hello! i'm planning on trying for g-rosso s4 in march, and i would just like to ask more about your guide post for ticketing, about buying through a proxy and bypassing jp phone number verification? how would that work?
thank you for your help 😭
Proxy
This is very regional-dependent: I just search for "japan proxy" on facebook (more reliable than instagram because old people website), check their history and look for "ticketing" in the description (filter those that only buy goods or just personal travellers with no on-site agents).
You give them the show's information and they'll give you a quotation. If you agree with the price, make a deposit and they'll proceed with the lottery and refund if it fails. Some companies take a service charge regardless if the lottery succeeds.
My proxy mentioned eplus's lottery ticket will have the buyer's name printed. The G-rosso I remember is not that strict with checking ids, so I'm not too worried. More after my visit.
You'll need a prxoy if you buy through eplus (= online ticketing sites) whether or not you're joining the lottery. I used a proxy that handled everything, but there's also proxies that only handle the phone verification part. You get to register an account with your own name.
Phone verification: Echoing other posts: You need to make a call to eplus's number. Other people suggested using an 050 IP Phone or buying a Japanese SIM card from Hanacell or Mobal. But IP phones might be banned and the SIM cards only work within Japan so I'm not sure how it works either...
Redeeming the ticket: Remind the proxy to choose "pick-up at convenience store" instead of delievery, either Family Mart or 7-11 is fine. Eplus will send you a redemption code via email two weeks before the show and you can print the ticket from the convenience store machine once you land in Japan.
edit: I just realize the whole exchange happened online unlike actual goods that need to be shipped, so maybe it's not as region-specific as I thought...
Experience with S3:
Lottery: You will only be considered for one showing and you have up to three choices. You can't pick the seats, so just pick out the date and time.
Pretty much everyone on my twitter tl (jp fans) failed the Premium round, but managed to score in the General round. We reckoned it was simply because there are just too few Premium seats (38 x 3 rows = 114 seats). Some General seats are still available as of today, except the first and final showing.
The consideration of whether you MUST need the first 3 rows or you're fine sitting a bit back in the first block: If Row A-C is a must, I'd choose a less popular date and time. Not the first or final showing and Satuday rather than Sunday. For S4, I'm kinda debating if I should even bother because of the odds would be even greater now the Jeramie fans are in the race too. Though, S4 has 16 days and S3 only 9 days. I could only speculate how eplus's lottery system works and there'd be different stats maths based on that with ticket types but i digress
twitter tickets: I don't see anyone reselling Premium seats in the first week, but listings from the general round showed up at an average rate. I am seeing S3's last weekend, so the general sale opens before my weekend's seating reveal, so I grab a ticket just to be safely seated more upfront than general sale. I am cheap and waiting for last-minute (and premium) resells after the redemption date and closer to the show.
same-day tickets: The website states there will be no same-day free-seating tickets. I suppose they mean there will be no discount, but if seats are available, you should be able to buy one from the convenience store or ask the staff. I'll confirm this on-site.
three rounds of tickets:
Permium lottery
General lottery
General sale
(ticket redemption date: 2 weeks before showing)
Schedule for Feb & March:

Best Mobile SIM Plans
With big carriers like AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile offering an abundance of plans, it can be difficult to select a plan aligned with your usage needs. Prepaid plans tend to offer cheaper cellular data packages and no contract or credit checks.
For instance, Tello offers unlimited calls and texts on the T- best mobile sim plans network, plus free hotspot data for $25/month. However, its data speeds slow down after 35GB.
1.       Eiotclub
Eiotclub provides high-quality network coverage with an eSIM that is embedded in your device. It also offers a range of features and benefits, such as advanced privacy and security protection, tethering device management and real-time data usage monitoring. You can also easily create shared data plans and name your SIM cards to clearly identify their purpose for easy management. Additionally, the company’s app allows you to view your data usage anytime and anywhere. The company also has excellent customer support and competitive pricing.
2.       Mint Mobile
If you want a plan that’s prepaid and based on the T-Mobile network, then you should definitely check out Mint Mobile. The carrier is known for great phone support, solid download speeds, and a variety of plans to suit any data usage needs. It also offers a seven-day money back guarantee for new customers, making it one of the safest prepaid wireless providers to try.
The company offers a basic 5GB plan for only $15 per month but this rate is only available if you pre-pay 12 months of service upfront. Anyone who is able to do this will enjoy one of the lowest monthly rates in the industry.
However, Mint Mobile’s T-Mobile network is not as good as Tello’s in terms of reliability and speed, and its unlimited plan only offers 35 GB of high-speed data before your speeds are slowed. It’s still a great option for low to mid-data users, though. Mint Mobile also offers a family plan for a lower per-month price.
3.       Lycamobile
Lycamobile is a popular choice among consumers looking for a flexible mobile service provider that can suit their data and international calling needs. It offers a wide range of 12-month plans with blazingly fast 5G capabilities, as well as affordable international call add-ons to help you stay connected.
It also allows you to bring your own unlocked device and keep your existing phone number hassle-free. The plans come with various monthly data amounts and are loaded with benefits like free international calling to over 100 countries. Additionally, you can earn $5 free credit when you refer friends to mobile sim plans!
In terms of customer support, Lycamobile has a low Better Business Bureau rating. However, its user-friendly website and app make it easy to manage your account and plan. If comprehensive customer support is a priority, then it’s best to opt for major U.S. carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, which offer a wider range of eSIM-compatible plans and extensive network coverage.
4.       US Mobile
US Mobile is a budget-friendly MVNO with competitive plans that use Verizon and TMobile networks. They offer talk and text and international data roaming (Canada and Mexico) as add-ons to their unlimited plans.
They offer family plans with by-the-gig data, as well as a low-data plan at an affordable price point. The Unlimited Premium plan includes a staggering amount of high-speed data, and they even include a hotspot for their most expensive plan!
US Mobile's feature that sets them apart from other MVNOs is their ability to transfer plans between their network partners. This is a rare option, and allows for an excellent level of flexibility. For example, if you activate on the Warp 5G network but find that T-Mobile offers better coverage in your area, you can easily switch to the TMobile network with just a few clicks in their online dashboard. This is a great benefit for families that want to switch networks and save money.

...Is Edelgard being written in a male gaze-y way a hot take...? Like, look at her cipher cards. She's very clearly filling a "cute girl who calls me teacher" need. Like, play CF with M!Byleth and I guarantee Edeleth starts looking grosser and worse.
They have no comment to those Cipher cards, or the boobs-and-butt pose in the Premium Arrange II artwork, or the various modifications to her designs in Heroes alts (boob armor, a more human-looking Hegemon), and whenever they talk about AG it's always how she's a poor tortured trauma victim...whereas if you stop looking at her as a real person with real trauma and start looking at her as a collection of graphical and voice assets then everything that happens to her in AG is blatant fetish fuel. She even has a brief panty/underwear shot in the final cutscene! Male FE characters are never framed that way, even when placed in similar circumstances; contrast, say, Lyon in Sacred Stones or Takumi in Conquest.
I do think there's a lot of hostility to this reading though, because it exposes the reality that Edelgard was always designed to appeal to straight men, with F/F Edeleth as an incidental byproduct of the writers not wanting to bother with writing two different scripts for certain story scenes. For straight male Edelstans it's undercutting all their Very Serious walls of text by calling them horny - and worse, just as horny as they accuse Dimitri's (female) fans of being, the horror! On the other hand, well...
I'm going to have to word this very carefully, because I can absolutely see someone screencapping this out of context to call me a transphobe, but I have noticed that a fair number of the lesbian Edelstans active on Tumblr are specifically trans lesbians. I find this noteworthy, as trans lesbians are still partially within the designated demographic for Edelgard's sexual appeal in that they are also AMAB people (whom the male gaze is designed around) who are attracted to women. As such, they're more likely to be aware of how the games write and frame Edelgard as a sexual object for the player, and thus resent when people suggest that straight men are the intended recipients of her in that way because on some level they understand that too. It's easy for someone like me to take note of this because I also have a unique relationship with the male gaze, being AMAB but not attracted to women. I'm therefore aware when a piece of media is trying to tell me that I should find a female character attractive...but I'm not feeling anything. Quite a few Edeleth scenes feel this way, and that goes for both genders of Byleth equally. Edelgard may appeal to some queer women, but she was not designed for queer women, and as a queer person I cannot call her good representation.
Note that that's not even commenting upon her politics or her morality or anything like that; it's purely an observation based on her role in Houses's Avatar dating sim - and its weird extension into Hopes, where she's still inexplicably drawn to Byleth and is only the leader whose ending changes (for the better, naturally) if you recruit Byleth.

It’s a busy month!
I have not shared a personal update for some time, it has been quite a busy month! I am working on a big design project for my uncle’s 60th birthday celebration. There are about 50 guests coming and he asked me to make seating cards that will be placed on the tables, and also a seating plan which offers an overview of all the tables. Since he is really into gardening, he asked that the tables have flower names instead of numbers. He picked some of his favorite flowers and my job was to find images of these flowers and use them to create the card designs. I really put my freepik premium membership to good use! It was a lot of work, and the cards are still not done, they have been printed on fancy linen-structured paper, but they will also get a frame out  of sturdy colored paper, and I have yet to make and print the headline. But I thought I could share a digital version of how I imagine the final look to be.
Tumblr media
The headline reads “Dear birthday guests, find your seats here!” And, as you might guess, Tisch means table. I really like how they turned out and my uncle is thrilled, that’s what matters! The celebration will be held on September 3rd. My sister will be arriving with her family from England a few days early so we can spend more time together as a family, which is really nice! I still have to assemble an outfit, since it will be a formal event (exciting! I have not worn a fancy dress in over 15 years). To de-stress, I have been playing Anno 1800 and I am making my own mods for the game now, which is great fun! I have not shared any publicly yet though, as most are WIP (you know how I am all about WIPs! 😆) and I am still new to the process. However, I do have some new ideas for Sims 3 patterns, after discovering there is a discord channel where you can tell an AI to generate any image you want. It’s magical! It’s called Midjourney, is currently in beta, and you get 25 free images that you can generate using text prompts, but what is most wonderful is that you can look at thousands of images generated by other users! It’s just stunning to see what kind of art AI makes, it’s sometimes so different from what a human would make. I hope I’ll have more time for sims-related things next month. Take care, everyone, I hope that you are all well 💜

Hanoi, Vietnam
Day 165 – Luang Prabang to Hanoi, Vietnam
I spent my final morning in Luang Prabang at Joma Café, a delicious bakery/café that my uncle Alan had recommended, run by a Canadian expat! I was surprised (and very excited) that the café served Canada’s famous Nanaimo Bar, and picked up one to have a ‘taste of home’ along with my coffee. I tucked into a cozy booth for several hours, doing research and bookings for the final 5 weeks of my trip, including Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangkok and Japan.
In the late afternoon, I packed up my bag and headed to the town centre to hire a Tuk Tuk to take me to the airport. At this point in Southeast Asia, I had become pretty used to negotiating a price when taking a Tuk Tuk, and agreed upon a price with the driver. However, he ended up demanding a higher price at the airport, after we had arrived. Even after months of travel, I was still never quite sure what to do in these situations, which occasionally arose. Given the increased charge that the driver demanded was little more than 50c Canadian, it felt petty to argue over such a small amount. At the same time, the whole practice also felt dishonest, and I struggled with it in principle – particularly wondering in the back of my mind whether I was a target of arbitrary price increases because I was a woman travelling alone. Irritated but not wanting to argue, I grudgingly paid the full amount and headed into the airport to catch my flight to Hanoi.
After a short flight to the east, I touched down in Vietnam just as the sun was setting. Having secured my e-visa to the country in advance, I sailed through customs and into the arrivals hall, where I had pre-arranged an airport transfer to take me into the old town of the city. While I generally preferred to take public transit or hail a tuk-tuk when backpacking, I had become cautious with my transportation when arriving at airports after dark. From my research on Hanoi, I had heard that taxi scams are unfortunately common, where certain drivers are paid by hotels and hostels to drive unwitting passengers to the wrong location, or charge excessive fares, to the point where a passenger would need to go to an ATM, or pay in foreign currency. In the communication I had received in advance from my hostel in Hanoi, I had also been fully briefed on possible scams in transit, and chose to pre-pay for a transfer to avoid the worry. I had also purchased a new Vietnamese SIM card in the airport, so that I could ensure I could follow my route to the old town city.
As my ride pulled away from the airport, we were almost immediately surrounded by scooters – hundreds of them! Weaving in and out of traffic, the drivers leaned heavily on their horns as they navigated their scooters along the road - carrying everything from tall plants, flowers and produce, and sometimes up to 3-4 people! After the quiet atmosphere of Luang Prabang, where honking was rare in the old city centre, the streets of Hanoi were quite the opposite, bursting with sounds from every direction. Heading South, we crossed the Red River and approached the Old Quarter of the city.
As it happened, even with my pre-arranged airport transfer, my driver still tried to drop me off at the wrong hostel. Fortunately I had already located my correct destination in Hanoi on Google Maps, and after much back-and-forth, and insistence on my part, I was finally taken to the correct destination. The streets of the old quarter are so narrow that cars cannot go down them, and I walked the final few minutes to my hostel on foot. I passed other hostels with live music, and food vendors with plastic stools arranged near their stalls for people to sit and eat. My friends from Vancouver, Kevin and Liane, had previously stayed at this hostel, Original Backpackers, a few years earlier, and recommended it highly – and rightly so! I felt immediately welcomed by the friendly staff, and began to relax again after many hours in transit. After several weeks of communal living, I had decided to pay a small premium for a private room, where I had a long, hot shower, before crashing immediately for the night.

Day 166 – Hanoi
I only had one full day in Hanoi – and woke up early, determined to pack in as much as possible! Through the front desk of my hostel, I arranged a motorbike “Backstreet Tour” for that afternoon, where a local Vietnamese guide would take me around the city on a motorbike to show me both popular sites, and what day-to-day life looked like in Hanoi.
Tumblr media
In the morning, I began to wander the Old Quarter of Hanoi nearby to my hostel. This historic city has been inhabited for over a thousand years, and has been shaped by a complex history – from ancient kingdoms, dynasties and wars, French colonialism, Japanese occupation during the second world war, to more recently, with the influences of communism and the Vietnam War. After the war ended in the 1970s, it wasn’t until 1990s that the country began to open up to the outside world again, bringing in new opportunities for tourism and economic development. Modern day Hanoi is home to a multi-cultural community with strong French, Chinese and Russian influences. French colonial architecture continues to be visible throughout the city, with some streets resembling historic neighbourhoods in Paris. Near the Old Quarter, a large gothic cathedral constructed by French still stands; St. Josephs is one of the first structures built by the colonialists as they expanded their reach into Southeast Asia. Remarkably, the cathedral is still in good condition despite  the wars of the last century.
The Old Quarter, part of a former citadel wall, is made up of a narrow series of alleys, tightly packed together. The historic area is known for its clusters of workshops, skilled craftsman, artisans and guilds, with the 40 streets of the area each named for the primary good and service provided on each street. It was a lively place to wander through in the morning; locals sat down on low, colourful plastic stools set up by street vendors, eating a breakfast of noodles. Honking scooters whizzed up and down the alleys, narrowing dodging each other. I spotted a few people playing chess in a doorway, right next to a vendor selling produce off the back of a scooter. I passed through one street mostly selling flowers, before turning the corner to find another street with almost all bamboo products.
Tumblr media
I wandered further east to Hoan Kiem Lake, finally making an attempt to cross a major street – with scooters, cars and pedestrians going in every which way! One good piece of advice I had been given by friends who had visited Hanoi was to simply walk out into traffic at a slow, steady pace (without any sudden moves or stops!) and the scooters would simply weave around you. I walked beside locals crossing on my first few attempts, but it wasn’t long before I got the hang of it!
I stopped at Note Coffee to try my first Vietnamese-style egg coffee. This drink is traditionally prepared by beating egg yolks with sugar and milk, and bringing this mixture to a boil, before pouring in coffee. The result is a foamy, dessert-like coffee – and was delicious! The café itself was also unusual – with its walls decorated with thousands upon thousands of colourful post-it notes, with messages from previous visitors. The result made the entire café look like a giant art installation, and reminded me of Yayoi Kusama’s dotted “obliteration room”. Sufficiently loaded up on sugar and caffeine, I continued onwards towards the lake, popping into a few art galleries and stalls on my way. Along the streets, I was constantly amazed by the number of vendors selling fruit, art, and countless other items off the back of their scooters. Pushing or driving their laden motorbike through the crowds, these vendors would make sales right, left and centre – all while keeping moving!
Arriving at the banks of Hoan Kiem Lake, I crossed a traditional, red wooden bridge to Ngoc Son Temple, located on a small island in the middle of the lake. Aside from the crowds of other tourists, it was a quiet respite from the buzz of the surrounding Old City of Hanoi.
As it was approaching noon, I returned to my hostel to meet Kien, my local guide for the afternoon motorbike tour. Slightly younger than me, Kien had grown up in Hanoi, and was excellent company for the afternoon. His motorbike was a vintage, army-green, “Minsk”, a heavy duty motorbike that was brought back from the Soviet Union in the 80s. As luck would have it – I was the only person on the tour that day, which allowed Kien to take me out and around the city for almost 7 hours! I could scarcely believe that I was able to see and experience so much of Hanoi in a day.
Kien first took me to Train Street, where twice a day a speeding train passes through the Old Quarter, mere feet from the front stoops of people’s homes. We continued onwards to Hanoi’s notorious black market, where vendors sell everything from car and mechanical parts to appliances, DVDs and electronics. Kien pointed out things as we cycled; the dense scramble of black electric wires overhead called “black noodles” by the locals; the French colonial architecture throughout the city; and the “tube houses” of the Old Quarter – narrow homes that exchanged their width for height and depth – as a way of lowering property tax, since the wider your house, the more you pay! Many of these tall, skinny homes had large water cannisters mounted on the top of the buildings, used to maintain water pressure. We also visited a few wet markets – where every imaginable item was for sale, from a rainbow of produce to live turtles, eels, and frogs.

Between our ventures into different areas of the city, Kien took me to many local restaurants and wet markets along the way, to try a wide range of different Vietnamese food, including more Ca Phe Trung (egg coffee), Banh Mi Chao (a hearty breakfast skillet), Banh Cuon (rice rolls, stuffed with pork), Pho Cuon (fresh beef rolls), Pho, and Banana Flower Salad. We also stopped at a tiny Bia Hoi right stand next to the road – “Bia Hoi” literally translating to “fresh beer”, and is draught beer that is sold on street corners and tiny bars throughout the city. It is delivered daily and is tapped straight out of a large steel barrel. Kien and I sat on tiny red plastic stools on the pavement, sipping the light beer and snacking on roasted peanuts from a nearby vendor.

A particularly interesting part of the day is when Kien took me East of the city center to the banks of the Red River. I was able to walk along Cau Long Bien, a colonial-era cantilever bridge that was heavily bombarded during the Vietnam war, as it was a key point of connection between Hanoi and the nearby port. Spanning a mile and a half in length, it is still one of the longest cantilever truss bridges in the world. While only part of the original bridge still stands, the bridge continues to be a symbol of pride for the Vietnamese people. Underneath the Cau Long Bien, impoverished families live in a cluster of floating homes, make-shift shelters that have been built on rafts of plastic barrels.

We continued onwards to Bai Giua, or “Banana Island”, an island located in the middle of the Red River next to Hanoi. Since this island is on a flood plain, no apartments or concrete buildings are allowed, and the island is mostly used for farming, including fields of bananas and papayas. Kien maneouvered his motorcycle down a maze of dirt paths between the fields as we explored the island. Barking dogs sometimes came up to our motorcycle, and ran along next to us for a while, before dropping off the trail again. We passed by many farmers working in the fields, typically wearing a conical, straw hat, (called “Non La”) tied around the wearer’s chin with a piece of cloth. These multi-purpose hats not only protect farmers from the fierce tropical sun, but can be used as a fan and also as a basin for water.
Tumblr media
As the sun began to set over the Red River, we headed back into Hanoi, and drove along the large, tree lined boulevards around the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Presidential Palace. Our day ended with a bit of a surprise - as Kien’s motorcycle broke down in the middle of an intersection! Fortunately, this seemed to be a common-enough occurrence in Hanoi, and all the other bikes moved around us seamlessly as we tried to get off the road. All in a day’s adventure! Arriving back in the Old Quarter after a terrific day of exploring Hanoi, I quickly crashed for the night, as I would be waking up early the following morning to catch a bus into the Sapa Mountains, a day’s journey northwest of Hanoi.

Munster GPS opens in the UK
Car GPS Live Tracking Devices with no monthly fees | Free App and Web Portal
Welcome to Munster GPS, the home of UK GPS tracking technology.  We supply both SIM GPS trackers and SIM free GPS trackers. The SIM free trackers are the latest in tracking technology and are fast becoming a favourite due to their plug and play operation and extended battery life up to 3 years.
There are many GPS tracker manufacturers around the world and many more suppliers. Our GPS Trackers have long battery life, built in shock sensors and accurate GPS positioning. They can be used on a person, vehicle or pet. The vehicle trackers when installed reduce your insurance premiums by as much as 40%.
Munster GPS UK  was started in January 2014.
The developer of the Business originally worked as a Design Engineer producing DC-DC converters which are used with GPS tracker products and had a particular interested in GPS navigation.
The developers personal story on how he was introduced to the world of GPS tracking after his dog went missing for several days. He finally found her but spent a long time browsing the internet for a solution and found it difficult to find something that was affordable and fit for purpose.
Also on another occasion while in a busy shopping centre a customers kids went missing. The kid was only missing for 1 or 2 minutes but it gave him enough of a fright to get back browsing for more information on GPS Trackers.
6 months were spent purchasing GPS tracker samples and testing them. Eventually coming up with a matrix outlining the pros and cons of each product taking into account the following:
GPS Sensitivity
Price
Battery Life
Technical Support
Quality
Compatibility
There is now list of products that we can safely say are affordable and fit for purpose. Please do not hesitate to contact Munster GPS with any questions you may have.

Where to purchase my Tracking Device
Purchasing a GPS tracker can be a daunting experience. There are so many tracker retailers
out there from established office based retailers to the amateur seller on EBAY or Aliexpress. The amateur sellers on Ebay and Aliexpress will more than likely sell you a copy of the original tracker. These are much cheaper as they don’t have to go through the same rigorous tests such as CE conformity tests, Temperature testing, Vibration testing etc.
My advise when purchasing online from a retailer website are: 1. Make sure the retailer has a real office address. 2. Make sure the business has a phone number for support clearly advertised on the website. 3. It is a bonus if the business is located in your own locality/country. 4. Check the ongoing charges after your initial purchase. If you purchase a GPS tracker without a SIM card you need to purchase one for £10 and add credit every month which would be a minimum of £10. This totals £130 per year every year thereafter on top of the purchase price.
  SIM or SIM free
One of the most common questions I get asked is “what’s the difference between SIM and SIM free trackers”.
For most applications I would recommend a SIM tracker as it uses the existing GSM network which reaches about 99% of the population.
Sim-Free trackers are useful when a long battery life is essential and tracker accuracy and position upload frequency aren’t so important.
  GPS Tracker Data SIM cards
You can purchase most off the shelf prepaid or Billed SIM cards and use them to operate a tracker.
However you would need to change the tracker settings as per tracker instructions so it can recognize the new SIM card. This involves changing the APN to that of the new SIM card. Shelf SIM cards are becoming less expensive and if you are using the tracker for a short term application they will work just fine. However if you need a tracker to operate over several years it will become very expensive as it would cost in the region of £10 per month which quickly adds up.
When purchasing a tracker for a long term application ensure it has a data SIM installed. It shouldn’t cost anymore than £3 per month if a data SIM is used which significantly reduces your outgoings. A data SIM in a tracker uses in the region of 10mB per month.
What’s the best tracking device for a dog or cat
For dogs the first question I ask is if the tracker will be on the dog 24/7 or just for periods of the day.
For a hunting dog the tracker would be on for normally a period of the day. i.e. Less than 12 hours. Because the battery life is not an issue over this amount of time I’d recommend the SIM tracker as it is very accurate with position updates as often as 30 seconds and with 99% coverage.
For a hunting Dog or Cat that requires a tracker to be attached 24/7 the SIM tracker is not an option as it would require daily recharging similar to a mobile phone. In my experience this is fine for a couple of weeks but you will become tired of constantly removing the tracker on a daily basis for recharging. Instead I would recommend a SIM-Free SIGFOX tracker. It is not as accurate as it doesn’t upload a new position as frequent as the SIM tracker and the coverage is not as good as the SIM GSM trackers but it has a far superior battery life that lasts weeks rather than hours.
What’s the best GPS Tracker for a car
There are two types of trackers you can use for a car depending on your needs.
First option is the OBD tracker. This is the simplest to use. You just locate the OBD port in your car (usually under the steering wheel) and plug it in. The OBD port looks like a SCART socket on the back of your TV. There is now wiring involved as the tracker is powered from the voltage on the OBD port.
Second option is a magnetic tracker that can be placed anywhere in the car. You stick it to a metal panel using the powerful tracker magnet. You can either work off the power from the inbuilt rechargeable battery or you can wire to the car voltage using a voltage reducer that normally comes with the tracker
 Do trackers work abroad
A GPS tracker that uses a SIM card works throughout the world as long as the SIM card works.
For a GPS tracker to operate it needs a Satellite signal and a GSM signal. The GSM signal is dependent on the provider associated with the SIM card in the tracker. Ensure you contact your SIM provider before going abroad to make sure it is data enabled for the country you are visiting.
Satellite coverage is sufficient in most cases outdoors regardless of the country you visit. However the satellite signal will be attenuated while indoors. If you are near a window or if there is a light roof overhead you may receive a signal
What is the smallest GPS tracking device
I get asked quite often what is the smallest GPS tracker on the market.
Unfortunately there is a trade off between GPS tracker size and the length of time it will work between charges. Inside a GPS tracker you have a GSM chip with SIM card and associated circuitry, A GPS chip with associated circuitry and a battery with associated circuitry.
The battery is the largest component in the tracker by far taking up on average 80% of tracker space.
The smallest readily available tracker on the market is the size of a wrist watch. A tracker this size will work for a maximum of 12 hours between charges. If you want a tracker to last longer it needs to be physically larger to accommodate the battery power needed.
There are other trackers available that are even smaller than a wrist watch but to save power they do not have a GPS chip installed and instead use triangulation between transmitters which is only accurate down to +/- 1km

Best UK Television Competitions
First things first?
TV Comp UK describes comping as a hobby in which you enter contests, thus increasing your odds of winning tv quizzes. Based on how lucky you're, you can win a new car, a vacation or a cash prize! Listed below are 20 tips for comping.
Do not get ahead of yourself
Some people have a habit of spending the prize money or planning their own journeys as they enter the contest. It's very important to realize that success isn't guaranteed, however, at precisely the exact same time you need to be in it to win it.
Tumblr media
Combine a forum
You will find forums setup for compers, filled with the most recent contests for you to enter. This goes both ways, you're intended to post up contests which you locate and cheer on people if they triumph, like a small online community. Money Saving Expert's site includes a forum for compers.
Maintain a record
When you enter contests, it's necessary that you keep tabs on everything you've entered so that you don't input more than once, and therefore you know that contest is that should you win.
Establish
Establish to ensure your email address doesn't become filled up with spam specializing in your actions.
Establish
If you're going to prepare a email address, then you can establish a pay as you go SIM card as a line for your contest that you input. This usually means you don't need to present your phone number and you may track your comping calls once you decide to by altering for your SIM card.
Be choosey woman telephone
Enter contests which you wish to acquire. This can make it much more easy to keep an eye on the ones that you do input. Plus prizes are not one so if it is a visit to Barbados but you can not stand to flygive it a miss.
Make the effort
Some contests require you have an image, to compose a poem or do a mystery. Due to the effort, there are entrants, so they are worth a go.
Maintain a draft on your inbox
Some contests ask that you send an email answering a query to be able to enter. It's a great idea to have a draft email prepared along with your name, email address and phone number, leaving space for a response. This way it's possible to send it and get your entry in.
If you can enter for free, take action
Comping can turn into a costly habit, so if you can go into a contest for free online, take action. A good deal of television contests do this.
Beware premium rate telephone competitions
If a contest includes a premium rate telephone line, it is going to cost you a fortune. The money that you've spent on the telephone call is non refundable even should you win.
Write back!
If you receive an email or a letter stating you have won, don't forget to get back in contact as some promoters will draw the prize if they haven't heard from you.
Maintain a record of your winnings
In case you've won something, take note of this, which means that you can chase it up in case it does not turn up. It is yours In case you've won it.
Check your junk mailbox
Emails using specific words like"congratulations" or"winner" frequently get placed in the junk mailbox since they're supposed to be spam. Always check these mails aren't spam and observe.
Say"no thanks" to Additional contact
Spam by picking out of permitting the business conducting the contest to get in touch with you or program you use to input.
Be Mindful
Do not input something if it does not seem legit. This may be a scam for bank details or personal information. If you discover place it on the forum as a potential scam to warn people about it for additional information from campers.
Get anti-virus applications
You might be going on sites if you're going in search of contests on the world wide web. Its best to shield your pc. Some of them are free and very powerful.
Check Facebook for contests
A good deal of pages operate promotions which involve enjoying their webpage or tapping on something. This may result in free things, so it is well worth keeping an eye out. (Please be aware -- it's contrary to the Facebook principles to get 2 profiles, which means that you cannot devote winning into comping.)
Do not forget to watch out on Facebook page of TV Comp UK for fantastic prize draws!
Read the fine print
When the contest ends, it will state. So that you know when to quit after that contest, this is helpful.
Find obscure competitions
If you discover a contest in an obscure book, input it, rather than many other people would enter (or that is the theory anyway) so you'd have more chance of winning.
