So just like. For grins. I sang something this morning for the express purpose of having fun (<-did not warm up at ALL) and, for some reason, I decided to record myself and see what happened. And you know what, it...it actually sounded. pretty good. Go fucking figure, lmao.

#like if I had tried to sing this song years ago when I put Super High Stakes on everything all the time...there are passages I FOR REAL #would have fallen apart on. and I got through them with...minimal issue this morning #I finished listening to this recording and I went 'you know with a bit of specific tweaking I could actually PERFORM this if I wanted to'#and. idk. maybe this doesn't mean anything but it feels really significant? because I don't remember the last time I was able to #legit just. sing. without worrying about how my sound production somehow reflects my inherent worth (or lack thereof) as a person #I've been able to sing for catharsis a few times in the last couple of months but I think this is the first time I actually sang FOR FUN #god I'm gonna cry I never thought I'd be able to fully enjoy singing again but maybe I was wrong
