@augment-techs Papageno! I've got a bit of a backstory for him with the Mystics. the whole tragedy with what happened when Nick was a baby has gotten worse lol. Daggeron had three apprentices, and got systematically separated from everyone specifically to send him into the underworld out of desperation. Udonna's missing (cursed to be a bird), Daggeron was cursed briefly for the toad situation, and Papageno got his own curse to be an animal. however his is more...justified. He probably would have gone full on evil if Calindor hadn't decided he needed to be removed from action posthaste. more to remove a potential rival, but then he got the idea to get rid of Daggeron and Udonna, too. Currently, Calindor advises the Rita stand in. due to many time lines clashing...she's alive lol. there's an agreement with Drakkon (reality arrest; she may not leave the mystic realm)/ Calindor also got to raise Clair.

his personality is Diaval from the Maleficent movie meets Salem the cat from sabrina the teenaged witch. absolute monster fucker. considers black magic just a spicier way to explore magic. he finds out Leelee's also monster fucker flavored and it takes twenty minutes for him to stop laughing. He was born in the just dance verse equivalent, like Daggeron. as a raven, he stuck around in the potion alley equivalent, sometimes going to check on LeeLee at the club Iva's uncle and Leelee's godfather runs.

The Night Swan stand in changed him back to human and Papageno's been her advisor knowing full well if he leaves she'll just curse him again. relieved her attention is on Drakkon. once he got to the coinless verse and heard about the mystic realm and the mystics wandering around....he is keeping his head down.

once again I owe Iva and Chloe. Iva gave me an idea of what Papageno was supposed to do when I imagined Iva actually forcing Necrolai to talk to her daughter over her wanting to be human and things. Everything fell into place after that. And part of that was realizing Papageno would be perfectly okay with her wanting to be human. Because opposable thumbs are amazing. He’s still getting used to being back in a human body.
