just for the sake of keeping things in chronological order, i'm gonna start with being normal about the cookie outpost arc.

this was such a good era for SOOOO many reasons. one thing that made it amazing was of course all the other stuff that was happening sort of at the same time (meetup teasers EVERY STREAM, 30 day SMP, peak beeduo content), but the other thing was that SO MUCH HAPPENED AND I FEEL LIKE NOBODY TALKS ABOUT IT? like the way we all just grazed over the fact that it was THE ONE AND ONLY TIME C!BEEDUO ACTUALLY OPENED UP TO EACH OTHER???? i mean fair because we got that confession and then like One Month later we got the meetup so the beeudoers were a little too bombarded with content and didn't get the time to properly process it, which, i mean- yeah me too. BUT GOD.

BEFORE WE GET INTO THE CONFESSION I JUST WANT TO QUICKLY HIGHLIGHT THE WAY C!RANBOO WAS SOOO CLINGY IN THAT STREAM LIKE MY MAN WAS READY TO KILL FOR HIS HUSBAND TO PROTECT HIS FAMILY AND I SO DEARLY WISH WE HAD THAT ARC I WANTED TO SEE THE AXE OF ENDER USED SOOOOOO FUCKING BAD OH MY GOD

i don't think i'll ever forget that time c!Tubbo told c!Ranboo about his execution while looking off into the distance (aka literally just Las Nevadas) AND-- [incredibly loud screaming, followed by glass shattering]. no because you have to go through that whole conversation again BECUASE IT MEANT SO MUCH. it was such a clear display of the care that they have for each other in ways that aren't just material (houses and money and such).

watching it live felt like watching end credits, like the final talk between two characters before a movie ends and MY GOD IT'S GOTTA BE ONE OF MY FAVOURITE LORE MOMENTS FR. NAY, DARE I SAY ONE OF MY FAVOURITE C!BEEDUO MOMENTS. there was also also the one time they were watching the sunset together while listening to a music disc and just chatting and that was also so important like the whole cookie outpost arc was c!Beeduo heaven and i think we definitely brushed past it too soon.

next we have c!Ranboo's death and how to c!Tubbo reacted to it AND OH MY GOD I CAN BE SOOOO NORMAL ABOUT THEM.

first of all, Ghostboo. in the beginning he was very "i'm so happy i died lol" and while c!Tubbo never heard it i can only imagine that if he had it probably would have evoked a reaction similar to "okay so what ur saying is ur life was hell when u were with me?" at least that's how i felt LMAO.

also i think it's a little interesting how c!Technoblade instantly went "we gotta find this dude's kid so we can return it to his husband" which is a little odd because tubbo and ranboo never mentioned to people that they were married (minus c!Tommy which makes sense because yknow tubbo's best friend n all that OFC tommy would know) so i just think it really went to show how close ranboo was to techno (which is a whole other can of worms that i will not open maybe in a fic someday who knows *winks with both eyes simultaneously*).

moving on. later on after aimsey joins the SMP ghostboo quickly changes his act and starts hiding the fact that he's dead. he offers to have aimsey move into his EMPTY MANSION THAT HE'S BEEN ROAMING IN FOR MONTHS WHICH HOLY SHIT MY POOR HEART. and then the argument c!Ranboo and c!Aimsey had was so so so perfect it tied up a couple loose ends and explained why nothing ever happened between c!Beeduo (which was really just because they hardly played on the SMP (because of the meetup GOD i miss it so much) at the time but they found a way to tie it into lore which is also cool (also i think the fandom was a little weird abt them back then so maybe they didn't want to push things too far in case the fans got a little weird which is also very fair)). ghostboo just sounded so bitter about the whole thing and so Not Like Himself. before he was all happy and chipper and having a fine time all the time but then he switched up and sounded angry and upset and distressed- which ended up making lots of sense due to the soul and the mind YEAH OKAY NEXT.

the revengers arc was also cool for SO MANY REASONS first of all i like to think it was the beginning of c!Tubbo's villain arc which Good for him love that. secondly we had a moment where tubbo met ghostboo for the first time and THEY HARDLY SPOKE TO EACH OTHER IF AT ALL. all ghostboo did was give tubbo a flower BUT THAT WAS IT. WHICH IS SO WEIRD?? but it may also have something to do with the soul and the mind and GOD i can onlyimagine how much it would hurt to try and speak to your husband through your ghost like that's gotta hurt man.

c!Tubbo's villain arc (using the term "villain" loosely) isn't that out of character tbh. he was long overdue for one, and what better to set him off than a new member on the SMP and being widowed before your first marriage anniversary :D

i like to think his interaction with c!Aimsey was really well done and made a lot of sense. it felt a lot like tubbo lecturing a newbie for fucking up and trying to teach them a lesson so as to not watch a timeline already seen unfold again. that whole argument tubbo was so so SO bitter. he was bitter about c!Ranboo's death and bitter about the daisy (because i think i reminded him of the discs and he's seen how that's ended) and bitter about NOT DYING. c!Tubbo has watched EVERYONE HE'S EVER BEEN CLOSE TO DIE. he's watched c!Tommy die, he's watched c!Ranboo die, and while he wasn't necessarily as close to him as the other two, if at all, c!Tubbo's watched c!Wilbur die. but the thing about tommy and wilbur is that they've all come back, which i think is why tubbo's not doing much about ranboo's death, because he's sure ranboo will come back. C!TUBBO HAS ALSO BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH SINCE HE HASN'T DIED. he's been through every war, he's been through all the shit with c!Dream, he's been through execution and loss and HE'S STILL ALIVE. EVERY PRESIDENT BEFORE HIM HAS DIED AND YET HE STILL LIVES. HE DANGLES HIS LIFE OVER AIMSEY'S HEAD AND BEGS THEM TO TAKE IT, albeit in a rather teasing and lighthearted way, BUT STILL!!!!!!!!

and while all of this is very villainous in nature i think it's also deserved. i don't think this is c!Tubbo trying to be evil, i think it's just him finally venting, finally snapping after all the shit he's been through. this has been him speaking his mind- speaking the truth- and while it may not be the truth aimsey wants to hear it's the truth nonetheless.

one thing i want to see REALLY BADLY is a reunion. i just need c!Beeduo to see each other again and talk and heal because i think they the only people who can do that for one another. i know us beeduoers have been saying "BEEDUO PLS COMMUNICATE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE" for years BUT SERIOUSLY ALL THEY NEED A LITTLE COMMUNICATION TO SOLVE ALL THEIR PROBLEMS.

but yea i'd say im pretty normal about them :]

there's just something so hngfhbg about c!Beeduo and it makes me completely normal. i think the bit that makes me the most normal is when ghostboo was arguing with c!Aimsey and how he was saying "nothing happened" and aimsey was like "that's bs" and ghostboo was like "no slash srs nothing happened and that was the problem" AND YEAH THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. c!Ranboo was always mining, building things with c!Tubbo, building (and having things built) for tubbo, but that was about it. and when they ended up working seperately for c!Wilbur and c!Quackity that just blatantly SHOWED that there was nothing more than empty buildings holding them together (the hotel, the cookie outpost (which is an arc i could talk about for HOURS), the mansion). and that's not to say they didn't have love to give- no, they had SO MUCH MOVE TO GIVE- communication had just never been either of their strong-suits so they were just left in a stalemate until the day c!Ranboo died (AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON C!TUBBO AFTER C!RANBOO'S DEATH I WILL EXPLODE). AND OH GOD THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A PROPER WEDDING ALL THEY HAVE IN COMEMORATION OF THEM IS AN EMPTY MANSION AND A HALF-DEAD SON WHICH IS KINDA POETIC IN THE SENSE THAT BOTH OF THOSE THINGS REPRESENT THEM SO WELL. there was just so much potential for the both of them but nothing ever lasts on that godforsaken server and i just want them to come home i just want a reunion i just want them to be happy again oh my god anyways yeah i'd say i'm pretty normal abt them :)
