I had a little time to kill before going to the barn 🐴 this week, so I stopped by the now defunct Golden Gate Stables, where I first learned to ride 🐎 in the 80’s. Built in 1939, they have been languishing 🏚 for the past 20 years, waiting for someone to push a restoration funding measure through City Hall. It’s sad to see them in this state but I’m glad that at least they’re still standing. The Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco has gotten quite expensive. I love having tea there but that is also budget busting. And where did all the koi go?
