Geet Fanfic Masterpost
YO So this has been sitting in my drafts for over a year now. I think it is time I posted and moved on. Enjoy! xoxox
Hi guys, so now that I have the time, I decided to make a list of my favorite Geet fanfics. These are just the ones I've read from IndiaForums, I know there are tons and tons of them, these ones I've liked. I've included my thoughts on them as well, just to give you tasters.
Age of Love - Heart-wrenching story of unrequited love and loving too late. Messy relations and just life I suppose...a dramatic, over the top, life.
Baby of Mine - Ok so there’s this one writer (jnawaz) who will show up very often in this list and she has the habit of writing very well, coming up with poignant stories, ripping your soul out and feasting on it with pretty pictures of pretty people doing pretty things.
Bawre Nain - This one is written pretty well, not entirely well. But it’s entertaining and cheesy as hell. Lots of crying and mistakes and d-baggery, the whole lot! Oh and I should put an adult content warning??
Beeti Lamhe - Grab a tissue box because jnawaz is out for your soul.
Best Friends - a cute and sweet story by jnawaz. My favorite line: ‘"Jaab ek dikha diya…dusra bhi dikha de," Biji said as she joined the women.’ You’ll understand why when you read it :))
Blessed - a jnawaz story, need I say more?
Blind love - melodramatic to the max!
Breakpoint - If you...don’t mind....reading....a lot....of....this, it’s a pretty good story.
Condemned - Ok this is a dark, unhappy OS, but seriously, iMadz writes so well, it’s worth it anyways. I’d recommend these kind of fics to people who are seasoned fangirls, who have already read a lot and don’t mind something new. It’s not at all what you expect for Maaneet.
Contented - Another wonderful writer on IF, iMadz knows exactly how to hit you in the feels. She paints wonderful pictures with her words.
Ek Pal - jnawaz does it again, ripping your heart out and tossing it about. Here we have Maan as we all want him and an unimaginably evil--op, I won’t tell you who.
Fantasy - Nice take on married life for our Khuranas. Dramatic as hell, and honestly I wouldn’t be as forgiving as Geet but, eh we just go gaga over those two lovebirds anyways don’t we?
Farewell - Dramatic to the max! A jnawaz story.
Finally Found Ya - What if Maan had a kid, not Geet? Lots of messy backgrounds, messy relations, uff did I mention the dark and crazy backgrounds, and an absolutely lovely story.
For the Love of a Child - Such a good story. Fast pace and lovable. Just a joy!
Hard Truth - Ok this one is weirdly written, has a strange plot, and honestly a Maan you probably won’t like, but I’m putting it here anyways, don’t ask why, I don’t even know.
He Fumbles at Your Spirit - From Dadimaa’s pov. Another wonderful writer, seriously these people are out of this world.
His Wife, Mrs. Khurana - Probably one of the best memory loss tracks. Contains one of my all time favorite jealous Maans. Including the line “Prashant was friendly, down to earth and obviously liked Geet. When Geet smiled at him, her husband felt like standing up and pointing a spotlight at the sindoor in her maang. A moment later, he could do nothing but wonder where on earth that impulse had come from, but he couldn’t suppress it.”
Homecoming - I think this was one of my first jnawaz stories, so I’m a little biased towards this one. Enjoy!
Humesha Saath - Deliciously filmy, a total sham, but sooo worth it, because who wrote it? That’s right, jnawaz.
Jeene Ke Ishaare - If you're into super fast love stories, this is a good one. They fall in love in the time I take to tie my shoes.
Just a Dream or Two Behind You - Super mushy, very Bhansali-esque
Just Ordinary - ....anything but honestly can jnawaz write anything ordinary??
Limitless - This one is an absolute treasure. It’s a friggin fairytale bollywood movie i stg.
Love, Lies and Deceit - Although I went in with low expectations, I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
Only Mine - This one is a fun ride!
O Re Piya - Ufff, right in the filmy!
Out of Darkness - My first fanfic! And it was an amazing choice! If you are into thrillers with dark twists then go for it! Unfortunately, it's unfinished. I was so upset when I realized it was unfinished I moped for days, it was that good, I was hooked. Well written and addicting!
Pyaar Ka Naam Na Lena - This one just gets mentioned because I think the story had oodles of potential even if the execution wasn’t on point. It’s also incomplete, so read at your own risk if you tend to get very attached easily.
Quantum of Solace - Lots of tears, it's almost annoying. But boy is it a well written story.
Remembrance - jnawaz takles the memory question.
Renewed Ties - Aaaahahaha! Itna mazaa! Well written, cheesy Maaneet story with a spy-twist.
Recycled Destiny - Taking memory loss to a whole new level. Well written and filmy. Another amazing writer!
Surrogate Relations - A super cute take on the pregnancy. Well written, poignant and lovely. Oh yeah and there's a nice twist a midst some time swaps so watch out! I think it's unfinished, but it ends off in a happy spot, so it's ok.
Tere Liye - Feels yaar. Filmy feels.
Tere Naal Pyaar Hogaya - Super cute, short and sweet. I believe it’s complete, but the writer wrote the ending a year later so it doesn’t offer great closure. But it ends on a happy note, so no harm done! Not the greatest writing, however.
Teri Bindiya Re - Aye Hayye! Kinna sona story hai ji!
The Mystery of Mrs. MSK - Cute, long, dramatic. May not be the best writing ever, but an entertaining story nonetheless.
Till Human Voices Wake Us - Oh. My. God. This one is not for anyone who is still in the rosy era of Maaneet. It is for seasoned Maaneet lovers who can just appreciate a damn good story. Wowowowow. I cannot tell you how this one messes with your head yaar. Another one of my favorite writers.
Truly, Madly, Deeply - Ok but just know it’s jnawaz, you know what to expect.
Tum Kaun Ho? - Another wonderful writer! This girl does everything from painting pictures to tying up a wonderful thrilling story very neatly. Such a good story!
