But all of them still feel accomplished and satisfied

They call themselves a crime family and say they horde all their riches, but in reality they're just giving money to people who need it and also making them a bowl of soup

Reader is friends with puss, has been sense far far away. Puss once asked reader if they were afraid of dying, reader told him something that he will never forget.

“Puss, when my time comes I will not run from death, I will great him like an old friend, because in the end that’s what he is.”

So during the adventure for the last wish (reader flirting with Goldie) the battle ends but reader gets hurt, bad, so when death comes, puss along with the others look in anger and sadness, and a shocked death, hear something that warms even him.

You had met puss that night after the whole Fiona and shrek thing. You were in a corner and suddenly a cat comes up to you asking if you had a cup of milk, you gave him your cup that you didn’t even take a drink from. He thanked you and you talked with him for a while.

You and him decided to travel together, he went off somewhere and you haven’t didn’t see him for a while.

One day you were fighting someone and you felt them stab you in the side “shit”. You cursed out feeling the blood rush down your arm. You ran off desperately trying to find someone/somewhere you could get patched up.

You had been running for a while and everything around you started to get blurry the last thing you remembered was falling in front of a house.

When you woke up you found your self on a bed, sitting up you realized your arm was covered in bandages. Slowly you got up and walked around still feeling a bit woozy.

You saw a door and headed towards it walking down stairs. A blonde haired girl walked out and smiled at you. “Oh hey your awake, sit down right there you lost a lot of blood”. She pointed to a chair on the living room.

Sitting down you laid your other hand on your arm, a noise brought you out of a trance and the girl was standing in front of you with a small smile and a bowl. “It’s bowl of porridge, just the way mama makes it”. She said placing it in front of you and you thanked her immediately eating it. She stared at you as you ate, crossing her arms she gave you a smirk.

“Hey don’t inhale it, you might choke on it”. She commented with a laugh. You smiled at that and let out your own chuckle. After eating you sat back in the chair. “That was really good, your mama’s a very good cook”. You said smiling at her, she took the bowl and placed it back into the kitchen.

Returning back to you she sat in front of you. “So what your name”? She asked her blue eyes filled with wonder. “My names y/n yours”? You asked. “My names Goldie”. She responded and you smiled “that’s a pretty name”. You responded.

Over the course of a couple months you lived with her and the bears robbing people and what not. You would constantly flirt with her any chance you got. “Hey you know some times I wish you were a magical item”. You said to her while looking at the stuff you and the family had taken. “Oh why’s that”? She asked and you smirked. “Because then I could steal you and make you mine”. A blush came across her face, “oh come on mate”. Baby said disgusted.Mama only smiled at you, papa laughed at it before falling asleep in his chair.

When you all got to the wishing star you were unfortunately hit by on of those green bomb apples jack had after kitty dodged it. You let out a cry flying backwards into Goldie’s arms. Your eyes closed but she knelt down as you held your side. “Hey y/n please look at me your gonna be ok”. She said frantically and you looked up at her, her eyes filled with fear.

Suddenly a whistle came from somewhere and everyone took a look seeing a wolf walk through the colorful barrier. You had heard rumors that death came in the form of a wolf so you wondered if he was here for you. Puss’s eyes widened and a wall of fire surrounded both of them.

After fighting you had your head laying back on Goldie’s chest her arms wrapped around you and your body felt almost weightless. “Hey Goldie I don’t think I’m gonna make it outta here”. You stated as you grabbed her hand holding it in yours. “Y/n we will get you out of here if it’s the last thing i do”. She said laying her head against the back of yours. “You smiled at her attempt to reassure you, or was she reassuring herself.

The wolf walked to you and Goldie held you closer giving him a small glare. You smiled at him and the next thing that took everyone by surprise was what you said next. “Hello old friend, it’s been a long time eh”? His eyes widened, you weren’t scared of him? You didn’t even try to fight him. He came closer and looked at the other four above you. “It’s their time, you will meet again”. He said in a calm tone as he leaned down to grab your arm, “wait could I do something real quick”? You asked him he hesitated, then nodded.

“Goldie I never got the courage and I’ll never have that chance to but, I love you”. You said weakly turning. Her eyes widened and she gave you a small smile back,”I live you too y/n”. You have her hand a small kiss as an apology for leaving so soon. Death grabbed your arm and searched for the string finding it, it was weak, you closed your eyes and he cut it.

Your soul sitting up as you turned back to Goldie her teary eyes looked into your slightly transparent ones. Standing you gave her a smile. “I’ll see you soon, but until then don’t get to hurt I’d hate to see your pretty face get all messed up”. You always had to flirt in the worst of times. She gave you a weak smile, “I’ll try my best love”. She replied and you gave her a wink before turning to walk away with death.

After that she swore she would get revenge on jack for you, and she did right as he died at the wishing star. She sat with her family looking at the stars above her, “y/n would love them my dear”. Mama said hugging her. Her eyes filling with tears once more she buried herself into her, “yes they would”.
