The ruins of the 3rd Life world, a place full of both painful and wonderful memories, is not exactly the first choice for a hangout spot. Grian has granted everyone access to the world, exactly how it was left at the end of the series, but nobody ever comes here except Skizz.

“Yeah, I’m having the same with Ren. We promised to hang out as often as we could but I haven’t even spoken to him in a few weeks. That’s why I’m really hoping Scott will put me on a team with Ren for MCC.”

“MCC?” repeats Skizz. “Oh, you mean that tournament thing?”

Martyn nods. “Yeah. Scott organises the teams; I’m currently expecting a message from him to let me know who he’s put me with.”

“Oh man, I can’t even begin to imagine how epic you two would be together on an MCC team. You could win it for Dogwarts!”

Skizz frowns at him, but his friend’s lack of a reply is really all the answer he needs. “Oh… I see.”

“Okay, listen. I’m not sure, alright? I wanted to win, but I don’t know if I actually would’ve been able to go through with betraying him. Frankly, I choose to see it as a “the situation didn’t arise so I don’t need to think about it” kind of thing.”

“Huh. Fair enough.”

After a moment, Martyn gives a quiet sigh. “Okay, I don’t think I would’ve actually done it. Ren… He… He was the first person I’d met in a long time who really took the time to get to know me. I stayed with him out of necessity at first but he was… he was - IS - different than anyone else I’ve ever met. You know?”

“I think so,” says Skizz. “There’s just that connection, huh? When you know instantly you’ve met a friend for life. I got that with you the second you said you’d go through the underground tunnel to back me up against Grian and Scar.”

“Really?” chuckles Martyn. “That moment?”

A short silence follows this, punctuated by Martyn’s communicator going off. He quickly checks it. Skizz watches a smile slowly spread over his face.

“Message from Scott,” says Martyn, his voice mostly controlled but with a slight tremor.

Skizz stares at him, hardly daring to hope. “No way…!”

Martyn’s smile widens into a grin. “Yeah! It’s me, Illumina, FalseSymmetry, and… and Ren.”

“Oh my gosh! You guys are gonna represent Dogwarts at MCC!”

“And that’s an AMAZING team, too,” Martyn adds. “False and Illumina are extremely good. I think we might have a real chance.”

1. How much time do you spend thinking about a reply before you sit down to type?

lmao me? think? got nothing but air in this noggin. no, but, really — it really depends on what thread it is! if it’s more involved & plotted then i’ll most likely stew on possibilities on where to progress. if it’s just something silly then i can guarantee you that it’s all improv the moment i sit down to reply, like 9 times out of 10. 

3. Are you proficient in any language outside of your native tongue? do you write characters that speak multiple languages?

nope!! but i am making an effort to learn :’) i can understand mandarian more than i can speak & write it, and i’m just now dipping my toes back in to learn korean again. 

5. What time of day are you most productive with regard to writing?

mostly during the day ( and.. maybe on shift oops ) since i usually play games or watch shows when i get home to help DeStress

7. When roleplaying, do you pace yourself when answering replies or do you like to write for them as soon as you can?

lmao me? pacing? absolutely not. i can’t even let my replies go through the queue right before i just post them. if i have the energy / muse / brain power to write a competent reply then by george i’m going to do it as soon as i can. but i’m usually.. lacking one of the 3 listed so sometimes i have sm muse for threads but not the ability to word them properly and they just.. simmer in the drafts until i can think clearly again. 

9. What is your average length / word count regarding roleplay replies? does the length of your partner’s replies matter or is important to you?

gosh... lately it’s been between 1 to 2 paragraphs on average? sometimes i’ll be graced with a very talented writer with very talented plots and ideas and be possessed to write like 4-5 paras but.. not often. i’ve also come to like small para replies & 2 liners tbh. ALSO.... reply length from my partners do not matter. i’m a very firm believer of quality over quantity.

because he knows it isn’t worth it, he knows he’ll lose, and he knows how dangerous touya can get. that’s almost an automatic death sentence for him, especially since he was the one reader originally cheated on touya with!! truthfully, he’s lucky he’s still breathing at all (which is really all thanks to the fact that touya works for tomura’s father, and touya knows if he kills tomura, then he will be killed in turn by tomura’s father, or will spend the rest of his + reader’s life frantically on the run). but overall he knows that the reader is in love with touya, and him attempting any fight is both pointless and hazardous!! 

does she love tomura back?

no, she just cares very deeply for him. there is definitely a potential for love to sprout there just in general between those two characters because they get along so well, but by this time in the story she’s in much too deep with touya (because she does genuinely love touya!). in this piece, reader also feels guilt for having left tomura so suddenly and then never even attempting to contact him again. she feels like they both need closure, and she kind of pities him in a way. but she sincerely cares for him and decided to seize the coincidental opportunity when it presented itself!!

diana/elliot + “how did you get in here?” taken from this prompt list! word count: 1.3k warnings: for 2.3 seconds there is a reference to past ~*spiciness*~ but it’s almost entirely tooth-rotting fluff.

“Ell?”

Diana’s voice drifts through the front door of the house curiously. It’s late enough in the afternoon that the sunlight is orange-gold and bathing everything in the house that color, cutting across the floor in rich, comforting swathes. The air smells faintly of sugary confection—which likely means that Elliot’s spent her free time trying to replicate Scarlet’s magic with lemon bars—but there’s something else, too.

Hay?

It’s not uncommon to have the faint scent of alfalfa drifting through their house, considering Elliot is in and out of the barn all day, riding around the two hundred or so acres she had planted their stake in. The day Elliot had quit her job at the sheriff’s office had been the day she kicked it into overdrive to get her most ideal life.

And she’d made it very clear that Diana was a big piece of that picture.

“Elli?” Diana sing-songs the nickname reserved for herself and Joey Hudson alone, dropping her bag on the floor by the door and making her way through the house. She thinks she can hear the faint sound of a snore, but it’s quickly drowned out by the sound of Boomer’s nails clicked against the hardwood floors as he comes rushing to greet her.

He’s delighted, of course, tail sweeping in big, grand gestures as he noses her hands affectionately and looks at her with that big doggy grin. Diana brushes a few stray strands of hay from his fur.

“Are you the smell?” she asks him, and then hears one heavy, hot huff of breath from the living room.

Oh, she thinks absently, that’s odd. My wife doesn’t breathe like that.

The words still feel a little strange—my wife echoing pleasantly around in her head every time she says it or thinks about it—but she’s got to focus on the task at hand: the weird heavy breathing coming from her living room.

She steps around Boomer and passes through the kitchen. The lemon bars are, in fact, out on the top of the stove, still awaiting the powdered sugar topping. It’s unlike Elliot to wait until they’re cooled to powder them; not because she’s supposed to (she is, and Scarlet tells her this every time she’s around, and Diana remembers it every time) but because she insists that powdering them when they’re hot is the way it should be done. It isn’t, and yet—

And yet, she still is the cutest thing. The thought passes through Diana’s mind just as she steps into the living room to find her wife asleep on the floor with their baby cow.

Presently unnamed, though she’s certain that Elliot would be content to leave it at the baby, even when the cow has grown to full size. She will always be the baby in that way.

Said baby blinks up at her with big, soft eyes. The door out to the back patio is wide open, letting a hot, late-afternoon breeze in, but the sun’s begun to set and the sky’s turning more purple than red, and the crickets are starting to kick on somewhere outside. Crouching down, Diana rubs the baby’s velveteen-soft fur between her eyes.

“How did you get in here?” she asks the cow, who only chuffs hot breath against her hand and flicks teddy-bear-brown ears comfortably. She’s curled up on the floor with Elliot using the widest part of her side as a pillow.

She knows that the blonde doesn’t sleep well, ever. She knows, because every time Scarlet comes over for dinner, she waits for Elliot to leave the room before she says, is she getting enough sleep? She’s never been a good sleeper, that daughter of mine, and Diana will have to say yes, that she’s doing alright, because it’s the truth. Elliot is just fine, and maybe she’s restless and there might be a few nights every couple of weeks where Diana is pretty sure she doesn’t sleep at all, but that’s okay.

It’s okay, because she knows that Elliot is trying. Therapy once a week, and good, hard salt-of-the-earth work, and spending time with people who love her all have her on the right track. And if sometimes she takes a nap on the floor of their living room with their cow, well, who is she to critique? It’s not like her sleep schedule’s all that much better, anyway. But at least they have each other.

Diana reaches out with her other hand and gently jostles her leg. “Elliot, wake up,” she says amusedly. The blonde startles a little out of her sleep, almost halfway—not quite fully awake, but awake enough to muster up a confused noise in response. Her cheeks are still flushed from the heat and from her sleep, and she struggles to sit up.

“You’re home?” Elliot asks, words slurring drowsily. “But I didn’t finish dinner—”

“You didn’t start dinner,” Diana points out.

“Lemon bars can be dinner.”

“Why are you taking a nap with the cow on the floor?”

Elliot’s mouth presses into a pout. She’s got some loose pieces of hay stuck in her hair. “She was lonely,” the blonde says around a yawn. “Weren’t you, little girl?”

The baby blinks at her with the same big eyes she blinked at Diana with, and Elliot scratches behind her ears affectionately, stifling another yawn.

“How was work?” she asks Diana, having leaned forward to kiss her; Diana takes Ell’s face in her hands.

“The baby’s still in the house.”

“Oh yeah,” Elliot says, like she forgot. “I’ll take her back outside. And also, does this mean we can have just lemon bars for dinner?”

Diana feels a smile tugging at her mouth. “Yes, but Whitehorse keeps asking if I’m eating properly, so you’ve gotta stop making a liar out of me.”

“Lyin’ is a sin,” the blonde intones dutifully, and Diana feels a laugh billow out of her; she closes the distance between them, kissing her warmly. Beside them, the baby snorts and flicks her tail leisurely, reminding them of her presence on the floor of their living room.

“She can stay,” Diana suggests, her voice playful.

“No, she has to get used to sleeping in her room,” Elliot grumbles against her mouth, kissing her a second and then a third time before she sighs heavily. “But tell me how work was.”

“Good. Hudson misses you.”

“She lives like, three minutes away.”

“Everything,” she reminds the blonde, “is at least twenty-five out.”

Elliot makes a disgruntled noise, something like hm, because being twenty-five minutes out of reach of people is exactly where she wants to be, and then smiles. “We should have another barn sleepover. Like we did when baby first came.”

“Yeah? Maybe this time we could stick a heater out there,” Diana murmurs.

“Or we could not,” her wife returns, “and keep each other warm.”

“Ah, so an exact replica of our first barn sleepover,” she says playfully.

“I prefer accuracy over everything else, after all.”

Diana laughs, leaning in to kiss her again just as Boomer comes over and noses under her arm so that he’s panting hot doggy breath on the both of them, mediating their little embrace.

Purposefully, she says, “Let’s eat our dinner of lemon bars first, and then we can talk about the logistics of a barn sleepover.”

“Deal.” Elliot grins, and then pulls herself to a stand, clapping her hands to usher the baby to her feet as well so that she can shuffle out the door. “Though I think the logistics are pretty easy. You, me, the critters, fifty blankets. Leftover lemon bars.”

“Okay, I’m convinced. It’s done.”

“Good!” The blonde stops in the doorway, through which the baby has already meandered out to the back yard, and looks over her shoulder. For a split second, Elliot’s expression softens, and then she says, “You’re so beautiful, honey.”

Diana feels heat crawling up her throat. They’ve been married for a year, and it’s still like this.

“Hurry up,” she says, even despite the blush flooding her face, her throat feeling a little tight. “I wanna get settled in for the sleepover.”

“Bossy.”

“You love it.”

Elliot’s face splits in a brilliant smile, and she promises sweetly, “More than anything.”

my first listen of resonance pt. 1!

i wanted to start doing these since i’m very interested in music and stuff and i wanna learn how to properly express musical things etc. etc. so yea!! feel free to ignore and these are just my opinions, so pls don’t come @ me thanks :)

track 1: make a wish (birthday song) - nct u (ft. taeyong, doyoung, jaehyun, lucas, xiaojun, jaemin, shotaro)

i actually really liked this, if we’re talking purely about the music (the mv is another thing....i won’t talk about that). the music was interesting all the way through and was full of unexpected twists. all the members did so well!!! but the members that really stood out to me in the mv and also just listening to the song were jaemin and xiaojun! they did so well and they nailed their parts so well!!! there’s just something very satisfying about jaemin’s rap in this song, and all of xiaojun’s parts suited him really well and it was nice to see him sing in a style that was different to the typical wayv style. also rapper jaehyun!!! his parts suited him so well and i’m so happy we got to see him do a rap-esque part hehe :) the only part i probably didn’t like was the part where there was that time-warp effect before the final chorus like that felt so out of place ... why is it there?? also where’s shotaro tho?? like i didn’t even hear him,,, if you’re gonna add a new member at least use him sm :/ | okay so i just watched the line distribution and jaemin has so little lines :((( shotaro doesn’t have many solo parts but has a lot of adlibs and honestly? good for him!! it’s really good for a debut!! doyong and lucas should’ve had more lines too :/ anyways overall i really love this song and i’m so excited to see the stages!!!

track 2: misfit - nct u (ft. johnny, taeyong, mark, hendery, jeno, yangyang, sungchan)

this is legit my favourite song so far it’s incredible!! when the song started i just started full-on vibing!! this song is so fun and has so much energy and i had no expectations at first but the track video blew me away, which made me so excited to hear the full song, and it did not disappoint :) everyone in this song SLAYED. i have nothing else to say except that because the raps were fire and each member pulled their verse off so well it continued to make me smile line after line after line. for sungchan’s debut, it was incredible to hear him spit fire like that and i am so excited to see how he grows as a rapper if he’s already this good at debut oh gosh. but my favourite part has to be mark’s second verse where the music cuts out and he keeps going and his rhythm actually speeds up once the music cuts. that blew my mind in the track video and still has the same effect on me listening to it again. the genius of cutting out the music is incredible and it adds so much not just to the rap but to the song overall. my only complaint for this song is that johnny got like...4 lines. cmon sm please give him lines he’s more than just a visual!! overall this song is something i really enjoyed and something that the members pulled off so well even though it’s so different and unexpected from nct :)

track 3: volcano - nct u (ft. taeyong, doyoung, jaehyun, winwin, jungwoo, lucas, mark) (aka nct 2018 boss unit)

what is going on in this song......at the beginning it gave me similar vibes to limitless but as i listened to more of the song, it kinda fell apart for me ;-; like the vocal parts were really good (jaehyun high note!!) and the rap parts were really good but they didn’t flow together as well as they should have, and it ended up feeling as if i was listening to the rap of one song and the vocals of another song :/ also where are sicheng’s parts?? i thought i just didn’t hear him but when i went to check all he has is like...2-3 adlibs?? why is he even in the song then it doesn’t even have choreo?? feels like boss all over again rip sicheng :’( 

track 4: light bulb - nct u (ft. taeyong, kun, doyoung, and sungchan)

wow this song...i was very fascinated by the member lineup at first, and then i heard the song and it all makes sense :) everything melds so well together, with ty and sungchan’s rapping pairing perfectly with kun and dy’s vocals, and there are kinda ‘pairs’? like ty and dy and sungchan and kun,, and their voices compliment each other so well aaaaaaa. the only part i felt weird about was the start when ty was rapping over the piano...the rhythm clashed a little but as the song went on it resolved itself thankfully. the vibes reminded me of yestoday and it’s a very different mood from the first 3 songs on the album so i’m kinda confused as to why they’ve put it as track 4 but oh well. sungchan showcased a different side of his rapping here and he’s really beginning to show himself as a very well rounded rapper so i’m actually super impressed but as expected from nct :) my favourite thing about this song has to be kun’s vocals tho. the first time you hear him in the song is when he harmonises with doyong and i tell you the way i Lost It. and every time he sang as sungchan rapped it blew my mind. and doyong and kun’s harmonies,,,, chef’s kiss. can you tell i really love this song aaaaaa okay end of ramble. i think overall i just really appreciate the change in pace of the album since the first 3 were very hype lol.

track 5: dancing in the rain - nct u (ft. taeil, johnny, yuta, kun, jaehyun, jungwoo, xiaojun, chenle)

ok this song blew my mind 🤯 firstly, can we talk about jaehyun and johnny rapping??????? i’m so happy that we got to hear them rap!! it was so beautiful :’) secondly, vocal kings!!! chenle high note!!  their voices sound so beautiful together and i’m so happy we got that in this song!! the vibes are also so pretty?? like a lofi jazzy vibe and honestly it feels like singin’ in the rain modern version and i am living :) the only minor issue i have is that because there are so many vocalists in the unit, some of them had really few lines :/ but i think they needed more people to create that effect in the chorus of a lot of people harmonising together, so we gain some we lose some i guess,, but wow i love this song so much can someone write a fic or make an mv based on this song pleaseeeeeeee i would love to see it :’) p.s. i listened to this song twice once on spotify and once on colour-coded lyrics (just to see who sang what) and the more i listen to it the more i love this song aaaaaaaaaa :)

track 6: interlude: past to present

ok this was interesting...i was so confused about the first part cos i couldn’t make sense of what was being narrated, but the second part is another story,,, it’s chock full of references - like there’s that one sound (idk how to describe it) but it’s in both the awaken the world interlude and the neo zone interlude, and the part after that is reminiscent of the punch intro thing...which is why it’s so interesting,,, would the theorists like to have a go? but honestly it was very interesting musically and very nct lmao...i have nothing left to say lol that’s it.

track 7: déjà vu - nct dream (OT7)

wow the vibes on this song are so fun!! this song really suits dream and i think it’s a fitting return for ot7 :) it’s got the playfulness of we go up with a bit more maturity which is very representative of dream’s current phase where they’re growing up but they’re still kids hehe :) i will complain about the line distribution again except everyone’s probably sick of hearing about it lol...but mark has a lot of lines and jeno and jaemin don’t sigh. the line distribution for the vocalists was really quite fair tho :) also renjun bridge!!!! it was so good!!! and haechan intro!!!! wow i love this song so much heh but my favourite part has to be the bgm,, like the dang dang sound that was in the bgm for the entire track really helps to push the song forward and adds a spring to the song that really makes it more playful and fun!! i’m super impressed by this as well since the track video didn’t make me that excited but now i really like it so i think this song was so fun :)

track 8: nectar - wayv (OT7)

let’s formally welcome nectar to the list of nct’s hoe anthems 😌 okay but that aside, i quite liked the song!! the intro was weird but once you get into the song it’s pretty okay!! it’s also slightly different from the wayv sound we’re used to but the members pulled it off well!! i love the bgm too hehe :) ten and sicheng!! i can finally hear them!! and it was so nice to hear them both sing aaaa. also wayv’s vocal line continue to astonish me...that’s the highest i’ve heard kun and dejun sing and it sound so good!!! the rap was fire too and lucas, yangyang and hendery have done it again, they sound so swag which really fits the vibe of the song!! i also love how most of the song is pretty low and starts pretty low but the vocals are such a complete contrast cos they’re so high and that really adds to the song!! i’m so wayv biased but i genuinely really do like this song and ‘gimme that nectar’ will be stuck in my head for the next 24 hours :/

track 9: music, dance - nct 127 (OT9)

this track is so hype 😳 and i enjoyed that so much!! what stood out to me more than anything else in this song was the bgm, and i love how they cut the music, yell “drop that beat!” and then the beat actually drops 🤯 also the bridge,,, a masterpiece...i thought we were gonna get a solid high note and the airy high note comes from nowhere and suddenly i’m so stunned 😳 also this album really is the return of rapper jaehyun huh :) it’s so nice to hear him rap again :) and this song is really satisfying in so many ways, like the rhythm is really good and the bass hits deep and the dance break music thing was so well timed and so well produced and oooooooh i like this track more than i expected :)) oh and ‘music, dance’ will be stuck in my head for the next 24 hours with ‘gimme that nectar’ :/

track 10: faded in my last song - nct u (ft. taeil, johnny, yuta, ten, lucas, renjun, haechan, jisung)

the way i was trying not to SCREAM throughout this song :’) IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL AAAAAA i mean it in the best way possible when i say this could be an ost it’s so beautiful :’) the VOCALS i nearly lost it when ten sang the pre chorus then nearly lost it when renjun sang the second pre chorus and then almost completely lost it during the bridge (especially cos haechan and taeil) holy moly that was a journey :’) also johnny and yuta’s rap style and lucas’ lower tone really fit so well with the song, like it didn’t take away from the sad vibes of the song but it added to the mellowness of the overall song. and can we just take a moment to talk about park jisung’s rap??? it was so short but he nailed it!!!! this entire song was a masterpiece because all their voices fit perfectly together and complement each other so well it just makes this song shine in a different way??? i have so many things that i wanna say about this song but i’m internally screaming so i’m basically incoherent lol. one thing i will say though is the bgm is so pretty and the piano is so nice :’) (also p.s. idk why but this song lowkey gives me got7 vibes but in the best way possible)

track 11: from home - nct u (ft. taeil, yuta, kun, doyoung, renjun, haechan, chenle)

i’m crying........i’m actually crying.....can they not come for me like this..........this song is so beautiful o m g :”) hearing them sing in their native languages about home is so moving?? like it hits a spot and suddenly my eyes are sweating :”) and the way that the transition from one language to another is so smooth and seamless?? like renjun and chenle are singing in chinese and suddenly yuta pops in with a line of japanese and i completely lost it lmaoooooo. and the way they all come together in the bridge is so beautiful, and taeil’s high note after!!!! and the bgm of this song suited it so well, it allowed you to focus on the vocals and still adds to the overall mood and atmosphere of the song, plus at the start it’s a bit muffled out as if it’s being played on an old record and then it becomes unmuffled and the sound is so bright :) and the way that this song sounds a little bittersweet?? i swear when the mv comes out and when i read the translations i will cry even more i’m not even ready and we still have a week to go. this was the song i was looking forward to most and honestly? it didn’t disappoint at all :)

track 12: from home | korean version - nct u (ft. taeil, yuta, kun, doyoung, renjun, haechan, chenle)

it’s just as beautiful, but with less tears lol :) there isn’t really much to say, it still flows just as well in korean as it did in 3 languages, so i think sm just wanted there to be a version that was completely in korean since nct are a korean group lol.

track 13: make a wish (birthday song) | english version - nct u (ft. taeyong, doyoung, jaehyun, lucas, xiaojun, jaemin, shotaro)

well this is interesting....the english version of the song sounds a bit like a hoe anthem (only a bit!!!) so i’m curious about the lyrics to the korean version o_O also i find it a little strange how they say ‘i can do this all day’ in the korean version but say ‘i can do this all night’ in the english version,,, like what’s the difference?? i literally don’t know why they did that but oh well :) still a great song hehe :)

overall, it’s a really interesting album!! it’s a little different from what i expected, but i still really love it!! i think the songs will grow onto me more as i listen to the album more, so yea :))

This was so lovely, sweet, funny and i can't really cope right now :D Your characterisation was spot on and this au in general was so good! And the thought of Kirishima and Bakugou sharing their assigned reading is doing funny things to my heart! 

This is so so so so cute!! I just love the progression of their relationship from emailed library notifications to post its to face to face talking and texts.... it's just so so adorable. Plus the idea itself is genius! And I've never seen a college AY that talks about library stuff like this and it's just a really cool concept and a really good idea...!Also, all the tiny details you wove into this really made it as good as it was: the inclusion of so many characters, Tsuyu's livestreams, Endeavor and Monoma's humiliation, the humour, the tododeku making out between the shelves and literally not giving a single fuck.... everything was funny and cute and the ENDING!! The ending was super well executed and wonderful and cute and I absolutely loved it. All of it. Thank you so much for writing this because it's seriously hecking amazing <3 Oh my gosh this is my favorite college AU fic! I really love everything about it. Your characterization of Bakugou especially was on point, very good, A+ LOVED IT 

Oh my goodness this was so freaking cute? Bakugou's attempts at flirting going right over kirishima's head is so in line with these two boys I'm yellinggggg thank u sm for writing this fic!!! u really made their college feel like a real living breathing place especially with the addition of all the meme pages!! 

I wrote One Available Copy (OAC) with the goal of making people laugh and smile, and to hear that I had done that made more happy than I could have imagined! I already love this and I can't wait to read more! I love how much research and knowledge you put into this au because it just shows how much you care about writing and the characters. A truly incredible first chapter with all the romance, humour and action any good story has. I loved it!

Did I mention that Wedlock is the most research-intensive fic that I’ve ever done? I swear I did the same amount of research (and still am doing research) for this story, as I did for my thesis, and to know that it wasn’t for nothing, and that people appreciated it, made me weep with joy. 

So this is fantastic. Like, excellent start. Established Tododeku? Awesome magical period romance? Actual Magic Frog Tsuyu? Appearances from numerous lovable minor characters? You are on a roll, my good sir. So I've noticed this trend in most fantasy and royalty AUs that feature Tododeku, and that is the trend of Commoner/Servant!Izuku being shipped with Royalty!Shouto. In light of that, can i just say that it is SO refreshing to see a story where they don't have to get around a weird societal imbalance of power in order to properly fall in love? It's beautiful and wonderfully uncomplicated, while still having the court politics that make stories like these so delightfully intriguing.But yeah, you've started really strong and I went back through your stuff to realize that I also read and loved your college AU, so needless to say, I'm super excited for this fic! Izuku and Shouto's dynamic is so wonderful in this, and I can't wait to see where it goes!

My Neighbour Totoro? I think you mean My Neighbour Todoroki (I'll walk myself out). Hums loudly at the mention of glinting eyes watching Midoriya enter Yuuei Academy. Who could that have been? All Might isn't really size appropriate to be slinking around there after all. And just what is Todoroki up to? Midoriya has a lot of interesting questions, thats for sure. I hope he gets the answers to all of them, because they're making me wonder too. Having the Todoroki's as the fire department will certainly link Shouto to finding the necessary evidence Midoriya's searching for in regards to the old Yuuei fires where All might was spotted, and I bet Endeavour has a huge role to play in that too. I wouldn't be surprised if the fire was instigated in an attempt to successfully lure All might out, although I may be stretching the theory bar a little on that one. I just hope Endeavour hasn't forced Todoroki the impossible task for trying to track All Might down once and for all. But, he seems genuinely scared of Midoriya's "haunted" place, or maybe he's just scared of Midoriya? What's going on Todoroki, communicate with us here. I hope Midoriya doesn't get lost trying to track shouto home. Good luck boys! Until next time!

'Somewhere in the distance, there's the sharp trill of birdsong, followed closely by the frantic flapping of wings, the sounds a concert accompanied by the occasional whisper of a breeze rattling the leaves and branches of the forest, and his own discrete pants for air.' Okay just gotta say that line is absolutely gorgeous and I can picture it perfectly in my head. There are so many descriptions throughout this chapter that are just SO PRETTY!!! FIRST CONTACT WITH THE CRYPTID AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! This was adorable?!?! All Might is a sweetheart through and through! And Izuku fanboying? Oh my dear boy. (Izuku concerned for Shouto? oh my aching heart. BUT IZUKU THINKING ABOUT HOW PRETTY SHOUTO IS IS THE BEST THING EVER OKAY) Inko! Please take care;;;;;; don't worry your mother too much Izuku!Now, onto Aizawa. He cares a lot about his students, yeah........ but is that all? Hmmm? Do you know more than you let on, Aizawa? *eyes emoji* Could there be more teachers behind the scenes, helping All Might out? The plot thickens.

That would require finding said clearing, Shouto, and all things considered that sounds like quite the challenge. People often don’t remember directions well when rushing around.I wonder why Shouto wants to meet All Might so badly. Is his home life anywhere near as bad as it is in canon? Perhaps hopes All Might will help rescue his mom from wherever Enji stashed her.

AND TOTORO MAKES HIS APPEARANCE - i mean All Might. He's like the local friendly bigfoot. Bless him and his accident-selfie. Midoriya had such a rough tumble - it sounded both super painful and really dangerous - I'm glad he got saved in time. Todoroki ironically lead Midoriya to the clearing by running away from him to begin with - I see you trying to benefit yourself and your goals in this invitation. I worry Midoriya won't be able to find the clearing since he woke up there and was carried away from there - without a definitive route. Todoroki might not be as patient when he realises Midoriya can't find it for him. Aizawa's behaviour concerns me. Is he in contact/affiliation with All might? I feel like he knows. Until next time!

I honestly did not expect to get this initial comment, much less speculation about PotW, so I was absolutely floored, when the speculation began to come in with later chapters, and I must say that it gave me so so much motivation to keep on writing!

Man so much of this is so Ghibli; Izuku leaning out of the window, the tiny house on the edge of a giant forest, Shouto appearing in the dusk to give an ominous message, only to retreat to his mansion home across the moor (okay the moor is Gothic lit but STILL WHAT A MOOD). He has the biggest combo of San & Haku going on and I dig it so hard.

You write EXACTLY as a Ghibli movie is animated and just Wow It’s gorgeous

This is absolutely gorgeous. You capture the atmosphere so well. I’ve always wanted a regular high school au for these kids and while it isn’t the main focus, I really enjoy that aspect of the story. The plot so far is amazing, just the right combination of Ghibli and BNHA that it creates a new story entirely its own. I love every moment of this and am excited to see how Todoroki and Midoriya’s relationship evolves.

Studio Ghibli is one of the biggest influences in my life in terms of media, and I desperately wanted to do justice to it through PotW, so these comments literally made me cry from happiness.

EXO: Suho! So i ship you with Suho. i feel like you two would be the most compatible together! He’d find your awkwardness cute. He’d giggle and want to just scoop you up in his arms because wow, very cute and loveable. Suho would love to spill out his greatest puns and jokes on you. You two would truly appreciate and admire each other, so head over heels for each other. Suho would be the type to surprise you with gifts, messages, date nights, etc. and each surprise always makes your heart do little happy flips. He’s the type to be interested in all your likes and dislikes, he’d love to talk with you for hours about anything and nothing at all. You two would most likely be able to bring out the silliest and softest side of each other. It is definitely all affection and feels with you two. chapter 5 really left me numb and speechless. nothing prepared me for that, you woke up and decided you'd ruin us all today. but okay hear me out, THE BEAUTY OF RECKLESS. (this is me simping for your cute ass and your god-tier writing skills so i'm sorry if the long message bothers you)

but reckless is so heartwrengchingly beautiful. five chapters in and we already have such strong settings and a stable background of all the characters, minus the mysteries of gojo's past we've yet to discover. if i remember correctly, gojo can't go against his mother because he did something wrong in the past and she's using it against him? the manipulation of the characters to tie people up to what they want struck me so much. usually i only read fanfiction for the smut (which you're also an absolute goddess at writing btw) so reckless wasn't really my cup of tea. but after chapter one, i kept moving to the next, and the next, and now i'm left heartbroken after chapter five. i don't think i've ever read something as painful as this before which says a lot because i'm a SUCKER for angst. suki, the way you write, you never fail to blow me away...

i thought reckless was going to be a happy story and i still hope it is, but after chapter five, i'm super excited to see where you'll take us with this. y/n herself is such a complex, human character that is conflicted by her own feelings and goals. honestly, i thought she was pretty annoying that she doesn't give gojo a chance and locks up immediately like gurl...just let him speak ffs, but i'm not actually mad at her because you made us understand her perspective. y/n came from a family background in which love wasn't really what she felt, rather a sense of obligation to provide so she would find a spot. again, this could just be my analysis and i could be wrong, but the way you wrote and pieced them all together as if they were actual human beings going through every day conflicts made me root for the characters more. i still want them to make more babies and fall in love, but now you've given us so much more to look forward to. this is my first time wishing that y/n gets more than love. i wouldn't say she was abused like gojo was (FUCK MAMA GOJO, FUCK PAPA GOJO, FUCK EVERYONE ELSE) but she has her own internal struggles that as someone who preferred to do things my own way because i'm "independently strong" i could see myself in her. the struggles are the same and i was crying a waterfall before i knew it. OVER A FANFIC! ONLY YOU, SUKI, ONLY YOU.

i don't know how you manage to tug at our emotions so effortlessly as if writing the story is an instant way for our hearts to be swayed and pulled side to side, but you are so good at this. i swear. i've been following you for a while now, watched you grow and i'm really proud of you. i hope you know that. i also wish people would stop being so rude to you, you're like the sweetest person here with how you're so patient and welcoming to everyone :(

and suki, gojo...your portrayal of him is CHEF'S KISS, never seen before, really fucked with my mind type of portrayal. he's so well-written and feels so real. i love how he's a kind hearted person but can't care for y/n the way he wants to because his bitch ass mom is getting in his way. the scene over him going against his mother shaped his personality and my respect for him deepened, though i still wish he didn't have to say all those. i know his intentions were good and its his way of "keeping us and the baby safe" but he made me cry so bad i actually felt chest pains. he knew where to hurt us and the way he lied by saying we seduced him and he'll turn the whole world against us when what he wanted to say is the exact opposite really broke me. i'm starting to think that there's more to everyone now than what you've originally shown which makes everything sm better, can't wait for the next update. 

gojo saying "he can't defeat his mother, but he knows you can. you will."

the trust he has for her and the way he believes in her capabilities, i want me a baby daddy gojo 😩 now after seeing the teaser for chapter 6, my theory is that y/n and gojo are going to be the most powerful, baddest couple. king and queens. i don't think y/n will forgive him that easily so i'm hoping gojo explains his side and she listens (y/n please for the love of god hear the poor man out, he's a victim in all this) so they can communicate better. but honestly? you'll do great. i know whatever you post will be so amazing that we will be, once again, left speechless. reckless is so beautiful and painful yet it makes me root for them more. i can't wait for y/n's revenge arc and to see how she and gojo will take over the world someday.
