i also have meta manips i whip up myself so that my tail is visible when i have gloves and such on! theyre really easy to set up. for anyone who doesn't know:

penumbra -> make new empty mod -> advanced editing -> meta manipulations. put in the number of whatever gear item you wanna adjust (you can get this from glamourer!). tick the boxes you want changed, hit apply changes, enable mod, and voila!!!! you have done it .

uhh chimera rui not in that hes necessarily a fusion but in a "What The Fuck Is That" way. he was captured by knights acting as "monster" hunters (they normally go after like. Actual animal/animal adjacent type creatures and not someone thats visibly a person but they saw rui and were like wtf is that thing get it NOW maybe we can make bank)

akito is part of the knight guild but he's soooo disgusted and repulsed by the idea of them going after someone who is visibly a sentient person that he breaks rui out of containment and runs away w him... and then theres also a prince tsukasa being a gay little cunt as per usual /silly

rui is Kind-of-Selectively-Mute. mostly it's him just recovering from the ordeal of being effectively kidnapped by the knights and then the chaos of akito (and reluctantly tsukasa) saving him but he's still scared they're gonna turn back on him so he stays quiet but he starts writing to communicate b4 he opens up to start speaking

i'm still figuring out lore for exactly what rui is and what hes capable of but i think with the digitigrade legs i think he could run on all fours if he really needed to.... beast mode... idk if he has some kind of animal form i havent gotten that far. definitely purrs though. always. but even more cat about it than normal.
