#em draws stuff#flintlock fortress#team fortress 2#this was. not the thing I was planning to draw next.#but I did that thing again where I got very very sad via 'the bagman's gambit' by the decemberists and I had to make an image that fit#it's the sort of song that'll give you all manner of feelings about deserters and turncoats and spies#so here is a bit of samuel backstory! for he has also had rather a case of the Interesting Past#this isn't my best likeness of him but it's a good Snarl so I'm well satisfied!#got a little aesthetic help from watching sharpe's rifles when it came to the powder burn and the queue movement I'll admit...#took this drawing out to the scifi society which is always fun because I can borrow people's eyes to see what I should fix in the coloring#and on account of this I am extra extra pleased with how it turned out!
