#spartacus #im so disappointed tbh #and like the original show had some amazing villains who were scum of the earth but like #COULD run a show #gods of the arena was about two of the most heinous people i’ve seen on tv #it was great #and i will add i think it being a prequel was key #it was about their evolution into wholehearted evil #and the framing as a ‘batiatus reliving his life before he dies’ was so good #returning to ASHUR in a sequel series like a decade later….. clownery
