I think watching some random actor's entire filmography just because you fancy them is actually so important. It teaches you that even the most successful artists start somewhere. That they experience ups and downs and career ruts and often have to do very weird projects at some point just because their rent is due. And maybe you discover that you don't even like that guy all that much lol

quick thoughts on a design for dr who's sutekh, the mother and father and other of all the gods. they have the appearance of a desiccated set animal, which isn't so much the face they were born with, but moreso their favorite coat. part of the reason i love mean, bitchy, rude, domineering, firecracker female characters and loathe seeing them defanged is because the prickliness repels men and the defanging is ALWAYS to make them more fuckable for whatever man they have a weird sexual tension with. like yeah i don't like the Mean Lesbian stereotype either but at least the mean lesbian isn't shelving her career to become a tradwife after spending however many episodes/chapters/issues saying how much she didn't want to do either of those things

Tumblr actually grosses the fuck out of me bc you’re just born and you grow up Arab (for me in particular it’s Iraqi) and that obviously predisposes you to being against genocide of Arabs and then you have to justify to some chronically online loser with white guilt why that stance doesn’t come from a place of “looking for clout” “getting notes” “performative activism” but is actually just…….. bc you value your culture & roots & humanity in general ????
