Deal (V! Izuku Midoriya)
"Wholy fucking shit. That was Midoriya, that was Deku the fucking quirkless bastard." Katsuki was lying in a hospital bed, he had been lucky that Recovery Girl had been in the area, or else he'd be in intensive care. Katsuki had received a number of bullets to his arms and legs and a few stab wounds as well. An old classmate who had happened to be in the area when he was rushed to the hospital, [Y/N], was seated with her legs crossed in a seat not to far from the injured man.
"Izuku..." She said quietly, her head rested on her hand as she pondered about the man. He had disapeared midway through his third year in middle school, his belongings were found under a bridge. However the boy left no trace as to what had happened, leaving the police to rule his disappearance as an abduction and murder.
"Next time I get my hands on him I'll kill him!" [Y/N]'s head snapped up as she stared at the U.A. graduate before her. Her eyes flared in anger and disgust, recalling Katsuki's behavior in middle school.
"You'll kill him? You bully him for fourteen years of his life and he disappears and finds himself among a group of people who seem to have accepted him and you're going to kill him? I gotta go." The woman shot him one last disappointed glance before heading out the door. Of course she didn't condone Izuku's actions, she couldn't even think on imagining how many people the young man had killed. Not to mention he did try to kill Katsuki, although [Y/N] couldn't give two shits about the poor excuse of a hero.
"[Y/N]!" The woman had exited the building and was headed into a side street to head home when the sound of Katsuki running up behind her. She spun on her heels, her arms crossed and her gaze narrowed at the man.
"What the fuck do you want?" The tone within the young woman's voice was laced with venom, she watched as Katsuki's fists clenched in frustration.
"Do you really fucking sympathise with that useless piece of shit?" [Y/N]'s blood felt as if it were boiling as she clenched her own fists.
"Do I agree with killing who knows how many people? No. Do I agree with bullying, encouragement of suicide, and assault? No. So let's leave it at you're both guilty." [Y/N] watched as Katsuki only seemed to get more angry. However his gaze was fixed on something behind [Y/N].
"Ouch, [Y/N] You really think my body count is that high?" A somewhat familiar voice asked from behind her. She spun and found herself mere inches away from Izuku, who wore a sadistic smile and toyed with a knife in his hands.
"I mean from what Bakugo said you seem to have a good amount of experience with guns," [Y/N] shrugged, trying desprately to keep a level head despite the wave of fear that she felt wash over her.
"Deku when I get my hands on you I'm gonna kill you!" Izuku laughed, throwing his head back and clutching his stomach. To think that Katsuki had once scared the man was hard to believe now but as Izuku stood there laughing in his face Katsuki felt all his pent up anger explode just like his quirk.
"You're gonna kill me? You're so funny Kaachan! I'm glad to see that you've kept your humor over the years!" Izuku wore a grin that rivaled even Katsuki's, pure enjoyment over watching the frustrations of another. He read Katsuki's movements like a child who was rewatching a movie for the tenth time. Just as Katsuki went to move, Izuku's hand lashed out, the hilt of the knife barely contained within his fingers.
"Midoriya! That would have killed him!" [Y/N]'s hand found itself around Izuku's wrist. The action was a shock to everyone, Izuku was surprised she would dare to touch him, [Y/N] was shocked that she had moved without thinking, Katsuki was shocked that her reaction time had been so quick.
"Well he threatened that he was going to kill me! I've got stuff to do later!" Izuku protested, bringing Katsuki and [Y/N] to exchange a skeptical glance. Izuku was no longer the sweet, determined, compassionate young boy he had once been, at least it didn't appear that way.
"Whatever, next time I see you Deku I won't heisitate to kill you." Katsuki turned and ran, knowing that he'd get in more trouble than it was worth if a pro hero was found bickering with a villain that had just nearly killed him.
"Izuku..." [Y/N]'s voice trembled as she fully processed the man standing before her. She had never been particularly close with the boy when they were kids, she was always to nervous to approach him. However she always admired him from a distance, his can-do attitude, his courage, and his drive. Then when she was ready to try to talk to him he was gone, leading her to blame herself. If only she had talked to him, if only she had done something that he wouldn't have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
"What?" The confused gaze gave her a glimpse of the Izuku she once known. Her knees gave out and she crumbled to the ground in tears. Izuku was beyond confused, he had known of the girl in middle school. She was kind and they had talked here and there but he knew little about her but here she was, calling him by name and crying at his feet. His gaze softened and the crazed tone had faded from his voice. Even though it was against everything he had been taught in the League of Villains Izuku kneeled down and rested his hand on her shoulder.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry Izuku, if I had talked to you, if I had found the courage to get over my own insecurities. Then you wouldn't have been there," The girl's words confused Izuku further, she never seemed to have much of an interest in talking to him. In fact nobody did, which is why when Kurogiri offered him a spot in the League of Villains there was little reason for him to refuse. When nobody had ever believed in you and someone stood before you, believing you could help the world it was hard to refuse, especially for a fourteen year old.
"What do you mean?" he was genuinely confused, the woman before him lifted her head and sat up, pulling Izuku into a hug. It was a strange feeling for Izuku, he hadn't been hugged someone since joining the League. She whimpered quietly, trying to halt her tears
"If only I hadn't been a whimp and had just talked to you. I didn't stand up for you, I didn't talk to you. I just watched, I was so naive and stupid. I still am naive and stupid." Izuku finally came to realize what she was blabbering about. He shook his head and gave her a pat on the shoulder.
"It's okay, you didn't know." Izuku comforted her, he still had the same wobbly smile as middle school. However there was a glint of mischief there, his intentions were unclear as he pulled away from the young woman. He pushed himself to his feet before holding out his hand. Not a word was said, yet he looked at her expectantly. She raised her eyebrow in curiosity and took his hand. As soon as her hand was within his own she was being lightly pulled along the alley.
"Kurogiri." A portal opened before the two, it was a mix of purples and blacks which faded around the edges. The two were enveloped by it before [Y/N] could ask what it was. When the mist faded away the two were standing in the middle of an old bar that was bustling with people. It didn't take much to realize those people were just anyone, they were all villains. A chorus of welcomes echoed through the bar as people welcomed Izuku back. It took a moment for them to notice the girl who stood paralysed in fear. Keeping a level head around one villain wasn't to bed, keeping a level head around at least a dozen? That's a bit harder.
"I-I-." [Y/N]'s mouth was covered by Izuku's hand as he gave her a look to silence her, he didn't want her to say something that would get her in trouble. That didn't matter to [Y/N] though, she was horrified as she took note of no less than a dozen criminals. A few of whom were well know, highly dangerous, and deemed unstable.
"Deku-kun! You brought a girl home?!" [Y/N] knew the girl as Toga, a well know criminal known as part of the Vangaurd Action Squad, a group that caused havoc across Japan.
"You sure it's okay she's here? You know how some people around here are about that sort of thing... I couldn't care less, so long as she doesn't try anything" [Y/N] couldn't remember the man's name, though he looked familiar. Izuku dropped her hands, only to wrap his arm around her shoulders.
"I couldn't give to shits what Shiguraki wants. Nobody touches her against her will while she's here. Unless you like the sound of watching the blood drain from your body." Izuku's tone was threatening, bringing [Y/N] to stiffen under his arm.
"Deku, who is this? I though you felt abnormally heavy coming through the gate." A deep voice asked from behind the bar. A man covered in that same black mist that transported them here asked from behind the bar. He wore a fancy suit and armour around what looked to be his neck. A realization came to [Y/N] as she realized that he was the man from the USJ attack.
"Why don't you ask her? She can talk for herself." Izuku's smirk was similar to Katsuki's smug grins. [Y/N]'s  teeth clenched in a strange mixture of annoyance and fear.
"My apologies for my rudeness miss, I am Kurogiri. May I ask for your name?" The man gave a slight bow towards [Y/N] leaving her taken aback, she never expected a villain to be so... polite.
"Oh my! Has Deku finally brought a girl home?" A man wearing a mask, a top hat, and a suit not to different from Kurogiri's entered the room. He was adjusting his bowtie and held a package of wipes along with a marker in his gloved grasp.
"Yeah! Now shush so she can tell us her name! I wanna be friends with her!" Toga had an excited glimmer in her eyes as she waited for [Y/N] to talk.
"Pleasure to meet you, I'm Nova." [Y/N] came up with the name on the spot, taking her space manipulation quirk in mind.
"The pleasure is mine, please, enjoy your time here." Kurogiri went back to cleaning some glasses from his stance behind the bar. A squeal came from Toga as she began to jump up and down. If [Y/N] recalled the two were probably around the same age.
"Nova-chan! We gotta hang out sometime! I've been the only woman here for waaay to long. The guys are annoying sometimes." The annoyance that began to radiate from Izuku made [Y/N] shrug but offer a small smile.
"Maybe, we'll see." She said looking at Izuku, who was watching her intensely.
"Nova let's go to my room, we still gotta finish our conversation." Izuku's tone was back to the crazed, sadistic tone that it had been earlier. [Y/N] nodded and forced a smile towards the villains around her.
"It was nice meeting you all." [Y/N] said politely as she followed Izuku through a few doors, up a flight of stairs, down a hallway, and to his room. It was interesting to say the least. A number of weapons were about, both practical and decorational. A few All Might posters were about, the young man still admired the hero. There was also a poster of Arumirion, the successor of All Might and the new symbol of peace. The poster was defaced, with a large red X over the hero's face.
"Welcome to the League of Villains." Izuku held open his arms in a dramatic fashion. [Y/N] stood awkwardly and leaned against the wall.
"Why did you bring me here Izuku?" [Y/N] asked, the man dropped his arms and looked [Y/N] in the eyes, his gaze strong, much stronger than it used to be.
"Because I want you to join me, become the hero you wanted to be."
"Izuku how could I become a hero if I'm here? Not to mention I gave up on that dream years ago, I dropped out of U.A. for a reason."
"But I am a hero, I'm a hero and a villain. That bank robbery that was stopped by an unnamed vigilante? That was me. That alcoholic man that was found dead in an alley bleeding out from his eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and anus? Also me. There doesn't need to be a black and white image of what a hero is and what a villain in. We can change that image, together."
     "Izuku you can't ju-"
"Please, it would mean the world to me if you were by my side." At that [Y/N]'s heart melted, it's not like there was anything to hold her back from it. Never knowing her mother and her father having passed away a few months prior. [Y/N] had no idea if Izuku was being genuine or if he was using her but at this point she didn't care. She wanted to feel like she mattered, and she knew that being know as a failed hero would not lead her to such a conclusion.
"Just please don't make me kill anyone, I don't want to have blood on my hands."
"Deal."
