she's a harbinger serving an order of death oracles and her body is covered in magic tattoos that prevent her from dying, unless she's beheaded... which she nearly is, right at the start of the story, her tattoos unable to fully take effect, which leaves her unmoving... until a mysterious mage with ulterior motives closes the wound so her imbued magic can take care of the rest.... compelled by a lie to travel together... what do their fates have to do with each other... (t4t, haters to friends to what are we to enemies to unrepentant obsessed lovers? not even i know yet...)

nausicaa of the valley of the wind, and vision of escaflowne, and elden ring, and a hint of arthuriana. and fuck it, a crumb of the dark crystal. prophecies are reaaaaaal now wtf will you do with them. my very very self indulgent queer dark fantasy.

my design principles are inspired by all the anime art i saw at age 12 before understanding i was transgender and bi. always ask yourself these questions: is it awesome. is it androgynous. is it high fashion inspired. are there elves.

i am currently working on the broader worldbuilding so i have things to cement the plot to, and thus things to anchor their character designs in, but i'm already very attached to Knell and Trine (even though that name is itself a placeholder) and excited 2 let them run loose in my brain. aspirationally, a comic. at the very least. something that will make me practice storyboarding and character design again <3
