i watched Gorillaz' weekend 1 performance at Coachella last night bc it's the closest i'll come to seeing them in concert(for now, i hope they tour again this year) definitely watching next week if it's as lit as last night. here's some of my favorite moments from it:

●Damon's outfit(and his tattoos! i didn't even know the man had tattoos?)

●the energy of their bassist(Seye Adelekan)

●how professional and fun the choir were

●Damon going into the crowd and security having to keep a close eye on him lmaoo

●Thundercat and the band vibing during Cracker Island

●Peven Everett, Bootie Brown and Jamie Principle giving their ALL(and getting nothing in return🥲)

●Damon trying his best to get the youngins to bounce during Andromeda(i was bouncing in spirit)

●The cute lil band animations for Skinny Ape that alluded to the Times Square debut performance

●Damon screaming APEAPEAPEAPEAPEAPE and progressively losing his coherence

●Damon's keyboard work on the Tormenta bridge/outro section

●the 'for Missy' before Melancholy Hill(and Melancholy Hill in general🥹)

●the choir member giving her ALL during Kids With Guns

●How equally drunk Damon and Slowthai were

●Del Tha Funkee Homosapien's appearances(still don't know why they couldn't do Captain Chicken smh)
