I have an inherent laziness that’s built in me that I have to fight through all the time. So I would say getting off the couch. I’m very much a huge movie watcher and book reader, and even though that can be productive, it still does mean sitting on the couch. So I think my worst habit is getting me out of the house. Once I get out then I can keep moving.

I can't complain. I'm making a living out of what I do, which is really rare for a lot of actors. The hard part is staying confident and staying with it.

They approached me to then suddenly play the iconic role of Bane. For me that was one of my favourite villains of all time; so I really couldn’t say no. Ben McKenzie was a friend, an old friend. Donal Logue was an old friend, so to be able to just jump in there and go work in New York - I’d never worked in New York, for two months - and do my own take on the character was kind of a no brainer.
