there's a ramble in the tags i just did but i'll put it up here: no shade or hate to folks who commented concerns or flagged this up as potential behaviour/coordination issues associated with brain/neuron affecting diseases- there's a lot of folks on this site for whom seeing a deer doing weird things in broad daylight is a sign of very real danger and distress- and you've every right to be used to being vigilant which is a safeguarding behaviour where yall live and i'd never disparage that- and it's also very fair to second guess a video with 0 context found online being passed around as cute when it could in fact potentially not be. I'm just here to help add some context and detail so yall can enjoy it in peace the way I can with what I know <3 also very open to correction and critique cause i haven't done proper science communication in over a decade so ya know. i am in no way an authority or a vet nor do I currently hold a position with any ecological or scientific organization, to be clear.
