You're such a tease, when are you able to post ch2 ( I'm gnawing on the iron bars if my enclosure rn LEMME OUT )

well unfortunately for everyone here i write my long fic in the most unhinged way possible, i.e. writing straight through until i get bored and then skipping to all the cool parts that are fun to write in whatever order they strike me, and stitching it all together afterward. which makes some of those connecting points kind of weak, until i come through to fix them with a couple rounds of edits where i read the fic straight through until something feels "off" and i take the time to fix it. naturally the amount of time this process takes increases as the work gets longer (8k now btw), and i noticed i accidentally hinged one scene around prismo touching Scarab in a way which was inconsistent with the rules I'd established up until that point... so now i have to fix that. 😂

ch1 i wrote basically straight through because the muse possessed me, but the increased length and the simple fact that sequels are harder (and i have school lol) is why this is taking so long! i appreciate everyone being patient and continuing to send me motivating compliments in these trying time 🥹

i have some time set aside this afternoon for writing before an ofmd watch party and I'm free tomorrow, so tentatively Friday but possibly Saturday, depending on how I'm feeling after my vaccines (and it's Fall break, so if for whatever reason I don't get to it on Saturday I have 3 more days of weekend to fuss over it without anything else going on)
