Facts about Shelby, Fwhip, and Lizzie

●Shelbys more popular among the animalistic hybrids kingdoms, like fwhip and lizzies, rather then human and elf kingdoms. Even though she's technically the mate/lover of a (mostly) human queen

●BTW switched it to be where Kath is 10% wither and 10% cat. So she like, has most of the abilities of them but doesn't display any physical features

●anyways, Fwhip tricks Oli into a haunted hosue and scares him so bad that the boy falls into the basement. And gets hurt and since he's hurt he can't teleport

●Fwhip goes to get help but forgets for a good hour until Shelby is frantically looking for her son and Fwhip is like "oh him? Yeah he fell into the basement" "....excuse me fucking WHAT!?" "Yeah he fell down.....oh SHIT- that's why I came up here Olis in the basement- FUCK HES BEEN DOWN THERE FOR AN HOUR!" "HES WHAT!?"

●Shelby is not amused, she in fact, is thinking of chasing him with a spoon and hitting him

●this takes place in the festival btw^^

●Lizzie starts paying the underground foxes in chicken, after hearing about where Shelby came from

●Fwhip and Lizzie will casually give the children explosives. False and Oli pranked Fwhip with saifmd explosions by popping one every time he sat down in a throne

●Fwhipz when Shelby is mad at him, like for the Oli incident, will throw a baby goblin at her. She of course catches them, and then starts to just calm down in order to not scare rhe child

●the citizens where flabbergasted at that, and a little weary of her hodling their cubs

●at this point they just take it as a free babysitter for an hour. That's the reason she's popular at the goblin cave

●Shelby also smells like mud and mist, soemhtign frogs like, and will often carries snacks, something foxes like, maybe it's cause she'll help enchant books, with the pandas, and maybe it's because she carries jars of fireflies that the bats seem to enjoy

●maybe that's why she's popular in animalia

●maybe she's more popular in those animalistic empires rather then the humans and elven ones because other judgment free attitude, maybe it's because she doesn't judge them based on their species stereotypes, maybe it's because she's overall cheerful, maybe it's because despite being the lover of a ruler and knowing so many others she doesn't look down upon them, or maybe it's cause she knows what it's like to be judge for your species. Maybe it's all that and more

●maybe that's why she's so popular in the animal communities and not so much as with the humans and elfs.

thinking about the vaguely cannon state of the empires musical again and i think we should exploit that for as much comedy as possible. oli falls out of afterlife and is like “sausage please you have to recognize me from somewhere” and sausage just goes “wait a minute… aren’t you the narrator from the ocean queen musical?” and oli just sort of stares at him for ten minutes before officially giving up.

For my classes I’ve had to study the art style of Wolfwalkers, and I had the idea of making a Fwhip (fWhip??) design in that style!!!!!!! I’m not sure how well I executed it tho rip

(note, ive noticed that fwip and sausage's skins are. Extremely similar. So for that reason I hope it's recognisable as sausage considering I've never drawn either before xD)

God of Lore, not God of Lighting

Stratos headcanon where the citizen of Stratos sometimes just hold parties "In honour of Joel" and proceed to get really drunk.

They all sit in circles around the fountain, which is filled with red wine instead of water. The City streets fill with the sound of loud music and very out of tune, very drunk singing; and the scent of fermented grapes and freshly baked pies can be noticed all the way in Animalia (the council doesn't enjoy it as much as the Stratossers do).

The people proudly shout "Hail our Mighty God Joel!" while they take another swig from their tankard, all very well knowing that it's just an excuse to get absolutely fucked up.

Joel doesn't really mind. He might even take a sip or two himself. He's just happy enough he can give these people a safe place to lose themselves for the night.

[aka: the idea of Joel, the god of Lore, being less like Zeus (God of sky & thunder) but more like Dionysos (God of the grape-harvest, wine making, fertility, festivity, religious ecstasy, and theatre).]

wip wednesday!

So I've decided to adjust the idea of wip wednesday for myself after some reflection on how i use it. I want to have a reason to revisit older works that I shelved for one reason or another, a reason to edit the works that have collected a bit of dust, a reason to get excited about my past ideas and passions.

Which is why I've decided that every wednesday, I will pick up a fic that I haven't touched in a few weeks, write a bit for it, and then post a snippet from that fic. This way there is progress being made on these older fics, and I can rekindle the love that I had for them.

This weeks wip wednesday is from the Gobland Lore fic! (ft., Great Witch Shelby and Fwhip)

“Do you think.. That they lived here? Before the- the tragedy?” 

“Yes. I do.” 

Fwhip couldn’t meet her eyes. 

His face felt hot, and it was hard to breathe. It was like he was choking. Did they think they were choking? Choking on corruption and sculk? 

He only realized there were wet streaks down his cheeks and his beard when Shelby started rubbing his back. 

“I know it’s hard. But I’m going to figure out how to cure them, and then we can help them get back to their life. Together.” 

He sniffed, and wiped his cheeks with his sleeves. “How? This place looks like it’s been like this for decades at least, maybe even centuries!”

“W-well, why don’t you… um.” She got quiet, hand almost stilling on his shoulder. “Oh! Why don’t you build them a little house? Somewhere to stay while they get used to living again where you can keep an eye on them in case I need to heal them again.”

Fwhip nodded slowly. “Yeah. Yeah, I can do that.”
