This is my OC Aguiyi! A crocodile princess that is compassionate and unambitious, yet wise and violent. Feel free to take advantage of her, the mantis stalks the cicada unaware of the oriole behind it~ She controls intelligence, lurks just under the surface, and attacks decisively. Be careful, she knows you better than you know yourself, and if you dare give her a reason to act against you, you won't even know how you died~

One day I'll make a save file just for her, until then she lives rent free in my head~ (does anyone have an idea of which world she would suit? As it is, I have no clue~ maybe jungle adventure? But there are no residential lots there~)

I don't really know how to tumblr but I just wanted to say I love your blog, your writing, and want to wish you all the positive vibes in the world after having to endure the horrors of ...well you know those evil people who think they are fans but are really just scary.

I wanted to ask if you have seen Joseph's video yet about winning the MTV breakthrough performance. I feel like it's so sassy and heavy in terms of him going like ya thanks but not those "fans". I think it's incredibly poignant that he mentioned being scared of some fans since we know what Grace has been through and having to get more security/people banned from cons.

It also was giving me a lot of ☀️🌙 vibes because he used the word kind/kinder specifically. Grace said in a panel once she could always be kinder. He was all heart eyes to her during that panel (and telling her no not you, you're lovely 😍 like we see you) so I think he is using her outlook to tell people to be kind of everyone in stranger things.

I dunno I just think your posts are hilarious and sassy and would love your take!

Princess Amara: How is he doing? Is he recovering well?

Lady Melody: …

Princess Amara: Is something wrong Mel?

Lady Melody: The doctor said it’s not looking very good for him in the long run. So Papa’s already started handing down his duties for me to take over fully.

Princess Amara: What? So soon?

Lady Melody: He says he doesn’t want to leave behind any mistakes when he goes.

Princess Amara: Where is he now?

Lady Melody: Resting. Luci is with him

Princess Amara: I can swear those two are always together.

Lady Melody: They are. They have such a bond I’ll never understand. Since Luci was born they’ve been joined at the hip. I’m scared that if anything happens to Papa, Luci might never recover.

Princess Amara: He’ll be fine. He’s got loving supportive parents and amazing friends like Imani and Umai to be there for him. And I’ll be right here for you too Mel.

Lady Melody: Thank you Mara.

Lady Melody: Now, on to serious business. To what do I owe the pleasure of a visit from the future Queen?

Princess Amara: Nothing is set in stone yet Mel.

Lady Melody: It might as well be. Things are moving pretty smoothly with the elders surprisingly. At any rate, we could get the law changed before next year. Just as long as some cynical grumpy old male elders don’t interfere last minute.

Lady Melody: The truth is, Mara, we have the upper hand now. It’s no coincidence that most of the children born to the noble families this year have been female. This is fate, destiny, whatever you call it. You were born to bring change to Stryd, Mara, and it’s only just begun. Things will move much quicker once you’re Queen.

Lady Melody: It’s going to be along hard journey gaining and maintaining everyone’s trust but I have no doubt that you can do it. Since I’ll be taking over the Talla family as Chieftess of Southern Stryd, and you have the support of the Chieftess of the North. Not to mention that the Queen of Warborough is your daughter’s godmother, and everyone knows that the only thing the Queen of Saliceau wants is more female monarchs. You’ve been through a lot Mara, but things are finally looking up.

Lady Melody: And no matter what, I’ll be right here by your side. Just like when we were kids. 

Princess Amara: Thank you Mel. You don’t know how much your support means to me.

Lady Melody: Nonsense! You’re like a little sister to me. And we must always protect our own. 

Lady Melody: Speaking of “our own” how’s the little thorn in your side?

Princess Amara: (laughs) I’m guessing you mean Kwame?

Lady Melody: Last we spoke, you told me you’d settled things with him right?

Princess Amara: Yeah. He’s out travelling now and shouldn’t be back for a few months.

Lady Melody: Thank God. That’s another problem out of the way. Let’s keep going while we’re ahead.

Does your oc have a lot of clothes and how much of it do they actually wear?

For this ask, I will use Gioia, Vincent's mother from my Island Legacy Save.

Gioia does not have many clothes at all! She is often re-wearing pieces and layers them for unique outfits.

I had a lot of fun with her character's wardrobe because I was always trying to create outfits with what she had. I ended up being very intentional about what she wore. She had one colorful dress that she has had since college and she holds it for very special occasions. So she definitely wears everything in her closet.

Using the idea that she hardly buys any clothing, I had her change up her image more often by cutting her hair! I did, however, allow her to buy one full outfit with her bonus from every promotion. Or she could choose to save the bonus in her bank account.

Also, by saving money everywhere she could as a single mom, she was finally able to take a vacation with her child to El Selvadorada for a couple of days~

Now I'm curious as to why whenever Mulasem's mother stares at her, it scares her. Is it because she can see what type of person her daughter is becoming or maybe she isn't afraid of her or is it something else?

Hmmm this is actually quite a layered question, thank you for asking it!

Mulasem learns at a slightly older age, that what she was confusing for fear was actually surprise and unease.

Mulasem treats the world around her as a game. She loves to push buttons and see what makes people crack. As a child, much of her time was spent alone and shunned away from the world and she became an avid reader. Unfortunately, she started to take life less seriously. She likened plots and characters in books, to those around her. She loves the feeling of controlling the narrative, and creates story arcs by directly causing conflict. She could force herself into other people's worlds and take over.

She finds being a "villian" if you will, to be more satisfying because they are uninhibited by what others think. Where as heroes need to have a great dose of selflessness and are bound to the personal situations of those around them, not to mention the fact that they are usually well-accepted by the general public (something that Mulasem never was). Everyone neatly fits into their own character design, and she is able to shuffle them around like chess pieces, continuing to propel the story forward in her desired direction.

Her mother has always been a recluse. She hardly had a mind of her own. Always confined to her room when Mulasem was young. As a teenager, Mulasem has gotten used to her mother coming out of her room for family meals, and more recently personal drinks. But still, it is as though she is a puppet with blank eyes and no purpose.

However, when her mother's eyes change and gain clarity, they stare at her in a peculiar way. Waves of hatred, pity, disgust, indifference, and curiosity flicker past them and hit Mulasem's soul. She barely has enough time to register that her mom looks different, before she is captivated by those conflicting emotions in her eyes. And it threatens to force the world as she knows it to crumble.

Her mother seems to be a sentient being at times, not a character in her story, but someone that has been unable to break free. Her mother isn't afraid of her, in fact she doesn't seem to even see her for her. She sees something else in her. Something Mulasem can't recognize.

So maybe Mulasem knows that if she looks too deep into the situation, too deep into herself, she'll find something that'll change her forever. Perhaps... even break her. The more you know, the less you understand.

Since I'm on a mission to finish my legacy before going on to other gameplay, I'm going to choose a sim from that save!

💛Dr. Aaminah is Dr. Samirah's sister and they recently opened the first therapy office in Sulani after moving down here looking for a change of pace. They rented one of the activity spaces in the island library and turned it into their spaces. (Aaminah gets the much smaller room because Samirah said so, but she doesn't mind, it's much cozier!)

💛Aaminah and Samirah really didn't used to get along. Samirah is the older sister, and Aaminah felt like she always limited her. Samirah is very pragmatic but also a bit cold and pessimistic in nature. This used to irk Aaminah to no end.

💛Aaminah is the type that can make almost anyone feel comfortable and like family within minutes of meeting. She has this warm vibe to her and loves to make people feel welcome.

💛Aaminah has always wanted to try living seaside but she felt bad leaving her family behind, so when Samirah's bad breakup saw her looking for literally anywhere else to go, Aaminah jumped on the chance to suggest and go on an adventure with her sister.

💛Aaminah and Samirah live in side-by-side tiny houses and Aaminah loves it!

Hello! I really love the idea for your legacy challenge and I'll be starting up a game file to play it. I do not have Snowy Escape and I noticed there is a technophobe lifestyle I should be doing. Can I just avoid technology in the house for that lifestate phase? I'm guessing that while I won't have any negative debuff for being around technology I could still avoid it to do this part of the challenge as best I can??

But it would be super cool to try to use the idea of the lifestyle in the gameplay! So perhaps a "tecnophobe" would silence their phone, or not have a television or computer in their home, and maybe they'd wash clothing by hand, or jog and box rather than use the exercise machines!

(I just love everything about the composition of this world. I have to rebuild it one day and just stay there~)

2. Sulani

(Ugh, the festivals, the scenery, the locals, a dream~)

3. Mt. Komorebi

(I love all the little spaces, but I still feel like I need to dive a little deeper into this world and make it fit my taste~)

4. Magnolia Promenade

(I'm not even trolling 😭, I've always loved Magnolia Promenade. I think it's because I loved running retail lots, the dock is so beautiful and I always wished we could click on the ship and choose to send our sims on a cruise, and there are so many lovely spaces there. I'm going to use the T.O.O.L mod to improve the huge park~)

5. San Myshuno

(This is strictly on principle~ I like the night life scene and the lots, it's one of my favorite packs, I just feel like it's missing something~ Maybe more space for restaurants and community lots? I feel like the majority of the pull of living in a major city is the accessibility to everything. So I wish there were more places to drop lots~)
