A quick road trip with my ladies. During this pandemic a lot of places are closed. Well it’s hurricane season too. So in the spirit of social distancing, please be safe outside. We went to a couple of places that were right up my alley. @cochon_nola @jackrosenola , @sazerachouse @vesselnola @frenchtruck we’re a couple of the places we went. They oysters Cochon were delicious and I dipped everything I had in the sauce (including that Mac and cheese). The video of it is in my story. Due to the late hour and not having a reservation, we weren’t able to eat a Jack Rose. But I will say, the ambiance screams date and girls night . The cocktails were good @thebayoubar. But I want to come back to have the rooftop dinner. The menu was very inticing to me. The Sazerac house was fun. Very informative on bitters and bourbons. They also give samples of whiskey, rum and gin. French Truck coffee is just delicious and that’s it. They make a good cup of coffee. The Vessel is an old church with the best happy hour. $6 cocktails , great music, and a nice cheese plate. The fresh preserves and candied pecans. Cute concept of turning a church into a bar. Also craft bar.
