I need to see her struggle ok I neeeeed to see her struggle I wanna see her make that realization and understand that the vision she holds was not recognition from a god. I want her to wonder abt celestia and I want the traveler to look at her post quest and question the idea of rebirth in the most regular sense. I wanna see her frustrated and actually coping in a more productive way (TO SHOW GROWTH FROM HER SELF DESTRUCTIVE COPING IN THE WT) I wanna see her angry at nahida in spite of herself and I wanna see her recognize tht her emotions are valid. I wanna see her canonically fit in to sumeru’s lore instead of the writers leaving a trail for me to pick up

like while I do agree signs of collei’s development and trauma between the game and wt exist (ie: her character stories, some of her voicelines, some things others say abt her, that one part in the aq) I also agree that it’s ao disappointing how they chose to recharacterize her as sumeru’s quiet and shy girl + amber fusion bc she had such an interesting character already!! and even if it changed since the wt (which I would expect) it still would’ve been a lot more interesting than the collei in game.
