-->Anyway, the ceremony went off well – but it also really drained Victor and Alice’s energy, poor things. I’d forgotten about that side effect of doing Medium stuff! I sent them both off to bed to snooze for a couple of hours while Smiler put out all the sacred candles and evolved Snappy their Sixam mosquito trap plant (it is now Excellent quality, yay) before heading down to the greenhouse to tend the plants. Unfortunately, another plant had picked up those annoying permanent glitch-weeds, so I kept having to stop and then restart their tending in other places so they didn’t get stuck in a never-ending weeding loop on that one dahlia flower. *grumble* I also had them take a break to hug Kelly (very important to their mental well-being), clean some spoiled food out of the minifridge (can't have anything rotting away in there), and drink some fizzy plasma (gotta keep that thirst quenched, after all)! Victor and Alice woke up around seven AM, and I had them head into the second-floor bathrooms to mop up some slime creatures that had appeared (this is when I reset Alice so she’d be able to use her arm properly, because, uh, I don't think that mopping technique is working) and use the toilets before heading downstairs for breakfast. I told Alice to eat some pumpkin spice waffles so she didn’t keep trying to wolf down prepped seafood (werewolves, man), while Victor decided himself to have some leftover seafood pizza (maybe he figured he’d like fish better if it was on a pizza XD). They both had a nice breakfast –
At least, until Kelly the cat came over and started meowing for leftovers. XD However, once they were done complaining about the needy kitty, Victor noticed the cat seemed to be upset about something and went over to see what was wrong while Alice cleaned up her plate. Turns out she was pissed for some reason (probably being denied her seafood pizza), so Victor cleaned up HIS plate while Alice did her best to calm the angry kitty. I don’t know if it worked or not, but at least she tried!
-->And then – farm chores time! Smiler had already gotten some of the harvest while Victor and Alice were eating (plasma fruit and their herbalism stuff, natch), so I sent them to feed and chat with the chickens while Alice went to go chat with Moory and milk her. Smiler then skivved off to have a little flirt with Victor in the kitchen, so I had Alice get the eggs as well (two normal, one hatchable) before making her clean out Moory’s shed, which led to her gathering up all the trash from around the lot (handy). Victor got sent out to Floralorial the problem plant as this was happening (as I’ve learned that apparently Sim magic is stronger than glitch-weeds – I approve), while Smiler was directed back to the barn to make some apple nectar. Once Victor was sure none of the other plants needed tending, I sent him to go collect all the “oversized” crops (which were all normal size this time since we didn’t drown them in fertilizers) and a few others that they didn’t have much of, like pineapples, soy beans, black beans, coconuts, pomegranates, and cherries. And also to get his honey and beeswax out of the bee box, before bonding with the bees and collecting a swarm to do some extra pollination near the back of the greenhouse. Gotta get the quality of those trees up!
-->While he was busy with that, though, Alice suddenly had a rage moment from her instincts telling her to hibernate and got the urge to run up to the attic and attack the giant rabbit plush they had up there. I was amused and allowed her to do this – but for some reason her pathfinding broke once she got up there, and she went up to the attic, back down again, and then back up again before finding her way to the rabbit. By which point anger was no longer her dominant emotion, so she didn’t actually do anything. *sigh* Sims 4 – it just works. Anyway, I had her go ahead and nap on the rug up there while Smiler finished their nectar and then finished cleaning up all the trash (including cleaning the chicken coop) while Victor finished collecting crops and tending his bees and super-sold the rest of the greenhouse...
