As he spoke, he moved a little closer to me, and a faint sweetness flooded into my nose. I subconsciously turned my head to the side, crashing into his deep blue eyes.

Warm breath hits my face from only a few centimetres away.

The breathing mingled together, silently syncing with the other. The sound of a heartbeat roared in my ears, making me unable to tell whether it was mine or his.

His voice sank into my breath, and I couldn’t help but hold mine.
