From yesterday’s Sri Gaura Purnima festival. We were invited to go to a cow sanctuary to celebrate the Golden Yuga Avatar, Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s advent this Wednesday! . We got to feed & hug the cows! Was so sweet. Rocking kirtan with Sripad Agnidev Prabhu & devotees who had come from all around the world! Amazing prasadam from many devotees. I made Mahaprabhu’s favorite, a Bengali style spinach dish, to bring & offer for everyone. We got to sit outside on the grass in the sun as we ate & it was just an awesome day all around. . New friends, new places, new adventures! Even though my birthday is today, I couldn’t think of anything else I would have rather done to celebrate my birth than by glorifying the appearance of the one who gave me connection and entrance into this beautiful and ancient tradition of Sri Harinam Sankirtan! . Best day I’ve had in years, & best birthday I’ve had after the one I spent in India! So blessed & fortunate to have some association with such exalted and surrendered souls. You all inspire and motivate me to keep on keeping on each day of my life. So much love!
