(not a request, suggestions needed)
Heeyy!!! Just red your post about not requesting characters with vague descriptions. I don't request much from you aside for that recent jealous! Sakusa one (loved it btw, and the Hinata plot twist 👌).
But anyway, girl I'm trying to get back into writing but. . . . THIS SHIT HARD like nearly everything I put down feels like some bull, I'm literally cringing at every word. I can come up with great words choices, and describe writing as a whole like a poet, but sit in front of my computer try to come up with stories for characters and OCs and all of a sudden. . . I'm dumb, the math ain't mathin
Like I cam ewith litt
(I actually took down the post bc I felt bad so even if you had a request I goT YOU POOKIE AHDHDISBSD) IM GLAD YOU LIKED THE JEALOUS!SAKUSA PIECE!! I wanted to make it more so, but I’m not good with jealousy pieces that don’t delve into angst PFFFFFF-
Writing is one of the most relaxing and most difficult aspects of my life, so I COMPLETELY understand. It’s like you have these words and this idea ready to go but there’s something missing, and suddenly you’re lost to it, back at square one, nothing is appealing and you’re ready to never write again.
But let me tell you, writing cheesy self inserts has always, and I mean ALWAYS been there to snap me out. Writing for, quite literally, myself. I write the same trope over and over. I write the same characters, I test the waters with new ones, and I just. Don’t post them. The difference between putting yourself vs an oc for me, is you’re you. You know EVERYTHING about you already, you don’t have to create answers for someone new (which is already a talent yall be so cool with these OC’s 😩🩷). You know what you love in your fruit salads, and you know how long it takes you in the shower. You know how much you do or don’t like a genre of food, and you may or may not know your right from your left without your hands. And that’s the beauty of it. No think, just do, just write.
That’s just my advice! Something that’s always clicked for me- and remember, ultimately we write for ourselves, we see ourselves in the pieces we write for, so you might as well put yourself, quite literally, in them, until you’re satisfied.
Idk. Maybe I’m rambling for nothing JDBDIDNDDIDN-
