[Ava staring at something completely annoyed, Peter walks up next to her]
Ava : ......
Peter : Woah! What's got you so grumpy?
Ava : .....it's nothing
Peter : Yeaaaaah no one is gonna fall for that, did you actually sleep on the wrong side of the bed-
Ava : No... And it's still none of your concern... I'm fine...
Peter : Hey I'm just trying to help! You see i myself have been in the same situation like you before and–......Ooooooh
[Peter stares what's In front of him]
[Shows Y/N enthusiastically and energetically petting a white cat in his hands]
Peter : The irony huh?
Ava : I just don't understand I am literally RIGHT here
Peter : Yeah that's a shame... Let me handle this✨
[Peter starts walking towards Y/N making Ava panicked because she knows his probably gonna do something stupid]
Ava : Wait what!? Don't you–....Uuughh
[Peter walks up to Y/N and whispers something to him making Y/N gives the cat to Peter]
[Y/N walks up to Ava and puts both of his hand onto both of her cheek]
M!Reader : Chuckles because of a cat?
Ava : ......
[Ava placed her head onto his shoulder making Y/N immediately hugs her]
......
[Without Y/N noticing Ava and Peter gives each other thumbs up to one another]

[edit: now on ao3!]
okay here's a cafe au that we're just gonna noodle here ("we" lol - me, it's just me and my silly shenanigans) where basically Ava's going in for coffee and normally, idk, normally Mary is the one to get coffee when they're working together but Ava was being too annoying so Mary sent her out to get coffee and pastries.
when she steps into the cafe Mary had recommended, she immediately is grateful because at the register is one of the most beautiful women Ava's ever seen. sure, she has a strict looking bun and an unreadable expression, but Ava can work with that - especially when she notices how the woman's gaze flickers downward briefly. (Ava sends a thank you to Mary also for doing laundry yesterday)
as Ava steps up to the counter, she notices a nametag on the woman's chest - it's one of those "hi my name is" stickers and it's slightly askew, as if it had been haphazardly slapped on - which seems at odds with the rest of the woman's look (Ava notes that her shirt is actually tucked into her pants) but Ava's not one to judge. "hello, JC," Ava greets, giving the woman her best smile.
the woman frowns. "i'm not -" blinks, stutters, "um, yes, hello, welcome to Cat's Cradle," settles back into her unreadable expression by the end of the sentence. then, she gives Ava a soft smile. "what can i get started for you?"
Ava rattles off the order, throws in a couple extra pastries because why not, gives her name and her payment and stays close to the counter to watch JC make her drinks. she notices a couple other folks working too because wow, how the heck did this cafe employ the prettiest people: a taller guy with a rakish smile wearing a shirt that seems a size too small (let's be real: Ava's not complaining) and a nametag that says Camila; a shorter woman (omg, she's around Ava's height!) with a gleam in her eye and the bounciest curls and a nametag that says Beatrice. their voices are too low for Ava to make out what they're saying but whatever they're talking about prompts JC to shake her head, a bit of a blush on her cheeks, a smile lifting just at the edges of her mouth as she walks over to hand Ava her order.
"thank you," Ava says, hopes it doesn't sound as breathless as she's feeling but whatever, who can blame her when this murmurs so softly and genuinely to come again soon. 'oh i will,' Ava thinks, barely clothing her mouth from spewing the words (she does spew the whole story to Mary who rolls her eyes and chucks a piece of her pastry at Ava's head)
*
apparently, JC isn't the woman's name.
Ava figures it out the third time she visits (okay it's the same week, sue her - actually please don't, she doesn't get paid enough to afford a lawyer) because the real JC and Camila have been wearing those fancy carved nametag pins but Ms. Badass Barista (she's seen those guns, holy shit) is still using the "hi my name is" sticker.
today, the nametag sticker has Evelyn written in a fine cursive that distracts Ava enough that she fumbles her order. she at least manages a "thanks, Evelyn" as she steps back from the register and she gives herself a high five for not being a complete disaster.
watches 'Evelyn' pause, her hand frozen on the register for a moment before she blinks, a smile blooming small and shy. it makes Ava's breath catch and she's high off the feeling for the rest of the day.
*
the name written on the nametag changes everyday. sometimes it's more masculine, sometimes it's more androgynous, sometimes written in heavy all-caps, sometimes with doodles of flowers and sparkles decorating the edges. Ava never knows what the expect, and though she doesn't know why the woman's name changes everyday, Ava loves a good game; can understand wanting to try something new - for the heck of it, for the life of it.
so she makes it a point to say the woman's given name at least once or twice whenever she visits, watches her reaction closely. some days she gets a smile, some days a laugh, some days no reaction at all. ('Archibald' had gotten a grimace from the woman, snorting cackles from JC and Camila).
then, one day, Ava steps up to the register and the woman doesn't have a nametag, the shirt bare save for the cafe's logo. Ava tilts her head curiously, notes also the way the woman has clasped her hands in front of her, something small turning between her fingers.
"so," Ava says slowly, spotting JC and Camila not-so-subtly eavesdropping from the back, "what should i call you today?"
the woman clears her throat. "well," she begins, bites momentarily at her bottom lip; it distracts Ava enough that she has to ask her to repeat the question: which one had fit her best?
Ava thinks back to the different names and the different reactions the woman had had to each of them. the way they sounded in her own mouth, rolling off her own tongue. and Ava may be all sorts of desperate for this woman but she also cannot lie. "none of them?" Ava winces, but the woman doesn't seem disappointed at Ava's answer - in fact, she almost looks relieved.
"i ... have a complicated relationship with my real name," the woman says softly, eyeing the item in her hand. "it was chosen appearances, for a legacy i have no intention to uphold. but it's the name i was born with. i thought maybe i just needed a new name. but now i'm not so sure."
Ava smiles as gently as she can. "a name can be something that grows with you. something you can make into your own."
the woman smiles, nods. breathes in deep, then takes the item in her hand - a nametag, Ava realizes - and affixes it onto her chest. stands up straight and waits.
Ava lets her eyes curl around the letters in time with her tongue, tracing the name before setting it free: "Beatrice." the difference is clear, between all the other names and this one. the way Beatrice simultaneously softens and straightens, acceptance - of what is, what will be; of who she is. and Ava thinks -
"it's beautiful." doesn't stop there: "just like you."
a blush rises high on Beatrice's cheeks and on Ava's own but she won't take it back, not now, not when it's true.
"ask her out for dinner!" comes a hissed command from the back and Beatrice sends a glare over her shoulder and Ava giggles, which turn louder when Beatrice finally starts to laugh as well.
'it fits,' Ava thinks as Beatrice makes her order - after hammering out details for their date - watching her move, watching her be herself. 'it's you.'

It’s been a year and a half since Melissa Schemmenti publicly said no to a marriage proposal. A year and a half since the fiery redhead had gone out with anyone, and she really doesn’t have any plans to start dating again- at least that’s what the Abbott crew thinks.
The truth is, the second grade teacher has been seeing you since the night she went to the casino and bar to blow off some steam after reuniting with Gary to return his things and get her stuff back.
You were at one of the slot machines when the redhead passed by you, laughing.
“What’s so funny, Red?” you asked as you looked up at her.
“You ain’t gonna win no money that way,” the woman stopped in her tracks to tell you. “C’mon. Let me show you how it’s done.”
That night, you stuck by her side as you watched her win thousands of dollars at one table alone, clearing out quite a few men.
It’s late when she finally threw in the towel. She offered to walk you out to you car, and you took her hand in your own.
“So,” you exhaled a small cloud of smoke from the cigarette the two of you were sharing. “What are you gonna do with all that money you just won, pretty lady?”
“Take you out on a date,” Melissa had replied cooly. “I’ll pick you up tomorrow at seven?”
Neither of you looked back.
That was a year and three months ago. While your side of the family knew of your relationship with the teacher (and they absolutely adore her), her crew doesn’t have a single clue of your existence or rather large presence in Melissa’s life- despite the fact that you were now living together and your lives were intertwined.
So whenever anyone at Abbott tells Melissa that they found someone they think she might fancy, she just brushes them off.
“Janine, no offense, but if you think someone is worth dating, I would find them to be-”
“Hey,” Gregory cuts her off.
Melissa just shrugs. “My case in point. Greg, you know I love you like the black son I never had, but you’re boring as hell.”
“Ava, I am not about to go clubbing with you to pick up a man fifteen years my junior,” the redhead rolls her eyes.
“C’mon,” the principal chuckles. “They fun! They’re like energizer bunnies.”
“I barely have the energy to stand and get the remote from the other side of the room,” Melissa retorts as she opens her bottle of iced tea.
“I think you would like him!” Jacob pleads. “He saw your picture and said you were fine.”
“I am fine,” Melissa states, gesturing to her figure. “And I’m just as fine without a partner.”
It’s gotten to the point that even Barbara is concerned about her friend’s adamant denial to get herself back out there. So, the day that Melissa has recess duty, she brings it up to her coworkers.
“Now listen, I am not usually one for meddling in someone else’s love life, but don’t you think it’s concerning that Melissa flat out refuses to even attempt to put herself back out there?” the kindergarten teacher asks to the faculty room.
“Weird as hell,” Ava waltzes in, but having heard the question decides to chime in. “But aye, good for Schemmenti, realizing she don’t need no man in life.”
“I just find it odd…” Barbara taps her chin. “Melissa, while one with a tough exterior, loves love. She’s always wanted someone to spend her time with.”
“Maybe we should stage an intervention,” Jacob suggests. “To really show her that she’s good and healed from the failed proposal and to get back out there.
Gregory looks mildly impressed with that suggestion. “That might work.”
They have no idea that the entire time she’s supposed to be out monitoring the children on the blacktop, she’s smiling down at her phone like an idiot talking to you.
And when she comes home that day, she fully goes through with the things you two had texted about earlier.
The Abbott crew plans an intervention for Melissa- a banner, letters, all of it. When she comes into the staff room, smiling down at a midday text you had sent her, the rest of her colleagues are standing by the couch, looking somber.
“Fuck. Who died?” Melissa’s smile drops immediately.
“No one died, Melissa,” Barbara states.
“But we think a part of you might have,” Janine says dramatically, somberly.
“What the hell are youse talkin’ about?” thee redhead rolls her eyes.
“Melissa, dear,” Barbara says softly, calmly. She makes her way over to her friend and takes her by the hand to guide her towards the seat they had put in the middle of the room.
One by one, they read the letters that they had all written, expressing their concern for their favorite fiery Italian teacher.
“Melissa,” the kindergarten teacher finishes up. “We all love you dearly, and while we understand that it takes some time to get over the heartache that Gary caused, this is a bit extreme. We are worried.”
“An’ I appreciate the thought and care that you guys put into this,” Melissa tells them with a sigh. “But I promise youse: I’m fine. I don’t need to get back out there.” She almost adds on that it’s because she’s happily seeing someone, and has been since three months after her split from the guy that filled the vending machine.
“Just… know that we’re all here through all of your seasons,” Jacob tells her. “The good, the bad, and the ugly.”
“We do care about you,” Janine says softly, and she offers the redhead a hug. Melissa doesn’t necessarily want to embrace the shorter woman, but she goes into the arms of her colleague.
Gregory just gives her a nod that conveys his love for his coworker, to which she smirks and nods right back in his direction.
“Now, can we eat lunch?” the redhead chuckles.
As the day passes on, Melissa comes to realize just how much her coworkers care for her- their gesture, albeit absolutely ridiculous and dramatic, was heartfelt and full of love. Maybe she should just come clean about the relationship she’s in. Or she could just buy them all some Philly soft pretzels and soda instead to thank them. Yeah… that’s what she’ll do for now before she can talk to you about how the two of you want to go public about your being together.
She orders the pretzels to be delivered to the school before the day is done, and when everyone is reconvening back in the faculty room to grab their lunch bags before heading home, Melissa makes sure she’s the first one down there. She has the box on one of the tables, along with a some cans of soda. Whatever they don’t take, the redhead knows will be eaten and drank at home.
“Oi,” she calls to her friends. “Come get a pretzel and a soda as my thanks for carin’ about me so much.”
They all light up at the sight of the gesture, aside from Gregory.
“I do not like pretzels, or soda, and for that reason I will not take one,” the man says as his friends dive in. “But thank you.”
Melissa rolls her eyes. “I figured you would say that. Which is why I got you a bag of peanuts and a water.”
He looks mildly impressed and takes the offered items gratefully.
Once again, they all voice their love and care for the woman that gave them a salty treat before heading out for the night. Everyone except for Barbara. She waits for Melissa to clean up and gather her things before walking out with the woman.
“That was very sweet of you,” the kindergarten teacher nudges her friend.
Melissa huffs. “Oi. Don’t knock me like that.” She readjusts her grip on the small box of pretzels before sighing. “But it was just a thank you for caring.”
“We care about you a lot more than you know,” Barbara smiles. “And just so you know… you are a Philly eleven, and I do think you should get yourself back out there. I know it can be scary to put your heart back out there, but even if it ends in heartbreak and a few smashed in headlights, I will always be here to help you pick up the pieces.”
“I know, Barb,” the redhead says softly, so out of character. “Thank you.”
“Think about it!” the older woman says as she parts and heads off in the direction of her car.
With a sigh, Melissa unlocks her car and gets everything settled before slumping into the front seat.
Coming home with a treat, she texts you.
Is it you? You reply back.
She chuckles at that. She can practically see the smirk written on your face. You’ll see.
When she pulls in, she can smell you before she sees you. You’re clearing smoking, but she can also smell the delicious dinner that you’re making.
The redhead makes her way into the house, deep in thought of how much her friends are looking out for her, and attempting to piece together how to approach you about the topic of coming out.
It’s odd. Your girlfriend makes her way into the kitchen and places the box of pretzels down, but she doesn’t make her way over to you the way that she usually does. Instead, she’s looking down at the food, brows furrowed and deep in thought.
You turn the burner down to ensure that the food won’t burn or bubble over before making your way behind Melissa. You wrap the arm that isn’t holding the joint around her waist before holding it up to her lips and offering her some. Even in your somewhat inebriated state, you know something is up with her.
“You look like you could use this more than me,” you chuckle softly.
She shrugs, but does take a hit before blowing the smoke out.
“Hard day?” you ask her gently. “Need to be taken care of?”
Again, she shrugs. She doesn’t really know what to say. This is so unlike Melissa. Usually, she comes in huffing about the ridiculous antics of her boss, she bounces on her toes when she tells you the sweet things the kids had done or said, and she is more than willing to dish out the tea that was spilled in the staff lounge earlier that day.
“Mel?” you ask softly, taking a cheek in your hand and cupping it gently. You force her to look at you. “What happened today?”
She laughs softly, before full out cackling. This sudden change in mood startles you.
“Mel, babe, you’re scaring me,” you tell her. “What happened?”
She sits down and plucks the joint out of your hand. “The crew planned an intervention for me,” she tells you with a chuckle as you go back over to the stove.
You turn. “Oh?”
She nods, a playful smirk on her face.
“For?” you raise a brow. You turn your attention back to dinner. “Can I guess?”
“Sure, hun,” she laughs as she takes another drag.
  “The aggression that you email the parents with?” No. “The heeled boots hitting the linoleum tile too loudly when you’re pissed?” No. “The arson?” No. “The threats of a bare knuckle fist fight?”
“Jesus,” Melissa laughs. “When you list all of that out, I sound like a terrible person.”
“No,” you say quickly. “I love everything about you!”
“I know you do,” she chuckles. “But no. None of that.”
“Then what?”
“My love life.”
“Your love life?” you turn to look at her incredulously.
“My love life,” the redhead sighs. “They had a banner, they had letters, they had the chair in the middle of the room… everything. And for me. When I don’t even have a problem with my love life.”
“So why did you come in lookin’ all sad?”
“Not sad… just thoughtful. The things they said… it showed me how lucky I am to have coworkers that care for me as deeply as they do. So at the end of the day, I had pretzels for them to show my gratitude. And after, Barbara and I walked out together… and… how would you feel about telling people that we’re together?”
You finish stirring the food and plating it before bringing it over to the table where your girlfriend is sitting. You set the two dishes in front of her before sliding into her lap. You finish off the joint together before smiling.
“I’ve been ready,” you tell her. “I’ve just been waiting for you to be.”
“Yeah?” she asks you as she kisses your temple.
You nod before taking a bite of your dinner. Damn, between the two of you, you should open your own restaurant. “We’ve been together for over a year, living together since six months in, I don’t plan on going anywhere, and I would hope you don’t either. I think it’s time.”
“I think so too,” she says softly. “But with the end of the year comin’ up… we’re all crazy busy.”
“So we can organize something for after the school year?” you suggest. “Maybe a fourth of July barbecue?”
So that’s what the two of you do. Your girlfriend walks into school on the last day and tells her friends that she knows that don’t have anything going on for Fourth of July, and they better be at her house for a barbecue. They all look at her, clearly confused. No one- not even Barb- has been invited over to the house since Melissa and Gary broke up. Nevertheless, they don’t argue and all promise to be there.
They all come in one clump, and the faces that they make when you open the door draped around Melissa are priceless.
“This is my girlfriend, Y/N,” she says proudly. “The reason that I have been declining all of the people you’ve suggested I date, and the reason I have not ‘put myself back out there’. I don’t gotta when I have her.”

heartache, and other aches
parings: melissa schemmenti x fem!reader
summary: working on the furthest side of Abbott meant you avoided the cameras a lot. especially when you would always have everything you need in your classroom. but the inevitable day came when you needed to journey to the teachers lounge.
warnings: language, smut, teasing, praise kink, mommy kink, fingering, cunnilings, aftercare, fluff at the end
a/n: the way i didnt know if there was just gonna be smut or more but the lawd made her path🙏 (once again if you see mispells shhh i did proof but i mightbe missed somethings)
Tumblr media
How could you have been so careless?! You avoided that hall all year. All. Year. Now towards the end you have to find Ava for a student file to write your report.
It was her lunch time you knew that much. Which is why you expexted her to be in her office. Eating her lunch like every other time you’ve crossed her.
Carefully to not be in any camera, you made your way into the teacher’s lounge. Relieved when nobody but a few background teachers were in there.
“Oh hey y/n! Weird seeing you here,” Ava came in with a smile. “Looking for something?”
“Well I hava a report and I needed the folder from your office but couldn’t find you.” You puffed out while taking a seat. “And it’s even weirder that you’re in here without the others?”
And it was like a sixth sense, because you didn’t end your conversation you just left and just missed the camera crew. Listening to the laughter of the few teachers in there.
“One day they’ll catch her.” Jacob,laughed while walking in. “Has she ever really walked in here?”
Ava shrugged and went back to her lunch. Meanwhile Melissa and Barb walked in together.
“I’m serious Barb, even though were on the older side, we should try working out just once! There’s this nice, quiet gym not too far,” the red head was determined. “I read it was really friendly and neighborhood owned.”
“Oh I know that gym!” Ava quipped. Catching both the woman’s attention. “Yeah its really nice, a lot of the teachers around here tend to go to the more known gyms, but that one is friendly.”
“See!” Melissa beamed.
Barb contiplated the thought. Only to shake her head once more. “I’m too old to dry and lift weights,” she sighed.
Melissa scoffed. But before she could say anything Jacob spoke up. “Ya know, if you’re looking for a gym partner you could go ask y/n. She goes there daily.”
“Y/n?” Melissa became puzzled. Who were you?
Ava nodded. “Yeah, she’s really good and fit. Fine as hell too! She’s in room 216.”
“That’s on the other side of the school though?” Barbra furrowed her brows. Not understanding how there’s a teacher she’s never met.
The two shrug and left at the sound of the bell. “216 is where she can be found. No cameras though, or she’ll never let you in.”
The woman looked at each other, lost on the whole conversation. But then Barb smiled. “Seems like you have a gym buddy, which means I dont have to be!” She beamed. Taking her seat before the other teachers come in along with the camera crew.
Meanwhile, on the otherside of the school, Jacob and Ava came barging in. Disrupting your speech before you let your kids off to lunch and ‘study hall’(which was really them in the library in the furthest corner)
“Alright, now I don’t want another email from other teachers of you guys almost starting a fight. You’re the oldest ones in this building, act like it. Now go, be free for an hour. When you get back we’re gonna vote for our last book of the year.” You dismissed. Watching as they all scattered.
“You’re gonna thank us!” Jacob smiled hoping into your bean bag chair. You and Ava followed over.
“I may have found you that gym buddy you always wanted,” Ava filled you in quickly. “And she’s your type.”
Your eyes widened. “Absolutely not! I can work out if I know she’s watching me!” You shook your head. “I appreciate it but when I said I wanted a gym buddy I meant more so someone who already goes to the same gym. Like, I don’t know…”
“You needed a little push! You are never going to act on that crush hidden in this well decorated and cozy and well stocked classroom,” the two agreed. “Just give it a chance, who knows, maybe she won’t even come ask you!”
Just then there was a knock on your door. All three heads snapped to see the red head in question.
You were the first to look away. Wishing to be swallowed into a hole in the moment. “Can you two excuse us?” You whispered to them, ignoring their smiles. They nodded and scrambled away. “What can I do for you Ms. Schemmenti?”
“I’m sorry…I was just looking for Y/n?” She apologized. You only softly laughed. Making her realize, you were the one she was told about. But you look like you could barely hurt a fly. Your braids were almost perfectly done, your body fit your clothes in ways that nobody else’s could, but most of all, you didn’t look like you hit the gym everyday. “Really?”
“I was told I should be expecting you, but I didn’t think I’d get the honor so soon.” You moved to put papers around on the desk. “So, what do I owe the visit?”
“I’ve never once seen you on school grounds before.” She was still trying to process you. “I thought room 216 was Nancy’s class?”
“Mrs. Freeman left last year, Ava knew of me and gave me the spot. Said she’d keep it on the ‘DL’ for me.” You recapped the day she had texted you.
“And how close are you with Ava?”
“Close enough to be constantly invited out with her and never able to say no. She has this thing for trying to set me up with any woman who looks my way,” you could only chuckle at the antics.
Melissa lit up like a christmas tree at the mention. You? Woman? You can’t be real!
You retreated to your desk. Folding you hands and resting your head on them. A silence taking over the room. One you didn’t like. “Why’d you come here?”
She took a hesitant step closer. “I…I wanted to ask you about the gym you go to?” You nodded lightly for her to conintue. “Do you by chance want a work out buddy? Because I know I’m old but it-,”
“You’re not old?” You cut her off. Shaking you head with furrowed brows. “And I’d be more than happy to have you accompany me, but just know I go a bit late. I’ll pick you up later, how does that sound?”
Melissa was at a loss for words, so she shook her head and went on her way. Instantly coming back in to write down her number and address. A deep blush covering her face and chest.
You however, kept your face neutral. Trying to hide the overwhelming excitement that flooded your bones.
Once she was gone you could only kick your feet and silently scream.
~~~~~~~~
It was late. Almost considerably too late. You text Melissa at 7 saying be ready by 8:30. And you however, didn’t know she lived on the further side of the city. So by 9:30 you had arrived. Ringing her doorbell.
The door opened, and she didn’t look pleased with your timing. “You’re an hour late.”
“You failed to mention you lived closer to Mrs. Howard.” You frowned. She let you in, signaling for you to wait in the kitchen.
“And you know where Barbra lives? None of us have even ever seen you, so how would you know?” She raised a brow. Making a water bottle for herself.
You blushed at how you knew. “It may have been a one night stand over here. And one morning before work I saw her leaving. She leaves so early.”
Melissa scoffed. A feeing of jealousy bubbled in her. “You? A one night stand? I highly doubt it!”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” You folded your arms. Suddenly feeing agitated. “You don’t think I have it in me?”
“No! I really don’t. I mean look at you. You look like you could pass as a librarian with how small and cute you are. You hardly look like you drink.” She turned. Resting agaisnt the counter.
She was challenging you and you both knew it. But you wouldn’t back down from this. “Really? Thats what I appear to you? A fragile librarian?”
“Nothing short of one. I’m surprised you even have a gym membership.” She shurgged. “Don’t worry angel, its ok to be a librarian.”
Angel. “We’re on nicknames already?” You quirked a brow. You attempted to ignore the blush that heavily took over your face.
“I guess we are. So it seems you have to give me one. Its only fair.” She beamed. Straightening up once you started to walk forward. You had this look in your eyes that she couldn’t decipher.
Soon enough you had her between yourself and the counter she once rested on. Her breathing picked up slightly. How could you have this effect?
You leaned in close to her ear. Biting on her lobe before humming. “I’ll have to think…what about…mommy?” You smiled pulling away to look in her eyes.
They were darker than before and just as she inched closer to connect your lips, you pulled back. Pushing off her and walking towards the door.
“Gym gets empty in an hour, it’ll be perfect timing.” You acted as if nothing happened. As if you didn’t just flirt heavily with her.
“How far is the gym?” Melissa tried to recollect herself.
You beamed, “only twenty minutes away. But, you picked someone who’s been going to the same gym since freshman year.”
Her green eyes widened. “What’s that supposed to mean?!” She followed you out.
You both got in the car and you just smiled at her. Starting the drive while humming along to the music.
And the night was the start of many. But every single night after, you would go home to take the worlds coldest showers. You were always down for her. Hands always on her, and you said it was just spotting. You never went more than a fether light touch.
But your eyes had a mind of their own. They would stare at her. Her ever curve. The way her workout clothes hugged and did her justice. How her hair was tied up until she would shake it out and then flash you a smile. Throwing a wink in as well.
“Schemmenti, better be careful before I start making moves on you.” You would joke.
“And who says I don’t want you to do that? Wouldnt you like to be mommy’s?” Was always her reply. Knowing that the words made you flush.
But she never knew you would go home to your bed. Hand between your legs while you played out many fantasies with her.
Always imaging it was her fingers knuckle deep. Aways her edging you till tears. Always her praising you. Always a good girl for mommy she would whisper in your ear as she pounded into you.
Or if it was you in the cold shower with her warm body behind you. Her hand tracing tight circles in a fast pattern till you were shaking in her arms. A whisper of you’re ok, mommy’s here. I got you.
Maybe it was the one of you and her at the empty gym. You would catch her staring at you while you took off your sweatshirt. Crimson covering your face as you looked away. Her soft hand would cup your face a smirk on her face. Mommy’s pretty play thing would fall from her mouth.
Or worse. Somehow and someway she would drop by unexpectedly while you moaned her name. You wouldnt even make it to your bed. Youd be sprawled out on the couch in the sweatshirt she once gave you when some guys checked you out. Whimpers and pleads for her to come finish you. She would chuckle mommy’s dirty girl. Couldn’t even make it to your room.
“Y/n? Girl who is taking up that mind of yours?” Ava walked in your class. She had caught you staring looking so stressed out at your papers. “Is it that gym buddy?” She teased. Laughing loudly when your let your head fall and nod.
“Ava, it’s a curse I swear!” You whined. Rolling your head to watch her sit on the rolly chair and come close. “It’s literally every night at this point. I’m in heat or whatever constantly and nothing is soothing it. I even tried a one night stand with some random lady at a bar and it didn’t work! I just…she’s making me feel like there is nothing but her to fix it.”
“Ok, then have sex with her!” Ava chirped. Her smile was different though. You knew that smile. That was the smile of mischief.
You picked you head up when you registered it. “Ava what did you do?”
She snorted as there was a knock at your door. “Gave you the boost you needed.” She wiggled her brows before you looked at the door.
Melissa stood there. Smirking at everything you said. “I’m out before it gets sweaty, this lace ain’t cut out for that!”
She rushed passed mummbling something to Melissa before looking at you. She flipped her hair and walked out.
You couldnt move. The redness on your face began to infect your chest. And it wasn’t any help that you wore a cami with a cradigan today.
Melissa walked in, closing the door behind her, you missed when she locked it. “So…” Her voice was low. “Is it true?”
You couldn’t look at her. You were beyond embarrassed. You opened your mouth but shut it almost instantly.
“Look at me baby,” she hummed. You couldn’t tell if this was real or not. Your breathing was quick. You had to be in a dream. “Angel. I won’t ask again.”
On that you turned you head. Thinking the blush couldnt deepen until you felt fire. She was right there. So close.
Her index finger was under your chin, making you look up at her. “Every night?”
A quiet whimper left your throat. It was so quiet. You thought you would be safe seeing as your heart beat was louder.
“Every night.” She said again with the devil’s grin. “I’ll see you tonight for the gym angel, wear something cute ok?”
You could’ve died right there. You gave her a dazed nod. Lips parting as she walked away.
But as her hand made the lock, you couldn’t contain yourself. You moved quicker than your chair falling to the ground. The sudden noise making Melissa turn to find you already behind her.
You, with no thought behind your eyes, grabbed her face and pulled her into a kiss. It was seering for you. It was what you wanted. What you needed to further everything you’ve ever thought of.
Every dirty thought about her suddenly felt possible. It was now a maybe that you could have this woman. All you wanted was this woman.
It was what you needed to let out that needy whimper for her. The noise wasn’t even close to embarrassing you. You knew you would be a mess for her. And the noises that would come from you were what she needed.
Melissa kissed you back, maybe not as intense, but certainly telling you she wanted it too. But the moment that beautiful noise you let out made its way to her ears, she couldn’t take it. She broke away first.
Her eyes slowly opened before yours. You still were in your own world. Even while your eyes were open. She could see the fuzziness in those blown pupils.
“I’ll see you later angel, be good for me will ya’?” She pecked your cheek before leaving you.
Tears pricked at your eyes. You needed her desperately and didn’t know if you could make it till that late. But you wanted to be her good girl, so even if it made you ache, you would hold off.
That’s exactly what happened though. Your body ached and your lips longed for her. Her soft touch caressing you in ways you couldn’t think were possible. Her green eyes staring down at you as you came undone from just another kiss. How her teeth would shine when she smiles at you again. How her teeth would feel with her nibbling at your heated skin.
You couldn’t pull it together. You knew you couldn’t. You had to see her again. It’s how you found your way to her class room. You never went in though.
What if you come off too needy? What if she gets repulsed by it? How badly you need her though. Her soft touch would make you fall apart almost instantly.
Your thoughts got the better of you and you broke into a sweat. Feeling suddenly too hot to even breathe.
You knew you weren’t gonna make it. You wanted to try. You had only two hours left. How bad could that be?
~~~~~~~~~~~
Terrible. Thats how it was. Not only did you get flirtatious text every ten minutes, but your students had noticed your sudden ansy behavior. Your leg was constantly bouncing, you had hardly taught them anything, barely looked up to see what they were doing. You just couldn’t break your eyes away from the papers.
“Ms. y/l/n?” One student called. Getting a distant hum from you. “Are you ok? You lookin’ mad flushed…”
“Yeah, I’m fine. Um our book for the rest of the year. Do you guys really want to do it?” You glamced around at them all. Everyone was agreeing no. “Right, ok, so what if we didn’t then? What if I told you your last project is a presentation on whatever you want?”
They all seemed to enjoy that idea so much more. “Why the sudden change?” A girl poked.
You shrugged. “You’re not gonna learn anything from a book. So the book presentation will be changed to what you want. Just somehow connect it to what weve learned. You can start now, or the rest of the day is yours!” You had a small smile watching them move around.
That was how your day ended. A loud class and shaky legs.
The first moment they were all gone, was the same one as you locking the door and crumbling onto the ground.
The ache between your legs was excruciating. You needed a relief and you needed it soon or you might actually die.
Your hand gripped at your stomach. It felt tense. Too tense. You were so focused on trying to pull yourself together, you missed the knock on your door. Also the rattling of the door knob.
Tears began to stream down your face. How could one woman not touch you and make you feel so much?
“Y/n! Hun, are you ok?” You could hear the worried voice of Melissa next to you. Her hand delicately falling on your back. The contact made you cry out. Trying to get away from the pain. “Angel, what’s wrong?”
You shook your head. Grabbing on the side of a desk and standing up. “N..Nothing. I’m ok!” You tried. Eyes glancing to Ava who was confused. But once she saw your eyes, she knew exactly what was wrong.
“Just text me if you need anything!” She winked before closing the door and rushing away.
Melissa stared at you as you tried to collect your bags. “Y/n?” You kept in your own world. “Y/n, please talk to me.”
You turned and looked at her. Staring in her eyes with the widest pupil’s she’s ever seen. “I…you’re…” You couldnt get any of it out. So you kissed her. Not like earlier. Not with the heat you had been feeling. No. This was more simple. Careful. Meaningful.
“Oh…” She hummed once you pulled back. “I see…”
You frowned. There was something that told you, you weren’t getting that relief so easily. It pained you again that more tears sprang from your eyes.
“Please,” you whispered out. Choking on a quiet sob. “I..I can’t handle it. I’ll be good but please Mel. It hurts,” you could only whisper these words.
She held you cheek, her thumb wiping away the tears. She kissed the top of your head. “Lets go home then? I’ll cook you dinner, how does that sound?”
You had a glisten in your eye. She said home. As if you already were her’s. You hugged her tightly, burrying you head into her neck.
“I know princess,” She had a smile in her words. “Lets go home.”
You two left hand in hand out the building. Never once letting go (except for putting your bags down).
Melissa opened the door for you, “Make yourself cozy on the couch baby, I’ll bring you over clothes to change into.”
You furrowed your brows. You didn’t leave clothes here? But when Melissa handed you the sweatshirt, and only the sweatshirt, you lit up at her.
Pulling all your clothes off right there and covering yourself in her. Hugging yourself tightly and smelling the fabric.
“Come on baby, come keep me company while I cook yeah?” She held out her hand. Beaming once you took it.
She could sense you felt better. And you were. All her attention was yours. You were glowing in it.
Melissa lifted you up onto the counter. Standing between your legs and placing a soft kiss to your lips.
You watched her cook while sipping on a glass if juice. You weren’t that big of a drinker, which came as no surprise to you fiery red head.
She had assumed so too, and last night when Ava texted her the plan, she had to go buy you apple juice (Ava mentioned it was your favorite).
Once she finished she handed you the plate and stayed between your legs. Both of you ate off of the same plate while talking.
Melissa, however, could only focus on how cute you looked. Sitting here in her sweatshirt, in her home. Most of all, it was the look in your eyes any time you got to put a fork full of pasta in her mouth. Had she fallen deeper than she thought?
“Melly?” You frowned. You had asked a question and she just stared at you. Almost smitten by something.
She leaned forward, kissing you all over your face with care. Placing a final one to your lips. “I’m sorry angel, what’d you say?”
“I asked howd you learned to cook so fast?” You cheesed. The kisses making up for the lack of undivided attention.
“I grew up with it. It’s a family thing I guess.” She answered. Her eyes falling to the plate that was empty. “Let’s get cleaned up?”
You nodded your head and hopped down the counter. Getting ready to wash the plate until you were stopped. “Baby, you’re at home, relax.”
She did it again. The home thing. You couldn’t understand it, but the feeling it was making you feel. Warm and fuzzy.
Melissa tried to push you to the couch, which was her having to lead you the entire way. She tried to leave you alone. Yet you didn’t want to be away from her. You grabbed her hand and pulled her down to you. Kissing her lips hungrily.
She tried to hide her excitement for what would happen, but she wanted to see you wait longer. “Soon pretty girl,” She said into the kiss.
You grew upset at that. “I’ve been good! I can’t wait any longer!” You fussed. “You’re not being fair.”
She laughed at that. Not a soft chuckle, a full laugh. One that actually made you feel a bit embarrassed at this childish behavior. “You are such a needy thing. But I have to clean up dinner before we do anything.” Her hand rested on your chest. Feeling the drumming of your heart.
You grabbed at her wrist. Slowly teasing yourself as you pushed it to run down you body. Letting her cup you heat. Feeling how soaked you were.
A moan leaving you as she took control and added pressure. “Please!” You damn near screamed. Your eyes glossed over. “I need you! I can’t wait!”
She kissed your neck. Once. Twice. Then sunk her teeth into your pulse point. Listening to your body as you bucked into her hand. Trying to get yourself off on it.
“Be careful baby, if I start now I don’t know if we’ll make it to school tomorrow.” She smirked at you. “Or do you want me to wreck this pretty pussy?”
You nodded your head eagerly. “Yes! God! Yes!” You shook. Was it cause you were cold? Or was it you were that in need? The answer was definitely the latter. Your body felt on fire. It was too hot in this sweatshirt but you didn’t want to take it off.
Her lips found yours. Her hand wrapping your legs around her. Where she lifted you up. The gym really did begin to pay off. “Then who am I to deny you?”
She walked you all the way to her bed. Gently setting you on the edge while she knelt at the end. Kissing in your thighs and over your waistband.
Her index fingers hooked between the band and your skin, she dreadfully slow pulled them down. Down your thighs. Down your calfs. Onto the floor.
The fabric was almost instantly replaced with her mouth. She wasn’t going to waste a single second.
“God, angel, you taste so good. And you’re so wet. All this for me?” She licked you up. Wanting ever drop you would give her.
The feeling brought you right to the edge. You’d been longing for so long. “Melly…”
“You’re so sensitive baby, go ahead.” She granted. Feeling how you hand held her close while you rode out your high. She smiled once you let up.
You were panting for her. Shaking already. “What do you want from me angel? What can-,” you pulled her close. Hugging onto her while your hips grinded against her still.
Your lips ghosted over her ear. Your warm breath sending shivers over her. “Want mommy to ruin me.” You hummed.
She never thought you would say that name in this situation. She truly thought you two were joking about the name.
When she looked into your eyes, hers turned to a forest green almost. She had to give you everything. Had to keep you.
“Get comfortable then my princess. Mommy’s gonna make sure you can’t remember anything but the feelings.” She pushed you up further on the bed.
Her jeans brushed over your naked half. Making you realize how much clothing she had on compared to you.
“Melly…” You called for her attention. Immediately getting her eyes on you, making you smile. “Your clothes.”
You pulled at her shirt. Desperate to see her supple skin. “Why don’t you do the honors then?”
No second was given before you were sitting up. Hands at the hem of her shirt. Fingers dancing under as you pushed it up. Revealing the sight you desired. Your eyes snapped up to hers. Not wanting to be disrespectful (even though she had just eaten you out).
“You’re beautiful…” You kissed her. All of the heat and need you felt was gone. This was raw emotions.
This was you.
And Melissa knew that. Its what made her falter from her spot.
How could someone as young as you think that about her? You had so many options and here you were.
She knew she had fallen in love. But she would wait to tell you that.
“Let me make you feel good,” you climbed on top of her lap. Kissing from her lips, to her jaw, and down her neck. Leaving only one bruise on her pulse point.
Her moans and airy gasp fueled you to keep going. She needed this just as much as you did.
Your hands pushed her back. Now she laid and gave you better access to her collar bone. Were you left more hickeys. She would be in sweatshirts for at least a week.
“Baby…” her breathy voice was almost begging.
You lifted up, looking in her eyes. “What do you need mommy?” You smiled that charming smile.
She bucked her hips up at the name, listening to you laugh. “I need you my pretty girl. Touch me in ways you’ve dreamt ok? Can you be my good girl and do that?”
You couldn’t lie, as much as you wanted her to take you, this was better. This was something you didn’t know you wanted.
Your left hand caressed her boob, making her arch into your touch. Giving you the chance to unclasp the bra. Freeing her chest from the restraints.
You pulled it off and connected your mouth to her right boob. Your hand playing with the other. You couldn’t help put graze your teeth over her sensitive bud.
You switched shortly after. Her moans spurring you on in ways you never knew. “Just like that baby. Such a good girl for mommy,” she moaned. Her words pulling a moan from you as well.
You began to drop your kisses lower. Taking time to acknowledge her body. Hands running around, trying to memorize everything.
You kissed along the waistband of her jeans. Your eyes looking up to hers, finding them already looking at you.
You shifted to slot a thigh between hers. Pressing it against her core hard. Watching her arch into it.
She knew you had done this before, but she never expected you to be so good at knowing where to hit.
“Your jeans mommy,” you left sensual kisses behind her ear. “They’re restricting.”
She didn’t answer, no, instead she fumbled with the buttons and zipper. Letting you assist her in getting them off and on the floor. You had her completely at you mercy. This was becoming better and better.
You met her cute pink panties. Smirking at the little bow it had. “Mommy, you’re soaked.” You eyes shined in the dim lighting. “Can I?”
Her hips bucked, “Of course princess, but hurry!”
And hurry you did. You dived right in. Your tongue working wonders on her bundle of nerves. You worked her up quickly with just one muscle. Dipping down to her hole and feeling it clenching around nothing. You teased her like you knew would have you pinned.
“Just like that baby! Mommy’s so close!” Melissa panted. Her hips snapping to meet your movement. “Right there! Fuck! Don’t stop!”
But you did. You did stop. You pulled away and waited for her response. Her head rolled to look at you. Her mouth opening to yell, scream, all because you denied her. Yet it fell open when you slammed three fingers in easily. You felt her walls flutter around you. Smirking at how you had her.
You had the Melissa Schemmenti coming undone on your fingers.
You kissed at her neck. Guiding her through the high and trying to ignore the ache you felt once again.
She sat up and pulled you into a kiss. “Mommy’s good girl.” She whispered. Listening to the whimper that left you. She hummed at the noise. “Is someone all needy again?”
You nodded with a sad face. Grabbing her hand and guiding it to where you wanted it. Gasping once she didn’t even hesitate to slipping three fingers into you. You shuddered and held onto her shoulders.
“Go on, since you wanna be the top so bad. Ride mommy’s fingers. Fuck yourself until you forget about all the woman in the past. The ones that will never fuck you like how I will.” She said against your ear. Feeling you start to bounce in her hands.
“Just like that baby. Look at you!”
“I bet you wont ever whore yourself out to anyone again.”
“You’re so perfect.”
“Mommy’s pretty girl.”
Her words hit you hard. They did things to your mind that connected to your core. “Mommy…I’m-,”
“I know you are angel. Go ahead. Mommy wants to feel you cum.” You started to become sloppy. Shaking when she curled her fingers to hit you right. Making you fall apart in her arms. Gripping onto her shoulders for some form of grounding.
You hide your burning cheeks in her neck. Giving almost non exsisting kisses to her skin.
And after a moment, she slowly pulled out her fingers. Hushing the nosies that left you. “I know, I know baby. But mommy’s not done with you yet.”
Your eyes grew at those words. What else had she planned on.
Carefully, Melissa laid you down and moved to her drawers. “Don’t move or you’ll ruin the surpirse baby.” You couldn’t see her. But you weren’t alone for long. She had you above her again. Hovering over her lap. “How are you feeling y/n?”
She could see the lost mindset you were in. Was she going to far with this? Your eyes were trained between you both.
“It’s big…” you could only swallow. “Will it hurt?”
“Only for a minute baby. We can take it slow, ok? Or we can stop here.” She gave you options.
You were silent. “What if…I don’t want to go slow? What if…I want it to be quick and painful?” You looked at her. She was clearly shocked. “Or! we can, I mean we don’t!”
You got cut of by the loudest moan of your life. She bottomed out in you in one quick movement. You felt the burn. The stretch.
She wasn’t one to let you go shy on her now. Melissa wanted to watch you loose your senses. It’s how you ended on your back as she pounded into you.
The red head showed absolutely no mercy for you. She wanted to overstimulate you.
Her thumb was added to your clit. She was moving fast. Faster than you would’ve ever thought possible. But god did it feel amazing.
Melissa seemed to know your body more than you. She brought you through several orgasms in such a quick manner. Making you loose all verbal responses and just noises.
You didn’t know bow many you were on but you felt wiped. Too sensitive. You quickly came, and as she fucked you through it, you could tell she was gonna push you for another. But you thought couldn’t take another.
You tapped on her hand, hopinf she would let up, but she didn’t. She just laughed. “One more baby. You’re doing so good for me. Such a sweet girl. Letting mommy fuck you like this. You can give me on more right? After that we’ll get you all cleaned up. Be a good girl for me and cum, princess.” She talked you through it. Staring intently as you shook under her. “That’s it pretty girl. You’re ok. Mommy’s here.”
She took the chance while you were blissed out to pull out and discard of the fake appendage. Scooping you into her arms and holding you tightly as you cried in her arms.
They were happy tears. “I know, I’m sorry baby. You did so well. So incredibly well. I can’t even believe the feelings you feel right now. You’re mommy’s good girl. Her sweet girl. Her princess. Imma move is to the bathroom ok? We’ll take a nice warm bubble bath.”
~~~~~~~
That morning you woke up in someone else’s bed. You rolled to look at the side clock. It was well into the day now. You missed work, andnit would’ve made you worried if there wasn’t a certain woman walking in with a bag of food.
“Good morning sunshine,” She was quiet. Last night rushed back to you in a flash. “How do you feel?”
You sat up and could only smile with sleep. “Did you call Ava?” Was your first question.
“She was the one who had the subs covered the moment we left yesterday. I brought you your favorite.” She held up the bag.
You furrowed your brows. “But that’s all the way across thw city?”
“I know, but my special girl deserved it.” She sat down with you and started placing the food on the covers.
“Wait! The sheets are covered in…” You were worried. You weren’t one to let good food be touched like that.
“I changed them last night. You fell asleep in the tub and I took it as a chance. I promise they’re all clean.” She winked at you.
You looked at her with a blank stare. She was about to ask you ‘what’ but you brought her close and kissed her with care.
“Thank you Melly,” you whispered out.
She hummed. “Of course angel, you’re at home, you might as well be treated like a queen.”
“You did it again.”
“What?”
“Home?”
“Yeah?”
“You keep saying this is my home?”
“Cause it is?”
“No, this is yours?”
“Y/n, have you not gotten it yet?”
“Gotten what?”
“I’ll explain it simply for you ok? I, a older woman whose been through divorce, know what I want. Now you, a younger woman who still has so much to learn, have not been through divorce. But, I, the older woman, am going to keep you for as long as you let me. You’re my good girl, and no matter what, you always will have this place to be home.”
Tears pricked you eyes. Nobody has ever done such a thing for you. Even if she was right, you didn’t know what you wanted. But you wanted her. You wanted a future with her.
You kissed her hard with emotion. Soon hugging her and burrying your head into her neck. “Thank you Melly.”
“Of course, angel. Now eat before your food gets cold.” She detangled you from her.
Both if you smiled at each other. You knew you were in love with this woman, it’s just a matter of time.
Hi! Can you do a Bang-able drabble where he has a glitch in his programing (he's a computer after all), and he shuts off. She has to call the company to help fix him, but it takes a few days. She's miserable without him and when he's working again, she's all over him and he's loving all the attention from her. He could even say something like "wow I should shut off more often" because he just loves how much she missed him. Thank you!
Okay so this is a little different and a lot less excitable but I thought it was cute 🥰
I hope you like it!
(And sorry it took me so long 😅)
~~~~~~
"How long has it been?" Ava ask, sitting down on the couch and handing me a glass of wine, helping me drown my sorrows of being away from him.
"A couple of days" I say and she hums, trying to hold back her clear need to make fun of me and when I glance up at her after my attention had been on my wine she breaks. "A couple day's without robo-dick got you down this bad?" she snorks, not being able to sympathize with me any longer.
"It's not just that alright. Although I won't lie in saying that's been on my mind, but I'm worried. What if they reprogram him on accident and we have to start all over? What if they break him and try to replace him with a new model? What if-"
"Y/n, it's fine. I read up on what's going on and it looks like it's a normal defect that's happened with most of the models that were made around that time and from the looks of it, it seems like it's an easy fix" she interrupts, having looked it up beforehand to quell my worries.
"Yeah, you're probably right...but I've never been away from him this long. I mean he's barely been out of my sight since he got here" I say, making a valid point as to why I'm feeling like this.
"You really miss him, don't you?" she sighs, realizing that the sex bot part of him, although very prevalent from how often I decide to stay home most weekends, has become a secondary thought for me. "I do" I say, not needing to point out the elephant in the room but still wanting to voice my feelings.
"He's my best friend...besides you" I admit and she scoffs "Thanks".
She rolls her eyes and gets up to grab the other half of the second bottle she had forgotten on the counter but before we can change or even continue the subject there's a knock on my door.
She looks over at me but I shrug, deciding to let her answer it since it's almost ten pm and let's admit it, she's a lot more fearless than I am.
Getting up on her tip toes she looks out of the peephole and when she's realized who it is she turns around, a smirk splayed across her face. "You're gonna wanna to answer it" she says and steps aside, waiting for me to do as she says and when I stand up and cautiously make my way to the door I look out the peephole as well and it's like I can't unlock the door fast enough.
"Took you long enough" he smirks and braces for impact since I'm literally clinging onto him as soon as I open the door. "I missed you" I say, burring my face into his neck and breathing in that familiar scent I bought him. "Missed you too baby" he chuckles, wrapping his arms around my waist, pulling me in so there's no space between us.
"And that's my cue to leave" Ava interrupts, her bag already on her shoulder and her shoes on her feet. "Wait you don't have to lea-" "I'm going before the tension gets too high between the two of you and I feel like even more of a third wheel than I already am" she interrupts, parting her way through the both of us and throwing a half ass wave our way.
"Thanks Ava" Jungkook smirks, looking down at me and appreciating the unspoken agreement they have.
"Yeah yeah whatever lover boy, just don't leave her for that long again. Mopey y/n is a pain to deal with" she sighs. "Hey!" I call out in protest but she's already at the elevator when that simple word leaves my lips. "Bye" she waves again, a devious look in her eyes since she knows I'll be thanking her later.
"Don't you ever leave me for that long again!" I scold him, as if he had a say in any of this. "I've literally been out cold since they took me back y/n, I had zero concept of time until I 'woke up'" he says with air quotes, slipping inside the apartment and closing the door.
"Ew don't call me that" I say and walk further into the living room with him trailing behind me. "That's your name isn't it?" he says so matter o' factly that I whip around way too fast, scared that my fears might've become a reality.
"No no no no! Don't tell me they reprogramed you! Your memories are all gone aren't they? I knew I shouldn't have let them take you! The glitch wasn't that big of a deal! I thought you spacing out all the time was really cute. I jus-"
"Baby" he says in a way that convinces me I was wrong, making me let out a breath. "I haven't forgotten about you and I sure as hell made sure I came back to you as soon as possible" he reassures me and that alone is enough.
"Really?" I pout, having stopped the nervous pacing I had been doing since I started my short lived spiral. "Really really" he assures me, pulling me in by my waist, making me place my hands on his shoulders in turn, looking up at him and seeing that same expression he gives me when he's trying to convince me that everything'll be okay.
"Come here" he says, taking one of his hands off my hip and placing it on my cheek, angling my face just right so he can kiss me. That same familiar feeling hitting my senses when he kisses me perfectly, matching with the pace he knows always makes me dizzy.
"Believe me now?" he chuckles once I pulled back, looking up at him suspiciously. "Maybe" I say, narrowing my eyes, still not fully convinced but enough to know that my Jungkook is back.
Not a new and improved one, my Jungkook.
"There were a few things they changed though, well more like added" he admits and I step back, leaving his embrace, skeptical and scared about what it might be. "What is it?" I whisper, and he chuckles before stalking towards me, telling me everything I need to know but with every step forward he takes, I take one back.
"No no no I'm not in the mood for that right now" I say and he sighs, reeling in that predatory gaze. "Didn't you say you missed me though?" he huffs and I scoff, realizing how nosy he remains, another sign that he's still the same.
"How long were you spying on us?" I cock a brow at him, crossing my arms over my chest and demanding an answer. "First thing I heard was Ava making fun of you for missing my robo-dick" he grins making me roll my eyes, sitting down on the couch, crossing my arms and feeling embarrassed that he heard all of that.
"It's cute to know that you missed me so much…and my robo-dick" he smiles and sits down next to me, pulling me under his arm even through my stiffened protest. "Whatever" I pout, not wanting him to know how hopeless I am without him, although I'm sure he could've guessed since I'm not good at hiding my emotions around him.
"I missed you too" he chuckles and lays my head down on his lap instead, caressing my face and tracing all my features, almost as if he hadn't committed them to memory already...literally. "You sure you don't wanna..." he asks, the new features he had hinted at before clearly being something the company is wanting to get feedback on.
"I just...I just wanna be with you" I confess, laying on my back with my head still in his lap, looking up at him and just enjoying the fact that he's back. "You're so adorable, you know that?" he coos, pinching my cheek just the slightest bit but I don't mind it. Not this time.
I continue to study him, completely silent for a while watching him look down at me, looking just as fascinated in me as I am with him. Maybe it's just a feature for data collection but those are things I've come to ignore now.
"Come here" I whisper and use one hand to slowly encourage him to lean down and kiss me, the angle awkward but it doesn't matter, with him all that matters is the here and now...
and that's enough for me.

Are you jealous?
Tumblr media
Melissa schemmenti x fem!reader
Summary: Reader is shy and feels like Melissa is too far out of their league, but with enough nagging from Ava, and the presence of Gary, they finally tell Melissa how they feel.
Warnings: fluff, minor angst, jealous reader, comfort, Gary (for the plot only), my failed attempt at humour, Ava and readers are besties, Most of this was wrote at 3am, first time posting my fics on here, I’m trying my best.
*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*
“I think you should tell her” Ava suggested, “why, so she can laugh in my face and ruin the perfectly good relationship we have? Yeah, No thanks.” You joked slumping further into your chair.
When you had joined Abbott you had instantly fell in love with the people there, janine, although she could sometimes be annoying at times, you know she means well by it all. Jacob was like a brother to you, he was nerdy and sometimes ruined a joke or two, but for the most part he was caring. Gregory took some time to open to you, but when he finally did, he was surprisingly funny and good to be around. Barbara was one of the kindest people you had met in your life, you saw how she mothers the younger teachers, Janine mostly, and it was sweet and admittedly wholesome to be around.
Melissa was at first cold and icy toward you, which you later learned that was normal for her, but eventually she warmed up to you. After some time she started to bring in cannolis from your favourite bakery, more recently though she started to even bring in home cooked lunches for you. She was sweet and you admired her, but eventually you realised after a while, that you had developed a crush on her. You knew she wouldn’t like you like that though, You were quiet and awkward, while she was strong and confident, not to mention gorgeous, and so you figured a woman like her, a woman who deserves the best, wouldn’t settle for a person like you. But that was fine, if friendship was all you could have, you were fine with that but, a date or two would be nice though.
Ava was your best friend at Abbott and the only person that knew about your little crush on the second grade teacher. When you first met Ava she thought you were like Jacob or janine, more on the awkward side, but when she ran into you one night clubbing, she found that you weren’t at all like you were at school.
That was why you were currently sat in Ava’s office sulking in the chair across from her desk. “But what if she feels the same though? I mean, your hot, so I don’t see why she wouldn’t” Ava said putting her feet onto her desk. “How could Melissa Schemmenti like me?” You questioned. “Oh come on? What are you gonna wait till someone else swipes her up? Girl c’mon live a little, you can’t avoid her forever” Ava asked, her face now serious. “Cause have you seen that vending machine guy? he’s been makin’ moves on your lady” she continued. “He has?” You turned to her with wide eyes, normally you would be in the break room at lunch but since your realisation you’ve been staying in your classroom as of late, not that you don’t want to be near Melissa, but you thought that if you distanced yourself, your feelings would eventually go away.
“But what if she doesn’t feel the same?” You questioned, concern filling your face. “But what if she does though?” Ava countered, The bell rang as she finished. Letting out a sigh you finally agreed with Ava, “alright, we’ll I’ve got to go get my kids from the gym” You pushed yourself up from your chair and walked out of your friends office.
*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*·.·*
The next period ran over quicker than you thought it would. You were dreading going to lunch. You knew Melissa would never like you and yet after talking to Ava you somehow gained this false hope that if you asked Melissa out before Gary did, then maybe, you had a chance.
Finally, after many minutes of persuasion you went into the break room, you only saw Barbara at first, but then you saw…him. You had forgot Gary stocked the vending machine today, you saw the questioning look sent your way from Barbara, you walked straight over to the counter and grabbed your cup out of the cupboard and started to make a coffee, as you waited for the drink to finish you began overthinking everything, you knew you should have never thought you had a chance, it was obvious that Gary liked Melissa and of course she would like him back, he was good looking and he was sweet and thoughtful. Barbara had said it herself a while back, even she saw that they would be perfect together, and how could Barbara Howard be wrong?
The beep of the machine in front of you rang through your ears as you broke out of your thoughts. Grabbing the cup you tried to get out of the room as fast as you could. Opening the door you almost bumped into someone, it was Melissa.
“hey hon, slow down, your gonna trip over someone-” The second grade teacher hushed, “hon, are you alright?” She continued. The care in her voice sent a pang of pain to your heart, you didn’t want to avoid her anymore, but you knew it was for the best. “Yeah Mel, I’m fine” you rushed past her, practically running to your classroom.
You slammed the door behind you and slumped down in your chair. You threw your head back and let out the breath you didn’t know you were holding. Not long after, you heard a knock on your door and you groaned at having to talk to someone when you were on the verge of tears.
“Go away Ava” you murmured, with your eyes closed. You heard the door open and you began to speak again “Ava I’m not in the mood-” when you opened your eyes you had realised your mistake. “Oh- Um, hey Mel, sorry I thought you were Ava coming to talk about one of the student’s dad or whatever” you half laughed trying to seem alright in front of the redhead. Mel perched herself on the side of your desk, crossing her arms. “care to tell me why you haven’t been coming to lunch?” She questioned with a raised brow. “I- I’m just catching up on marking”
You weren’t necessarily lying when you said that. Most off your time was actually spent grading papers, while the rest was spent either sleeping or wallowing in your own self pity. “For two weeks straight?” She frowned at your petty excuse. “Tell me what’s wrong Hon, please” she pleaded with you, but you couldn’t look at her, “why do you care, shouldn’t you be with Gary” the words left your tongue like venom, the very Mention of the man made your fist clench and your heart ache. “Why would I be with Gary?” She questioned, confused at the relevance he had in all of this. “I don’t know, maybe because you always are.” You mumbled, jealousy taking over your words. “Oh c’mon that’s not true and you know it” She reasoned. “Oh please, every time he’s here, you only talk to him.” You retorted.
Melissa grew silent after that, as she re shifted her focus to your face. You felt you face flush beat red under her unrelenting gaze. After a while, her furrowed brow raised as a smirk grew on her face. Melissa stood from her seated position on the side of your desk and sauntered her way toward you. As she stopped in front of you, she lent down and grabbed both of the arms on the chair. With her arms trapping you and her legs either sides of your now closed knees, you were practically unable to move.
“Are you jealous, hun?” She asked, the humour in her voice evident. “I-uh…No, why would I be?” You stuttered out, knowing you did not seem convincing at all, as you looked down and away from the woman. You felt one of her hands grasp your chin in her hand and forced you to look her in the eyes, “I want your eyes on me, sweetheart” she practically growled, “now, are you jealous of Gary?” She asked again, her voice significantly lower than before. You contemplated on lying to her again, but as you stared into her piecing eyes, you felt you brain go foggy from her close proximity.
“Well, I- uh…maybe, yes” you mumbled as you stared at her with an anxious look, “I- I like you Melissa, like really like you” Melissa’s eyes softened, as she smiled. “That’s good to know” she chuckled. Suddenly you felt Melissa’s lips meet yours, you froze at the sudden action but melted in to her soft touch shortly after. You whined as she pulled away with a smirk. “I like you too by the way” she laughed again at seeing the adoring look on your features. “Wait but I thought you liked Gary?” You questioned. “Oh please, sure he’s nice, but you? Your amazing hun, I’ve practically liked you ever since you got here” Melissa smiled sweetly at you. “I’ve like you since you got here too” you grinned back at her.
“I was thinking, how bout this weekend you could come over to mine and we can have dinner?” She asked, sounding very small as she spoke. You smiled at her hoping to comfort her, “I would love to Mel." She rose to a standing position, she kissed the top of your head as she did so. “I’ll see you later, hun” You watched as she left and you smiled to yourself at the feeling of lips that still lingered on both the top of your head and your own lips. You spun in your chair at the thought of dinner with Melissa.
Once you turned to the direction of the door, you saw Ava’s head appear from around the doorframe. As she walked in to the room you the look she was giving you, “tell me everything” she gasped with shared excitement.

“Is that-”
“Jenny.” Cassie whispered, “Yeah,”
“How did she-”
“I don’t know,” Cassie said, “I didn’t tell her where I moved to. I don’t know how she found me.”
Melissa gently embraced the shaking girl, “It’s okay. Listen, I’m gonna go to your apartment and grab you some clothes. And then…and then you can stay at my place until we sort this out.”
“Ms. Schemmenti I couldn’t impose-”
“You aren’t. It’s gonna be okay, Cassiopeia. We’ll sort this out.”
“I-I should call the cops-”
“No,” Melissa cut in, “Nothing good ever came from getting them involved. I’ll take care of it. I’m gonna have Barb take you to my house while I get your stuff,”
“No!” Cassie said, “I-I want to come with you.”
“Hon, are you sure? We don’t know if she’s still there or not.”
“Please?”
Melissa sighed, wiping a stray tear from the young woman’s cheek, “Okay. Okay, you can come. Let me go make our excuses with Ava.”
“Won’t we get in trouble for leaving early?”
“It’s a teacher workday. Things are more relaxed. Besides, Ava doesn’t care if we’re here or not. Get your stuff together and make a list of what you want to grab so we can be in and out quickly.”
Cassie nodded and the older woman left the room, her heeled boots clicking on the floor. She looked down at her phone and shuddered, quickly closing the photo and powering her phone off. Cassie stood and grabbed a piece of construction paper and a colored pencil from one of the shelves to start making a list of things to grab.
“Hey, sweetheart,” Barbara said, leaning on the doorframe, “Is everything okay? Melissa looked a bit ruffled when she passed my classroom.”
“Yeah, everything’s fine!” Cassie said quickly, “She just went to talk to Ava! She’ll be back.”
Barbara stepped into the room and lowered her voice, “Are you sure you’re okay? Your hands are shaking.”
“I-” Cassie paused and bit her lip, “It’s…it’s complicated. But Ms. Schemmenti is very kind and she’s helping me out.”
“Well, I’m glad Melissa is there for you. She seems to have developed a soft spot for you! If you ever need anything else, Gerald and I are happy to help.”
“I couldn’t possibly ask-”
“You aren’t asking, I’m offering. Really, Cassiopeia, you deserve love and kindness,” Barbara stepped forward and wrapped the younger woman into a hug.
Cassie froze and then the floodgates opened and she was sobbing into Barb’s shoulder.
“I’m just so scared, Mrs. Howard!” she sobbed.
“Oh, sweetheart, it’ll be okay! Melissa and I are going to take care of you!”
“Hey kid, you got your list…” Melissa trailed off as she entered the room and saw Cassiopeia wrapped in Barb’s arms, “What happened?”
“I hugged her and she just broke down. She says she’s scared.”
Melissa crossed the room quickly, picking up Cassie’s phone to make sure there wasn’t anything from Jenny. Once she was satisfied, she started gathering their things into her arms.
“Cassiopeia and I are leaving early. Something came up.”
“Melissa, is there something you want to tell me?” Barbara said, eyeing her over the top of Cassie’s head.
“I think it’s better you didn’t know,” Melissa said, gently coaxing Cassie out of Barbara’s embrace, “I don’t think you’d approve.”
“Melissa Schemmenti…” Barb started.
“Drop it Barb. Listen, I’ll call you tonight, okay? You can be mad at me all ya want but just trust me.”
Cassie sniffled and wiped her eyes, “Bye, Mrs. Howard.”
Barbara’s expression softened and she smiled sadly at her, “Bye, sweetheart. I’ll see you on Monday. And my offer still stands, okay? I’m a phone call away.”
Cassiopeia nodded and let Melissa guide her out of the classroom, down the hall, and out of the building.
“Do any of these cars belong to Jenny?” Melissa asked, pulling into a parking spot.
Cassie looked around and shook her head, “I don’t recognize any of them.”
“You got your list?”
Cassie held it up and Melissa grabbed it out of her hand and unbuckled, reaching behind her seat and pulling out a baseball bat.
“Stay here, I’ll go get everything.”
“Okay first, no, I’m coming with you. And second, WHY do you have a baseball bat in your car? And…please tell me that’s rust.”
“Yeah…rust. Let’s go with that,” Melissa said, making a mental note to wash her baseball bats later, “Are you sure you want to go inside?”
“Ms. Schemmenti, I haven’t unpacked anything. Even I don’t know where half of this stuff is. It’ll be easier if I come with.”
“Fine. Okay, but give me the keys. I’m going in first.”
Cassie dug her keys out of her bag and handed them over. Together, they walked up to the front door, which stood slightly ajar.
“Guess I don’t need these,” Melissa tossed the keys to Cassie, readied her bat and pushed the door the rest of the way open with her boot.
The apartment was quiet and dark. Melissa flicked the lights on and grimaced. All the glass in the apartment had been smashed and littered around and the words “Worthless Bitch” were carved into the wall and doused in red paint. Cassie pushed in front of her and grabbed a duffel bag, dumping the contents on the floor and walking around the room, careful to avoid the glass.
Melissa lowered her bat cautiously once she was sure no one was inside and went to the kitchen to grab the groceries she had left there. Her pizza dough sat untouched but she tossed it in the trash can just to be safe.
“She wouldn’t have poisoned that,” Cassie said softly, shoving a blanket into her duffel, “It’s not her style.”
“Not mine either,” Melissa muttered, going to help Cassie, “You don’t need a blanket kid. What, you think I’m gonna make ya sleep on the floor?”
Cassie blushed, “I-I didn’t know where I’d be sleeping,”
“I have a guest room. You just need clothes and toiletries. I’ve got everything else.”
Cassie paused and looked up at the redhead, “How long…”
“As long as you need to,” Melissa said, grabbing some random clothing items from a box, “I don’t care if it’s a day or a month. You’re not living here until Jenny is taken care of.”
“Taken care of? What is this, The Sopranos?” Cassie joked.
“Until she leaves town,” Melissa said, “Or until we find you a new apartment.”
“I can’t afford anything else…”
“Then I’ll help you. I’m gonna keep ya safe, kid. I’ll always catch you, remember?”
Cassie smiled softly and zipped her duffel bag, “Thank you, Ms. Schemmenti.”
“Cassiopeia, call me Melissa,”
“Thank you, Melissa.”
“You’re welcome. Now get back in the car. I’ll lock up.”
“Hey,” Melissa said, parking the car in her driveway, “Are you doing okay? I mean, your apartment…”
“Think I’ll get my security deposit back?” Cassie joked.
“Kid…”
“I’m okay, Melissa. It’s not the first time she’s done something like that. It’s better to just let her throw her tantrum. I’m less likely to get hurt that way.”
“Cassiopeia, this…you know this isn’t okay, right?”
Cassie shrugged, fiddling with the strap of her duffel bag, “It’s the way it’s always been,”
“That doesn’t make it okay though!”
“Can we please go inside? I-It’s been a long day.”
Melissa sighed and lead the younger woman up to the house.
“Melissa, this is…wow, your house is gorgeous!”
“It’s nothing really,” Melissa said, dropping her keys into a bowl and locking the door.
Cassie laughed, “I haven’t seen a plastic covered couch in years!”
“Yeah well, sometimes people spill and it’s easier to clean!” Melissa said defensively, taking the duffel bag out of Cassie’s hands, “Let me show you the guest room. It’s…it’s a little messy right now. I’ll change the sheets before you go to bed.”
The two women climbed the stairs, Cassie smiling at the family photos lining the walls. Melissa pushed open a door and set down the duffel bag.
“I’ll be right back,” she said, walking further down the hall to open a closet and retrieve fresh sheets.
Cassie set to work stripping the bed and then helped the older woman remake it, tucking the sheets in tightly.
“My room is right down the hall,” Melissa said, pulling her hair into a ponytail, “If you need anything tonight, and i mean anything, just come wake me up.”
“I’m not going to…”
“Kid, I wouldn’t offer if I didn’t mean it. Anything.” Cassie nodded, unzipping her duffel bag to retrieve something to sleep in. It was still light out, but the two women had hardly slept the night before.
“Bathroom is right next door,” Melissa said before closing the door so Cassie could change.
Once she had changed into a tank top and shorts, she took her bag of toiletries to the bathroom and set to work removing all of the makeup she had put on that morning. All the concealer on her neck was wiped clean and she winced slightly when she touched the bruises there.
Melissa knocked on the door softly, “Hon, I just wanted to let you know I’m heading to bed. I didn’t actually sleep at all last night. The doors are all locked and if you need ANYTHING, you come and wake me up.”
Cassiopeia opened the door and Melissa winced at the sight of the bruises on her neck.
“Thank you, Melissa. It means a lot that you’re letting me stay here.”
“Of course. If you get cold, there’s more blankets in the closet at the end of the hall. G’night.”
Melissa headed into her room, closing the door behind her and Cassie headed into the guest room, flipping off the lights and climbing into the bed.
An hour later, sleep was still not coming. She didn’t want to admit it, but after finding out that Jenny had found her, she was terrified. She tossed and turned, she practiced all of her breathing exercises, but the panic attack that had been brewing all evening was closing in on her.
Biting back a sob, she threw back the blankets and curled up on the cold wood floor, trying to ground herself. She knew she was safe, she knew Jenny didn’t know where she was now, yet her brain was still in overdrive.
Another hour of silent sobs passed and she finally decided enough was enough. She crept out of her room and down the hall to Melissa’s room. Slowly, she pushed the door open and tiptoed into the room.
The redhead was snoring softly and Cassie didn’t want to wake her. Instead she climbed into bed with her and laid her head on the pillows. They smelled like vanilla and the faint menthol scent that had lingered in Melissa’s car and…
Cassie frowned, feeling under the pillow and then snorted out a laugh.
“Do you really keep a baseball bat under your pillow?”
Melissa rolled over and hummed sleepily, “What you mean you don’t?”

What if Peter learned about Harley's existence through a phone call Tony answered in front of him? Excerpt from my Irondad longfic that serves as an adorable stand-alone of Harley-Tony goodness!
Wordcount: 887
* Peter and Tony were discussing something, when Tony's phone rang and he asked Peter if he minded answering. Peter said it was fine. He didn't regret it. *
“After a whole week of dodging my calls, sending me texts with barely-readable Gen Z slang and abbreviations, I'm borderline worried—nevertheless, happy to finally hear your voice, terrorist,” Tony sent into the phone, causing Peter to look up at him with surprised and confused eyes.
“You know what? I’m just gonna say this, and you make what you want out of it… Black bears simply aren’t eating enough people.”
Closing his eyes and letting out a breath through his nose, Tony prayed for strength and sanity, while Peter couldn’t help but snicker at the words his super hearing easily caught. He watched his mentor waiting for his answer, curiosity peaked.
“What did you do, Harley?”
“I mean… I know Rosehill is a town and all, but, dude! Climate change! Shouldn’t they, like, come down from the mountains and look for food and stuff in towns? Desperately rummaging through trash, finding nothing but our civilization's gloriously gross junk food - that even a hungry black bear wouldn’t touch - and then randomly eating a passerby?”
Peter snorted, trying to keep his amused vocalizations at the random tirade quiet, causing Tony to shake his head in terrified resignation at the inevitability of these two eventually meeting each other.
“And when I say randomly, I may or may not mean my English teacher,” Harley continued.
“What have I told you about applying yourself, Harley?” Tony asked, his resigned tone gaining an edge.
“Something that directly contradicts what you've told me about wasting my potential on frivolous things that won't matter in my future.”
“You see, Harley... The English language we're all jabbering away in, especially in those fancy colleges you're drooling over, doesn't fall into the category of frivolous things that won't matter for your future,” Tony stated.
“It's freaking Shakespeare, mech’!” Harley's voice was a whine now. “The man was crazy! A donkey-headed guy getting it on with fairy queens… I mean, come on!”
Biting his lower lip in an effort to keep himself from laughing, Tony took a deep breath, avoiding eye contact entirely with Peter, who was chuckling and shamelessly listening in to the conversation.
"Harley, we've had this chat before. You can't just bail on everything you don't like. You can’t expect you'll just breeze through school without breaking a sweat. You think MIT or Columbia will roll out the red carpet for you if you flunk everything except math, chem, and science?"
“I already got the lecture from Ava, man. Give me a break, here.”
“I'll give you a break when you give me one, terrorist. But until then, park yourself and hit the books. It's not rocket science; we're talking about fairy tales and donkey-faced characters here. If you can crack quadratic equations without even bothering with homework, I'm pretty sure you can handle Shakespeare.”
“That's torture!”
“No, Hamlet is torture. And you know what else will be torture? Whatever your mom and I come up with if you don’t start putting in some serious effort! You got a week to start straightening things out, Harl, or Ava and I will straighten you out instead. Capiche?”
“But wouldn’t it be a lot more cost-effective if you called school -all Tony Stark and shit - and demanded that I be excused from Shakespeare altogether? Oh, I know! We can make it a religious thing… Like studying Shakespeare goes against my religious dogma! That’s dope! They won’t be able to fight that if it comes from you…”
"Alright, kid, first things first: lay off the Red Bull. Second, if you put half as much effort into hitting the books as you do trying to wriggle out of this, we wouldn't even be having this chat. There's no shortcut around it. Buckle down and get to work."
“So that’s a no to my against-my-religion master plan?”
“That’s a no!”
“I hate you more than Shakespeare hated sanity,” came the resigned answer from the other line.
“Study, donkey-head,” Tony emphasized with a roll of his eyes before hanging up.
“I knew you had a kid hidden somewhere,” Peter said with a smirk.
Letting out a snort, Tony shook his head. "Harley isn't my kid, Pete. We bumped into each other a few years ago, and we've stayed in touch since then."
“That sounded like more than just staying in touch,” Peter commented, eyeing the man. “That’s how you roast me, too."
"Smooth talk, as always, Pete," Tony smirked. "I do lend a hand with Harley, but it's a bit of a different ball game. He's down in Tennessee, so it's more of a long-distance gig. The universe is not done testing me, though, and you two will get to meet. He spends some of his school breaks and a couple of weeks in summer here.”
“So you just habitually collect kids to part-time parent?” Peter asked with a small smile and a raised eyebrow.
Tony gaped at Peter as the kid’s deadpan statement registered. “I… don't have a retort to that.

infantilism: the musical
All characters are 18+
cw: abdl, messy diapers, diaper change
“Stop, stop, stop.”
Kayleigh obediently stopped, mid-verse, and stepped back, turning to face Ava, the director, who stood at the back of the auditorium. Grace, who was the musical director but also the pianist, and therefore facing in the opposite direction, gave the leading actress a sympathetic grin and pushed her stool away from the keyboard, reaching down for the water bottle that they all knew was a necessity if they wanted to make it through the long hours of rehearsal in this overheated room without gaining blinding headaches along the way.
“Everything OK?”
“It’s missing something,” the director declared, and Kayleigh worked very hard not to roll her eyes. A similar declaration had been made at least three times a day ever since they started rehearsing for this production. Plenty of somethings had been added, and most of them had been taken out again shortly afterwards when the director changed her mind about it after a night’s sleep.
But it was just one of those things that you had to put up with when you did amateur dramatics — you got amateur directors.
“Like what?” Kayleigh inquired, as politely as she could manage, sitting down on the stage with an audible squish and crossing her legs. She’d been standing, walking, and dancing for four hours and counting by now, and if there was an opportunity for an impromptu break then she was absolutely going to take it. “A tap routine? Or a male voice choir? Or a saxophone solo? Or —”
“No, no, none of that. It needs more whimsy. Something like…” The director paused. “Kay, would you stand up and sit down again for me?”
The actress shrugged. “Sure?” She hopped up to her feet and then, somewhat awkwardly, sat down again. Same squish.
“I thought I heard something!”
“Yeah, I need a change.” Kayleigh brushed a hand through her hair. “Sorry, and all that, but —”
“No, no, don’t you see? It’s perfect! That’s what we need!”
Kayleigh and Grace exchanged a series of looks, and at long last, Kayleigh accepted defeat. “What’s what we need?”
“More verisimilitude!”
“Bless you.”
“You’re a baby, right? So why are you standing singing sophisticated stuff with harmonies and counterpoints?”
Grace intervened. “Because that’s what you asked me to write.”
“Yes, yes, yes.” Ava waved a dismissive hand. “But it doesn’t fit! And now I know why! It’s too grown-up.”
“Too grown-up?”
“We have a nursery setting, so we need nursery music!”
“Like… The Wheels on the Bus?”
“No, no. This is an original musical.”
“Oh, of course. Silly me.”
“What we need,” Ava continued, the light of creation in her eyes, “is a score that feels at home in a nursery. We need rattles. We need banging blocks. We need a kind of… nursery ambience. The authentic sounds of the nursery.”
“I cannot conceivably score a musical for rattle and teething ring, Ava.”
“Sure you can.”
Kayleigh stifled a yawn. “So are you guys going to need me for this? Only like I said, I could kinda use a change.”
“And it’s past her naptime,” Grace added, striking a gentle discord on the piano. “Let her go, Ava. She’ll only get fussy otherwise, and we need to work on this.”
The director sighed. “Fine, whatever. Will you put her down, Grace? I’ll try and brainstorm a bit.”
“I guess.” Grace stood up from the stool and stretched, her shoulders cracking. “Ready, Kay?”
“Sure.” The actress got up, taking her friend’s hand. “See you, Ava.”
“See you, Kay. Have a good nap.”
The two exited stage right, leaving the auditorium through a little-used side door, and began the short walk back to Kayleigh’s nearby accommodation.
“Do you think we’re ever actually gonna finish?”
Grace sighed. “Your guess is as good as mine. She doesn’t seem to get it. I can’t just write whole new songs overnight. Maybe there are people who can, but I’m not one of them, and if it goes on like this much longer, there won’t be anything left of the original concept at all.”
Kayleigh squeezed her shorter friend’s hand tightly. “I know you can do it.”
Grace laughed briefly. “Swap you? You write it, I’ll sing it.”
“I don’t think that would end well.” Kayleigh fumbled in her pocket to find her room key, letting them both into her apartment, and Grace wrinkled her nose as they entered.
“Wow, you really do need a change.”
The actress blushed. “Sorry. It was that curry night at the students’ union.”
“Yeah, no kidding. Get your butt on the mat, girl.”
Meekly, Kayleigh laid down on the changing mat which was the centrepiece of her living space, and there was a rustle of fabric as Grace flipped up the other girl’s skirt.
“You reek. Well, here goes nothing.” As was her wont, Grace began humming something faintly soothing under her breath. Whether she meant to calm herself or Kayleigh, the latter was never entirely sure, but it was nice, and so she didn’t question it. She wriggled a little on the mat as the other girl gave her bum an exploratory squeeze, and then couldn’t help giggling as Grace tore the four tapes, one by one, perfectly in time with the rhythm of her tune.
“What are you humming?”
“It’s, uh…” Grace frowned and hummed a few more bars as she tried to remember. “No idea. Something I made up, I think. I always just think of it as Kayleigh’s Stinky Song.”
The actress attempted to swat her friend’s face, but the other girl pulled back and she missed dramatically. “It’s cool, I like it. Title needs some work, though.”
“It’s nothing special.” Grace peeled back the front of her friend’s nappy and pulled a face. “Girl, we are so totally doing something about your diet. This is gross.”
“I can change myself, you know.”
“Eh, what are friends for?” The humming resumed as Grace pulled the baby wipes towards her and opened the lid of the packet with a click.
Kayleigh lay back and enjoyed the tickle of the wipes against her skin, and the soothing notes of the music. “Grace?”
“Yeah?”
“You know that thing you’re humming?”
“Yeah?”
“Would you say it’s an original soundtrack?”
Halfway across Kayleigh’s bottom, the wipe paused, and so did the tune.
“You know, I guess I would.”
“The authentic sounds of the nursery, right?”
“And nurseries don’t get much more authentic than this.”
“Grace!”

You get home and you get the stroller out for the twins and then hand it to Melissa while you get Amelia. Melissa expertly sets up the stroller and then puts the twins in it. You all head inside and set Amelia up on the tv while Melissa sets the twins down for their nap. You don’t even question why she’s taking longer, you know she must have missed them and now you both can spend the entire summer, the 5 of you, just being together.
“Mommy?” Amelia pipes up.
“Yes honey?” You asked as you were sitting on the couch and Amelia on a little chair that Jacob got her for her birthday.
“How did you and Mamma met?” She asked just as Melissa was coming down the stairs.
“Well how we met was where we work.” You told her.
“I know that, but how?” Amelia asks.
“Oh, do you want the story, little Tesoro?” Melissa asks her and she nods. Melissa picks Amelia up and sits on the couch beside you with Amelia on her lap. “Well it all started about 9 years ago…
*9 years ago*
You were walking into Abbott Elementary, excited to start your first day as the new aide for Melissa Schemmenti.
You walk into the front office and get your badge and Ava brings you to the break room to meet Melissa.
Melissa was running late that morning as she overslept from staying up late making 2 lesson plans. She went to walk to the break room when she runs right into someone.
“Oh I’m so sorry, are you ok?” You say and stabilise whoever it was.
“Ya I’m fine. Are you okay?” Melissa asks and looks up to see the other person and you both lock eyes.
You look at her and your mouth goes dry, she was beautiful. “Um *clears throat* ya ya, I’m fine.”
“Oh well this is perfect, Melissa, this is your new aide y/n y/l/n.” Ava pipes up.
“Oh, perfect.” She says with a sigh and rolls her eyes.
“I was told she’ll be better than Ashley.” Ava says.
“She better be.” Melissa says and then looks at you. “Hey kid, why don’t you head down to the classroom and get settled, I’m just going to go get a coffee.” She says as she hands you the classroom key.
“Oh, where’s the classroom?” You ask as you take the key.
“Ava, you’re not doing anything, why don’t you show her where my classroom is.” Melissa says and then walks away, not giving Ava a chance to reply.
Ava brings you to her classroom and you go in. You’re shocked at the amount of desks there are. “How many students are in this class?” You ask Ava.
“It’s a split second and third grade class. 15 second graders and 10 third graders.” She tells you and you sigh.
“No wonder she needs an aide.” You say and Ava smiles.
“Alright I’m going back to my office.” Ava says and walks out.
You find the extra desk at the other end of the classroom and put your stuff down on it. You take a look around the classroom when Melissa walks in.
“Alright kid, I’m gonna be blunt with you. The first aide I had, she sucked, I got less work done with her here. So you better actually be helpful or I won’t hesitate to tell Ava to fire you.” She says and you’re taken back.
“Um, uh, alright.” You tell her.
“You alright?”
“I’m just, um, you’re a little intimidating is all.” You tell her and she smiles.
“Well good, then hopefully we won’t have a problem.” She tells you. She then goes over the lesson plan for today and what you’ll need to do today and you listen to her every word carefully.
After the first day she was impressed by how helpful you were. After about a month she decided to start being nicer to you as you proved you weren’t another Ashley. She noticed that at lunch time, you stay in the classroom and type on your laptop.
“Hey kid, why don’t you come and have lunch with us in the break room?” She asks you and look up from your laptop.
“I would love to, but I gotta finish this paper for school.” You tell her and that caught her interest.
“You go to school?” She asks and you nod.
“Trying to complete my teaching degree.” You tell her and she smiles. No wonder you were a good aide. She looks over at your laptop and takes a look at the paper you’re working on, she then brings both your lunches to the classroom and helps you with your paper.
After that day, you notice a change in Melissa, she actually has conversations with you now, she helps you with your teaching degree, she gives you her phone number for just in case, and she once split her lunch with you when you forgot one. And you have to admit that the lunch she shared with you was the best thing you ever had. There was something about you that just drawed her to you, she doesn’t want to but she’s attracted to you. After a month of working with you everyday, she’s developed a small crush on you. She has no idea where you stand though, maybe she should try flirting with you.
3 months pass by and you run into the break room one morning in search of Melissa. “Melissa! Melissa! Melissa!” You yell down the hall and you see her when you burst into the break room and she’s looking at you curiously.
“What’s up hon?” She asks you.
“I passed!” You tell and her jaw drops as she stands up.
“Are you serious?” She asks and you nod with a huge smile.
“I got 90%!!!” You exclaim. “I got my teaching certificate!” You shout and she runs and hugs you.
“Congratulations hon!” She tells you.
3 months pass by and it was the end of the school year and the end of you being her aide. You and Melissa decided to keep in contact as you became friends. Ava comes in to the break room at lunch to talk to you.
“Hey y/n.” She calls for you and you turn to look at her.
“Yes?”
“Wanted to let you know that you got the teaching position for third grade.” Ava tells you and you gasp.
“Are you serious?” Ava nods.
Melissa invites you over that night for dinner to celebrate your new job at Abbott. She gets you to taste test her food and she brings the spoon to your mouth as you take a taste. As soon as it hits your taste buds you let out a small moan. You swallow and Melissa is looking at you stunned. Before you can react, she puts her lips on yours and you kiss her back.
The two of you go out for a month before you have sex for the first time. You had a date at her place and it’s the start of August right now so you decided to wear a short dress and it shows some cleavage as well. Melissa keeps looking at your legs and chest the entire time and you see her eyes are blown a bit and she licks her lips multiple times that night. Melissa puts the dishes in the sink then goes out to the dinner table where you’re clearing the table. You’re bending over a bit to reach the other side of the table when Melissa pulls your body up against hers and kisses your neck. She has her left hand placed on your stomach to hold you to her and the other one is touching the exposed skin of your chest.
“It’s like you want me to snap and make you mine.” She tells you and you moan. “Is that what you want, baby? Want to be mine?” She asks with a husky voice and you gasp as she sucks on your neck.
“Yes! Yes that’s what I want. I want you to fuck me so good Mel.” You tell her and she smirks. Her right hand goes down from your chest and cups your boob through your dress.
“I see you decided to not wear a bra, naughty girl.” She whispers in your ear and you shiver.
“Want to know something else?” You ask her.
“And what would that be?” She asks you.
“I’m also not wearing any underwear.” You tell her and you don’t see the way her eyes are fully blown and all her self control leaves her. She brings you up against the nearest wall and trails kisses down your neck. She then hooks her fingers around your dress straps and you nod at her. She pulls them off your shoulders and lets the dress fall, and true to your words, you were completely bare underneath. She takes a few seconds to look at your body and she licks her lips.
“You’re beautiful.” She tells you and takes a nipple into her mouth. You moan and put your arms on her shoulders so you don’t fall to the floor. Melissa seems to understand your struggle and moves you to sit on the dinner table, the side you didn’t use to eat. As soon as you’re sitting on the table, she goes to put your other nipple in her mouth and you moan. You put your hands in her hair and hold her head to your nipple as it’s been awhile since you’ve had a skillful tongue on your breasts. She trails kisses down your stomach and she gets on her knees and keeps your legs separated. She then connects her mouth to your entrance and licks a long strip up and you gasp. She then puts her tongue in your entrance and starts sliding it in and out. You grab her head and keep it to your pussy so she doesn’t move as it feels so good.
Melissa is enjoying the fact that you want to keep her there, even if she’s getting less oxygen. She then brings a finger to your clit and rubs circles on it, you start bucking your hips and you’re slow close now. “Omg Mel, I’m so close.” You tell her and she moans. Your legs start to shake and your toes are curling and then you come seconds later. Melissa licks it all up and then she stands up. She connects her lips with yours and you taste yourself on her and you moan at that. She then slides a finger in your entrance while she’s kissing you and you gasp and pull her closer to you.
“You’re so willing for me aren’t ya? So willing for me to ruin you and make you mine.” She almost growls in your ear. She then adds a second finger and puts her thumb to your clit and you cry out.
“Omg! Yes Mel! Please ruin me!” You scream out then you whimper. It makes Melissa go faster and your legs start shaking.
“Come on baby, come for me.” She tells you and you cum for a second time.
You put your head on her shoulder to catch your breath while she pulls out of you and wraps her arms around you. Once you catch your breath you take the hand of hers that was in you, and put her two fingers she used in your mouth and you lick her fingers clean and you moan.
“Oh fuck hon.” She says breathless and then she whimpers. You then go to take her shirt off and she helps you by raising her arms, her bra following quickly after that. You go to kiss her neck but then she leads you to her nipples and you put one in your mouth. She gasps at the sensation and then you suck on it and she bucks her hips. While licking and sucking her nipples, you roam your hands all over her stomach and moan at feeling her soft skin. She notices this and it gives her a confidence boost as she was a bit self conscious about her stomach. “You love my body hon?” She asks you and you nod then switch to her other nipple. She lets you lick and suck her other nipple for 20 seconds before she gets impatient and pulls you away. “Then prove it, get on your knees for me, and make me cum with just your tongue.” She tells you and you get off the table and onto your knees. She spreads her legs for you and then you attach your mouth to her clit. You start licking and sucking and she leans forward to hold on to the table and moans. “Oh god baby! Yes keep coming, your mouth and tongue feel so good.” She says very breathy.
You do a rather hard suck on her clit and she falls to her elbows on the table. While sucking on her clit, you bring your hands up to cup her breasts as they’re right above your head, and play with the nipples. Her legs start to shake as she’s getting closer to an orgasm.
“Baby, put your fingers in me please. It’s been so long.” She says and while she said just your tongue at first, you won’t disobey her. You stick 2 fingers in her and she gasps. You stick a third finger in her and she cries out and then comes. You slow down inside of her and then pull out. Before you can react, she’s kneeling down to your level and pulls your legs so that you’re sitting with your legs out and she starts grinding your thigh. “Lick the fingers that were inside of me.” She tells you and you obey. “Mmm, so obedient.” She says and grinds on your thigh faster. You go and put a nipple in your mouth and she puts her hands in your hair. It doesn’t take her long for her to cum a second time. She slows down and catches her breath on you. She kisses you for a few seconds and then her breath evens out. “Thank you for sticking your fingers in me, it’s been awhile since something has been inside of me.”
“It’s not a problem Mel.” You tell her and then kiss her. In the morning she has you put the strap on and lay on your back while she rides it. You watch as the strap fills her entrance until it’s fully in and then she starts riding it. It’s such an amazing sight to see and it’s all for you. She comes and that’s when an idea pops in your mind. While she’s blissed out, you pull her off and then get behind her and put the strap in her and start fucking her from behind.
“Uh? Y/n…what are you- OMG!” She says and lets you pound into her as it feels so good. You find her clit and rub it and she falls forward as she screams out. You keep her hips lifted and the new angle makes it even better. She comes not even a minute after the first one. You don’t stop though as you’re just about to come as well and she notices. She feels her third building fast. “Y/n…come… with me… baby.” She says as her legs start to shake along with yours.
You cum and then the sound of you cumming sends her over the edge herself. You slow down inside of her and then pull out carefully. You take the strap off and then cuddle into her.
“Wow hon, where did that come from?” She asks with a giggle and you blush.
“I don’t know, it just came to my mind so I did it.”
“Hmm, well it was a nice surprise, it felt really good. But just remember that I’m in charge in the bedroom.” She tells you sternly.
“What if we fuck outside of the bedroom?” You respond slyly and she looks at you for a second before she bursts out laughing. She then tickles your sides and you start giggling, “ah Mel.” You say through giggles.
“You want to be sly then this is what you get.” She tells you while she’s laughing.
“Ok I surrender! I surrender! I got no white flag because I’m naked.” You said and she sighs happily and stops tickling you.
“Naked is how I prefer you.” She whispers in your ear and you smile at her.
“Hmm, naked is how I prefer you too.” You tell her and she smiles at you. “Hey Mel.” You say and look at her and she’s looking at you. “I love you.” You tell her and she beams.
“I love you too Amore.” She tells you and you smile and kiss her.
*11 months later*
Melissa is putting the finishing touches on the cannoli she made for you guys before putting it in the fridge. She wants everything to be perfect for your one year anniversary.
She hears the door open followed by a “Mel, I’m here!” You yell and she runs out of the kitchen and right to you. She reaches you and picks you up and spins you around. “Ahh!” You scream as she took you by surprise.
“HAPPY ANNIVERSARY AMORE!” She yells and you giggle. She puts you down and kisses your lips and you kiss her back.
You reach in your pocket and pull out an envelope and hand it to her. “Happy Anniversary Mel.” You tell her and she smiles at you.
“You didn’t have to get me anything Amore. The fact that you’re mine already makes me happy everyday.” She tells you and you smile.
“Nevertheless, open it, open it, open it! I’ve had to keep this a secret for 2 months.” You tell her and she giggles at your excitement.
“Alright I’m opening it.” She says and opens the envelope and pulls out the contents and stares in shock. “What? But these are really good seats… to an eagles game.” She says in disbelief and looks at you confused.
“I know a guy.” You tell her.
“Woman after my own heart.” She tells you and kisses you. “Thank you Amore.” She tells you and boops your nose.
You then go to her ear to whisper something. “I’m wearing your other gift.” You whisper and she shivers. You see her eyes go black with lust at that and you see a conflict in her.
“B-but… the food…it’s ready.” She says then looks at you. “Show me first.” She tells you and you pull your dress up to show her a small red lingerie dress and she becomes breathless.
“We should eat the food Mel.” You tease her and she picks you up with a growl.
“I’m gonna eat you first.” She says and pushes you up against a wall.
*1 year later*
You open her door to the house and she runs to you and kisses you after a hard day at work and all the stress leaves her body instantly.
“Happy anni-”
“Move in with me.” She blurts out and you look at her stunned.
“What?”
“Will you move in with me?” She asks you and you smile.
“Yes!” You tell her and she kisses you passionately.
*1 year later*
“Mel, I had to go to 3 different stores to find the exact ingredients you wanted.” You tell her as you walk into your shared home. You turn around and see Melissa coming towards you and pulls you to the kitchen. You walk into the kitchen and you see the meal you had when she first kissed you. You look at her and she’s smiling but also nervous about something.
“Amore, it’s in this very spot where the most important moment of my life happened. I couldn’t resist you any longer and I kissed you. And as soon as I did, I knew I’d want to spend the rest of my life kissing you.” She says and you’re confused as to what’s going on. “I was making this exact pasta for you when you got a full time job at Abbott.” She tells you and brings a spoon up to your mouth to get you to taste it. And it tastes just like it did 3 years ago and you hum. “Your first reaction was better.” She teases you and you giggle. “3 years ago we started going out and I don’t regret a single moment with you. You’re the love of my life Amore and I want you to be mine forever.” She says and gets down on one knee and pulls out a ring box. You gasp and she has a smile on her.
“Y/n, will you marry me?” She asks and before she opens the ring box, you tackle her into a hug.
“Yes yes yes yes yes!” You say.
“Woah!” Melissa says as she’s pulled back by the hug and falls to the floor with you in her arms. You kiss her lips and smile at her and she smiles at you.
*1 year later*
“I’m so nervous.” You say, pacing around the living room to one of her siblings' houses. You can’t remember which one at the moment as there’s too many thoughts in your head.
“Relax honey.” Your mom tells you. “It’s just pre wedding jitters. That girl out there loves you with her whole being. She’s not going to leave you.” Your mom tells you. Your mom is giving you a way today as your father just had a surgery and is walking with a cane for a couple months and can’t stand for too long. “You look beautiful honey.” Your mom tells you. You got the wedding dress of your dreams and your whole family put their money together to get it for you. “Now let’s go outside to that backyard and get you married to that bride out there who can’t stop smiling.” She tells you and you smile.
“She’s been smiling a lot?” You ask her.
“A few people have told her to stop for a bit or her cheeks will hurt before the night ends.” Your mom tells you and you link her arm with yours.
The people you chose to stand with you make their way down the aisle, then a little cousin of Melissa’s goes down and places flowers. Then the wedding song starts everyone stands up and looks at you. You emerge from the crowd and you and Melissa lock eyes. You see her in the best white pantsuit you’ve ever seen and she makes it even better and it takes your breath away.
“Fuck.” Melissa mutters. Only quiet enough for Barb, who’s marrying you two, could hear. You see all of Melissa’s siblings standing there beside her. And you see your long time best friends, as well as Janine and Jacob, standing near where you’re going to be. You walk down the aisle with your mom and you get closer and closer to your future wife. You eventually reach her and your mom joins your hands together and looks at Melissa with a glare.
“Don’t fuck it up.” She tells her sternly.
“I don’t plan too, I’d be an idiot if I did.” Melissa tells your mom and then looks at you and smiles more. “You look beautiful Amore.” She tells you with heart eyes. Barb starts the wedding and you and Melissa look at each other, both of you have hearts as eyes.
“And as I understand it, you two have written your own vows.” Barb says and you both nod.
Melissa goes to pull hers out and looks at it and then puts it back. “I know what I really want to say to you.” She says and then takes a deep breath. “When we first met, I didn’t like you. You were hired to be my aide and I got traumatised from my previous aide. You proved how good of an aide and teacher you are to those kids and to me. And somewhere in that time I became attracted to you. It took me a few months before I actually did something about my feelings, when I kissed you in the kitchen. Best and most important kiss of my life. You have been so patient with me and I never felt rushed or pressured with you, and I couldn’t be happier than to be able to love you everyday and now to be able to call you my wife.” She tells you and a tear falls down your cheek, Melissa wipes your tear away and then you go to speak.
“I should have gone first because you made me forget my entire vow.” You say and she chuckles, as well as a few people in the crowd. “Melissa, when I first laid eyes on you after bumping into you in the hall, you were the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. I thought you were out of my league and was scared when I got feelings for you. I never thought I’d be able to even kiss you but now here you are, about to be my wife. My feelings and love for you has only grown since that first moment in the hallway and I know I will continue to love you more each and every day of my life.” You tell her and her eyes become watery. You’re two focused looking at Melissa that you barely register you two putting the rings on each other and everything else that’s said until Barb says those last words.
“I now pronounce you wife and wife, you may now kiss the bri-” Barb doesn’t get to finish as Melissa takes you and gives you a passionate kiss.
*a year and a half later*
“I want a baby.” Melissa suddenly says as you’re cuddling on the couch together and you turn to her.
“What?”
“I want a kid. I’ve always wanted one and never got the chance. I thought it wouldn’t happen for me so I gave it up but I’ve recently been thinking that I still want a child.” Melissa tells you and you smile.
“I want a child too.” You tell her and she smiles at you.
“Really?” She asks and you nod.
“Why don’t we start tonight?” You tell her and she immediately picks you up and brings you to the bedroom.”
*present day*
“It took a few months but then eventually we got news that mommy was pregnant with you and we were thrilled. Then she got pregnant with the twins and we were so happy. We married the love of our lives, and we have 3 kids now that we love.” Melissa explains and Amelia is looking at her confused while you’re looking at her with adoration in your eyes. You always loved remembering you and Melissa’s past, how you fell in love and built your family.
Amelia goes to play with her toys on the floor while you and Melissa cuddle.
“I love you Mel.” You tell her.
“I love you too Amore.” She tells you and gives you a kiss.

Child!Yuu in Twisted Wonderland!
Here is a little link if you want to know a little more about this Yuu. https://www.tumblr.com/Little Yuu ideas! \^o^/ This is just how I think it would go when my Child!Yuu enters Twisted Wonderland!
"Yuu?"
"YUU?!"
A familiar voice snapped Yuu out of their thoughts. "Yeah?" Yuu says, lifting their head to make eye contact with the owner of the voice, Yuu's close friend, Ava, "Ya gonna eat that?" Ava is pointing at the roll on Yuu's lunch tray, "Cause if you're not, I want it."
"Oh....I'm not. Here you go." Yuu says passing the roll to Ava, only for her to turn back to they're other friends at the lunch table, ignoring Yuu once again...This was the routine that happened every day since Yuu and her friends started middle school. They wouldn't talk to Yuu unless they wanted something then once they got it, they would completely ignore Yuu like they were a ghost. No matter how many times Yuu would try to speak they would just get ignored over and over again...I can't really blame them it's not like we're in the same classes anyway, so it's probably just a bit awkward trying to talk to me. Is what Yuu would tell themselves after the cycle repeated itself.
Maybe I need a breather...? Yeah, I should go wash my face or something like that. And with that thought, Yuu excused themselves from the lunch table to use the restroom. "I'll be right back guys." As Yuu got up from the table not a single one of their so-called friends responded, they didn't even give Yuu a glance or a nod, just silence. Almost like Yuu didn't even exist in their world.
Yuu took one of the bathroom passes off an empty table and retreated to the restroom. Much to Yuu's relief, no one was in there. It was just them, all alone. They stood in front of a mirror and a sink, looking at their reflection before they splash their face with some icy cold water. Even with the freezing water against their face it still felt uncomfortably hot...Geez, Yuu. Ava just asked for some bread that you knew you weren't going to eat, so why are you so upset? Yuu couldn't quite understand why they were feeling so...yucky. The nasty warm face that they only got when they were having anxiety, not to mention the empty pit they felt in their stomach. Maybe it was from the fact that they haven't really eaten anything today or maybe it was also from this uncalled-for unease.
Well, whatever it was, Yuu knows they can't stay in the bathroom for too long or the teachers will come to check on them, and they can't have that, now can they? I guess it's time to head back. Once Yuu dries their face off with the top of their shirt, they turn to head out of the restroom.... Why is my vision so blurry? Everything Yuu sees starts to contort and blur into each other. Yuu also starts to sway from side to side slightly in a zombie like mannerism.... Ouch my head! What's happening..? Before Yuu had the chance to balance themselves everything went black........
.
.
.
.
Once Yuu opened their eyes all they could see is black...? Huh?! Did I go blind!? No, no, don't be overdramatic, Yuu. I'm sure you'll be fine. Once Yuu attempts to calm down at this weird situation, they slowly move their hands in front of them to get a feel of their surroundings. Their hands press against a wood like wall that feels cold to the touch causing Yuu to wince back. Seriously, where am I? Before Yuu could think another thought-
BANG
BANG
The sudden banging quickly made Yuu back up into the corner of this cramped place. What the hell was that?! As Yuu thought, there was another voice that was coming from outside the box Yuu is trapped in. "I better hurry up and find that uniform before someone spots me... Urgggh... This lid weighs a ton! Try this on for a size! Mya-ha!" As soon as the voice finished speaking, blue flames engulfed the area around Yuu!
"AHHHH!!!" Yuu quickly shut their eyes tight and covered their face with their arms, "What?! You ain't supposed to be awake!" The voice says in a surprised voice. Since Yuu didn't feel any fire burn them, they slowly pecked their eyes open, still keeping their arms over their face. Yuu could now see the surrounding area outside the box. There were floating coffins running along the sides of the room with a large black mirror hovering over the floor in the middle of the room. Although, the thing that immediately caught Yuu's attention was a small grey cat standing on its hind legs in front of Yuu. The cat also had blue flames just like the ones before coming out of its ears with a pitchfork tail! Why does this seem so familiar...? Yuu glances around the bizarre room once more before it finally settles in.
"Am I in Twisted Wonderland..?"
Hope you enjoyed this little fanfic or whatever I just made is called. I don't know if I'm the best at writing, but I at least tried, right? Oh, and I'm going to start working on those requests I asked you guys for now. ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

a college theater au that's been in the back of my mind and just gonna let free for shenanigans because why not
"Bea can do it!"
silence drops suddenly, swiftly, completely throughout the black box. Beatrice doesn't know if she's ever felt the theater be this still as she herself freezes, half-kneeling in the midst of the cables she was arranging, carefully not looking at neither Shannon -one of her oldest friends and the director and the one who can and will see everything on her face- nor at Ava -her best friend, her (supposedly not so, according to Shannon) secret crush- who plows forward with her trademark fervor and lack of grace.
"she’s been helping me with all my lines -"
"helping is a strong word," Bea mutters to herself.
"- and she already knows all the blocking-"
"because that's my job"
"and the audience is gonna love her even more than they love me. Shannon, think of how good it could be!"
Beatrice can feel Shannon wavering but final project or not, Beatrice has to protest. "Ava, i can’t possibly stage manage and act at the same time.”
"it's not impossible," Shannon says thoughtfully, "and it's just for one of the plays."
"we can all help out," Mary chimes in, not even looking up from her screen as she continues programming the lighting. the others are already nodding and smiling encouragingly and for once in her life, Beatrice wants to curse: this production for bringing together her most favorite and the most supportive of people; JC for being a kind-hearted son who'd dropped everything -including this production- to take care of his suddenly ill mother; and Ava for her logic and that pout and that look in her eyes -
breathe, her mind commands, and she does, sharply, deeply. goes over the facts: opening night is 2 weeks away; it's one play in a half-dozen collection of 1-act plays; the production is worth 40% of Shannon's final grade; no one else can help. in her mind, Beatrice tries to argue the last point - tries to suggest one of the other actors but she knows that both Camila and Lilith have their hands full with their roles for the other short plays; tries to suggest finding someone else but how could they possibly audition and rehearse with someone completely new in the time they have left?
then she makes a mistake, a classic one: she catches Ava's eye. finds in Ava's gaze hope and encouragement wrapped up in that warm regard that makes Beatrice do stupid things - like trying every ice cream store within a 10 mile radius of campus and having to deal with Ava's inevitable stomachache; like staying up until 2am watching Beatrice's favorite documentaries because had Ava insisted, because Ava'd said she was interested; like letting herself start to believe - that maybe, just maybe Ava could feel the same way too.
like saying: "fine." sighs for good measure "fine."
Ava cheers and Beatrice doesn't miss the relief that moves through everyone else -she ignores Shannon's swiftly hidden grin- then stands still when Ava bounds towards her and kisses her on the cheek.
"there's more where that came from," Ava giggles, waggling her eyebrows as she shimmies away and Beatrice freezes for a second time that day.
because she forgot.
the kiss.
fuck, Beatrice thinks - knows the only one she curse for this is herself.
