The Queens Convenience Store. Southport, QLD. (Now closed down). Based on a photo posted by my mate and Burleigh Longboard Club founding Member @manfredmakauskas One by one, these iconic Aussie Milk Bar / Deli / Corner Stores are disappearing. In my neighborhood they used to call them “Wog Shops”, as they were usually owned by us Italian folk or Greeks.
