How did you know my favourite Star Wars Guy that everybody forgot about?!
existence of the word gormless implies that it is possible to be gormful (word here meaning intelligent or wise) like + follow for more linguistic knowledge

Warhammer 40k: Wrath & Glory RP #51
It's time for the final combat. The place is huge and our heroes are separated at the beginning of the battle. All our heroes deal with killing off rabble while moving towards the wolves on the field. Gorm shouts at Uffe to back away from Rolf as clearly Rolf is intent on having Uffe. Uffe replies that he believes Harald is not beyond saving, but he does back off, exchanging blows with Rolf. Rolf shoots and crits on Uffe, causing him to have to stop his retreat. Meanwhile the tech priest closes in on Saef letting him know that "no one has to die" and shoots at him.
Rolf closes in on Uffe, cornering him, Harald hot at his heel. Gorm rushes through to get to his brothers in time. Rolf reaches with his hand towards Uffe, but Gorm catches him in time, cutting the hand off with one swing, shouting at Uffe to finish the job. Uffe blasts Rolf at close range and the man falls down. Immediately Harald rushes Uffe and brings him down with one hit from his thunder hammer.
Gimlet helps Inpax, who has woken, down from Gorm’s back and to her feet. She is disoriented but ready to fight. Gorm asks Saef to open the channel to Harald and pleads for his brother to step down, attempting to make Harald realize that Rolf wasn’t himself. Luckily he agrees, and together they start closing in on the tech priest (this involves some jet-pack action). Saef and the tech-priest have been exchanging shots, and Saef isn’t doing very good, so Gimlet goes to help him. The tech-priest, upon noticing her ally fall, suddenly shoots at the machine that she has set up in the room, filling the room with smoke.
While everyone is focusing on her, Saef and Gimlet suddenly sense something moving about near Rolf’s corpse. Gimlet goes to investigate, and finds a small black mass, moving from Rolf towards Uffe (this is reported to Gorm who tells them to stop it). Shooting at it would mean shooting at Uffe, so Gimlet tries to grab it, and when that doesn’t work he stabs it with one of his anti-psychic arrows. The creature clinging to it, Gimlet takes it away from unconscious Uffe, and aims to shoot it at the the tech-priest but at the last moment the creature slips away from him. Saef goes to chase the creature down, blasting at it with smite and taking hold of it with bare hands.
Meanwhile, the Wolves and Z47r have cornered X56r, and manage to bring her down with little difficulty. They notice also a newcomer, the strange Necron from before appears through a portal on top of some ruins to look over the scene. Gorm even manages to get a glimpse inside the portal and he sees something that should not be… a body of a Primarch long since dead.
The Necron suddenly appears in front of Saef and demands that he hand over the creature. Saef sees no other way out so he does. The Necron stuffs it into a glass jar. Our heroes try to stop the Necron leaving with the black blob, including breaking the jar, and then Gimlet shooting at the creature with his anti-psyker arrow which dissolves the creature. The Necron hops then to X56r’s corpse (which Z47r is busy hacking to pieces), takes something from her and then he hops back to the ruins.
Gorm demands to know what the Primarch was doing in the Necron’s lair and the Necron comments that it was something he got in exchange for something, and perhaps he could part with it, if there was something the Imperium would give in turn. Gorm asks the Necron his name, and he introduces himself as Trazyn the Collector. Gorm vows that one day he’ll have his head, and Trazyn laughs, taking off his head and tossing it to Gorm’s feet before growing another one and disappearing.
The battle now won, our heroes need to head out. Saef had gotten a text message in the middle of the fight and now checks it out to see that Rat has let them know that Corrida is on their way. It doesn’t appear that leaving the way they came is an option, so our heroes decide to go deeper and blow a hole in the ruins. So that’s what they do. While he’s at it Saef saves Z47r from being left under some rocks and loses his arm in turn.
Relevant people having checked into the infirmary it’s time to deal with the immediate aftermath of the fight. First Gorm has to figure out which ones of his brothers are clones and which are not. There is one way to check for sure, to use the Claw of the Morkai he has received from Carl to extract the gene-seed, as a clone’s progenial gland would not be fully formed yet. Unfortunately once it has been taken out, there’s no saving the body. So while others have some business on Dew Mountain, Gorm retrieves Harald’s Chaos-corrupted corpse from Orchard Mountain and extracts the gene-seed. It turns out the Harald that they picked up from the Necron temple is a clone. There’s nothing to be done, so Uffe and Gorm spend few weeks with their brother and then challenge him to a ritual battle where he meets his end. Gorm also does the same procedure on the unconscious Snorri and Uffe in his care. For Snorri he screws up the procedure so that will forever remain a mystery (GM note: the unconscious one was the real one), for Uffe he gets confirmation that the one he’s been traveling with is the real one, what a joy.
Saef wakes up with a new cybernetic arm, apparently courtesy of Z47r. Rat has made her way back to the ship with Eden with no problems. She and Saef discuss her future, which ends with her leaving with Ynmarg to join the Ynnari. (they part on bad terms when Rat learns what will happen to Eden, but more on that later) Saef also takes Ahram to Dew Mountain and lets his soul go.
Gimlet goes to meet up Inpax in the infirmary and though she is still having a hard time coming to terms with her lot in life, she is going to try. She and Gimlet agree to ask the AdMechs to perform the surgery on her to disguise her again, and then Gimlet will drop her off on a planet where she will live her life with a different name and a different face. She thanks Gimlet for his assistance and asks him not to tell Lu Yan what became of her.
That leaves only the matter of the virus. Z47r has been attempting to get in contact with Inpax, and when our heroes meet up with him, he explains that using Inpax, he could get the virus out of the people with minor risks. Using Eden lowers to risk considerably, and Z47r is willing to work with the AI, only for this, so the remnants of Eden are handed over to him (some still remaining within Vivek of course). The surgeries are all successes and Z47r leaves for Triplex Phall to find the remaining people with the viruses in them.
All of these take few weeks, but then it’s time for our friends to part. Gorm and Uffe leave for Fenris, with Vivek. Saef leaves to join the Formund Scorpions and Gimlet goes to report his mission to High Inquisitor Marbray. But more on that in the epilogue.

So I need to know (for fluffiness reasons) how the ROs would react to cotton candy+MC? (like, having cotton candy for the first time)
oh jeez it’s been so long since I’ve had cotton candy, now I want some qq
Cotton candy doesn’t exist in GoRM, but it does for the sake of this ask!
–
Qiu is highly skeptical when you give it to him and grunts about how its mostly just air. Then you force some into his mouth and his tune changes. Though the two of you are supposed to be enjoying the summer festival, he keeps circling back to the cotton candy vendor for another huge cloud of sweet. He always shares with you though, so don’t be too frustrated with him.
An recoils a little bit at how it dissolves in her mouth without a trace. She also dislikes how sticky it makes her fingers. However, she soon finds appeal in having you feed it to her, so she deems it an alright snack.
Min He enjoys watching it being made more than she does eating it. The way it spins and collects sugar strands is mesmerizing, so the both of you end up just staring at the vendor do all sorts of tricks as they spin it into shape. She particularly loves it when they do animal shapes. Probably doesn’t eat too much though.
Kaski scarfs the thing down so fast you wonder if you even bought it. He devours the next two in a similar fashion with a smug look of satisfaction. You end up holding the fourth one at an arm’s length from him so you can enjoy it yourself without having to deal with his incorrigible sweet tooth.
Xinyi loves the aesthetics of it. It’s a cloud on a stick, and it’s sweet, and it’s in such soft colors. Unfortunately, it’s probably too sweet for him, so even though he made the vendor give him the biggest one, you’re eating most of it. He does his best to pretend like he isn’t shoving responsibility onto you though and picks at it every now and then.
Hiemi listens to you describe to her and has you ghost her fingers over the fluff so she can feel it for herself. Her expression is extremely confused when it dissolves in her mouth, because how is it so empty but sweet? It’s a weird sensation, but not entirely unpleasant, and she ends up eating the whole thing without realizing it.
Go Ro doesn’t care for sweets and doesn’t blink when you hand it to him. He probably won’t eat it until you remind him to, and at that point, reluctantly plucks it into his mouth. The bottom of his eye twitches, which tells you clearly how he felt about that, but he says nothing about it. He seems to enjoy annoying you by sticking it onto your lips while you’re talking though, so maybe that’s a win.
Chun acts like its no big deal, shrugging when you buy it, but you definitely caught her staring longingly at the vendor and its customers earlier. She eventually buys all the flavors by the end of the night, probably not even noticing how much she ate herself. She still denies liking it that much, though, stubborn as she is.
Spider remarks how similar it looks to cobwebs and he’s clearly weirded out when you eat it. He tries it after you egg him too, but he does it by biting into it, which naturally causes it to dissolve before it really touches his teeth, which freaks him out more. He’s kind of fascinated by it, but probably doesn’t like it much.

the expanded universe gave us incredibly minor characters with great eyegrabbing names, such as Gorm the Dissolver, a cyborg bounty hunter that has survived for generations by replacing his organic components with other people’s body parts and his mechanical ones with droid parts. i remember nothing about the story he was in, but I have remembered Gorm the Dissolver for over a decade.
