Last night I went to the cactus taverna with Dad, and I saw Shiloh and Alex Wersen Playing guitar/singing. I Haven't seen them since elementary school/summer camp, but I recognized the faces immediately. Shiloh sang beautifully. After dinner, I said hi, and Alex remembered me too (I don't know how fondly). It was just interesting.

After that, I went to barnes and noble and I got some coffee and books and sat myself down to read in one of the comphy chair next to two women who were apparently spanish/french teachers. One of them was talking to the other quite animatedly about a new teaching method. After a while, they asked if they were too loud and bothering me. I said "Not at all, It's actually very interesting." Then they included me in the conversation and I talked about my spanish class back in high school and how it was taught, and they tried to do some excercies with the new method with me. It was really more fun than it sounds, haha. The "new method" was really just alot of constant repetition really. I wish them both luck.

I also talked to this girl who works there. She apparently goes down to the 9:30 club all the time, and Interpol plays there often, becuse one of the members has a house in the area, or something like that. (I was wearing an interpol shirt, that's how the conversation started)She is ALSO apparently the girlfriend of one of the Guys in Goatbag (the one who wears the mask) and knows about the guy that uses final scratch to "dj" between their gigs. He's in the band Hardsell. Go figure. Whatever, I wouldn't imagine that to be the most receptive audience anyway.

I tried to order the "Thunder Lightning Strike" cd from the Go! team, but it was home delivery only. I also talked to Chris who works behind the coffee counter about him going to otakon. Apparently almost everyone who works there goes to otakon every year. I have still never been. Someday, someday.

There was a cute guy in the comics/graphic novels section, and I was going to discreetly point out that I really liked the book that he was buying, but he was on his cell phone.

And that was last night.

Went out to dinner today and Lucio was totally ready to help me eat my food 😆

I also bought this cute totebag, but with Lucio inside it’s more like a goatbag 😁❤️
