Yap Session 3: Sturniolo Triplets/How the Holy Spirit talks through people.

!!!THIS IS FROM A CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE PLEASE SCROLL IF YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE!!!

I want to specify that the Holy Spirit is not God or Jesus, the Holy Spirit is not a wind, a fire, a dove, or a ghost, He is often symbolized by those things. The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity, not third because he's least in value but third because he was the last person to be revealed through God. Once you become a Christian or a born-again, the Holy Spirit starts living within you, you want to keep Him there.

Okay so in this Sturniolo Triplets video Matt (the one in the red, on the right) was essentially giving a speech about music, and then Chris (the one on the left) said he felt as if something compelled Matt to say that because the way Matt explained it sounded so thought out and perfect. (Timestamp 12:30). And, that made me think about the fact that the Holy Spirit uses people to talk. (I mentioned this a little in Yap Session 1: Sturniolo Triplets/Your tongue has power).

Acts 1:8 “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” (Words in red because Jesus was speaking). Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight." This passage is Jesus speaking to his disciples telling them that when the Holy Spirit comes onto them they will receive the power, to be witnesses for Him.

Acts 2:1-4, "When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them." This passage talks about how the Holy Spirit came down, they spoke in different tongues. (In a different language, this is a different topic but it's still relevant, I'll get more in-depth about the gift of speaking tongues another day).

Pastors and teachers obviously have wisdom, which, is a gift of the Spirit. When a Christian gets asked about God, 9 times out of 10, it's going to be the Holy Spirit talking through them. The person will know what they're saying but not exactly have control, they'll have control but they don't. (I don't know how to explain it lol). Not all Christians have the gift of wisdom, but one Christian can have multiple gifts of the Spirit but I digress.

The Holy Spirit uses people to talk to others, which is very interesting if you ask me. Like imagine having a conversation about God with a friend and randomly you start speaking about things you never thought you would talk about ever. That's basically what it's like to have the Holy Spirit talk through you. If you're a Christian and that's never happened to you, don't worry it will, and soon. Make sure that your relationship with God is strong so that it happens. Never forget that Jesus loves you! ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

Hi, great question!! Honestly me neither, I might not watch it because they're messing with the spiritual realm and by doing so they're opening doors for the devil and his demons to come into their lives, and by you watching it, you're also opening doors but honestly. I hope that they have an encounter with God afterward and turn to Him. But I digress, the Sturniolos are 21 year-old-men who can fend for themselves.

PS!: I am a fan of Sam and Colby, but I only watch them for RESEARCH PURPOSES!!!! They are hilarious but I'm not a huge fan of what they do. They are grown men who have the right to do whatever they want, and for me personally, watching Sam and Colby shows me the spiritual world and why I shouldn't mess with it. I pray for protection before watching them, most of the time I'll pause the video to talk to God randomly for no reason lol. And after I pray for Sam and Colby, protection for them and the others that are in their videos. Anyways, thanks for reading this tangent Jesus loves you!˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

Yap Session 2: Spiritual Warfare/Demonic Attacks.

!!!I AM NOT TRYING TO FORCE ANYTHING ONTO YOU PLEASE SCROLL IF YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE!!!

I, like all Christian's have gone through Spiritual Warfare. It's hard to identify Spiritual Warfare but once you do, you know how to fight it, by using the Armour of God. If you don't know what that is I got you. I am not a pastor, just a girl who loves the Lord and wants to help others by telling them what I know.

Belt of truth: Sets the believer apart from the world and protects them from lies 

Breastplate of righteousness: Protects the heart from Satan's accusations

Shoes of the gospel of peace: Allows believers to share God with others and to know that God loves them 

Shield of faith: Protects believers from the devil's attacks 

Helmet of salvation: Protects the mind from the devil's doubt 

Sword of the Spirit: The Word of God, which believers can use to fight off the devil and his temptations (Ephesians 6:14-17)

My church had a youth service on 10/5/24 man, I tell you the Holy Spirit MOVED. My friend (a fellow youth member) preached about the full armour of God. His explanation of it really opened my eyes and helped me realize that the reason that the devil attacks me so much is because I don't have the full armour of God on, and the devil knows that I am destined for great things through Christ and he was going to stop that in any way that he can.

Spiritual warfare is exhausting especially when you don't know it's happening. When I was going through spiritual warfare I felt drained, I didn't want to get out of bed, I was tired, unable to focus on schoolwork, sleeping through church, overthinking, panic attacks, crying for no reason and so much more. One thing that I remember specifically was that the devil was using to bring me back down is music. I love music, when I was in the world I was hooked to sexual music such as, The Weeknd, Chase Atlantic, Plvtinum, Billie Eilish, and much, much more. The devil was trying to tell me that I needed to listen to them 'only for the melody' no, cause if I listened to their music, I would've payed attention to the lyrics and fallen into sexual temptation. Music has power over you, your mind, your soul. So, I replaced them with Christian artists that I absolutely love. (If you want I'll send you a list of Christian arstists that you should try out, just send me a dm ♡). Now I'm going to tell you what I used to help me get through the spiritual attack in just five steps. Step one: Identify the lie.

Genesis 3:2-4 "The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ ” ��You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman." This verse is talking about Eve, Eve was under a spiritual attack from the lie that the serpent (the devil) gave her, that's why she ate the fruit. Then there was the fall of humanity.

Now in John 8:31-32 says, "To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (Words in red because it was Jesus speaking). Lies, lead to bondage. For example, let's take someone who's addicted to porn. Porn would be the fruit, the lie could be, 'I'm lonely and unloved, so I need a false excerpt of what love is'. This is just an example, I'm not saying that if someone is addicted to porn they're demon possessed, no. When you do this, keep in mind that the lie could be hidden, so take your time. One quote that I love says, "The strongholds in our lives are the lies we believe."

Step two: Repent from the lie.

Psalm 51:7-12 "Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice. Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me." This is a prayer that King David prayed to God after he slept with Batsheba and killed her husband. See, David just commited adultery and murder. Two things that God hates, now he was asking God to make him white as snow. And guess what? God will always do that. Now that doesn't mean, sin whenever repent later, it doesn't work like that. You need to feel conviction and genuine regret.

Step three: Stand against the lie. Ephesians 6:10-12 "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Be ready for attacks by putting on the full amour of God cause if you do, then satan cannot touch you.

James 4:7-8 "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded." Submit and run to God and He will help you.

Matthew 16:22-23 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!” Jesus turned and said to Peter “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.” In this passage Jesus was telling His disicples about how He was going to get crucified and reserect on the 3rd day. Then Peter pulled Him aside to tell Him it was never going to happen. Essentially what Jesus was doing here was rebuking the devil for trying to stop what God had planned for Him. You can directly quote Jesus here when the devil tries to attack you.

Step four: Replace the lie with truth.

Matthew 12:43-45 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.” Unfortunately, when you finally get free from a spiritual attack demons will come back with stronger ones so that you end up in a worse state then what you were before.

Galatians 5:16-17 "So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want." Your flesh has the power to make you do things that might not want to do, like listening to music that you're not supposed to listen too, in my case. Here are some emotions that can be replaced with fruits of the Spirit. ~Anxiety, replace it with peace. ~Depression, replace it with joy. ~Hate, replace it with love. ~ Quick temper, replace it with patience. ~Selfishness, replace it with kindness ~Evil thoughts, replace them with good ones. ~Fear, replace it with faith. ~Harshness, replace it with gentleness. ~Fleshly desires, replace it with self control. ~Shame, replace it with honor. Step five: Walk in truth. Psalm 86:11-13 "Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead." The truth of God is stronger than any lie the devil wants to tell you.

Never forget to pray, remember that being a Christian in this world is single-handely the hardest thing you could ever do in this world. Remember that God set you free, you have access to freedom today because, Jesus loves you. ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

I lost the anon but they were responding to this post. Saying something about how what I said about the respect doesn't correlate with the Bible and Jesus' teachings, here's my response to that.

Christians are humans we do not have any supernatural ability we are literally just humans and one of the things that come with being a human is a limited amount of patience.

Yes, Christians should have more patience than others and turn their cheek when someone says something to harm us but it's super hard to. Even Jesus who is perfect, had a limited amount of patience. He literally flipped tables because of something that bothered Him. I am still working on getting more patience with myself, my family, and my friends.

For example: (this never happened this is just an example) A random stranger coming up to me telling me that I am a homophobic person just because I'm Christian will bother me and any other Christian. I will only respond with "Okay, God bless you!" Then pray for them. But after a certain amount of time of that happening, you sort of snap in anger. Obviously, that's wrong you shouldn't do that but still. Christians are still humans, and just like how you have a limited amount of patience, so do we. That being said, Jesus loves you! ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

you don’t need to be “saved” from homosexuality

Yeah, if that's what you think. I don't care. A person's sexuality is none of my business, and it doesn't define a person. That decision is between them and God. I don't have a say in it nor do I care...

Christians don't have the right to judge based on appearance, but we have the right to judge righteously.

Matthew 7:3-5 (NIV): "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye." (Words in red because Jesus was speaking). This passage explains that Christians cannot judge people by what they do when they do the same thing, I'm not saying that Christians are homosexuals but some are, I am saying that Christians cannot judge when we are sinners too, once we fix our sin, THEN we can help our brothers and sisters be saved from that sin.

Needless to say, homosexuality, IS in fact a sin. Leviticus 18:22 (NIV): "Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable." This passage is saying, that a man, cannot have sexual relations with another man. That is in fact a sin. Now, just because you're homosexual doesn't mean God hates you, no. He doesn't hate you and never will. He hates the sin.

I don't care about your sexuality or what you identify as; as long as you respect me, I'll respect you.

of course we are only human, but the whole Christian mission is calling us to be Christ-like. So living by a dogma like "respect me and I'll respect you" is unchristian, not having flaws. Having flaws and sometimes reacting in anger is natural. Aiming to overcome those flaws is the Christian calling. Respecting others, according to Christ and the saints, is not dependent on their respect for you.

Yes, and I apologize for saying that but I am still working on myself cause I am still a 'Baby-Christian'. I am not and will never claim to be a perfect 'Holier than thou' Christian because I'm not. Acting on anger is how I was raised so it's a part of my testimony, I am still working on that. And I apologize for saying that.

I keep getting anons from people telling me that I am a 'horrible and gross' person for saying that Catholics are a different religion.

First of all I'd like to apologize but I'd also like to explain why I called them a different religion.

I'm super sorry to anybody who has offended by what I said before but there's one thing that's super simple that you can do if you don't like something that I post. Scroll.

The reason I called Catholics a different religion is because that's what I grew up thinking. My parents have always taught me Catholics are completely different religion and my friends who are Catholics have told me that they consider themselves a different religion from Christianity so that is what I believe my entire life so if I am wrong or if my friends or if my parents are wrong we're all sorry.

But that doesn't give you the right to hate on me for absolutely nothing. You guys don't know me, you don't know what I look like what my name is, how old I am. Nothing, all you guys know is that I'm Christian, I'm a girl, and that I'm a fan of the Sturniolos. That's it.

And I would like to add no matter the amount of hate nothing is going stop me from doing this cause I love doing this and I'm going to do what I love. Unless God tells me to stop not you. Thank you.

Hii! No, this isn't rude. You're curious, and I'm here to answer your questions. I said that 99.9% of the time, I'll never be uncomfortable answering a question, and I'll stick by that.

So Christians and the LGBTQ+ Community don't get along well and we all know this, it hurts me to see them argue over what's right and wrong. I as a Christian personally don't have a problem with the LGBTQ Community, before I was saved I was bisexual.

Nick being gay doesn't take away from the fact that he is hilarious and never fails to make his fans laugh. Christians aren't supposed to judge others based on literally anything about them, we are supposed to love all equally, just like how Jesus loved us.

I know I'm not technically supposed to say this and I'm sorry if this seems offensive but, I know many Christian homosexuals and whenever someone asks me about them and what I feel I always say, that's between them and God I have no say in their relationship with God.

But I digress, I don't agree with the side of Christians that are homophobic and I don't agree with the LGBTQ Community either, whatever side of Christians is the 'I don't care what you do that's between you and God', I'm on that side and I believe that all Christians should be on that side as well.

Christians shouldn't be provoking the LGBTQ Community by going to their parades and preaching, (unless God told them to do so in which case, they have to do that). But honestly. I really don't care. I find Nick funny and I'm a fan of the Sturniolos, if any other Christian has a problem with it, they can simply stop talking to me, because I haven't felt conviction to stop watching them because Nick is gay, and if I do, I'll stop watching them and that's it, no one can tell me otherwise.

No hate to you at all and idk if that anon meant in a wrong way but asking if black women should be saved is crazy. Why shouldn’t they? Why are they asking that? It doesn’t matter. This question has been asked so much in the media and it’s asked in the sense as if the black women matter or not. I personally think you shouldn’t answer anons like that because it can cause an uproar on your acct and you seem nice and you’re not trying to bother anyone and I’d hate to see you get hate. I may not follow god myself but like you said, EVERYONE should be saved. Leave race out of it.
