#gonna be honest not a fan of how the zonai dominated totk#or good chunks of the story…#the ending rlly kinda killed my desire to play#like w botw I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a post-botw state to dick around in#but when totk did it it was like…. idk man.#the whole thing was just. eh. to me#like Zelda is a damsel in distress and insecure again who needs to unlock some secret power#and the criticism that the old champions didn’t get a lot of characterization wasn’t fucking. they did the same thing w the sages and we don#don’t even know their names!!#and how the zonai existing rlly throws the timeline into disarray#and p much replaced the sheikah which ymmv but I didn’t like it#and we got a singular CRUMB of ganon characterization#which was FINE when he was just a big beast but now he’s a person and he’s clearly got stuff going on#cool plot threads abound and none of them are picked up and expounded upon#Sigh.#I should replay botw#also the Fuckin. loyalty vow ceremony whatever they do post game w Zelda and the kingdom of hyrule#I know loz is like. feel-good divine right of kings the video game series but come on man#I honestly wish Sonia had been hylia incarnate and rauru her chosen knight like ppl were theorizing#who fought against demise the very first time#or. idk something#just not who was part of a totally cool ancient race that were revered as gods!!!1!1!#*a guy who was
