Ok I saw a post a while ago about how badly all the characters in titans just don't know Jason despite thinking they do and was just like "huh I don't see that but maybe it's just a few things in the last two seasons" but oh my gosh season 3 episode 1 and it's so frustrating already "why would jason be studying chemistry he couldn't read the back of a cereal box" "jason was impulsive" "it's all Jason's fault he could never learn" what the heck guys are we thinking about the same character right now????
#i was so excited for this episode because of jasons death and babs appearance but golay this episode the biggest disappointment in this show#im so frustrated at a lot of things#even the editing in some scenes is such crap#what in the world happened between season 2 and 3#also babs actor just... idk i just met her but she doesnt feel like babs#maybe shell get better tho so i wont complain about that just yet#anyways im very frustrated right about now i love this show but this episode... just not it#hbo titans#titans hbo#dc titans#dc#dc comics#jason todd#batman#enj's rants

The fact that over 20% of people did not click all the time scares the crap out me
For the purposes of the question, caribou, elk, and all species of deer count. Moose do not count, but I'd be shocked if many people have seen a wild moose but never a deer.
For a bonus, tell me in the tags about your Deer Experiences.
#i see them on the daily#theyre literally everywhere#im assuming people who said no live in cities but still golay thats a lot of people to have seen deer so few times#you poor things

Best quirks for soccer?
I'm ignoring "Soccer". That just feels like cheating to have it be on this list.
Larceny: Ignoring the irony of starting off with a Quirk that's only good with the hands, this would be really good for a goalie to have. You can just pull the ball to you when it gets close.
Pliabody: Soccer puts a lot more emphasis on maneuvering and fancy footwork. So having something that makes the user so agile and flexible is bound to help in getting the ball around.
Magnetism: Crowding the ball is always going to be a problem in this game. So being able to suddenly launch people who aren't sharing through the air at a moment's notice would be a hilarious consequence.
Barrier: This can be useful for golaies since you can turn the goalpost into an impenetrable fortress. And if you are a player on the field, just slap a shield down when you have the ball. Bring the whole game to a halt.
Incite: With all the hugs and huddles that happen in soccer games, it wouldn't hurt to slip some subtle words of encouragement to the rest of your team for them to play better. Hey, it's not going to show up on a drug test.
Permeation: With the selective intangibility aspect of the Quirk, this would work great for getting around people while still having control over the ball. That or you could stick your foot in the ball to launch it even farther.
Twin Impact: Not only could you basically turn the soccer field into a minefield, but any kick to the ball you make can be used again later on to move it however you want. And if anyone asks, it was a strong gust of wind.
Rabbit: Yeah, no surprise that this one makes the top of the list. In a sport all about kicking something and running as fast as you can, the Quirk that grants you the most powerful legs possible is going to be unstoppable in this event.

I'm so tired of in fandom fighting can we just all chill😭
Can we all:
A) stop pitting show vs book Lockwood and co related things against each other because they’re both great in different ways. you can obviously have a favourite or prefer something in one or the other but I’ve seen too many people hating on one or the other
B) hating on each other for having a favourite. (Big difference of preferring one though versus calling my one worse or shit etc. there yes can be things you can point out as not great to you or that you didn’t enjoy but there’s not need for blatant hate) Again it ties in with the top one
Ive just been seeing so much unnecessary bullshit. Pitting them against one another and fighting with each other doesn’t help this be a fandom of unity, it just causes more hate.
Neither is better or worse in the scheme of things it’s personal preference they’re both great in different ways because they’re two different things but related by being based on the same story!
Basically you can’t compare a sculpture to a painting they’re two different mediums but they’re both works of art (it doesn’t mean either is perfect either they’re just admired for being awesome to you!)

Note on Mathieu groups
As my project is ending, it is a high time to write something more about groups that kept me company through summer. First described in the second half of the 19th century by Émile L. Mathieu, and subsequently named after him, Mathieu groups are one of the families that comprises sporadic simple groups.
One can construct other groups in a similar vain to simple Mathieu groups – they can then also be called Mathieu groups and denoted by capital M with a suitable natural number in the lower index (simple ones have indexes 11, 12, 22, 23 or 24 – any other number means that we wandered off into a non-simple case).
Construction is where I find Mathieu groups to be particularly interesting – some arise as symmetries of Stainer systems or automorphisms of Golay codes, but both of those aren’t why and how Mathieu found them. His interests laid in multiple transitivity of actions of groups on sets, where an action is k-transitive if there is an element of our group that moves any k pairwise distinct points to any other k pairwise distinct points in the considered set.
Interest in k-transitive actions comes from their rarity. One of the most striking examples being the result of Cameron: A finite group that is 5-transitive and neither symmetric nor alternating (so it doesn’t contain all possible permutations or all possible even permutations) is a Mathieu group on 12 or 24 points.
It turned out that in the project I used none of those constructions, instead viewing Mathieu groups as subgroups of respective symmetric groups – ATLAS provides permutation representations of each of them.
