Beneath Their Masks Chapter 31 is out! (The final chapter!)

All things must come to an end, and all that jazz. But I do think I made the one in the red's left arm a bit too long and it looks a little funny. But other than that, I really liked the result, and it was very fun to do!

I thought of a poly x reader scenario. How would Bokuto and Akaashi react to their S/O waking up in cold sweat from a nightmare they had of everything that happened in the infamous BokuAka fanfic "In Another Life"? Reader has Akaashi's point of view in it and is very scared that Kotaro might not stay with them any longer. Could be headcanons or a drabble, your choice! You're free to decline this tho if it's too much! I hope you're doing well😊

A/N | Hlgask thankyou so much for the request I’m gonna cry <3 But I haven’t actually read In Another Life yet, (but I will once I’m emotionally stable lmao) so I only know the basic storyline :/ But here’s what I’ll do! Still gonna write something for this, but it’ll be an unspecified nightmare :D

You wake up from a nightmare in a cold sweat and shaking slightly

Akaashi is a light sleeper and woke up as soon as you sat up

“Darling? Are you okay?” He sees the way you’re shaking and the glossy look in your eyes, and sits up properly to face you, “you’re okay now, it was just a nightmare”

Tears well in your eyes and you hug your knees to your chest, “it was horrible ‘Kashi, I was so scared”

The sound of you both talking wakes Bokuto up and he leans over with groggy eyes

When he sees a tear roll down your cheek he snaps awake, “baby-“ his voice cracks, so instead of talking he just holds his arms out for you to fall into

You bury your face in his chest as he holds you tight

The other side of the bed lifts up and Akaashi walks around to the side you and Bokuto are on

He presses a kiss to each of your heads and whispers something to Bokuto, then says a bit louder, “I’m gonna make us some tea then if you want, we can talk about your nightmare”

10/10 would provide great care, Botuto brings the comfort, Akaashi brings the tea and whatever snacks you like.

And Akaashi will sit down and analyse your dream with you so you can prevent it from happening again
