Rei :

The show was crazy tonight. You'd seen videos (of course, seeing how Rei had a tendency to plan everything), but you'd never been to the actual thing. And it turns out the actual thing was just wild.

The boys were amazing, dancing and singing without any break. They all looked gorgeous too, winking and flirting with the audience. It was really hot, everyone was shouting the lyrics and waving their glowsticks in time with the beat. But the best thing was how Rei looked that evening. He seemed straight out of a movie. His pale skin glistened with sweat, red eyes piercing the crowd as if he were looking at everyone individually. When he moved a hand through his hair, the fans went wild. He just smiled in answer, getting ready for his next line. And then he winked at you.

What ? You looked around you. You were fairly sure he couldn't see you : the venue was packed with people and the girl right before you was taller. And yet he was smirking, looking very pleased with himself. Could it be... He couldn't have known, could he ? You didn't have to doubt much longer : judging by the amount of playful winks and handwaves he threw in your direction, something was up. Oh well, you could at least enjoy what remained of the show, right ? The best part was only coming, after all.

Once the live was over, everyone got out of the venue, chatting excitedly about tonight's performance. But you weren't among the flow of people exiting the room, no : you were sneaking out backstage, looking for the performers' lodge. And you soon found it. Judging by their voices, Koga and Kaoru were talking further down a corridor, and you'd seen Adonis going outside to take a bit of fresh air. Perfect. You entered the room, already grinning at the prospect of seeing your long-distance boyfriend...

... except that the lodge was empty. Surprised, you went to look for him, just in case he might've gotten bright ideas and hidden somewhere in the room. That's definitely not above him, after all. As you were examining around the lodge, you felt a hand gently push you next to the wall and an arm gracefully turn you over. And sure enough, right in front of you now stood a very smug-looking self-proclaimed vampire. His eyes were twinkling happily.

"What do we have here ? Oh my, you just so happen to look very similar to my beloved. Would you know anything about that person ?"

"I don't know, what can you tell me about that 'beloved' of yours ?" you teasingly answered, quirking an eyebrow. He chuckled, leaning closer to you. You found your eyes irresistibly drawn to his.

"Sweet, lovely and affectionate. And also willing to travel all the way to Japan to watch one of my lives. That's how I'd descrived my beloved." His lips pursed into a smirk when you hugged him close, hearbeat echoing loudly inside you. It felt so good to finally be with him...

"Hey now, that was supposed to be a surprise." You laughed, hiding your face in his neck, before suddenly raising it to watch him curiously. "How did you know I was in there anyway ? With the spotlight and the number of people here tonight, I thought for sure you couldn't see me !"

He hummed in response, one of his hands gently stroking your hair now. He was looking at you with such intensity you were pretty sure he'd burned a hole through your face by now. "When you buy a concert ticket, you always give your name, don't you... ? It just so happens I read the names of the members of our lovely audience, just in case a familiar face might peer up someday..."

You groaned, feigning exasperation at your ever-ready boyfriend's scheme. "And how am I supposed to surprise you, then ? Since you know everything." He just smiled, looking at your lips for a split second, then back at your eyes.

"I'll let you surprise me, then. You have ten seconds."

You didn't really need more to kiss him, eyes closing as your lips gently touched his. His hands found their way on the small of your back, and you were both getting lost in this wonderful moment – yes, that unique moment when your two bodies and minds finally became one aga-

"Oi, vampire bastard !! Don't we have a fucking after-live debriefing to do ? You're slackin' off again, dammit !"

You sighed, rolling your eyes while Rei chuckled. But as his hand found yours, you thought it really was nice to be back by his side. And you'd go through anything to feel that warmth again.

Kaoru :

You weren't really sure you liked it, actually.

You'd come all the way to Japan to surprise your boyfriend by secretly going to watch one of live concerts. He was amazing, on the stage : you'd never seen him as passionate before. The music was great too. No, what you really disliked was something else.

It was all the girls who were screaming his name around you. You didn't really know if he was feeling extra flirty that night or if he was usually like that, but he was flirting with the audience non-stop. Winking, blowing kisses, taking cool poses for them all to fawn over him. As much as you were trying to enjoy what you came all the way from your home country to see, the fangirls were kind of ruining your experience.

All that by reminding you that even though he was dating you, a bunch of girls would be ready to pounce on him were he single. You were dating a famous idol, and the thought was just setting in.

Before you knew it, the audience called for an encore, and after that last song it was over. Kaoru was busy waving at the crowd, even throwing his jacket in the audience. You were pretty sure some girls would fight to take it home. Once the venue had cleared a bit, you found yourself going backstage, even though you weren't really in the mood to surprise your boyfriend anymore.

The thing is, the backstage section was way bigger than you thought it was. Before you knew it, you were retracing your steps, trying to pay attention to the boys' voices coming from over there to find your way. Until-

Until you bumped into a certain someone, busy wiping his face with a towel. He was staring at you, eyes wide. Oh no, you thought. You weren't ready, you didn't know what to tell him, also you were just moping at the moment, what was he going to think ? Meanwhile, he just lightly pinched his wrist to check he wasn't dreaming, then beamed at you before rushing to hug you tight. His abandoned towel fluttered to the ground while you found yourself squeezed in his arms, and he even liften you off the ground with a happy laugh.

"That's you ! What are you doing here ? No, never mind, I don't wanna know. I don't care, as long as you're here ! I can't believe it !" When he finally put you back, he was laughing embarassedly, scratching the back of his head. Obviously, he was so surprised he didn't even know what to say. You were also looking for something to say, and eventually you both spoke at the same time, even saying the exact same thing.

"Listen, uh-" You both stopped and giggled nervously. He then gently placed a hand on your cheek, gazing down on your face with a soft smile. When he spoke again, his voice sounded a bit shaky, and he almost looked... shy ? "I... I really wasn't expecting to see you there. I'm so happy you did something like that. Are you... you know, free ? Maybe we could spend a day or two together ?"

You couldn't bring yourself to answer, and he hastily added, thinking he was too direct : "I mean, if you can. And want. Gosh, we don't see each other a lot so I'm a bit- I mean, I'm a bit shy." He laughed awkwardly, and you eventually allowed yourself to smile too.

He looked so genuinely happy, and when he looked down at your face, his eyes were brimming with tears. How could you ever doubt a guy as sweet as him ? Sure, he was an idol and his fans loved him. But he loved you, and only you, and that's what truly mattered. So you ran to hug him, surprising him once more. "Yeah, of course Kaoru ! That's what I came for, didn't I ?"

He gave you a huge smile as you answered, squeezing you harder and kissing you suddenly. The pressure of his lips against yours was a bit too rough, but every second of it was very enjoyable nonetheless. You'd finally gotten back your boyfriend all to yourself, and you were determined to enjoy every second of it !

Koga :

As much as you were trying to plan what exactly you'd say when you'd surprise your boyfriend backstage, you found yourself being distracted by UNDEAD's live show. They were amazing ! And not to brag, but your boyfriend was the absolute best, on that stage. He'd even brought his guitar and played it live ! How awesome is that ? Judging by the fans' cheers and the waving glowsticks, tonight's show was great.

You were wearing your coolest clothes, cheering and clapping with everyone else. And the best part was that it was only the beginning of one amazing trip to Japan. You couldn't refrain a huge smile from forming on your lips. Surprising him at one of his lives was probably the best idea you could've had !

Too quickly, the guys were performing their encore, and then thanking the crowd for coming. Koga was throwing a fist in the air, grinning wildly. He looked so pleased about himself ! No doubt he was very satisfied. And you were going to make him even happier ! You quickly strutted to the backstage area, looking over your shoulder one last time at the rest of the crowd leaving the concert hall. They didn't know you were one lucky fan..

Kaoru almost did a double take when he passed by you in a corridor but waved at you, a huge smile on his face. You'd met him on your last trip here, and he was a really friendly guy. Actually, you'd have stopped to chat a bit with him were it not for the voice you heard coming up.

"Oi, Kaoru ! Where the fuck did ya put my stuff ?! I thought I left that for you to take care of, you bastard !"

You and Kaoru exchanged one panicked glance. Your eyes fell on the door to the lodge : Koga's "stuff", whatever it was, was probably inside. And you wanted to surprise him so bad : he couldn’t just see you now ! Your breath hitched in your throat when Kaoru nodded to the door and mouthed to you "I'm taking care of him". Not needing to be told twice, you quickly entered the lodge, closing the door as quietly as you could. You only had enough time to hide behind a couch as you heard rapid footsteps behind the door.

"Don't worry, I got you, Koga. Say, haven't you seen Adonis around ? We should probably go and have the usual after-live debriefing session, with the oth--"

"Ha, what the fuck ? Don't tell me you're eager to do that kinda stuff. Yer always leavin' before we even have the time to say your name." Touché, you thought, wincing to yourself. Kaoru laughed awkwardly, quickly adding something else.

"I thought tonight was especially important. Well anyway, let's go and look for the others."

"Ya can go if ya want, but I'm takin' a rest. Y'all can just join me in here." You then heard someone trying to open the door, but it stayed closed. Kaoru was talking noticeably louder and faster and seemed a lot more anxious now.

"Hey, wait, at least help me find Adonis ! I always get lost in here--"

"I'm right here." Was that Adonis' voice ? You tried your best to muffle your laughter. Poor Kaoru... He was only trying his best.

"See, he's here. Ya just can go and talk things over with the vampire bastard. I'll be in there. See ya."

"No, wait !"

Koga barged into the room, looking a bit irritated from his fruitless conversation with Kaoru. Enough so that he slammed the door shut right in his face. You didn't really need more and jumped out of your hiding place, a bright smile on your face.

"Guess who came all the way here to watch your live ?"

It was absolutely hilarious : Koga's face completely froze for a solid five seconds. Then his eyebrows seemed to relax, his eyes started to twinkle and a light smile formed on his lips... but that was only for two seconds. He looked as irritated as ever when he got near you.

"What the hell ? Ya took the plane and all by yourself ?"

"Uh huh." You beamed at him, and he frowned.

"Just to come here ? Wasn't that expensive ?"

"If it's for you it's okay !" He didn't look convinced, eyebrows still tightly knit together. You wondered... was that worry on his face ?

"C'mon, don't ever do that again ! What if yer plane has an accident or somethin' ? What if ya get lost ? What if a weirdo decides yer cute and follows you 'round ? What would ya do ? Oh yeah, that's right, you wouldn't do anything !" He looked unusually serious, even a bit angry. Your mouth reflexively closed and you briefly wondered if he was displeased with you being here... As he didn't speak, instead watching you intently, you shyly answered.

"I mean... everything was okay, and I really wanted to surprise you..." His face softened a little but he growled, hugging you tight in one swift, rib-crushing motion. He hid in the crook of your neck, even taking one long sniff at you. When he talked again, his voice was muffled.

"Sorry. It's just, I don't like that you're there by yourself just for me. Next time, I'll come to you, okay ?"

You laughed before lightly kissing him, leaving him confused. You then held out your pinky with a wink. "Is it a promise, Mr Angry Wolf ?" He just groaned in response, taking your pinky with his so suddenly you thought he was going to rip it off.

" 'ts not a promise, it's a fuckin' plan, yeah. I'm serious about that."

And his eyes made it clear he was.

Adonis :

As you took in the sight, you dreamily thought the price was definitely worth it. All of UNDEAD was "rockin' on", as Koga liked to say, including your boyfriend, Adonis. You couldn't help but notice he looked noticeably less stiff than on the videos he managed to send you. He was probably used to being an idol now, and you were damn proud of him. He still had his clumsy moments, but that was just endearing for you.

Too soon, the concert was over and the boys said their goodbye to the audience. Rei was as smooth as ever, Koga looked like he didn't give a damn and Kaoru was busy flirting with some fans. Adonis, on the other hand, awkwardly bowed and promptly got off the stage. As the room was becoming pretty stuffy, you kind of wanted to leave soon too, and you sighed of relief when the crowd finally started to clear away. This allowed you to go backstage, where you were planning to surprise your boyfriend.

Well, that was the plan, at least. Ten minutes later, you'd gotten lost twice, unable to find Adonis. Kaoru even helped you find your way to the lodge, but only Rei was inside. He gave you a useful tip nonetheless : apparently after lives, Adonis liked to go have some fresh air outside. With the directions fresh in mind, you soon found him and sure enough, he was leaning on the small balcony, looking at the sunset. As much as you wanted to go unnanounced, you were afraid he'd have a heart attack and instead softly called out his name as you approached. He jumped up in surprise, looking you over with startled eyes. He actually rubbed them lightly, just to make sure you were them with him.

"Is that... you ? What are you..." He looked almost vulnerable and you couldn't help but laugh a bit, hugging him gently from behind.

"Yep, the one and only. Surprised yet ?" He shyly nodded and you felt your heart drop at the sight. He looks scary when you don't know him but really, he's one big puppy. The two of you silently cuddled for a moment, watching the sunset. His hands had found yours and were wrapped around them. They were big and warm, making you feel so safe...

"Did you see... the moment I tripped ?" he asked, suddenly but in a soft voice. You just blinked in response. When did he trip ? You were observing him the whole time : there was no way he'd tripped without you noticing... Sensing you were confused, he added, eyebrows lightly furrowed. "At the end of the chorus, in Destruction Road. The moment we're all supposed to go back to our assigned spots after dancing in the center."

"Then I guess you got really good at being an idol, because I never noticed and I was locking eyes with you the whole time." He looked away but smiled at your answer, gently squeezing your hand. You found yourself smiling uncontrollably. So that's how Adonis was in real life... with how busy and how bad with technology he was, you didn't really grasp what he was like. Or so you thought. He's just that quiet and shy in real life... Just as you were reflecting on that, he echoed your own thoughts.

"It's nice, what you're like. I like it. It's better than-"

"Better than on the messenger, right ? Even the calls. I agree too ! " You softly kissed his cheek, and he hummed, looking both happy and confused at the sudden mark of affection. That didn't prevent him to turn around and look at you in the eye. There was a sincere little smile on his lips, one that you loved.

"Let's spend lots of time together."

You could only agree. After all, that's what you came all the way for, right ?
