Swordbreak

Swordbreak is about an old man named William Knox. Knox can only be referred to as a madman. He built a bunker for himself to live in on the edge of Saharite Canyon. 

Saharite Canyon is a place that humans believe to be cursed, but to the elves of the underworld they’ve only done what they had to to protect their front door. 

Knox is the only man that has been able to safely build there, and the city of Goldencost calls him mad for even bothering to try. Everyone thought he was dead for years when he came back into the city to shop for supplies. 

While in the city, he begins running into children that have been outcast by both their families and the city. He begins adopting all of them and building the found family of the century.
