you know what the best part about the vampire diaries season 6 finale was; that despite Damon's infinite love for Elena, he wasn't going to kill Bonnie over it, for a few reasons... one being that if Elena knew that killing Bonnie was the only way for her to live, and Damon did it; she would never ever forgive him and two, Damon and Bonnie have a friendship like no other. She's sacrificed her life for Damon, for Elena, for Caroline, for everyone; and Damon knew this, and he knew that it was his turn to sacrificed someone he loved. that's a beautiful kind of love. last nights episode summed up all the love those characters have for each other on that show. I'm so happy with how the finale went. we'll miss you elena
