i would need to buy beads (and a new length of synthetic leather), but i think i might make my own version of reggie’s necklace?

so i’ve been wanting to buy reggie’s necklace (like from an etsy shop or something), but my hesitation lies in that i have my own pretty iconic necklace&earrings set that i wear all the time that my best friend bought for me a while ago

but my leather snapped on that a few weeks ago and i haven’t replaced it, so what if i replaced it and rethreaded it with beads as well this time and had an amethyst centered version of reggie’s necklace?? that’d fuck pretty hard, i think, and it would still match with the earrings
