on another note, its genuinely SO FUCKING SAD that dorian and orym both really want to explore this but the situation is so large and fraught that they didnt even get the little joys of being like ! you liked me this whole time?? i liked you this whole time!! and have sweet little moments of realization and exploration together without the heavy weight of expectation to 'stay on task' both by the literal whole world and themselves

like fr what can u even do when u and ur crush are both the "i dont wanna bother anybody" guy but the worlds gonna end
