my muse’s reaction to yours’: ✖ punching them

CRACK. Parsons let out a little cry and stumbled backward then fell on his ass. It was a great punch and he was a bit impressed but the pain was overwhelming his ability to admire her strength. “What the hell was that for?! It’s me, Parsons, I didn’t do anything!” He protested, raising a hand to check on the state of his poor cheek.

Without hesitation, Paula leaned down, looking him in the eyes. Her voice lacked any regret of the act of violence.“I know you’re Parsons. Rudy and Seth are next”, it was a guarantee. “This is so you learn to never agree with any of their ideas again.”

It had been a tiring afternoon at the shooting range. Paula hadn't trained her aim in a while and the weather seemed appropriate to spend some time outdoors. By the end of it, though, she was dripping in sweat and in a desperate need for a shower. She quickly grabbed a towel before entering it, coming out a few moments later to dress up on her quarters. Paula had barely picked some clothes when she heard the door opening again. Quickly, she held her towel closer to her body and frowned, as she saw who it was.

"What the hell is wrong with you boys?" It seemed the lack of understanding of privacy was a genetic concept. Not that nudity was a taboo when you lived at the same base - that could have an emergency at any given time -, but, still, it was the principle of the thing. "Couldn't you have knocked?", she had to ask, already facing away from him. She tried to remember where she had last put her charger and went straight to her bedside. 

“Hey, I was just-“ Parsons froze when he saw the sight before him and he opened his mouth to talk but for a second, nothing came out. Then he came to his senses and closed his eyes, not wanting to get a firm kick in the face from a potentially angry colleague. “Sorry, sorry, I just wanted to know if I could, uhm, use your iPhone charger. Rudy took mine.” Shit, shit, she looks good.
