Today was super awesome! We got to go out to @farrmanimalrescue for a special event to celebrate the new year with Cooper and his gang. Our visit included being able to paint with our favourite animal friend. I chose Daisy. Daisy was basically thrown away to die. Crows had eaten her eyes and her tongue. Even though she is blind, has some issues with swallowing and brain damage, she is the sweetest and most loving girl. Talk about overcoming obstacles! It was a pleasure to meet the animals and hear about their stories. Melissa and the volunteers of this organization have huge hearts. A lot of the animals will be living there until the end of their days due to multiple health concerns that require specialized care and knowledge. I learned so much today, and am thankful that these kind people exist. It was also lovely to meet “Auntie P” - the voice of Cooper. While mommy Heather has so many videos and pictures of me from the past year, it is too upsetting to her to go through them and post them here right now. . Mommy Heather will no longer be volunteering at the farm. She asked if I could please live my dream of living with her and being her support animal. We love each other and we take care of each other. Sadly, the farm will not allow it, as they feel that it goes against their mission statement. .
