and here’s some more exciting news to share with you, we won the FIRST place for #mango (ghottam) @konkan_fruit_fest Ghottam are the local wild varieties of mangoes, exceptionally sweet, very fragrant and each variety has a unique flavour. Most Goan homes have a wild mango tree, now on the decline as they are being cut down to make space. We are the third generation having these fruits, so our tree is probably more than a 100 years at the least. The only way to eat these #mangoes is to tear of a bit at one end, suck up all the juicy flesh first, then tear open the mango and dig in. Messy and delicious.
