Thank you grandparents for showing me my mum’s old competition photos at nationals 2011 in Germany when I went with her and making me realise how severe my memory gap issue is. Literally all I can remember from the week long trip is based on photos and even then it’s only 3-5 seconds of two moments and the sensation of being in the ice rink and feeling incredibly small (I was 6) compared to all the skaters. Save me Yuri I don’t wanna think about how my mum used to be a functioning member of society who got ruined by my dad I just wanna think positive things about the rink and not feel like a husk
