Alright, this one's a spoiler from a pretty old arc of The Order of the Stick. If you want to know what I was on about in the tags last week, read on!

In short: Kanaya's looking a lot like Durkula right now.
For those out of the loop, one of the heroes of D&D webcomic The Order of the Stick was killed and resurrected as a vampire. After regaining his free will, his subsequent actions were...

... a little familiar.
(The elf's a villain, for the record.)
So, upon resurrection, both of our heroes appear to retain their current morals - with a little added violence - and respect their previous allegiances. It seems like a win, right?

See, 'Durkon' was only pretending to be the same guy as before. The real Durkon is trapped in his own head, his body piloted by an evil spirit - one who (*gasp*) doesn't even have Durkon's signature accent! He's faking the dang accent, which is still so funny. Sucks for the Order, though.
As for Kanaya...

While she appears to have retained her personality, she also seems to have been vampirized by some third party, for reasons unknown. Her situation is murky, to say the least - so seeing how much in common she has with a vampire who only ever pretended to be a good guy is the opposite of reassuring.
