So we know that 4K is pretty much the strongest out of the three gods but how strong is he? Would he be able to, say, lift or carry either of the other gods? :)
I just need to know for reasons :)

If you’re willing to write for the Dream team, could you please maybe write them coming across a pale garden for the first time, and the Creakings are more tickle-coded? 😁
Tickle Coded
The Dream Team devise a plan to get a creaking heart. All they have to do is keep an eye on the creaking coming towards them. Can't be that hard, right?
The Dream Team’s explorations could range between carefully planned out trips to spontaneous adventures. The latter meant them walking for miles barely keeping track of where they were going until they came across something interesting.
It was coming to sundown when they saw the grey leaves in the distance and they rushed with excited glee into the pale gardens. The flowers began to bloom their haunting orange colour and Dream decided there that he wanted a creaking heart.
“It’ll spawn soon so just keep an eye out.” Dream planned, his eyes scanning the treeline for the orange eyes. The forest was so dense it blocked out what little light their was from the moon. George bought out torches but Dream said to keep them unlit. It was better to see the eyes in the dark.
Eventually they saw it. A monster mob of treebark and creaking limps. The creaking was frozen mid-step as the three saw it. Dream catching sight of it first as it just stopped moving.
“There! Keep watching it while I find it’s heart.”
“Hurry up.” George called. He had build himself higher up in some attempt to keep safe. “It’s freaking me out.”
With George and Sapnap watching it, Dream quickly ran to the mob’s side an gave it a small punch. He saw the orange beam shoot to a tree close to George.
“Perfect! You get it George and we’ll leave.”
“Finally.” George mumbled and built his way over to the tree.
Sapnap kept his eye on the creaking still. Dream technically did as well but his eyes wandered when he saw movement in the trees. He turned around, stepping away from the grey monster and just happened to catch another creaking spawn behind Sapnap. Though as soon as Dream spotted it, it was frozen.
“There’s one behind you!” Dream called in warning, but the surprise made his voice seemed more panicked. And so Sapnap panicked.
“Where?!” Sapnap turned his head.
“Sapnap don’t!”
The sound of groaning trees started behind and Dream quickly whipped his head round to come face to face with the creaking. Three orange eyes staring unfeeling to Dream’s.
Dream yelped and fell back, but he kept his eyes on the mob. This time he caught it mid attack. It’s arms stretched out. It’s claws out, inches from Dream’s skin. No doubt about to rip him apart.
“Fuck! It’s close!” Sapnap shouted and Dream almost turned his head but stopped himself. If he looked away, he’d be a goner.
“What are you two doing?!” George shouted over from the tree. “How did you two fuck that up? You just had to look at them.”
“Sapnap looked away from mine.” Dream defended himself. He didn’t expect how strong the urge was to look away from the creaking but the sight of the mob was...unpleasant.
“You made me panic!” Sapnap defended. “George. Look at the one by me. Then I’ll look at Dream’s then Dream can watch mines again.”
Dream had to trust the plan was working, he just had to wait for Sapnap’s all clear. His eyes were straining, trying not to blink so often but of course the more he thought about it, the more his eyes wanted to blink.
The signal from Sapnap never came. Instead Dream heard George shriek. “There’s another one!”
“George you idiot!”
Panic made Dream look. He half turned his head, just managing to see that there was a third creaking slowly making it’s way between the trees towards George. And that the creaking by Sapnap was about to strike until Sapnap and Dream’s eyes were on it.
But then no-one was watching Dream’s creaking.
Realising far too late, Dream felt the claws on him and braced himself to be torn and shredded. But the claws didn’t attack him. They tickled him.
“GAHAHaaahahaha! Wh-WhahahahaAAAHAHA!”
The creakings claws settled over Dream’s stomach and sides and began scribbling in, through the fabric of Dream’s hoodie which didn’t seem to be protecting him much. The claws worked, up Dream’s ribs and back down to his side, his stomach and his hips.
“Waaahahat whaaaat ihis hahahahppening!” Dream yelped. He struggled and kicked to no avail of escape. The creaking was all encompassing, and any time Dream tried to open his eyes, the claws would get a good spot right by his belly and he’d squeeze them shut again.
“Is it... Is it tickling you?!” Sapnap asked but then Dream heard a scream from the black-haired demon and suddenly Sapnap started laughing as well.
“OoohOHhOHhooohohoho! Nohot! N-Nohohot thehehehere! A-Ahanywhere but thehehere!”
Dream imagined the creaking got at Sapnap’s back. Or his hips. His speculation didn’t last though as the creaking focused in on his stomach and Dream’s only thought was his own survival.
Not a lot was known about the creaking but Dream knew for certain it was not a mob that tickled it’s victims to death. Yet the creaking tickling him seemed like a seasoned professional at it. It took note of all the sensitive spots to make Dream scream, but never stayed at them for too long so his body wouldn’t be used to it.
Dream’s arms and legs were free to move about but it didn’t help him much to escape. Creakings limbs were long, so there was no body to push away, and Dream didn’t have the strength to pry the tickling claws from him.
“What do I do?!” George yelped over the laughter and Dream imagined he was staring down his own creaking, and having to listen to the torture that would await him.
“H-Heehelp uhus!” Dream yipped desperately. He managed to get a somewhat good kick on the creaking’s arm and he turned slightly, but when the claw returned it was just renewed tickling on his stomach and his back. “NO! No please! Pleeeehehease! I’ll... Ihihi’ll dieeeee!”
“I can outrun it!” George shouted. “I’ll get away and come back over the top of the trees!”
“Don’t!” Sapnap screamed. “Dohohon’t you dare!”
“I can help either of you with this thing coming closer! I can-EEK!”
And George was caught. Dream could hear him screeching with laughter and the last chance of escape was gone.
The thought of being tickled for eternity by this monster kicked some last attempt into Dream. Literally. Using what little strength he had, Dream pushed his hips up and kicked out his leg. He felt it connect to the creaking’s body and managed to push just enough to get the claws off him. For the split second, of untickled freedom, Dream forced his eyes open.
The creaking froze. It’s claws just inches from Dream’s skin but it couldn’t move.
Sapnap and George still screamed with laughter, but Dream was just trying to get his breath and slowly crawling back to put distance between himself and the monster. He kept his eyes constantly on it, but he saw something just past the creaking.
He worried it was another one, and there was no way the three of them could handle four tickling creakings, but what Dream saw was in the trees. It lounged on the branch, watching the chaos below with a passive amusement. It saw Dream watch them, then brought its pale hand forward, with a little wave.
“Hello little champion...”
“H-HD?!”
Dream glanced just a second towards GeorgeHD, lounging in the tree and the creaking launched. Dream screamed, quickly looking back just before those claws touched his skin.
“Careful~” HD hummed. “You don’t want to be caught like George and Sapnap.”
“HEHEDEEHEHE!” George screamed between his laughter. “Stohohop thehem!”
HD rolled his eyes and snapped his fingers. The three creaking disappeared into thin air. Dream let out a sigh of relief, letting himself fall back to lie on the forest floor. Sapnap and George joined him, falling to the ground though they were still giggling.
“Yous should be thanking me they were just tickling you.” HD dropped from the tree, his robes flowing around him like dark clouds. “You’re lucky I was close by and heard your screams. Those creaking would have torn you apart.”
“We...could fight them.” Sapnap panted. “I’d rather that than be tickled like that again... Fuck...”
“You were fine.” HD made his way to George and pulled him up. “I was watching the whole time. But maybe you can think about just how much trouble you all would have been in if I wasn’t here on your walk home.”
“You’re going to make us walk home?!” Dream gasped. “After that?!”
“But... But...” George’s voice turned to a soft whine, and he looked to his brother with the widest puppy eyes. “But I’m tired and-and sore from laughing and we’re hours from home.”
HD tilted their head. “Awwww.” They replied in a mock of sympathy. “Well you can just stay here for the night and hope the creaking don’t come back.”
The Dream Team gave a look between them, still trying to decide if the Overworld God was serious.
“Actually,” HD said, “you better start that walk now. I only teleported those creaking a few feet away. And my spell of tickling instead of killing doesn’t last forever.”
Okay he was serious. They were tired and sore, but the team picked themselves up and started making the trip back. They quickly left the pale gardens and walked about an hour more before they decided to set up camp in the dark oak forest to sleep for a couple hours and make the trip back.
HD followed them every step of the way. He watched them silently as they quickly build a shelter and they went to sleep on the hard ground.
They only planned to sleep for a couple of hours, but Dream woke up after what felt like a deep sleep. He was groggy and his vision blurred from sleep as he looked around. Instead of the ground, they were now lying on pillows as soft as clouds. Fluffy blankets kept them warm and Dream blinked a few times to look around.
GeorgeHD lay in the blankets and pillows. George was curled up at his side as HD pet over his hair. Dream tried to speak but his voice wouldn’t come. He was so tired and eyes so heavy. Wasn’t helped as HD reached over and pet over his hair. He hushed him softly and Dream fell back asleep.

Together Again
George is under constant watch from everyone in the kingdom. They're all convinced he knows where Dream is. George is on the end of his rope, wanting to scream, until Dream turns up at his door.
Part 3 done and it's finally a tickle fic lol I apologise for how long it is. I'm trying to just get everything out to catch up and focus on the new stuff. There's another fic after this one, then it will be a few reposts and tweaks of old fics to fit in with the new lore and then new things I promise
---
For close to a year, each week, George marched to the prison and demanded to be let in to see Dream. Each week, Sam refused.
George had wanted to get to the prison right away, on the day he heard Dream was caught but he was talked out of it. Sapnap and DreamXD convinced him tensions were high so he left it. It was Sapnap who then broke the news that no-one would be visiting Dream. Not until he was deemed not a threat. George found that reasoning stupid and called it so. If the prison couldn’t guarantee that Dream wouldn’t be a threat anymore then it was a useless prison. Sapnap didn’t see it that way, and Sam wasn’t pleased when he was told.
Originally George went to the prison every day that he could. When his sleep schedule wasn’t so terrible and he didn’t miss days, he was at the prison until Sam warned him he would be disrupting the peace and would be dealt with. George was tempted to call the bluff, but if he was also arrested it would be less likely they would allow him to see Dream and so George backed off to once a week.
That became George’s cycle to regulate his weeks. He’d wake up and go to the prison to be sent back home. He wouldn’t sleep and hardly eat for a few days, then he’d pass out for a couple days and when he woke up it was a repeat.
His social life wasn’t exactly popular before but now it was non-existent. It helped his cottage was more into the forest than in the kingdom so no-one could bother him. Sapnap tried to visit but George couldn’t talk to him without bringing up Dream. Without demanding why he would do this, when Dream was his brother in everything but blood. Sapnap couldn’t answer him and eventually stopped trying to visit.
The months were lonely and cold and sad but George wouldn’t let himself give in. Not until he could see Dream again and figure this all out.
During his long, coma-like sleep, George was woken up. Sapnap had visited for the first time in months and before George could demand any explanation he was just told:
“Dream’s escaped.”
A sweep of emotions flooded George all at once, he could barely hear Sapnap assuring him there were people looking for him. A burst of giddiness popped in his heart, elated to Dream being free. But then fear quickly overtook it. As much as he hated Dream in the prison, at least George knew where he was.
Now where was he? Was he safe? How far away would he get? Would he come back? Would he want to come back?
George was constantly worried they were telling Dream that no-one was visiting him. Worried that Dream didn’t know he was trying so hard to find him. Maybe Dream wouldn’t want to come back to him. Even if that was a worry for George, the people had pretty much suspected that wouldn’t be the case.
Suddenly overnight George went from the most avoided citizen to the talk of the town. People were constantly passing by his house and walking through the forest around him. Even when George would leave to hunt or get some fresh air, he could feel the eyes always on him.
They suspected George but their spying turned up nothing. They followed and watched his house for a week before they decided Dream wasn’t there or Sapnap must have told them off.
How very ironic that if they had just waited a couple more days, they would have seen Dream turn up at George’s door.
George had an image of Dream in his head after spending so long in prison but this wasn’t it. His hair was longer and scraggly and his usual stubble was now a beard, but he didn’t look like a man who broke out of prison. He had on a large black cloak, but under it his body was strong and covered in hunting garb.
George was stunned for the moment on seeing him before he quickly reached out and grabbed Dream’s shoulder.
“Get in here!” George hissed. “Before the whole kingdom sees you!”
In George’s defence he saw his reunion with Dream a lot sweeter. He pictured hugs and exclamations of missing each other. He was just so overcome with...everything!
Relief Dream was out, worry if he’d be caught again and anger it took him this long to come to George. It all pooled together and just came out as anger. Anger was easier to lash out with.
It would look suspicious but George pulled all the curtains in the house closed. He couldn’t risk any glance of Dream being shown and even if anyone came by asking George could make up an excuse while Dream hid. While George cut off his house to the outside, Dream had settled himself on the couch. He was sitting on one side, his back against the arm off the couch and feet up on the pillows. He had come in with a bag which was now in his lap, curled close to his chest as Dream was fiddling with the ties of it.
When George was done, he joined Dream on the other side of the couch. Back against the armrest and facing him. It wasn’t a large couch by any means but the distance between them felt huge.
Dream’s eyes were still down, focusing on the bag before he risked looking up at George through his eyelashes. “I thought you’d be hurling questions at me right now.” He said softly.
“I think I’m trying to think of the right ones to ask.” George admitted.
“Well...ask away.”
“And do you have questions for me?” It wasn’t the first question George wanted answered but he was trying to keep himself calm. His body was still in two minds about wanting to chastise Dream for something so foolish but also hold Dream in close and never let him go.
Dream seemed shocked by the very idea but slowly nodded.
“Okay.” George whipped his face and sat up straighter. “How about I ask you a question then you ask me one? We’ll go back and forth that way so neither one gets overwhelmed.”
Dream paused before nodding. “That’s fair.”
“Alright first one. Where have you been?”
A smirk came to Dream’s lips. “”Well, I was in prison for nearly a year.”
“Don’t!” George snapped and gave Dream’s foot a kick. “You know what I mean.”
“You mean after I escaped prison?” Dream gave a breathless laugh. “Most people would ask how I escaped first...”
“Dream!”
His smile fell, and Dream looked back down to his bag. “I’ve been hiding underground. Quite far away from here, actually. I spent about a few weeks there just...surviving. And planning.”
George had more questions, but he bit his lip. It would wait. “Okay...your turn.”
“Why didn’t you visit me in prison?”
The question was so forceful and blunt, it felt like a punch to George’s chest. “I... I did...” He said. He was almost breathless. “I tried! I came by every day at the start until Sam bullshit me about disturbing the peace. Then I came by every week. I swear I did!”
Dream and George had known each other since they were children and could read each other like open books. Dream’s eyes were usually so stoic to others but George could pick up on the tells. The relief that flooded through them was slight but noticeable enough.
“None of them told me. I wasn’t allowed visitors but they never told me that. They made me believe everyone had left me.”
George’s heart cracked but the space was filled with rage. He expected such tricks from Sam, but from Bad? George could hardly believe it.
A stray thought struck George and he worded it carefully. “Sapnap visited you...right?”
Dream’s face flashed to a moment of pain. “Yes. Just to try to convince me to give up the book. Then to tell me if I ever escaped he’ll be coming after me.”
“Did...” George chose his words carefully. “Did XD...visit?”
The reaction was immediate. Dream’s face burned with anger. “Yes.” He spat, like the memory was a venom.
George knew that, but he wanted confirmation to it. Making sure the god wasn’t lying.
“That’s two questions you’ve asked now.” Dream pointed out, his eyes now back up to George.
George hadn’t even realised it. “Well they’re more follow up questions to yours.”
“Still two questions.”
“Okay fine! You get two questions.”
Dream smiled, like he’d won some stupid battle and George almost smiled as well.
The mood in the room was...odd, and George didn’t know how to fix it. Dream was so reserved and closed up, so unlike his bubbly sunny self. Of course it was understandable considering what he went through, but George didn’t know how to help.
“What’s happened since I’ve been locked up? They didn’t give me any update while I was in prison.”
Of all the questions to ask, George couldn’t help but feel he was the worst one to ask. All he did majority of the day was sleep, hunt and then try to visit the prison when Sam would allow him to try.
“Well...not much honestly.” George mumbled. “Everything kind of went quiet. Uh... Oh! Bad started a cult.”
“A what?!” Dream yelped. “A cult?!”
“Yeah. Or maybe he didn’t start it but he was trying to recruit people to it.” George was trying to remember the details of the reports Sapnap would give him, but even at the time he was only half paying attention. Those were the worst days when even though he was awake, he was half asleep still.
“I think something was controlling him. Sap said it was some type of parasite that was an...egg? I think? I only saw the red vines from it. Sam and Sapnap dealt with it. Bad’s no longer controlled and all the vines are gone.”
“Sorry...there was a cult?!” Dream gawked. “I feel like if there was a cult, that’s the first thing that should be stated!”
“Well I wasn’t paying attention then!” George’s voice went high, though it wasn’t exactly a snap. “I was too busy trying to visit you! The only things I did then were go to the prison and then sleep until I could go again!”
Dream seemed to realise how harsh his voice was and softened then. His eyes glanced away as he mumbled. “Sorry...”
Now George felt guilty. He swallowed back his frustration and spoke calmly. “I could ask Sap for more details but he might get suspicious.”
“No, it’s fine.” Dream slowly shrugged. “If it’s dealt with then I guess it’s not an issue. Just shocking I guess...” He was quiet for a moment, then gave a small laugh to himself. “I just remembered...there was a few months where I never saw Bad but never questioned it. Guess that was why.”
George had also thought it strange Sam was so quick to trust Bad as a prison guard again after it all, but he just assumed Sam knew more than him. At least George was grateful someone who looked kindly onto Dream would be there.
“And your next question?” George promoted.
Dream looked up. “Does XD still visit?”
“No.” George quickly shook his head. “Not since he visited you. I told him to never come back. And he never did.”
Dream’s eyes were warm with something and George thought it was affection. A relief that someone was on his side.
“But can’t XD always know where you are?” George asked. He knew it was a power the God had, always knowing where Dream was. It came in handy if they ever went exploring and got lost or stuck, but now it was a danger. George was surprised XD wasn’t already here, or already snapped Dream up and back into the prison.
Dream smirked. “Is that your question?”
A familiar annoyance brewed in George. The same he had felt with Dream would be wheezing with laughter over nothing. And George – while also laughing – telling him to stop. He gave a light kick to Dream’s foot. “You asked more than one about the cult.”
“Fine.” Dream huffed, but still smiling. “No, he shouldn’t be able to. Not if I have this.”
Dream reached into his cloak, seemingly into a pocket of his coat, and pulled out an object George had never seen before. It was a small cube, just big enough to fit into Dream’s hand. The bottom of it almost looked like a piece of calcite but yellowed, and the top was covered in a dark green moss-like substance, with soft glowing speckles on it. It sort of reminded George of XD’s mask.
“What is it?” George asked while he watched Dream turn the cube in his hand. It was almost hypnotic the way the lights would pulse.
“A catalyst, it’s called. It’s a rare block but it can make almost anything invisible. Even to Gods.”
“That...that seems powerful! Where did you even get something like that?!”
Dream’s eyes fell again, this time focusing on the catalyst he was playing with in his palm. “I’m going to guess one of your questions was how I escaped so...its the same answer. A friend helped me.”
“A friend?” George blinked, trying to go through his head their list of friends. None he could even think of could help him escape. “Who?”
Dream shifted ever so slightly on the couch and his eyes were trying to look everywhere but George. He seemed cagy, like George had asked such a scandalous question.
“He’s...not... He’s secretive; he doesn’t want me saying too much but I met him while I was in prison.”
“In prison?” George sat up a bit more now. “I thought you weren’t allowed visitors?!”
“I’m not. He spoke to me through the book. The revive book! He’s got a...power. He helped me escape with it, and hid me underground. When I came back up he gave me this.” Dream held up the catalyst again. “Promised I’d be safe.”
George kept his face still as possible while a jealous nagging feeling ate away at his gut. He was useless, only being able to bother the prison guards, and there was some stranger able to get in, befriend Dream and help him escape.
“And he just helped you?” George tried to ask without sounding sceptical.
Dream’s lips twitched and he held the cube closer to himself. “He did.” He said slowly, with a hint that he would be insulted to the idea of something else. He placed the sculk back into his cloak. “He helped me out the prison...and he’s helping me with my plan now.”
“I’m going to a stronghold.” Dream readjusted the bag on his lap. “I’m going to open the portal and I’m going to free the End.”
“That...w-what?! Dream that’s not possible.” George only knew very few details from the End. Whatever Dream would say or the very rare times when XD would speak on it. George knew the most important detail was the End was off limits. Even to Dream.
“It is possible! He showed me.”
Dream opened his bag and tilted it down for George to see. It was full of Ender Eyes, clearly stuffed full of them. George was confused until Dream grabbed one of them and it lit up. It glowed softly in Dream’s palm and seemed to pulse with life. Then Dream dropped it back into the bag and it dulled.
“XD made these.” Dream explained. “They open the portals at the strongholds. I’m going to open them, kill Dragon and free the End.”
“Dream that’s... That’s insane!” George sat up just a bit more. “Do you hear yourself? Do you know how hard that will be?!”
The look on Dream’s face told him he absolutely knew how hard that would be. His eyes avoided looking at George, flicking between the bag in his lap and the floor.
“And what about XD? He destroyed the portals in the strongholds. He’d never let you go to the End, there’s no way he’s just going to let you kill the dragon there!”
“He’s not going to know I’m there until I open the portal. Frie-My friend has given me coordinates for a stronghold far off. He says it still has the portal.”
“You trust him? And he just knows this stuff? Dream, who is this friend?!”
Dream still would not meet his eyes. “I can’t say... But I’ve planned it all out. If I kill Dragon I’ll be the hero that frees the End. They’ll leave me alone. I won’t have to hide.”
“If you even survive!”
“I will... If you help me.”
George blinked. Dream looked up now, meeting George’s eye with a pleading look. “I’ll still go, if you don’t want to. I won’t force you but...if you could help me...”
“Dream...”
It was concerning that George’s first instinct was to agree right away. He had no real thought when it came to Dream or Sapnap; it was just naturally embedded into him to agree with them, knowing they’d never put him into something he couldn’t handle.
Maybe that’s how the situation now got so bad. Because George never stopped and asked either of them to think, or questioned anything. Now Dream was a fugitive and Sapnap was hunting him down.
“Will you help?” Dream asked, drawing George from his thoughts. He met his friends eyes again, his heart aching at the almost pleading look in them.
“I...don’t know.” George answered honestly. “You’ve just...well you’ve unloaded a lot of information on me. And I’m still reeling over the fact you’re actually here, and you’re okay.”
“I know it’s a lot and I’m sorry...”
“Don’t be. I’m just...overwhelmed.”
Dream moved over on the couch. He placed the bag down and slowly scooted closer to George. George shuffled and slipped his legs off the couch, letting Dream sit by him. It took only a second, and then George was leaning his head over the blonde’s shoulder, and sighed in the soft familiarity.
“I know I’m asking a lot...” Dream spoke softly. “But could I stay here?”
George gave a slow nod. “Of course. But you’ll have to keep hidden.”
“I can do that easy.”
“How long will you stay?”
“I’m not sure. I’ve got some stuff to plan and think over so...not sure. Sorry, is that bad?”
George shook his head and pulled himself to sit up properly. “No, that’s fine. I’ll just need to keep up appearances. Keep curtains open and still go out when I need to. We just need to be careful.”
George stood up and suddenly realised how tired he was. Ever since getting the news Dream was out it was harder to sleep and the relief Dream was here made the exhaustion hit that much harder.
“Do you mind if I sleep a little?” Dream asked before George could even think of another plan. “I’ve not had a peaceful sleep while I was hiding out. I could use a good rest.”
Hiding the relief in his voice, George nodded with a “sure”. Dream grabbed his bag but moved timidly, as if this place hadn’t been his second home. George was half following half leading Dream to the door to his room; just a small room with a plush bed, a chest and crafting table. Both him and Sapnap had a room they were always welcome to, though for the past year both had been empty. George still kept the rooms tidy for their return and Dream wasted no time getting comfortable in the room and sinking down into the green sheets and pillows.
He really must have been tired as it wasn’t long after Dream flopped down, George heard the light snores muffled into the pillow.
The worry Dream would be caught was a nagging feeling in the back of George’s head but the exhaustion won out in the end and he dragged himself to his own bed. He’d need to be careful and plan this out but for the moment, George slept.
***
A week had passed since Dream hid out at George’s cottage and he had to sneak around and hide more than he ever had to in the caves with Friend.
And yet Dream loved it.
He wasn’t sure if it was because he was in a familiar home or because he was with George, but the anxiety constantly crawling up Dream’s spine hadn’t returned since Dream woke up. His constant need to look over his shoulder was gone and for the first time in a long while, Dream could relax.
With George’s terrible sleeping pattern, and Dream’s not being much better, it worked out well for them to avoid people. The two would sleep during the day till mid-afternoon, enough of an excuse to keep the curtains closed should Dream wake up first. If anyone did come to the cottage Dream could wake up George and hide easily. Then at night, when the rest of the kingdom was asleep Dream was free to wander the house and very rarely they would go outside to hunt. They had to be more quiet than usual but the first time out with George and they relaxed under the canopy of trees after a successful hunt, Dream felt pure bliss.
The first couple of days were still rough and awkward between the two. It took all of Dream’s strength not to jump right into George’s arms as soon as he saw him. He wanted to laugh and joke again like old times but George was clearly not there yet. As much as Dream wanted to slip back into normality he respected his friend’s space.
Despite their distance and hesitance, being in close to one another was never an issue. Most nights, while George made dinner, they’d lounge on the couch waiting for it to cook. Dream would lay on the couch, mindlessly watching the tv and not even taking in anything. George would be watching too, but whenever Dream looked over, as the brunette sat on the other side of the couch, his eyes were not focused.
Keeping still was already tough for Dream, and something about seeing George so...unbothered sent a shiver of mischief through him. Some deep instinct in him to be a pest and who was he to deny his instincts?
Dream kept his eyes on the tv to not give anything away as his foot slowly slipped closer till it poked against George’s hip.
George already sighed. “Dream...”
“Whaaat?” Dream tried to keep his voice dull and unassuming.
“You know exactly what.” George said and smacked Dream’s foot, which had just slightly shrunk back. “Don’t pester me because you’re bored.”
“I am literally not doing anything.” Dream said as he was pushing his foot back again. He poked at George’s hip again and again and this time George just ignored him.
Dream pouted. Being ignored was an absolute no for him. It just urged that small voice in his head to scream ‘do it’ and Dream let it take over.
He slowly reached out his foot again, but the soft prodding was gone, now he kneaded his toes against George’s hip and then up against his side. George jumped then with a yelp. His face burned red and Dream only had a moment to enjoy it before he turned to Dream, and grabbed his ankle.
“That’s it!”
“Wait-!”
Fingernails scribbled against Dream’s foot, starting from his heel and going up to his toes. Even with the sock as some buffer, Dream still howled. He yelped, higher pitched than George’s, and floundered in his panic which lead him to falling off the couch.
His heart was racing and his face flushed. He realised his ankle had been let go and George was stood over him.
“Wow, I think you’ve gotten more ticklish since you’ve been in prison.” George snorted. He made it a point to step over Dream to get to the kitchen. “A wonder you’ve had a year of no-one touching you and you’ve just gotten more sensitive.”
Dream lay on the floor for a moment. The ghostly tingles still ran through his foot and fluttered his heart. He took in a breath, basking in the feeling of being tickled for the first time in a while.
But then crushing reality came in. The flutters of affection turned to anxiety as he realised no, that wasn’t the first time he’d been tickled. He’d been tortured with it.
George was dishing out his and Dream’s portions for dinner as Dream came to the doorway of the kitchen. He just stood there for a long while, watching and wondering if he should speak.
“I...was tickled.”
“Huh?” George, turned his head, realising Dream was there. “What?”
“I was tickled.” Dream repeated again, and almost wished he hadn’t. His tongue felt awkward in his mouth when he spoke and his eyes kept focusing to anywhere but George’s face. The counters that held their dinner. The knife and fork in George’s hand. “In prison. They tortured me with it.”
George’s eyes widened and his eyebrows twitched, almost to...sympathy or horror. Dream couldn’t tell because George blinked and his expression pulled back. “That’s...? Torture you? For what? Like as a punishment?”
Dream rubbed his arm. “For the book. The revive book. It’s bound to me so they...tried convincing me to give it up.”
Now George avoided Dream’s eyes, looking down slightly. “I’m sorry...”
Dream worried. “No I-I didn’t mean... I didn’t bring it up because I was upset. I just...remembered it.”
“Weren’t you upset?”
Dream tried not to think on it. He felt some sense of pride he never caved but he tried not to think too much about it. Admitting it was for torture was...
Dream shrugged and shuffled on his feet. “I just... I wasn’t thinking. Just talking.”
George looked up then, meeting Dream’s eyes. He paused then nodded with a hum. He picked up the plates for their dinner, walking back to the front room.
“Well I’m surprised you still have the book. Considering you are the most ticklish man alive.”
“Eh! I am not!”
They argued over the stupidest point, with neither admitting right or wrong; but since then the awkwardness between them disappeared.
It wasn’t exactly normal again, but they were close and affectionate which was enough for Dream. They napped together and lounged in each others arms during the day. Few nights they’d read together in George’s room and Dream would fall asleep in George’s bed.
Things were almost back to normal. But ever since that night, George had never tickled him again.
Not like Dream was looking to be tickled or wishing for it, of course not. But it felt...strange. Dream could safely bet that sixty percent of his time with Sapnap and George were tickling each other. It was a playful bond between them.
But then...he never tickled George. He never started it either.
It was all confusing and Dream didn’t want to think about it. It was always the first thought on his mind when he woke up; expect today was different.
Instead of waking slowly, Dream as pulled awake by sudden knocking. He was confused and still groggy until he heard the knocking again.
Someone was at the door.
Dream didn’t panic. Instead he slowly slipped out of his bed, quickly making it and quietly made his way to George’s room.
He was still asleep, sprawled out all over his bed and snoring until Dream shook him awake.
“Ngh... What...?” George groaned.
“Shh.” Dream quickly whispered. “Someone is at the door.”
George wiped his hand over his face a few times and kicked his covers off the bed. He shuffled himself off the bed and made his way to the curtains. He pulled it back just a bit for the light to seep in and look out. His face went from annoyed, to panic.
“It’s Sapnap!”
Dream was stunned in his panic while George quickly jumped from the window and pulled out a box from under his bed. He pulled out a glass bottle and quickly pushed it into Dream’s hands with a: “Drink that!”
It was an invisibility potion shoved into Dream’s hands. He was pulling off the cork while George quickly threw on a new top.
“Just don’t move too much. Stay in here, if you can.” George whispered. His hair was still a mess from the sleep but he left it as it was. He crossed the room and went out to the front room as there was another knock on the door. Louder this time.
Trying to ignore the texture of the potion, Dream downed it in one gulp. His body tingled from the inside, almost ticklish and Dream watched his arm holding the bottle disappear. He hid the bottle back under George’s bed and he kept himself just out of sight from the doorway as he heard George open the door.
“I was about to burst in! I thought you were dead to the world!”
Dream’s breath caught in his throat as he heard Sapnap speak. A voice he had not heard in so long, and the last he’d heard was in warning. The voice telling him if he ever got out, he’d be hunted.
Now that voice was light, almost laughing as George answered. “I was peacefully sleeping.”
The two walked into the living room. Dream could hear Sapnap’s boots thumping on the floorboards as he walked in. Dream couldn’t help himself and very slowly crept just until he could see out the doorway. Even with the door half closed, Dream could see him.
Sapnap was dressed in full amour with a cape of his kingdom around his shoulders. His hair was a little longer, specifically covering the scars on the right side of his jaw, and his horns were showing just a bit above his headband. Dream was taken aback for a moment. Usually Sapnap was so adamant to keep his horns filed down, though maybe he was just too tired to keep up with it. He was smiling to George, but his eyes were dull and heavy bags lay under them.
“You been sleeping a lot? People say they don’t see you out much anymore.” Sapnap asked. He kept himself standing while George flopped down on the couch, half lying on it.
Seeing them so close together, Dream was overcome with a sudden want to burst out of the room and hold them both close to his heart. His two dearest souls were just out of his reach and he couldn’t do anything about it. It put an itch deep in his skin. He wanted to embrace his brother. He wanted to laugh and cry with him again. But the memory of their last visit together stopped him.
Dream shook the thoughts from his head, instead focusing on the conversation again.
“Not needed to go out much.” George shrugged. “Since one of my reasons is no longer there.”
Sapnap’s face fell, pulling back to sombre and serious expression. The face he had when he was acting as leader to his kingdom, and no longer their friend.
“Have you found him yet?” George asked. Dream couldn’t be sure if it was just for George to keep up appearances or if it was trying to gauge of Sapnap was on their trail.
Sapnap hesitated a bit before he shook his head. “No. Nothing.”
Dream was too realistic to believe the sigh in Sapnap’s voice was from a sadness, or worry over him; but a part of him was hopeful that despite what show he put on, Sapnap was still his friend.
“We’ve got people out searching beyond the kingdom and there is no sign of him.”
“And he’s not here. Just in case your spies didn’t report that to you.” George quickly added.
“I didn’t ask them to watch you!” Sapnap said defensively. “You knew they were going to, George. But I never asked them to. I even got them to stop!”
“You got them to stop being so obvious. They still watch me.”
Dream was taken a back. George had told him of the people watching his house before he showed up. Dream have even scouted ahead and seen a few of them, and made sure to only turn up when he was sure they were gone. He hadn’t seen any of them watching the home since.
“I... I can tell them to stop again.” Sapnap offered.
“No. Then they might get too good at hiding I can’t see them.” George shook his head.
Sapnap opened his mouth again but closed it quickly after. The words he was going to say were deemed not worth it, and instead he gave a glance around the room.
George’s cottage wasn’t big, with every room being seen from the front room. Sapnap’s eyes scanned over each door, of course passing over George’s room. For just a split second his eyes met with Dream and the blonde froze in place. It felt like those eyes fell on him just a second longer than usual, but then in the next blink they were away, and looking back to George.
“What? Do you want to search my house? Again?” George’s voice pitched with annoyance.
“No.” Sapnap quickly answered. “No. I didn’t come here to fight you.”
“We’re not fighting, we’re talking.” George carried on, annoyed. “You never visit anymore so there isn’t a whole lot to discuss.”
“I’m trying to find Dream! Preferably before anyone else does! This is serious George!” Sapnap’s voice went quiet. “XD...even XD can’t find him.”
The catalyst burned in Dream’s pocket at the mention of his sibling. He kept the block with him at all times, too afraid to even let it slip from his grip for just a moment.
“Do you think he’s....dead?” George asked slowly.
Sapnap shook his head. “No. XD said he’d know if he was. But he’s still in danger if we don’t know where he is.”
There was a silence between them. So quiet Dream felt like he had to hold his breath not to be heard.
Eventually Sapnap sighed. “I’m not here to argue over this... I actually want your help.” He moved his cloak, bringing forward a pouch. “Sam’s been trying to see how he could have escaped. We know it has to be with help from someone but we don’t know who or how.” He opened the pouch and slowly pulled out what look like moss. Dark teal moss.
The same stuff on top of the catalyst and now it felt like lava against Dream’s skin. He reached into his pocket, holding it tightly while George looked at the pulsating moss.
It felt like forever until George shook his head. “No. What is it?”
Dream had to slowly let out the sigh of relief not to be caught.
“I don’t know. No-one does, not even XD. But it was all over the inner walls of the prison. And all over their redstone systems too. Sam’s got people digging into the walls and underground to see if they can find a trail or something.” Sapnap pulled the moss back in the pouch. “But we think that’s how Dream escaped. We don’t know how but it’s all we have.”
“Well unless it’s here, I’ve never seen it.” George shrugged.
“That’s fine. Thanks for looking anyway.” Sapnap kept himself composed but Dream could see his shoulders slump.
George also sloughed as Sapnap made his way to the door out. “And now you’ll leave.” He said, standing up to follow Sapnap. “I don’t see you for so long and then you’re gone again.”
“I can’t just hang out anymore!” Sapnap snapped and turned to George. “I can’t just drop everything while Dream is out there! I’ve got responsibility!”
“A responsibility you gave yourself!” George quickly pointed out. “And since then I’ve never seen you happy. I don’t think I’ve seen you actually smile in the last year.”
The words stunned Sapnap to silence. He opened his mouth to refute, but he had nothing to say.
“Do you even like it? Being in charge of this kingdom?” George asked softly, more soft than he had spoken all morning.
It seems like the words touched something in Sapnap. His face weakened for just a moment before the stone facade came back again. “I have to go. Thank you for your time.”
Sapnap left quickly before George could say anything else. George watched him leave, staying at the door for a moment before closing it over and then he dragged himself back to the couch.
Dream waited a moment longer before slowly stepping out. All the curtains were drawn and he was sure Sapnap was gone, but the energy left in the home was thick and tense. Like when Dream first arrived.
George lay on the couch while Dream quickly shuffled to the kitchen. He quickly downed some milk, shivering as the tingling feeling returned again and his body slowly became visible and he walked back to the living room.
“Do you really think Sapnap is unhappy?” Dream asked and slowly sat on the couch. George lay his head over the headrest at the other side. Half curled up and arms covering his head. “I know he’s been stressed with Kinoko but—”
“Did your friend use that stuff to get you out?” George cut in.
Dream was taken aback to how sharp George’s voice was. “Y... Yes... I told you he helped me.”
“You didn’t say he could alter...what, reality? That he pulled you out of that place with that moss?”
“You never asked!” Dream blinked. “What are you mad about?”
“You never said he had this power.” George moved his arms from his face, and slightly pushed himself up. “And now he’s just given you coordinates to a stronghold. Just for free? He wants nothing from you?”
George’s eyes were so intense, Dream looked away for just a moment. Which did not help his answer. “N-No... I offered to help him.”
“Offered.” George rolled his eyes. “After he just mentioned it, I bet. And you want to do something good for him.” He pushed himself up off the couch.
“I still don’t understand why you’re mad! So what if I help him, it’s the least I could do after he helped me.”
George rounded the couch but stopped to look at Dream. His mismatched eyes were cold. “Because if your friend has all this power, that he can break you out of prison and hide you from the eyes of Gods, all from this moss; then why would he need your help?”
“It’s... It’s complicated.” Dream tried to quickly answer to hide his own doubt. “He can’t... I... I promised him I wouldn’t say. But he does need help.”
George looked softer then. Or maybe he was just tired. The fight was out of his voice when he spoke. “I don’t think he does, Dream. I think you just owe him a favour.”
Dream said nothing as George sighed and said he was going back to bed. He went back into his room, closing the door and leaving Dream alone with his thoughts. He didn’t like the way his thoughts were heading, so he grabbed a blanket to wrap himself in and turned on the tv just for anything to distract him.
He wasn’t sure when, but Dream fell asleep on the couch with the blanket still half wrapped on him. George shook his shoulder to wake him, though it took him a few blinks and rubbing his eyes a bit before he pulled himself out of his haze. The tv was off and the sun was setting outside.
Dream kicked the blanket off himself and pulled himself up. “Wh...How-How long was I asleep for?”
“Not sure.” George shrugged. “I got up at noon. You seemed tired so I didn’t want to disturb you.” His voice was softer than it was earlier. He sat down by Dream’s side. “We’re out of meat so I was gonna go out hunting. You want to join?”
Hunger gnawed at Dream’s stomach, but he pushed the feeling down. “Isn’t it dangerous? If you’re still being watched?”
“I checked, I’m not being watched today. Maybe they think cause Sapnap was visiting I’m good for now.”
Dream was worried on the slightest chance to be caught, but he trusted George and the idea of George hunting on his own didn’t sit right with Dream. After he washed and dressed, the two waited until the sun was completely down then they left.
Dream gave a glance around to see if he could spot anyone, but even with his good eyes he couldn’t completely see in the dark. He just trusted George’s guess and continued to follow.
George’s cottage was already out of the way of the kingdom and his back garden was practically the forest. It was a less than half hour walk and the lights of the kingdom faded from view. The forest got more wild and overgrown till the two were pushing their way through the foliage.
Dream noticed some wild pig tracks, called to George and they crouched low to start tracking.
The sky was clouded, making the forest darker. Even with keen eyes, Dream was having trouble focusing on the tracks. They lead down a dirt slope, hiding a patch of wildflowers and thyme. Dream was just starting to climb down, when all of a sudden he was pushed.
It wasn’t a large fall, and he was cushioned by the flowers from any real damage. But just as Dream was pushing himself up, about to ask George “what the fuck?” he was suddenly pushed down into the flowers again. He tasted the mint and sweet petals and then George’s hand was under his top and scribbling into his sides.
“Wha-AAAhaha! G-Geohohorge! George stop!”
“How are you still this ticklish?” George spoke so calmly, like he wasn’t pinning down and tickling his best friend. “Most people get immune to tickling the more they get tickled, but you only get more sensitive.”
Dream’s face got redder, not just from his breathlessness. He tried to draw in a breath to argue, but with every inhale he was overwhelmed with mint and flowers and all he could do was laugh.
George’s hands roamed Dream’s torso. He squeezed Dream’s sides, scurried up his ribs and poked all down his back. Dream’s back wasn’t exactly overly ticklish, but with the smell of the flowers making him loopy he squeaked and squealed. He tried to roll himself over so his arms could defend him, but each time George pushed him back down.
“If you roll over, I’m gonna get your belly, so...” Dream could hear the shrug in George’s playful tone. “Like, if you want your tummy tickled, go right ahead.”
Dream did not want that. His stomach fluttered just with the thought of that but it was a fight to keep his body from struggling. He wiggled just a bit too much and George’s hand slipped down tickling just at the edge of Dream’s tummy and he went nuts. He bounced off the ground, throwing George off him enough to turn around. Immediately his arms wrapped around his tummy to protect himself; but George just went for his armpits.
“ACK! NOHOhohOhOHOHO!” Dream went to protect his armpits and George went instantly for his tummy. “STOHOHOP! STOP!”
To Dream’s surprise, his pleas worked. The tickling stopped instantly, George placing his hands at both sides of Dream to keep himself steady. Dream had one hand covering his left armpit and the other protectively around his belly. His hair was a mess in the grass, any strand that wasn’t plastered to his sweating face of course. It took a few panting breaths before his breathing levelled again and he looked up to George.
“Wh...Whahat was that for?” Dream asked.
“Any time you were upset or sad, you’ll look so pouty. And you’d come to me or Sapnap for tickles.” George pulled up a hand and poked a finger just above Dream’s stomach. He couldn’t help the giggles, but his curiosity silenced them as George dragged the finger up, between Dream’s ribs and over his chest.
Dream knew if he denied it, he had no real defence. Because he did do that. Not even just when he was upset; if he was frustrated or any type of moody, he’d seek out George or Sapnap and be a bother till they tickled him straight. Was he doing that now, without knowing it?
“But you’ve not done that recently...” George said, and squashed Dream’s unanswered question. “But you still looked so sad... Then you mentioned about the torture. I thought maybe they’d made you hate it.”
Dream didn’t hate it. He just didn’t want to think about it because he was scared that maybe he did actually hate it. That they ruined something for him. If he didn’t think about it then they hadn’t ruined it. Perhaps it was a childish way to look at it, but it gave Dream some semblance of comfort.
That was until George tickled him on the couch and it wasn’t hate he felt. His laughs weren’t pulled out of him without mercy, but bubbled out of him sweetly. It felt good. It was relief he didn’t hate it and the childlike joy from giggling his head off.
The very same giggles that came back, as George started tickling again. He got at Dream’s ribs, which surprised more than tickled him but the squeak broke into a high pitched laugh, and the hand protecting his armpit leapt to protect his ribs. George just moved the hand around, skittering to his sides, and hips and then back up to his ribs.
The arm wrapped around his stomach was not moving. Protectively guarding the one place he knew George was aiming for.
“You want to stop me, Dreamie, you’re gonna need to uncover that tummy.” George teased. His hand skilfully dodged every one of Dream’s grabs and hits with years of experience.
“Nohoho...h...haha...Ple-Plehease! EEK! Nohot there. A-Anywhehere but there!”
“I’m going to get there.” George said without a trace of doubt. “Or we can keep doing this. I can do this for as loooong as I need till I get that belly of yours.”
“No! Nononono!”
Dream’s squeaks reached higher and higher pitches he didn’t even think possible. Then all at once he was silenced. George’s hand once tickling his torso now slapped on his mouth, and his laughter stopped right away.
Because Dream heard it too. A snap of a twig, followed by a muffled curse word and another voice trying to shush the noise. They’d been followed.
Dream was in a back and froth of hating and loving his ears. They drew attention and made him very easy to recognise. But now they came in perfect. His ears perked up, pointed to the hill they came from and he listened.
There was only two sets of footsteps and they were walking slowly, trying not to be heard. They whispered to each other as quietly as possible but Dream just about heard them.
“Are you sure he went this way? I can’t see a thing.”
“I’m sure of it. Plus we heard that noise. He’s here somewhere.”
That noise was no doubt Dream’s laughter, which would have sent him blushing but he was too focused. From the voices it sounded like one was a man and the other a woman.
“You really think he’s going to meet Dream? Right after Sapnap visited him?”
“Exactly! He’s going to warn Dream that Sapnap’s close to finding him. Maybe he isn’t hiding that psycho, but he absolutely knows where he is.”
They were quiet for a few seconds and Dream only heard the slow sounds of their footsteps so he tapped over George’s hand still covering his mouth. It seemed unneeded now but it weirdly kept him focused. George moved his hand down.
“There’s only two of them.” Dream whispered. “They only followed you, they don’t know I’m here. But they think you’re trying to meet with me.”
George slowly nodded. “Did they hear your laugh?”
“They said they heard something. They didn’t know what it was.”
George nodded again, then slowly climbed off Dream. He crept closer to the slope of the hill and Dream stayed down. It would be better to hide than try and run.
Dream could still hear them approaching but he wasn’t sure if George could. He didn’t move up any higher on the hill, just waiting for something. Just when the steps were so close enough Dream was sure they’d spot the stalkers heads poke over the hill, there was another snap of a branch and another swear.
“Be quiet!” The man hissed. “You’re going to give us away!”
“It’s already too late for that!” George shouted up over the hill. He gave a look back to Dream then quickly climbed up the slope and Dream used the sound of his climb to roll and slip into an overgrown bush.
“Do you have any excuse for yourself, other than you’re still following me?!”
It was hard to hear through the foliage though Dream tried as hard as he could.
“We...were just concerned where you were going so late.” The woman replied. “It’s suspicious.”
“It’s none of your business!” George snapped. “But if you must know, I’m hunting. And I would have been done and home if not for you two scaring off my dinner!”
Dream could hear the two shuffle nervously, then the guy spoke up. “We heard a noise.”
“It was the pig I was tracking. Squealing and running off once they heard you stomping through the woods.” George was quick with the lie, even though Dream had to hold back his huff.
Being covered for by his laughs being pig squeals. How embarrassing.
“So, unless you have my pig as an apology, get out of here and let me hunt in peace!” George continued. “What more proof do you need that I have no idea where Dream is! Half the kingdom has stalked me long enough. The other still spy on me. Can I never just be left alone?”
There was silence, which worried Dream. He very carefully moved himself out of the foliage, making no noise and slipped close to the hill. Just as he reached the bottom of the hill, the woman huffed.
“Sorry... We’ll leave.”
Footsteps shuffled as George called after them. “And tell any of the others that still follow me to back off too!”
The two never replied, but Dream could hear them getting further away and so he slowly climbed up the hill. Just as he peeked over the top he could see George standing in front of him. He couldn’t see the two who followed them properly but he could see the light of their torch getting further and further away. George stood still, watching them leave until the light of their torch was so far gone it was like a firefly in the distance.
When Dream couldn’t hear their steps anymore he jumped up and grabbed George back down the hill.
George squeaked as he tumbled back. Dream managed to catch him, and they fell back into the overgrown weeds. George landed with his back on Dream’s chest. He was just a little dazed and confused, until Dream’s fingers wiggled into his ribs and down his sides.
“Calling me a pig, huh?” Dream playfully growled.
“I had to say sohomething! W-Wahait! Wahahahait!”
Dream’s hands tickled down George’s sides, just touching his hips and George screamed. Dream should have been worried he’d be heard, even if the stalkers were so far away, but he was preoccupied trying to keep George still. The man struggled like his life depended on it when he was tickled, wiggling out of Dream’s hands and trying to jump away.
Despite his attempt, George hardly went anywhere. Instead of laying over Dream’s chest he had scrambled to Dreams legs instead which wasn’t much of an escape attempt. Dream pushed himself up, laughing and grabbing for George’s sides again until he realised George was going for his boots.
“Don’t! Don’t you dare!” Dream yelped and tried to grab for George’s arms. When he was determined, George’s grip was strong. Strong enough to keep a hold onto Dream’s ankle and unlace his boots.
“NO!” Dream screamed and instead of trying to pry off the hands pulling off his boots, he went for George’s side again.
“No! Stohohop!”
“Let go of my foot and I’ll stop!”
“I don’t believe you!” George squeaked between the laughs. “L-Lehehet go! N-NAH! Dream! Nohot there! Ehehe...don’t-don’t you daaahahare!”
Dream squeezed at the back of George’s thighs. It was nothing more than a warning which George seemed to consider. His hands never moved and he looked back up to Dream. But the glint was in George’s eye for just a second before he started his attack and scribbled all up and down Dream’s foot.
Dream shrieked and kicked but fought off the urge to curl up just long enough to knead and vibrate his fingers into the back of George’s thighs. It had the opposite effect Dream wanted and George just tickled harder. So Dream tickled harder.
It a loop of both of them tickling one another, pleading mercy and promising they’d stop when the other stopped; but nether of them risked to be the first one.
They were rolling around, trying to escape but in doing so freed up more spots to tickle. They were exhausted, their tickling turned slow till eventually it stopped. Dream’s chest heaved. George lay by his side, panting and curling up to rub the ghost tickles from his skin.
The air felt lighter.
“We still...have to hunt...”
Dream groaned to the thought of moving. He just wanted to sleep right here between the grass. “Is there nothing in the house.”
“No. But...” George pulled himself up and walked a few steps up the slope. He pulled his bow out from his inventory, lined up an arrow and Dream heard the squeal just as the arrow was lose. “Got us a cow. Should be enough.”
The two were careful on their trip back home to not be followed again. Dream kept his ears alert and George’s keen eyes were scanning over every dark shadow. They made it home safely, they ate by candlelight and they crawled into George’s bed.
“If they didn’t see you, it meant they were following the tracks towards us.” George whispered in the dark. Neither were sleeping yet. George was playing with a strand of Dream’s hair and Dream was letting his mind wander.
“That’s still a close call.” Dream pointed out.
“But it means they know you’re here.” Dream could heard George shuffling. Probably turning over. “They’ll have seen two tracks into the woods. It won’t take that much detective work to figure it out. You’re in danger here.”
Dream knew that. Every day he knew the risk he was in, and the danger he was putting George in for hiding him. It was a selfish wish, just wanting one more day. Just a little more time.
Hoping George would come with him.
“I’ll leave tomorrow.” Dream said, though it pained him to do so. “I’ll leave early tomorrow.”
“Are you still going to the End?”
Dream’s heart beat uncomfortably. “Yes...”
The silence was torture. The fingers playing with the small strand of Dream’s hair stopped.
“Then I’m going too.”
It took all of Dream’s strength not to cry right there. “R-Really?”
“I could never let you leave again. So no matter where you’re going now, I’m following. And if they catch us, and drag you to prison again, I’ll kick up enough trouble and go right there with you.”
Dream wanted to cry and cheer but the relief lead to exhaustion. He wanted to shower George in praise and thanks and tell him every positive thought he ever thought of him. But all he could do was huff out a small thank you. His eyes were slowly falling shut as George kept playing with his hair and cuddling in close.
This was their last night in George’s cottage. And the next morning, before the sun was fully risen, the cottage was empty.

His favourite spot to tickle is every spot
And HD's helper hands were a blessing from Prime. They gave HD the hands to help them during the war and they remained his power after he was blessed with Godhood.

Just a Flash of Pink
An experiment turns wrong and OP is being chased through the Nether by an angry 4K. He gets tangled up in vines before he can catch him and OP sees it as a great opportunity to talk it all out. And maybe bargain for some forgiveness.
Suggested by @fandoms10v3r
OP ran as fast as he could through the crimson forest. It was practically an art form he perfected, avoiding the hoglins, making sure not to knock into any piglins and jumping between the dense red trees. He could not stop for one second. Because stopping meant death.
“You’re dead, feathers!”
4K’s voice thundered behind him, and while OP was far to scared to look over his shoulder and see just how close his brother was gaining up to him, he still had enough courage to shout back.
“I am very much alive, thank you!”
So OP just had the curious wondering thought if hair dye would work on daemons. He had two full blooded daemon brothers to ask, but instead OP found it would be more fruitful to find out the natural way. Meaning swap out one of his brothers hair care for dye and see what happens. What happened was 4K used the product and turned his hair bright pink. He didn’t even have to confirm anything, he just ran for OP and OP ran.
OP ran as fast as he could while his wings twitched on his back, dying to be used to escape but the Nether, especially the forests, were too close to be able to fly safely. Instead OP just needed to find a way up to the Overworld, then he could fly as far and fast as he could.
But first, running.
Eventually OP came to a rather steep slope, covered in crimson trees. Tough to climb but it was going upwards so OP started to climb. He hated climbing the trees in the Nether. The trunks were too smooth, the branches not thick enough, vines always in the way and the shrubbery was too dense. OP had to really push through and even then he could feel the leaves caught in his wings.
“Big mistake, OP!” 4K called up, directly below the tree and OP pushed through faster. “You should have went around and kept running!”
OP risked looking back, watching in horror as 4K was a more seasoned climber of these trees than OP. Of course he would be, he was born here.
“I just need to get to the Overworld, then I’m gone!” OP called back and kept climbing.
“You’re not making out of the Nether alive!” 4K snapped. “You won’t even see the Overworld! You-!”
4K stopped, his words turning into yelp and OP could hear the sound of a branch snapping and his brother falling.
All fear and thrill dropped from OP’s body and he turned around. “4K!” He shouted but couldn’t see through the thick red leaves. He kicked through and quickly climbed down. “4K are you okay?!”
“Ugh... I’m fine...”
OP wasn’t sure how far 4K was up in the tree when he slipped, but the drop couldn’t have been that far. When OP had the ground in sight he jumped down, expecting to help his brother off the floor. Instead 4K was in a...predicament.
He had fallen from the tree, but had gone through the red vines which had tangled themselves around the daemon. A few thick vines around his waist, one around his left thigh, holding his leg up, and a few smaller ones wrapped around his arms, keeping them up above his head. He was at a slight slant and his feet just a few feet off the ground.
OP sighed in relief his brother was okay. “Thought a veteran climber like you would never have fallen.” He couldn’t help but tease.
“I didn’t see the weak branch.” 4K mumbled. His cheeks were pink, probably embarrassed he made such a mistake. He pulled at the vines but it was no use. Red vines held strong.
“Seems you have bad luck with vines recently.” OP couldn’t help but tease again.
“Shut up!” 4K snapped his fangs. Of course it would still be a sore subject. Just mere weeks ago 4K was entangled in vines, commanded by a pretty fae. He was enraged he wasn’t strong enough to break free but OP and HQ were also there, having no luck against them either. The encounter was settled “peacefully” but OP could tell it was still a thought buzzing in 4K’s head.
“Stop yapping and help me down.”
OP nodded and walked forward, but then stopped as his hand reached out. The need for survival suddenly kicked in again.
“What are you waiting for?” 4K asked and pulled the vines again.
OP looked to the vines then back to his brother. “Are you still going to kill me?”
“Of course I am.” 4K replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“Well, then no.” OP stepped back.
“You!” 4K raged. “I’m already mad at you, and you want to make it worse?!”
“Well just forgive me, and I’ll let you down.”
“Not a chance!”
“Then, I’m not letting you down.” OP stepped back again and folded his arms.
4K growled and immediately went into struggling. The vines still held him too tightly but...for how long? OP knew his brother’s strength and knew it was just be a matter of time before the vines at his hands would break ever so slightly, then he’d be free and then he’d be mad from the pink hair and for not helping him.
Okay, so OP needed a new plan.
Luckily, the idea presented itself freely. With all the struggling in the vines, 4K’s top began slowly slipping up just ever so slightly. It was showing just a little bit of his toned stomach, and some of his sides.
Well, it would be rude to ignore the universe’s so blatant message.
OP stepped forward again and 4K’s eyes were on him. “Have you come to your senses?” He asked, half sarcastically.
“No. Hoping you’ve come to yours. Forgive me and I’ll let you down.”
4K barked out a laugh. “Not a chance!”
“Well, alright then.”
OP shrugged and stepped forward again. 4K looked curiously, it not really clicking in until OP reached forward, wiggling his fingers and then suddenly tickling 4K’s stomach.
“NAAAHAHA! NAHAT! S-StohohoHOHOP! STOP IT!” 4K threw his head back in a deep laugh. He struggled more, trying to wiggle away from OP’s fingers.
“Just forgive me and I will!” OP shouted over the laughter. His hands moved round, squeezing up and down 4K’s sides and pushing his top up further and further.
“FUCK YOU!”
“I’ll take that as a ‘no’.” OP snickered and tickled up 4K’s ribs. A much more sensitive spot that made his laughter more high pitched and giggly.
“Stop! Stohop! G-eeheheahaha...Get awahay from my rihihibs!”
“I will. Just as soooooon as you tell me I’m forgiven.” OP hummed. “And you promise not to get revenge.”
“NEVER!”
“Well then I’m never stopping.” OP shrugged.
He tickled up and down 4K’s torso. Scribbling into his pits, squeezing his sides, knuckling his ribs and vibrating his fingers against 4K’s stomach. Despite how expertly OP was tickling, 4K held firm. Still between the laughter he shouted, promising OP this was his last day. Alright fine, he’d need to turn it up a notch.
The tickling stopped, giving 4K just a moment of peace until he felt OP untying his boots, then he struggled with sudden newfound energy.
“OP! NO! I swear to Prime you’ll be dead and never found!”
“Oh what a shame.” OP mumbled like he pulled a feather from his wings. A nice long fluffy one. “Now, you’ve got one chance to forgive me, or I might just never stop tickling your feet. So last chance.”
4K opened his mouth to shout out some more threats till he saw the feather. His words faltered as he looked back and forth between his brother and the dreaded feather about to ruin his life. But silence was not a confirmation of forgiveness and so the feather quickly found 4K’s sole and brushed.
“EEEEEHEAAHAHAAHAHAHA!” 4K laughed, a deeper laugh than when his torso had been tickled. “NOHOHO! No pleehehease! Plehease stohohop! Plehehease!”
“Tell me you forgive me.” OP demanded, brushing the side of the feather up the centre of 4K’s foot and between his toes.
“I FOHOGIVE YOU! I FORGIVE YOU!”
“Cool! Now tell me you won’t get revenge.” He swiped the feather back and forth, all up and down the foot.
“I WON’T GEHEHET R-REEAAAAHAHA! PLEHEHEASE!”
A gentle heart he was, OP took that as close enough and stopped tickling. 4K slumped in his binds, gasping for breath as OP slowly cut away at the vines until 4K was slumped to the ground.
“Don’t worry. The whole Nether definitely heard you.”
OP turned around to see HQ walking towards the two. His hair free from the pink dye as he had watched the unfortunate prank before the two had run off. “Everything good between you now?”
“Perfectly fine!” OP placed his hands on his hips. “My experiment gave me my answer, and 4K just has a funky new hair colour for a few days.”
“And 4K is okay with this?” HQ raised an eyebrow.
“He agreed I was forgiven.” OP quickly spoke as 4K glared at him. “And he agreed not to take revenge.”
HQ shrugged. “Well, alright.”
A cold thin metal feeling coiled around OP’s wrist and dragged him to the ground. He was pulled to his knees and then another coldness went around his other wrist and then his waist and then his wings.
HQ’s chains. Golden links summoned up from the cracks of the Nether and trapping OP.
“Hey! No!” OP quickly looked between his brothers. “4K promised I was forgiven!”
“Oh, he forgave you.” HQ agreed then placed a hand on his chest. “But what kind of older brother would I be if I just let my baby brother be embarrassed and then had revenge taken from him. After all, I never agreed I wouldn’t avenge him.”
4K had looked just as confused as OP was, but then he grinned, slowly rising to his feet as OP tried to sink into the ground.
“Where first?” HQ asked.
“His wings.” 4K replied without mercy and HQ descended upon him.

Wanted and Loved
DreamXD doesn't want to bother GeorgeHD and Sapnap4K since they newly revealed they're a couple. However, the couple want to show that XD is still very much wanted.
Suggested by @fandoms10v3r
DreamXD wasn’t the most socially aware person. In fact he was willing to bet he was the most socially oblivious being in the world. But, when his friends GeorgeHD and Sapnap4K came to him one day and revealed they were dating one another, XD was aware enough to realise that meant he should leave them alone to be a couple.
It wasn’t all the time, not like he cut them out of his life, but he made a guess that if he couldn’t find both of them, it meant they were away being a couple. They still had time together as friends but XD tried not to take up too much of their time.
Like right now.
The three of them had a free day with each other which ended as it always did, in a tickle fight. By the end they’d settled into a cuddle pile ready to take a nap, and XD was slowly trying to make his exit.
4K was in the centre of the pile, his arms around both HD and XD. He was leaned more towards his love, his lips pressing sleepy kisses onto HD’s forehead and XD was careful to slip out of his arms and leave the couple alone. He was just about free and about to teleport away when he felt 4K’s hand grab onto his wrist and pull.
“Where do you think you’re going?”
So certain the Nether God had fallen asleep, XD was stunned to answer for a moment. “Ah... J-Just leaving you two alone...”
“Nope. Not happening.” HD’s chimed up then.
One of HD’s ethereal hands appeared and pushed over XD’s chest. Then another grabbed onto his shoulder, and another at his arm. And with 4K still holding onto his wrist and pulling, XD was not only pulled back into the cuddle but put right in the centre, between HD and 4K. Literally the one place XD was trying not to place himself.
They were placed between the two God’s, 4K on their back as they were looking to HD’s kind mismatched eyes. “We noticed you’ve been avoiding us.” HD said. His helper hands were gone, replaced by his own stroking down XD’s cheek and soothing their hair.
“And we know it started when we told you we were dating.” 4K added as he placed a strand of XD’s hair behind their ear.
“If we sprung it on you too suddenly...” HD’s voice was soft. “Or if we made you uncomfortable-“
“No!” XD quickly cut in and shook his head. “No! Yous didn’t do anything wrong.”
HD kept his hand on XD’s cheek. His thumb softly stroking beside the End God’s three main eyes. 4K pressed firmly against his back. Trapped wasn’t the right word but XD felt...enclosed. Safely kept in place. Safe to explain.
“I didn’t want to come between you two. Like... I didn’t want to take your time away from each other.” XD slowly explained and the two were quiet to let him. “I’m not uncomfortable with it I just wanted to make sure you had time as a couple.”
Relief flooded HD’s eyes and XD could feel a soft sigh of 4K behind him. “Well you never have to worry about that.” HD said. He pulled XD’s face closer till their foreheads touched. “We have more than enough alone time together. But we’ll always make time for you.”
“Of course we will.” 4K agreed, and rubbed his cheek against XD’s. “Besides, you are basically our practice child, so we need you around.”
“Hush!” HD snapped and 4K chuckled. “But, 4K is partially right. We need you around because we love you. And no matter what happens between us, we’ll always need you.”
XD’s cheeks flushed. He felt overwhelmed with love. All the more overwhelmed as HD pressed kisses against his forehead, and 4K kissed behind his ear. 4K’s beard tickled as his neck and HD kissed him again, but this time on his cheek and his lips were softer, tickling over his skin.
“Stohop.” XD giggled, turning his cheek away from HD.
“No no. We need to make absolutely sure you know how loved and wanted you are.” HD said.
“Exactly.” 4K happily agreed and pressed another kiss onto the other side of XD’s cheek.
The blonde God giggled, scrunching his shoulder and trying to move his cheek away from 4K, only to place his other side into HD’s path, giving him tickly kiss after tickly kiss over his cheek.
Apparently it didn’t stop just with kisses. Like they could speak to each other from looks alone, HD and 4K softly traced their claws around XD’s stomach. Not enough to work him into hysterics (though 4K was cutting it close) but just enough to keep him steady giggling.
His giggling turned softer and breathy and XD’s eyes closed gently as he was lulled to sleep from the sweet tickles. 4K had a hard time stopping his tickling, even as HD told him to.
“He falls asleep to tickling, HD. He’s the cutest thing ever.” 4K cooed and pressed kiss after kiss to XD’s cheek.
“Yes. He’s adorable.” HD agreed. “And he needs sleep.”
“I wanna tickle him when he wakes up.” 4K had a giddy giggle in his voice. “And then tickle him asleep again. I want a whole day of nothing but us tickling him.”
HD gave it a moment of thought. “Well...maybe that’s not a bad idea. Just to really show him how much we still want him around.” He thought out loud, watching 4K’s grin grow wider and wider. “But not now. We’ll plan something later for that. For now, let him sleep.”
4K’s grin fell to a pout which then turned into a yawn. HD followed soon after and they cuddled up again, falling into a gentle sleep.

Ears and Tails
Sapnap4K really wants to tickle DreamXD's ears. However that's very risky to do when he's got such a ticklish tail XD can easily get some revenge tickles on.
Suggested by @sleepy--anon
DreamXD was slowly getting better at learning when Sapnap4K was in a ler mood. Though that was only because Sapnap4K was in a ler mood 90% of the time.
He ducked again under 4K’s arms, avoiding another one of the Nether God’s pounces. “Get! Away!” He warned, while a giddy laugh worked through his words.
“Gimme those ears!” 4K playfully growled. “You’ve been twitching and flicking them all day. They’re asking for a tickling!”
They had only been twitching and flickering to the sounds of the Nether. Not a place XD visited a lot so he was keeping focused and noting down every sound. XD didn’t bother trying to explain that as he had a feeling 4K wouldn’t believe it.
4K was poised, ready to strike again and XD kept himself alert and ready. He heard the sound of bubbling lava again, his ear twitched to it and 4K launched himself. XD tried ducking again but 4K had learned, quickly lowering his arm and capturing XD against his chest.
“NO!” XD shrieked and struggled. The Nether God was strong and he felt powerless as 4K leaned forward and blew a small raspberry right where the ear met his scalp.
XD yelped and squealed and kicked his legs as hard as he could into nothing. When the haze of panic had faded XD hooked his leg around 4K’s knee and pulled. 4K fell, forcing him to let go of XD to balance and the blonde God was free.
But rather than escape, XD wanted revenge.
While 4K caught himself, XD saw a shape lash out behind him and it stilled long enough for XD to see the tail. Without much of a plan, XD jumped on 4K’s back, forcing him down on his front. 4K gave an “ooft” which XD knew was fake, and quickly grabbed the tail before it could lash away.
He held a firm grip but XD was sure to be careful. He could feel the tail try to flick out of his grasp but he wouldn’t let it. Instead XD softly pulled it taunt and ran his claw slowly down it.
“H-Heheheheheeey!” 4K giggles came out like they were a surprise to him.
XD felt more confident, slowly tickling the tail. “I don’t think you should be commenting on my ears when you’re walking around with a tail this ticklish.”
“Mehehe... My-My tahail is nowhere near ahas ticklish as thohose cute ears of yohours.” 4K giggled.
XD’s face burned but his embarrassment just fuelled his revenge. He scooted more up 4K’s back and then tickled right at the base of his spine where his tail met his back.
4K’s laugh mixed with a gasp. Either he hadn’t been tickled there in a while or really didn’t know how ticklish he was there. After the initial shock, he burst out into deep, rich laughter.
“Ohoho fuck! F-FuHUuHUCK! Thahat-That-That TIHIHICKLES! FUCK!”
XD braced himself for any fight or retaliation, but it never came. 4K wiggled just slightly under him and slammed his fist to the ground but he never tried to reach for or stop XD.
Ah...not ler then. Lee.
It seems XD was still learning more about 4K and his moods. But what a fun way to learn.

Something Close to Love
Prime is as close to a parent as DreamXD has, even though parent might not be the right word. Still he runs to Prime for comfort, and Prime tries their best to give it.
Suggested by @ellioooot-8
Prime let time carry on around them. Never bothering or interfering until something would inevitably pull them into it. Suddenly they’d wake, from months or years of nothingness, to stand in the present. The crystallised and opal shapes of their realm formed in their eyes, reminding them of where they were. Who was with them.
It was an easy guess to what broke them from their daze. It was a common call Prime was used to.
They stepped towards a more gathered cluster of crystals. They pushed away a pillar and found the sleeping form of DreamXD, curled up for some kind of warmth between the cold shapes.
Sometimes not even disasters to the realms would call Prime from their slumber. Yet the call of a parent was so deep into every being. Apparently even to a being like Prime.
It did not birth XD, or conceive him. The most Prime really did was take the copy of a soul, mould it into something unique and breathe life to it. A talent it wasn’t even sure it could do. A happy surprise that it worked. A more unexpected surprise that it cause Prime to feel something.
They would not allow XD to call them mother, or father (not that XD ever tried) but Prime would not deny there was not some bond formed between them. A bond XD surely felt as whenever he had trouble, he would run here.
Prime broke apart and reformed to a better size to greet XD in. Still far taller than XD but not so gigantic. They reached out, touched XD’s shoulder and their creation instantly woke.
“DreamXD.” Prime spoke with the choir of a thousand voices. A mangled mess of language until they focused and tried again. “DreamXD.” Their voice was more manageable. “I’ve told you this is no longer your home. Your realm is the End now.”
“Prime...” XD breathed and quickly moved himself to stand up. “I’m sorry I... I tried to call for you when I got here. I was...”
Prime rose it’s hand and DreamXD stopped. “Why are you here?”
XD’s many eyes glanced away, all of them avoiding Prime’s. “I... They aren’t comfortable with me.”
“Who?” Prime asked.
“Them. Everyone! Everyone in the End. They don’t trust me. I hear them whisper about me! They say I’m a monster.”
Prime watch it’s creation for a moment before they turned away. Their long golden cloak flowed soundlessly to a cluster of crystals formed together to make a semblance of a wall. Prime thought it and new crystals formed then settled into a plush cushioned couch.
Prime sat on one side. “Sit.”
XD was quick, following Prime and sitting beside them. They looked down to the ground, their hands clasped on their thighs as Prime watched them.
“Do you think I’m a monster?” Prime asked.
XD quickly looked up. “No! No of course not!”
“Do you think they see me as a monster? Everyone else.”
XD opened his mouth to lie, then stopped himself. Prime commended that much at least. They watched a few of XD’s eyes flicker to the hole in the centre of Prime’s chest, and to the ribs and torn torso, now hidden by their robes.
“They see me as a monster, but do they hate me for it?”
“N-No...” XD shook his head.
“No. They’re cautious around me, but never hate. They just can’t understand me. And people who can’t understand something call it a monster. I am a monster to them. It does not change who I am, they just learned to accept me. In time, they’ll learn to accept you too.”
XD kept his eyes down, his fingers fidgeting with each other. “I want them to like me too...”
“Being liked is not important.”
XD shoulders slumped. Prime was caught off guard with the swell of sorrow they felt.
“But...” Prime added. “Perhaps I pushed you too soon.”
XD’s ears flicked and he looked up to Prime hopefully. “R-Really?”
“I said perhaps.” Prime said quickly. “Despite if it was too soon or not, you are the God of the End and they will see you as such. You won’t learn or connect with your people if you’re constantly at my side.”
The words were taken in, though XD hesitated to speak next. Prime could see what he wanted to ask so clearly on his face, and watched him gather up the courage.
“Can I sleep here? Just for a night?” XD quickly pleaded. “I don’t have a home yet in the Realm. I don’t want to build anywhere that makes people nervous of me. Please? Just for tonight?”
Prime’s first instinct was to deny it, but they felt soft with parental love. Or as close to it as Prime could feel.
“Just tonight.” Prime warned and they stood up. “Tomorrow, you are to try and interact with your people.”
XD nodded quickly, then Prime waved their hand and the couch he sat on turned to a large, soft, plush bed. XD melted into the covers, grabbing all the pillows he could and cuddling into them. Prime sat on the edge of the bed, and pet over XD’s back as they used to do.
Maybe Prime had pushed XD out too soon. They had never raised a child though they had watched children grow. They knew the basic care someone needed to become an adult. But XD wasn’t a normal adult. He was born already full grown, knowing basic survival, and Prime believed it was enough to teach him the End and send him off. Prime assumed the skills to interact and form connections with people would come naturally, but really what did they know about that?
Their wandering thoughts meant Prime was no longer softly petting over XD’s back, but instead their fingers began tapping and XD snorted. The sound stopped Prime’s actions for a moment. Thinking. Then they did it again. Softly strumming their fingers under XD’s top shoulder blade.
The snort came again, but this time it was followed by giggles. XD’s back shook and they rolled onto their back. That just moved Prime’s prodding from their back, to their ribs.
“Stohop...”
“Do you know what this is?” Prime asked curiously.
“Y-Yehes. It’s tihickling...!”
Prime was surprised, but no less amused. It turned more towards XD, bringing in it’s other hand and poking XD’s side. “And where did you learn that?”
“Reheheading...” XD yipped as Prime poked under his arms. He curled up, trying hard to protect his armpits but that just left his sides and ribs and his back all unprotected for Prime’s poking. No matter where he squirmed, there was always a place Prime could attack. Almost adorable.
“N-Naha...haha...please! Plehehease don’t!”
“Did you know you were ticklish?” Prime asked.
“Nohohoho!”
How odd as Prime could safely say they never designed XD with the intent to be ticklish. Perhaps the soul he was cloned from was ticklish. Or XD was just born uniquely ticklish. Either way it was a blessing at that moment, as Prime got poking to XD’s stomach, and the giggling turned to sweet laughter.
It had been so long since Prime felt something even close to this. A carefree playfulness they allowed themselves to have.
“Maybe you should just show them how ticklish you are.” Prime hummed. “They’d be absolutely endeared to you then. Of course then they’d just tickle you all the time so maybe not.”
XD wheezed and whined. His laughs became breathy and when Prime slowly stopped his tickling, the blonde God was fast asleep.
They had no heart but Prime felt a warmth within them, as close to love as they could feel. Perhaps it wasn’t how other people felt it, but for Prime was was just right.
They pulled the covers up over XD, then stood from the bed and reformed to their true size. They could feel their consciousness slipping again, but for a time they ignored it and just watched XD sleep.
There was an unfamiliar call to keep XD just a few more days but Prime denied it. XD was born in a time of peace, but Prime wouldn’t let him be pampered or spoilt. If Prime made a mistake in raising him he had faith XD could correct it. He’d be a fine God to the End, but he wouldn’t learn always following in Prime’s shadow.
Prime slipped from consciousness again and it would be a while before they slipped back in. The dull pain of missing XD would fade and be replaced with nothing.

Cloud Pillows
DreamXD and Dream get themselves a much needed break. From GeorgeHD's generosity they have a home for the night, yet Dream is still on edge and XD knows how to calm him down.
SURPRISE! Bet you didn't think I had the second story ready! WELL I DO!
Pls Enjoy :) ~
---
The room was more than secure and safe enough for DreamXD and Dream, yet XD could not make himself relax. The first thing he did was get Dream and himself a bath. Easily done in the bath that was nearly as big as the bedroom.
As XD expected (and took a moment to wonder in awe), the dresser in the room held clothes for both himself and Dream that was near perfect to their sizes. Dream was finally in soft, clean clothes of a grey t-shirt and shorts. There was a similar set in XD’s size but he only wore the shorts. Surprisingly the top came with an extra set of sleeves for his lower arms, but the size was just a little off so XD went without.
GeorgeHD was clearly more powerful than XD had been told. They only knew of the God from the accounts and stories that Prime would sometimes let them hear, but his power, not just in strength, was more than XD had ever thought. If they could have redone it again, they would have tried to seek HD out as soon as they and Dream arrived in the Overworld.
“What are these?” Dream’s curious voice poked through the thick cloud of thoughts in XD’s mind. He blinked out of his daze, watching as Dream stood beside the table in the middle of the room. The table held a large water jug and a few glasses. Dream and XD had drank all of it before the bath and when they came back to the bedroom the jug was full again. Beside that was a bowl full of fruit, and Dream had pulled out a bunch of small green ones.
“I think they are grapes.” XD answered unsurely. He had remembered seeing a picture of them in a book he read aeons ago, though the End could never grow any. He trusted whatever HD gave them would be safe to eat.
Dream pulled one of the grapes off the stem. He looked at it carefully before looking to XD again. “Can I have it?”
XD nodded and watched carefully as Dream ate one. He could see Dream ponder on the taste and eventually deciding he liked it, putting another one in his mouth. “It’s good!”
XD’s heart warmed and broke as Dream collected a few grapes and then climbed up onto the bed to join him. The first few days on the Overworld had been fine for food. The trees had plenty of apples and XD could hunt the animals easily. Yet all of that was in a pure survival instinct to keep Dream alive, not because he enjoyed any of the food. And with the burn on his arm, most times XD was feeding Dream while the boy was crying in pain.
The memory of Dream’s burning was wedged forever in XD’s mind.
Ever since Dragon had crawled her way out of the void, XD had kept constant care to know where she always was. After Dream was given to him, it was his top priority to keep him safe and yet just one mistake undone it all.
She had come across them exploring an airship and XD had taken just a split second in deciding whether to fight or flee. A split second too long as Dragon opened her maw and the purple flames engulfed the entire ship. XD shielded Dream as best they could from the fire as they teleported, but the horrible scream told them they weren’t fast enough.
XD had taken them to the main island of the End, and opened the portal to the Overworld. His only thought at that moment was to get Dream to water, and once the pain had lessened only slightly, XD had already made the choice that they couldn’t return to the End.
They survived for four days in the wild, moving from biome to biome. XD could not command anything in the Realm and Dream was too young to craft, so it was days looking for food and nights having Dream sleep while XD kept watch. They eventually came across the cherry biome in their travels, Dream having pointed it out and since he’d smiled for the first time in days over it, XD took him there. Exhaustion and stressed had XD close his eyes for just a second and when he open them and saw Dream so close to other kids, he panicked.
At least the outcome had ended with him and Dream with a room for the night.
“Are you okay?” Dream asked as he pat a hand over XD’s knee.
The memories faded off to the back of XD’s mind and he smiled to Dream. “I’m fine.”
“Do you want some grapes?” Dream offered the fruits up which XD calmly refused. Dream hesitated before speaking again, but XD could read his expressions so easily he already knew what Dream was going to ask. “Can I have your cloak?”
“Of course.” XD pulled his cloak up from the side of the bed. Despite it’s frayed and ripped condition, Dream took the cloak eagerly and wrapped it around himself.
His eyes caught onto a few of the tears at the cloaks edges and he ran his fingers over them. “Can you fix these?” The question came as more curious if XD could do it, and not asking him to actually do it.
XD shook his head. “No, not yet.” He had tried mending the cloak when Dream took his bath, but he was still exhausted and his powers refused to work. “I can fix it after I rest a little.”
“Then you can sleep now.” Dream said so surely, popping the few last grapes into his mouth. “And I can keep watch tonight.”
XD held back his snort of laughter. “No.” He said. “You will be sleeping tonight.”
“No!” Dream quickly snapped, surprising XD. “You can sleep tonight. I’ll keep us safe this time.”
XD’s heart lurched in their chest. It had been a constant struggle to get Dream to sleep for the nights they were in the Overworld. Partly from the pain and another part because he’d always fuss over XD being awake. XD had explained that sleep wasn’t needed for them as it would be for Dream, but they couldn’t deny the tiredness that plagued them. Dream was observant as ever, always trying to push XD to rest while he offered to forage despite the burning flesh on his arm. XD used to feel pride over Dream independence. Now they cursed it.
“You do not need to keep watch.” XD explained softly. “We are safe here. GeorgeHD gave us a room for the night. You can sleep just fine.”
Dream’s face twisted to a troubled expression. He huddled the cloak more around himself and mumbled into the green fabric. “We can’t trust them…”
XD frowned; troubled by Dream’s attitude though he knew he was partly to blame. When he was given Dream, the End was already void of life. Dragon made sure of that. It was just XD and Dream for years until now, and even here XD had kept them far from villages and tried to hide them from any wanderers. XD knew he looked different from mortals, and his anxiety the past few days convinced him they’d see him as a monster. Now that had been passed to Dream.
“They are good people. And HD healed you.” XD pointed out. The newly healed arm under the cloak twitched ever so slightly, almost like Dream was pulling it into himself. “How is your arm?” XD asked.
“S’fine…” Dream mumbled, fighting the urge to pull out the arm to check. XD had noticed Dream touching the healed flesh every once in a while.
“HD has done a great kindness for us. We can both sleep easily tonight.”
Despite his soft words, Dream still looked unsure. He pulled the cloak tighter around himself till he had it wrapped snugly. “No! I’ll keep watch!”
XD sighed. Dream was stubborn and arguing with him about it was no use. XD knew this from experience, and there was only one way to get through to him.
In one swift movement, one of XD’s lower hands quickly grabbed the end of the cloak and quickly flipped it over Dream’s head. When Dream squealed and fell over in a struggle to free himself, XD wrapped the cloak more and more around his brother.
“XD!” Dream shouted through the cloak as XD watched the little lump of his brother squirm under the cloak and try find the way out. “Doooon’t…”
“I’m not doing anything.” XD kept his voice calm while he grinned. “It is not me… It is the cloak!” XD made his voice more dramatic as he crowded around his brother.
“No it’s not!” Dream squeaked, giggles lacing his voice. One of his legs kicked out, not hard though, and XD caught it in his hand. His claws started just lightly scratching on Dream’s soles through the cloak and Dream screamed. “EHEHEX DEHEHE!”
“The cloak has you!”
“Nohohoho ihihit dohohoesen’t!”
Dream’s foot was released and he quickly pulled it back in. He curled himself up tightly, making himself as small as possible. He could only see XD’s shadow above him, unmoving. When he tried to pull a piece of the cloak off himself, it was pulled back up.
“Ehex Dehehehe…” Dream giggled. “Lehet me up!”
“It’s the cloak, Dreamie~” XD cooed. The shadow didn’t move but Dream could hear tapping on the bed beside him. He squealed and rolled on his side, away from the tapping. “You need to ask the cloak to let you go~”
“Nohohoho! No Ihi-EEP!”
XD’s hand came in, clawing at Dream’s side and making him scream with laughter again; flailing in the folds of the cloak. XD’s heart swelled, hearing Dream laugh again. The four days of pain would never leave XD’s mind, but he could make every day after that filled with laughter and love. And tickling would surely help that.
“It sounds like the cloak has got you all trapped, Dreamie.”
“Plehehehehease!”
The claw in Dream’s side was pulled back, and Dream tried rolling away only to be scooped up into XD’s arms. He could barely kick or even tell which way was up or down before the four hands around him were kneading into his sides, clawing into his tummy and skittering on his knees.
“Stohohohop! Plehehease stohohohop!”
“Who are you begging to, Dreamie~?”
The frustrated growl, laced with squirmy giggles, ended with a whine of giving in. “Thehehe clohohohoak!”
“Ohhh… I don’t think the cloak wants to let you go, Dreamie!”
The boy shrieked as two of XD’s hands worked on his tummy, sending him into hysterics.
“You are gonna be trapped in this cloak forever!”
“Nohohohoho!”
“If you don’t want to sleep, you’ll be gobbled up forever!”
“Ihihihi’ll sleeeeehehehep!”
XD grinned. “What was that?” His tickling lessened only slightly to allow Dream to speak easier.
“Ihi’ll slehehep! Juhust stohohop!”
XD did stop, feeling Dream fall limp in his arms. The cloak was slowly unfolded and Dream fell to the bed. His damp hair frazzled again, his cheeks red and a dopey smile on his face. A smile XD had not seen in what felt like forever.
The temptation to scoop Dream back up and tickle him was strong, but XD held back. Instead he settled down, laying by Dream as he pulled his brother up onto the pillows.
“Ready to sleep?” XD tried not to sound teasing, yet Dream still groaned defiantly.
“I’ll sleep...for a bit…” Dream relented. He gave a long yawn, stretching and turning around so when he relaxed, his arms came down and hugged the pillows into himself. They were so fluffy and soft, perfectly shaping around Dream’s face and arms like he was sinking into a cloud.
“Of course.” XD chuckled. He had one of his hands brush Dream’s hair into a somewhat manageable shape while another pulled up the cloak again, laying it over Dream like a blanket again. “I will sleep for a bit too. We will both get some rest.”
Dream wanted to argue, XD could see it in the crease between his eyebrows, but instead he relaxed again, curling up with the blanket over him and sighing. He mumbled something into the pillow and was drifting to sleep.
If time could have froze in this moment, XD would have been happy. His brother was healed and safe. They were given a room, a warm bed, food and drink a plenty. Everything in this moment was perfect and XD almost wanted to fight off the sleep to enjoy it more, but the tugs of exhaustion pulled at him to lay his head down on the soft cloud pillows as well.
XD needed to repay HD back for this somehow. To him and his family. He’d given the End brothers a great kindness that could probably never be given back but XD would make sure, somehow, he did.
For now, XD slept. Both Dream and XD slept soundly for the first time in a long while. They slept all through the day, well into the night, and didn’t wake up until dawn the next day.

Ahhh would love another fic for the younger siblings seeing their older ones being tickled
Like the dream, dreamxd and sapnap4k one 🩷🩷
A Peek Behind the Curtain
George sneaks into GeorgeHD's cloud palace and witnesses a soft tickle fight between Sapnap4K and his brother.
George was trying to get use going between his own home and GeorgeHD’s cloud palace. He knew he could “call” on it in a way and head there but it took time to learn. Usually, when George would step into the palace, HD was there and waiting. He always seemed to know when George would arrive.
Today, George walked into the palace and no-one was there.
Strange but nothing worrying. HD could be out or maybe he was asleep. George stepped in and he heard it. A distant laugh. Breathless and hysterical.
Suddenly the curiosity turned to mischief. George giggled and quickly but quietly climbed the stairs. So HD was being tickled. George was in the mood for some revenge, after one to many tickle fights with his brother ended in a loss.
When he got closer to HD’s door, George slowed his steps and crept forward. The doors were open just a bit, enough for George to peek through. He expected a struggling tickle fight between HD and one of the other Gods. George had already made the choice if it was 4K in there with him, he wouldn’t be joining. The Nether God was a brutal tickler and would have been just as quick to turn on George.
So when George saw the black hair, he silently whined but stayed to watch his brother be mercilessly tickled.
Shockingly the tickling was...soft.
HD lay on his bed of soft flowing sheets and forming clouds. He was softly smiling and giggling as 4K lay on his side beside him. There was a black tail softly curling up HD’s side. 4K hand one of his hands raised, his fingers wiggling and slowly lowering to HD’s stomach.
HD’s laugh would change from a giggle to high pitched squeals without 4K even touching him. But he made no move to protect his stomach or roll away. He wiggled his hips slightly, but kept in the same spot.
“I think you’re more ticklish from anticipation than the real thing.” 4K’s voice chuckled.
“Nohoho...” HD giggled and shook his head.
“No?” 4K grinned, leaning his face in closer to HD’s. “Do you want me to check~?”
HD giggled again, shaking his head and trying to move his head from 4K’s, but there wasn’t anywhere he could escape to without moving. 4K’s lips connected to his cheek, blowing soft raspberries. Combined with the tail still swirling and swishing up and down his side, HD melted.
George stepped back, and quietly made his way out He was not going to risk being caught and let himself be tickled by 4K. And something about the two Gods time together seemed...close.
HD’s cheeks swirled with a soft rose colour. A colour George had never seen on his brother’s cheeks before and he didn’t want to dwell on that train of thought for long.
George would leave and he’d find Dream or Sapnap or XD to hang out with. He’d put what he saw out of his mind, until HD was ready to tell him.
#godsiblingau#lee!georgehd#ler!sapnap4k#covenofwords#this one is super short but george would absolutely u-turn if he saw them even just cuddling

He's The Sun
DreamXD isolates himself when he feels down. Hiding away in his Glade, OP finds him and gives him some cheering up.
DreamXD never liked to be around people when one of his downer moods would take him. It would be impossible to explain to anyone how he was feeling, especially when the mood just seemed to steal his voice. Talking would suddenly become an effort not even his Godly body could manage, so to avoid burdening anyone to understand him, he’d hide away in his Glade.
XD curled up between the thick wild grass and overgrown shrubs. His plan was to stay here until whatever mood he was in would fade. He was never usually gone so long anyone would come looking for him,
But a golden flash suddenly entered the Glade. XD was no longer alone, yet he wasn’t so usually put off by the idea.
It only took OP one look around the Glade before he saw right where XD was hiding. He quickly crossed to the shadowed grass, but left about five feet distance between them as he crouched down peeked between the leaves to catch XD’s eye.
“Are you okay?” OP asked softly and XD shook his head.
Before XD would be second guessing sharing his feeling so openly. There was always the nagging thought of being judged. But he never felt that with OP. There was something calming about the golden God that soothed that nagging voice inside XD.
“Okay. Do you want to be alone?”
XD paused for a moment before he shook his head. A small smile tugged on OP’s lips. “Can I come join you?”
XD nodded and OP was quick to crawl in beside him. When he sat down, he immediately pulled XD into his chest and XD was happy to be lead.
OP was warm. Not like 4K, who was hot like a campfire. OP was warm like the shine of a sunny morning. Not strong enough to be unbearable. Just enough to warm the skin. XD closed his eyes to bask in the feeling. One of the golden God’s hand softly pet against his back, easing his muscles and letting his spine relax.
“XD. Can I try something to cheer you up?”
XD paused again but eventually nodded, trusting whatever OP had planned. Perhaps he should have given second thought to the plan because of course the first thing OP did was give a little pinch to his side. When XD squeaked, and wriggled ever so slightly away, another hand came forward and pinched a tickly spot under XD’s shoulder blade.
“You’re in a bad mood.” OP said, with a smile on his face. “So I’m going to pull out all those bad thoughts and feeling out of you.”
XD peeked to see while OP was pinching any tickly spot he could, he was also making a motion of closing his fingers together and pulling away from XD; pulling out some invisible matter.
XD wiggled as much as he could, but he wasn’t moving very far. As half of his body was trying to escape the ticklish assault, the other half was still trying to cosy up and keep himself in OP’s arms.
When OP pinched at the spot just under their armpits, the squeaking broke out into a full giggle, and XD buried thier head into OP’s neck.
“Nohoho nohoho nohoho...”
“Ahh, there’s your beautiful voice.” OP purred and pressed soft kisses against XD’s cheek. “Seems my method is working, I’ve managed to recover your heavenly voice.”
He pinched a good spot by XD’s hip that made them jump and give OP enough of an opening to lay XD down between the grass. The End God completely at his mercy as OP carried on. Sometimes it would be less a pinch and more of fingers skittering up their tummy, or thumbs kneading into their sides.
XD laughed and squeaked and pleaded for the tickling to stop, but all the while his arms, which were more than capable of defending himself or at least covering over his most ticklish spots, stayed up by his head and well out of the way. How was OP supposed to ignore such an open invitation to keep going?
#lee!dreamxd#ler!op#covenofwords#godsiblingau#i debated on adding the god sibling tag but it's done now i've done it

Prime Redesign!
I was very much inspired by Chaos from Hades 1 and 2. A confusing and ethereal being. I will absolutely be adding and changing some stuff but this is the main idea of them.
Having lived for so so long they are very apathetic to the concerns of the realms, instead letting the Gods take care of it. The only thing they have some care for is DreamXD, who they view as their child, but even then it's a complicated relationship.
Now a days it remains in it's own domain which only XD can freely come and go from now.
