For 2025, both Chelle (@prettywordsyouleft ) and I wanted to encourage each other to write a story each month. We chose to work with the same kpop song, and not tell the other what we came up with until it was written, so we could showcase how the same prompt can be used differently - or similar in some cases, I'm sure!

“Fine. Leave!”

“Fine. I will!”

The words were out before he could stop himself. Why did he just shout that? That wasn’t what he really wanted to say, but when you got under his skin, Jackson’s emotions went haywire.

Everything was going well in the relationship, or so he thought. So why was it that he now ended up following you from room to room as you collected your things.

“What are… you don’t.” Unsure of what to say now that the damage was done, Jackson tried to ask you why you needed to take these things, to take yourself away.

Away from him.

Looking at you, he could tell you were just as wound up as he was. Your eyes were red from crying, and your footsteps rushed through the apartment at a speed he didn’t realise you had, as numerous items were shoved in an overnight bag.

“Stop following me,” you pleaded, finally turning to face him. “You wanted this, so I’m leaving. Following through. At least one of us has to.”

Sniffling, you composed yourself as you zipped the bag up.

Jackson was breathing heavily, his eyes darting from your face, down your body to the hand reaching for the doorknob.

“Please.” His voice cracked and sounded so unlike its usual tone. He was pleading now, Jackson’s hand instinctively searched for yours as he stepped closer, the tears threatening to fall. You stepped back, and away from him. It was like you had punched him straight in the stomach.

“Goodbye Jackson.”

And then you were gone.

He had done this. This was all his fault. Why did he have to pick a fight? What was it even about in the first place? He struggled to remember the reason now, and it all seemed so stupid.

Suddenly, his knees gave out and he landed on the floor in a crumpled mess. Jackson couldn’t stop as the tears escaped fast and heavily when the realization hit him. Running his hands over his face, he tried to wash the tears away, but it was no use.

Panic hit him then and it made it hard to breathe. 

What was he going to do? He had to fix this.

Gasping for air, Jackson startled awake. His body was covered in a sheen of sweat as he searched the darkened room for something, anything palpable.

“Jack? You okay?” A soft voice asked, your head lifting slightly from the pillow beside him.

You were here. You hadn’t left. And you hadn’t fought. Your relationship was okay.

“I’m okay Baby. Just a bad dream,” he murmured huskily, sliding his body back under the covers and pulling you closer.

The need to make sure this was real slammed into him as his lips found the bare skin of your shoulder, a small noise of satisfaction filling the room at his touch.

He whispered, “Everything’s okay. We’re both okay. Nothing’s over.”

Bang Chan

You were a new producer at JYP Entertainment. You were exploring the building, making mental notes where everything was. But you were snapped out of your thoughts when you walked into something. 

“I’m sorry, are you alright?” a man’s voice said as hand lies on your shoulder. “I did’t see you when I opened the door.” The man had an Australian accent. 

“I’m okay, at least I think so.” You looked up at the man, nodding. “Thank god, but I still feel bad. So please I would like it if you joined me to get some coffee. You know as an apology.” The male now showed a smile in which his dimple was shown. “Fine by me. I’m y/n by the way.” “I;m Bang Chan, but you can call me Chan.” 

Both of you walked towards a coffee shop where the start of a new friendship was born.

Lee Minho

You worked in an animal shelter, for a in-service training period and of course for earning money. 

You were checking the cats, feeding them when the doorbell rang (you know those ones which ring when the door opens). A young man looks around the shelter as you walked to the counter. “Hello sir, how can I help you?” 

The male smiled. “Hello, I would like to adopt a cat please.”  you made a motion to the man for him to follow you to the back where the cats were. “Sir did you have any kind of idea what for cat you would like?” The male shook his head. “Feel free to look around and ask me questions, I still have to feed some of the cats.”

The male was there for nearly half an hour until he found a kitten. “Miss, I think I found my match.” You stood up and walked to him and the cat. “Ah, the kitten doesn’t have it’s parents anymore. It’s a sweet kitten. Please walk with me to the counter to fill in the application form and I’ll get the kitten.” 

The male filled in everything and payed as I handed him the kitten. “I’m curious sir, do you have a name already?” “I have, the name Dori. Also please call me Minho, miss y/n. Cause I will be here more often.” The young man said and then left the store. 

Seo Changbin

You were a trainee at JYP, you already were sorted into a new group. JYP decided they wanted a co-ed group. Today was a evaluation day with the sorting of position in the group. You were a rapper, together with your best friend. 

As you were preparing, JYP and some other idols walked in. “Hello, are you ready for the evaluation?” your whole group nodded. “With me I have Changbin from Stray Kids, Yugyeom from Got7 and Nayeon from Twice. Their going to help me and you go get better with your positions.”

You were chosen as last to perform. As nerves settle in you got a feeling of nausea, but quickly dismissed it when you walked in front of them. You had chosen the song Bermuda Triangle from Zico. You got the feeling that everything went alright, but the faces in front of you said otherwise. “You are an amazing rapper, I say main rapper.” the others next to JYP nodded too. Until Changbin spoke. “How about a collab. I like your raptone, I’m sure that we could make a great song.” You quickly said yes, and that was the start of a great friendship.

Hwang Hyunjin

You have been a backup dancer for a while, and you were assigned to Stray Kids official backup dancer. Right now your whole squad where with DanceRacha learning the new choreo for their new song. 

You kept on stumbling and messing up nearly more then half of the times. You had never heard your name being called this many times. “Y/n, you’re not doing it right again. You bring us and the team down, I swear if you don’t have it by tomorrow, I’ll kick you off the squad.” Minho yelled, while the rest were either looking at you in sympathy or annoyed. “It’s no use for you all to go further. Since y/n screws up everytime. So go and pack your stuff, we’ll see you tomorrow. And y/n I mean it, step up your game otherwise your dead.” With that everybody left except for Hyunjin. 

“I’m sorry for Minho-hyungs behavior. He’s just tired, I’ll learn ya the whole song okay? I play the song, you dance and I’ll help you get it correctly.”

Nearly the whole evening the two of you were dancing and fixing the choreo. Around midnight, Hyunjin left. While you stayed until the wee hours. You even fell asleep in the practice room only to be woken up in the morning by voices. You realized what happened and decided to play it out as if you just arrived and were practicing.

You danced the whole routine perfectly, it even made Minho smile. “I’m sorry about yesterday. You did great.” Both Hyunjin and Felix smiled at you, while Hyunjin walks to you and hugs you. “You did it, Friend.”

Han Jisung

Your parents forced you too study in Malaysia at the R.E.A.L International School. Since you were a new student, it wasn’t that easy to find your classroom for the first period. Luckily some other students were so nice to help you around the place. 

As you walked into the classroom, the students were already there and so was the teacher. “Hello, I’m the new student.” The teacher stood up and walks in front of the class. “Class, we have a new student.”

“Hello, I’m y/n.” The teacher smiled. “Welcome, you can take place next to mr. Han, please raise your hand.” A boy in the last row raised his hand and you went to the place next to him. 

“Hello, I’m Peter Han, or Han Jisung. What ever suits you.” He held his hand out for a handshake which you took. “Don’t worry y/n, I’ll stay with you as a friend. So you don’t get lost or lonely.”

Lee Felix 

You two were friends since birth, all the fold of your mothers being best friends. Now the two of you were laying on Felix’ bed watching a movie. 

It was clear to you that Felix mentally wasn’t in the room. “Lix, what are you thinking about?” He keeps his mouth and wraps his arms around your body. “You know your my best friend right?” You felt confused by his words. “Yes?”

Felix let out a deep breath. “I want to ask you to prom.” He said bluntly, which clearly shocked you. “Uhm, sure. I didn’t have a date yet, so your luckily.” You joked, but Felix wasn’t smiling. “What’s wrong?” 

“After graduation I leave. I’m going to South Korea to pursue a music carrier. You know like those Kpop idols. I auditioned for JYP Entertainment and got accepted.” The aura of the bedroom was a feeling of sadness and happiness at the same time. “Lix, I’m happy you got accepted and sad since your leaving me here.” The both of you joked for a while until Felix’ mom yelled that dinner was ready.

Kim Seungmin

You were an Idol, and the sister of Brian, aka Young K from Day6. Today you were going to visit your brother at the Entertainment. Security let you through as they stopped the fansites. As you walked through the wall of JYP Entertainment you realized you were a bit lost. 

Seungmin was walking through the halls of the entertainment for a reason he didn’t even know. He was listening to your solo songs, as he was a fan of you. He walked around the corner and saw a female standing there. When he looks closer he realized that he sees his favorite female solo artist. He walks up to you shyly. “Hello, What bring you here.” He bows.

You in the meantime nearly got a heart attack since you didn’t hear the boy coming towards you. You saw the face and also bowed. “I’m searching for the room Day6 is in. Wait aren’t you in Stray Kids? Seungmin?” Seungmin nods, feeling joy wash over him. “I know where they are, I’ll bring you there.” The both of you were talking the whole way to the band room. “Y/n, can I maybe ask for a photo?” You smiled at his cuteness and nodded. “Seungmin, text me sometime. You seem like a nice friend.”

Yang Jeongin

You have been a Stay since Stray Kids debuted. Right now you back in your hotel from the concert. You sat on the bed clearly still enjoying the concert even if it was over, that was until you could hear a voice outside of the door. 

So you did the thing that sounded the best for you, that was opening the door. To your surprise a face which you recognized stood in front of you in confusion. “Sorry, I but this is my room.” You looked at Jeongin in shock. “No, I booked this room, I have proof.”

You went inside again to grab the information that this was your room. Jeongin still stood by the door, looking inside too see if his luggage was in there. You walked back to Jeongin and showed him the info. “Oh... Then I don’t know where my room is.” He looks confused and overall very awkward. “I can help you look for it. I don’t mind.” The young boy looks uncertain at first but still accepted the request. 

After searching for a while and not finding the room, the two of you went to the reception to ask. Fortunately they could tell exactly in which room he needed to be. You walked with him to the room. “Wait for a second, I want to repay you.” Before you could say anything he walked in the room and with a few minutes later walked out again and handed you a note. The both of you bid farewell as you walked back to your room, reading the note.

‘Hi Stay,

I know that you knew me, I saw the lightstick on the nightstand. I want to repay you with some coffee, so here’s my number, text me.

I'm not sure I'll manage to come up with 10 but, I definitely have some goals for my fanfic writing journey in the next five years:

finish the Shadowhunters fic I haven't uploaded the last chapter of in about five or more years; it's literally in my drafts, it's basically done UGRH

continue and maybe finish the Atomic Blonde soulmate fic that's still so so dear to my heart;;

the same with the Resident Evil / Atomic Blonde crossover vampire fic; I have so many ideas with a whole handful of OCs as well for that one

in the next five years I really wanna finish and start uploading my GOT7 timeloop fic, which is going to be the start to what looks like a trilogy or a quadrilogy at the moment; I was so so stressed and busy these past months with exams and applying for uni and then getting into uni and doing the whole sign-up paperwork, and I'm still looking for a flat share in the city I'll be studying in because that's apparently impossible to find;;; so. I really wanna get back into that story. I adore that story. so so much.

other than finishing current works, I think I really want to do a collab in the next five years, actually! haven't thought about the fandom or the specific person yet but I think I've been wanting to do that for ages now and never managed to

I also wanna breach new fandoms, to be honest. Rebel Moon for instance.

since I also write original stories, I am gonna talk about them too: I wanna write more short stories! I love writing short stories;;

do a series of poems about one topic maybe; especially those dictionary poems, I love those and I wanna get good at writing them.

I am going to still be in uni in five years and I'm not looking to turn my hobby into a job, but maybe I can sell ebooks ? I'm definitely not looking to become famous with them, but I just want to see what happens, honestly. maybe I'll make some money on the side with it you know?

other than that I really just want to keep improving my writing, even if I already really like my writing style 🩷

What is Next for The Bangtan Gal!? Upcoming Chapters Part 2!

Damn, I'm really back writing this story with new chapters. It's weird yet exciting. Please bear with me with slow updates. I will try my best not to take forever to upload. You are welcome to skip this if you do not want to be spoiled on what I plan to write next for this story. 

Here is what I plan to work on. Some of these chapter titles may be placeholders and not everything is revealed in the summary as I'm still planning to get the gist of what's happening. As well as when I'll put smut and suggestive content in it. So stay tuned! But here is the first set of what I plan to write.

Blood, Sweat, and Tears- Jennie and Jimin fight over his extreme diet. BTS film BST with Jennie and Taehyung filming a sexy scene together. Jennie spends time with GOT7. (This will be the last time I write about his diet. There is angst in this but it will end fluffy with them making up. I apologize in advance for the angst :( )

Idol Parents?- BTS anticipates the release of WINGS. Jennie and Jungkook are assigned to take care of a robot baby for a parenting class at school. (A reader gave me the robot baby idea years ago and I ran with it, lol. I used to have parenting classes back in high school but could never take them because it was always full smfh. Weenies I tell ya. Always taking up spots for the classes I was interested in. College was WORSE OMFG I was pissed that I had to wait days while others got first dibs.)

Big Enough For Two- BTS promote BST as viewers and fans freak out and wonder what is going on between Jennie and Taehyung due to what they saw in the MV. Jennie suffers a wardrobe malfunction during a show. Jennie and Jungkook become stressed trying to juggle school and promotions. Pissed about having to take an exam the next morning, Jungkook's angry emotions are shown while performing late at night for a show and Jennie helps him calm down back at the dorm.

Thank You- Jennie finally tells Jungkook that she is ready for the next step. BTS continues to promote BST. JenKook plans with Bangtan and Big Hit on how they want to reveal their relationship. BTS film their Halloween dance practice

Our First Time (Jungkook smut)- Jennie celebrates her birthday in Japan and Jungkook makes it a memorable one.

BTS 3rd Muster

First Daesang!- BTS wins their first Daesang! Jennie excitedly shares on social media about her preparations to collab with Hyuna at the MAMA Awards. But less than a week before the show, Mnet claims Jennie is not ready for a vocal solo performance and it is too early in her story to perform solo. The collab gets scrapped and Hyuna plans to perform by herself which pisses off Armies with the blindslide. (That'll be the end of the Hyuna stuff. They will no longer be friends after this and I will be done writing about her. For Mnet telling Jen she is not ready, I got inspiration from Victoria Monet being told she was not ready by MTV. But best believe MAMA Awards 2017 with Big Hit making sure she gets her time to shine without dealing with another Idol like Hyuna, she will SLAY. It will suck having Jennie spend long hours every day preparing for her solo before collabing with Hyuna. She planned to release a new song too. The song I thought of was Victoria Monet's Alright. Without the cussing since it would be on TV and also without the Jaguar roaring at the end of the song. That song is a banger! Omg. The plan was to have her perform that song for the first time while DJing and then dance and stuff before Hyuna met with her on stage. She will have the chance to perform it at one of the end of the year shows instead. G-Dragon will give Jen a pep talk on everything too and show support. I hope you like the vision when I write it.)

Mama Awards 2016- Jennie and Taehyung prepare for a stage kiss at the award show and BTS wins Best Artist. Jennie still makes sure to have a little solo dance for Fire when Bangtan performs, proving that she is ready for a solo.

BREAKING!! BTS' Jennie & Jungkook dating!?- Jennie supports Taehyung during his press conference for his drama. JenKook reveal their relationship in their own unique way, catching Dispatch and the world offguard. Big Hit and Bangtan show their support for the couple

Going Public- With their relationship out, Jennie and Jungkook happily enjoy being a couple without having to be private. BTS attends ISAC 

You Never Walk Alone- Jennie and Jungkook graduate high school. BTS promote their new album with Jennie getting called Storm for dyeing her hair white/grey for the new comeback.

Black Panther- BTS begins their WINGS tour. Black Panther's director reaches out to Big Hit, wanting Jennie to have a small role in the film, and makes a character for her. Excited and honored, Jennie films with the Black Panther cast in Busan for the casino/chase scene, doing her own stunts. (I have been having this idea for years! It'll be a step closer for Jennie and Jungkook to meet Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. I got major ideas for the future after this Marvel themed chapter! I hope you enjoy the vision when I write it! It's going to be so fun!)

Billboard Awards 2017- Jennie Media trains BTS for America as they prepare to attend the Billboard Awards. Jennie runs into Trinity from Amity. (Best believe she will make sure to let Namjoon know what a heart throb is lol. I still remember that. Lots of Jennie and Namjoon fluff. She is going to have his back)

American Music Awards 2017- Suffering a broken ankle, Jennie documents her recovery, trying to stay positive as she promotes with BTS in America injured.

Mic Drop Remix- BTS release the Mic Drop Remix. Jennie and Desiigner snap on his version of Mic Drop. Recovered from her injury, Jennie makes a statement with a vocal and dance solo stage during Bangtan's performance after getting her solo scrapped at last year's MAMA Awards.

New Year's Rockin' Eve

Black Panther Premiere & Press Tour In Seoul- BTS attend the Black Panther Premiere to support Jennie. Jennie attends the Press Tour of Black Panther in Korea. Hobi releases his mixtape

Burn The Stage

Complete The Square- After Hobi's mixtape is out, ARMY trends for wanting Jennie, the last of the rap line for BTS, to finally release the music she has been working on for years. (Since there will be 4 people in the rap line of BTS, RM, Suga, Hobi, and Jennie, I thought it would be cool to say complete the square since she's the last one to release solo music)

Jennie X NIKE- Jennie films commercials for her Nike endorsement with celebs like Lebron James and Kevin Hart. Jennie proves that her getting chosen to endorse Nike was one of the best business decisions as her endorsement with the brand is released and sells out immediately, creating high demand. Jennie goes on press tours to promote the brand. (I'm highkey considering her Nike collab to be like Beyonce's IVY Park. Having various collections each time. I am still brainstorming.)

Love Yourself: Tear- BTS promote their new album. BTS attends the Billboard Awards 2018. BTS goes on Ellen and the Late Late Show with James Corden. (Jennie is not a fan of Ellen and will think of the negative experience she had during the Amity days with her.)
