Modest Fashion– New Fashion wave of the Present Era
Modest fashionable clothing has become the fashion style of the recent time among the women of the Islamic communities; the chic and dressing sense of the Muslim women has been wonderfully explained through Goltune News.
It is truly an amazing thing to notice that a woman can look modern, yet after putting on the modest dresses. In the recent time, modest fashion has become the new wave of fashion style in the fashion industry. There was a time when Muslim women were always oppressed and not allowed to wear dresses except the traditional wears. But, since the fashion trend always keeps on changing, it is important for the Muslim women to get recognized and create a separate identity in the fashion world; hence Muslim designers are designing modest fashionable dresses to highlight the modest clothing and build a unique identity of Islamic women.
Modest clothing is not limited within in the Islamic community women. Today the younger generation woman of the non-Muslim community has been found embracing the fashion chic of modest clothing. The fact is evident with the growing number of events based on the modest fashion at universities such as Fordham, Princeton & in the London college of Fashion in the present months. The traditional covering up apparel of Islam has become nowadays a bold choice for both the Islamic and Non Islamic community women.
The modest fashionable dressings have become now the headline in the mainstream fashion. The Muslim designers are creating collections that not only cover the body but give an appealing modern look to an Islamic woman. To showcase the new stylish modest apparels, the Muslim models have been poising catwalks and magazine covers at a record rate. Halima Aden was the foremost Muslim modeler to walk in the Milan fashion and in the New York fashion weeks. On the other hand, Mariah Idrissi was the first to cast in the high street fashion campaign by putting on the hijabs.
Islamic women were long oppressed and were ignored by the mainstream fashion industry. But, with the increasing women empowerment, the Muslim women fashion has undergone a massive change in the past few years. An exhibition was held to dedicate the fashion consciousness Islamic women. The main motto of this exhibition was to focus on the modest fashionable dresses which have become the hub of fashion industry nowadays.
The Muslim fashion designers have termed this rising trend of fashion as the modest style which has evolved by combining the modesty and modernity. This particular trend of fashion is increasingly becoming popular in the fashion industry. Jill D’ Alessandro commented that Islamic women are spending $44 billion on the fashionable apparel and this craze is rising day by day.
Not just a change in the fashion trend of stylish modest wear is the topic of discussion today; the recent epoch has seen the emergence of peace journalism. This is a brand new form of journalism that is best defined through the Goltune News. The news comprises about the notions of peace and initiatives on peace from anywhere across the world. The brand of journalism comprises of academics, activists and journalists. Goltune News practices and promotes this idea of journalism through its website in the form of storytelling approach.

Modest designers with Jewish and Muslim background are getting ready for #Toronto #Modest #Fashion #Festival. “[Muslim women] want to be stylish. We do not want to look drab. We want the clothes to be accessible, affordable, non-transparent, flowy, wearable, beautiful,” said Hakeema Cummings, modest fashion stylist and curator. “Once I became Muslim, I couldn’t find clothes that were modestly fashionable and stylish that would make me feel comfortable in my journey. So, I became a fashion designer,” said Nateka Pitter, International Modest Fashion and Design Festival's founder. #fashionablemuslimwomen #travel #instagood #instafashion #goltune #imfdf #imfdfestival #imfdftoronto (at Toronto, Ontario)
