Heya,
Me again (❤️ anon) and I just read your dream post (funny that after you wish me good dreams about the platonic yanderes that you end up having one 😊) and I was just wondering a few things:
Is the reader part of this story as well? If yes, what “group” are they in? Are they part of the younger kids?
If so, is there anything like inter-personal (not talking about romance more so like, who’s best friends with who? Who knows who since childhood? Just stuff like that)
And lastly, I really like the idea of like the different cliques of people, like the jocks (Scott vibes), theater kids (I kind of get Kurt from that), the "delinquents with a heart of gold” (obviously Logan). Also, I have this scene of reader maybe being a new student at the school and maybe getting picked on/bullied by someone - probably the humans or something if this is also a mutant!au - and Logan or one of the others just being like: “that’s a pup right there, not letting someone walk all over them” and basically taking them under their wing
Feel free to answer or ignore or whatever. I love the idea ❤️ (Also, I’ve started writing the little 🖤 dark au scene)
-❤️ Anon
Yep is rather funny, isn't it, ❤ Anon?😂😅 To answer your questions:
• Yes, Reader is definitely a part of the story as well! And yes, they are part of the younger kids! I'm going to say they are the youngest, actually, and are part of the school due to having higher grades or more potential? compared to most of their old schoolmates/classmates...
• Some of them have known each other since childhood! Victor and Logan are brothers (Logan did get amnesia or his memories blurred, though; Victor is his protective and obsessed older sibling/friend), Kurt and Rogue are adopted/step siblings (it happened a few years ago), Wanda and Pietro are Erik's kids, but are kinda... adopted or were government experiments, they're friends with Lance and Todd and Fred, as well as Evan... Scott and Jean were best friends, and still are, just getting romantic with each other, Kitty, Kurt, and Evan are a friend trio, a qunituplet if you add Pietro and Todd/Toad, the Brotherhood form a small group at times, so do the X-Kids and older X-Teens, Warren and Hank and Bobby are buddies and lab partners, etc. ... So, a lot of them do get along and have little groups and dynamics, it just can get a bit confusing who knows who, and how they know each other😅😊
• And yeah, there are some cliques, they aren't as pronounced, but they are there. It IS a mutant au, good eye! There are a few human students, too, and they can be a bit of a pain... And... there is a dark side to the campus, lurking beneath the calmer school exterior. Look too deep, and you can't go back to how things were... And yep! Reader ends up as a target, being younger (like, fourteen years old or the youngest fifteen year old there) and having a mutation, possibly an odd one or one that isn't really seen or known, paints a target on them... Then they're such a kind and empathetic person to the teens such as Logan or Scott or Storm, and suddenly they're all protective over Reader. That is THEIR emotional support child/pup/gremlin, pick on someone else, or better yet, face THEM-
(If you have any more questions, or if anyone else has questions, please, again, feel free to ask! I am not doing requests right now, but I can do short things like explanations, world-building, character discussions and backstories, as well as backstory and hints as to what is going with the school/campus...😊💛💕)
Thank you for asking, ❤ Anon! (Would you like a nickname?) (We have Bee or 🐝, Honeybee or 🍯🐝, or Hiveling or 🧪🐝)

For the.📒Mutant High🧪 AU, remember the discussion/idea/scenario 🐝BeaBee imagined, and that I imagined to the point I thought they read my mind? where one (or more) of the ferals had to take off for a day to handle their instincts? And how they kept Reader with them, bundled up in the nest they made and unable to leave? Yeah...
So let's imagine a fun little scenario expanding on that:
Reader has a test that needs to get done. Except...
There are two problems.
One: It has to be done that very day, or the teacher from that class will either punish them for not doing it, even though they are required not to be there, or fail them... And..
Two: They're stuck with a feral (or two) because today was the day they experienced their instincts.
So, Reader has a small problem to fix.
It wouldn't be so bad if that one teacher who's having the quiz wasn't such a jerk (they were a human who didn't like any of the students, especially the mutant ones), and they knew Reader and a few others wouldn't be able to be free today to go to their class and take it. So what does Reader do?
They sneak off while the feral who is in the room with them is asleep. And it almost worked, too... except when Reader opened the door it creaked really loudly, their feral friend tried to hug them but they weren't there, so now Reader had to bar the door and promise to come back, just right after they've done the test.
It wasn't a surprise when once they'd reached the end of the hall, the door burst open... with an unhappy, enraged feral growling at the top of their lungs. Reader did the only thing they could think to do, and ran.
Running through the halls was usually prohibited, but in this case they had no choice. Look, they were doing their best! But if they didn't take the test, they'd be stuck with that awful teacher for awhile, and so would anyone else who missed that test! So if that means they're racing down the halls and stairs as fast as they can like a demon is after them, so be it! It only gets more complicated when they're having to rush an apology by everyone who ends up in their way, quickly shoving themself past them and apologizing as loud and fast as they can...
When they hear the confused, loud shouts behind them, followed by the angry huffing and snarling of their poor feral friend, Reader bolts around the corner. It doesn't take much longer to reach a few rooms, which they toss a few books and items into, hoping to throw their friend off their scent...
It takes a few more minutes, but they eventually reach their class, gasping and wheezing for air. Reader knows they look like a mess, and probably appear to be mildly out of it... but they made it!
...Only for the teacher to have a tight, not-so-happy grin on their lips, who opens their mouth, starting to snidely say something-
Then Mr. Lehnsherr slams the door open, face bright red and madder than anything Reader had seen before, looking more frazzled and out of sorts than Reader... along with the small group of students behind him, who look like a hurricane hit them...
"Who... said these students couldn't take their test another day?" His tone is sharp, and his eyes look like they could melt solid steel.
Everyone looks at the room's teacher, who quickly tries to backtrack, sputtering-
"SHUT IT! I just had to handle four of our feral students, when they should have been in their rooms! Along with them-" He spreads his hand to indicate the small herd of students with him. "They should have been dealing with these emotions safely away from the mains school body! So, tell me..." The chairs and hinges squeak, pens and pencil ends being crushed... "Why. Are. They. HERE?!"
The room is silent for a few moments, as the words sink in...
Then the teacher opens their mouth-
Only to be interrupted by Victor coming in, his amber eyes narrowed... and holding a bedraggled Logan and Kurt. His sharp grin indicates he's not pleased. Not. One. Bit.
"Ah... so yer the *sshole who riled 'em up! Peachy. Just. F*ckin'. Peachy. So now we know who can pay ta repair the mess around here!"
"I didn't do this!"
"Oh? Is that so? Then why aren't they-" He hefts the two younger ferals up- "and them"- he jerks his head at the scuffed students- "in their rooms? Tell me, what was SO important that it couldn't wait until tomorrow?"
The teacher goes red, almost purple, in the face at his words, opening their mouth again-
"Save it fer the headmaster. I'm sure they'd love to hear who helped cause a school-wide incident."
Their mouth snaps closed, their face going from bright red to pale and ashen.
"Thank you, Victor," Mr. Lehnsherr mutters, then takes control again. "Students who were told they had today off, please fof the love of Cha- for the sake of not causing any more unnecessary damage, please go back to your feral friends' room. And please do not leave again, unless it's an emergency." He turns around, and the teacher is tugged forward, a metal ruler pushing them until they start walking. "As for you, you're coming with me. It seems we need to talk about necessary and unnecessary risks and rules..."
"Well, now that that's settled- Reader! C'mon! Let's get back before J- Logan bursts something," calls Victor, and Reader gets up, joining the disgruntled group of ferals and feral-buddy students. They discover Hank, who's holding Laura, while Bobby and Warren chat with each other. A few others are Pietro and Evan, who busy themselves by keeping up a light discussion with Todd. Rogue is there, same as Kitty, both of them helping to hold the other up, while chatting at Kurt and Logan, who both look rather unhappy.
Well...
They'll all be lucky if their feral friends are calmed down by Friday...
Still...
"Okay, everyone, let's keep it moving! Grab yer buddy er whatever and get the h*ll back ta yer rooms... Don't want to deal with that ... headmaster...hhhrmmmphhh... rnnnghhh..."
After what felt like the longest fifteen minutes, they all end up back in the dorms, each group splitting off and making plans...
Reader let's out a small noise as they're picked up, soon ending up back in the room they left earlier that morning...
"You... hrmmph! Just stay put-"
And Reader finds themself back where they started, albeit with their friend/s curled around them, making sad, wet animals noises and unhappy growls...
"Um... I'm sorry?"
"..."
"..."
"If I make pancakes in a few days, will you forgive me?"
That earns a pleased, happy chirp/growl, and Reader settles into the nest. It's going to be a long day...

Omg I’m so invested in this au now!!!! I love the vibe and everything you said about it so far. Your last post/answer about how the mutants sometimes get days off due to their mutation gave me this thought:
Some teacher, doing attendance: Reader Readerson?
Laura: Shes excused today because of feral reasons
The teacher: Huh? I thought she didn’t show a mutation yet? I wasn’t informed that she developed a feral mutation…
Laura: she didn’t
Teacher: then what are you talking about?
Laura: Logan started nesting and he’s refusing to let Reader out of his room right now, it has something to do with the protective instinct with the weakest member of the pack.
Teacher, stunned:
Teacher: okay, I’m not going to get involved in this, let’s just continue with chapter 7.
(Also I love 🐝 BeaBee!!!! Amazing. That’s what I’ll sign off with from now on)
- 🐝 BeaBee
Did you read my mind?! That's what I was thinking!!!😱😃 And yay, Laura! They, Reader, is too sweet to say no, and most likely they were asleep when the instincts took over, so it's not like they can leave anyway without causing a very, very big problem...
But yes, whenever the feral or partially feral mutants have to take a day off to handle their instincts (they're in a school and they can't hug or attack or nest regularly), they almost always request for them or move Reader into their room to cuddle with. So, that means Hank, Logan, Victor, Kurt, and Laura... along with possibly Todd, too... And Reader is slightly confused but happy to help! It would be nice, though, if they could get up to get them all food... (It's been three hours since they woke up, and no one has eaten anything since about 5:30pm or 6:30pm last night...)
• And to be fair, a few of the ferals do share rooms with each other/are roommates... For instance, Kurt and Todd possibly share a room, along with Evan and Pietro (they have bunk beds, and are bunk buddies)(Reader will jokingly see them as a quartet, like Ninja Turtles or some Power Rangers)
• Laura is likely with Kitty or Rogue, but because everyone sleeps over a lot in the rec rooms, she's usually able to curb most of her instincts by sleeping against Logan or cuddling with Reader.
• Aaand Victor and Logan share a room. Whenever Victor deals with instincts, he's the only one allowed out of the nest (their beds end up pushed together and covered with every blanket, sweater, and jacket they have) (Heaven help the school if all of the ferals/partially ferals are out the same day... Because they're likely keeping Reader with them, and no one is sure they can take on all of them to get Reader back to class/breakfast/lunch/recess...)
(Okay! You, ❤ Anon, I now dub🐝BeaBee!)(😊 And if you want to discuss more of this au or the characters or the world-building/backstories, please, feel free to ask about it or talk about it!)
(I and 🐑 Anon finished discussing the seven adults and their potential as Reader's parent in the 🖤Dark AU, and I was wondering: which platonic yandere adult would you want as Reader's parent? I'm curious. You can choose up to two or three, as I realize choosing just one is a little hard)

Another cute scene I thought of:
Kitty: what did you guys get on question 6?
Pietro: I got 7
Wanda: I got 9
Kitty: Damn, I got 42, guess I flunked this math quiz… Reader, what did you get?
Reader, with this expression 🫠: I got George Washington…
-Later-
Professor Xavier (who’s favorite student definitely isn’t reader, what are you talking about?): I got your tests back. Except for Readers, sadly your test…drowned. You get an A though
- ❤️ Anon
🤣😂😅 Oh dear... I can see that happening! But I raise you this: What if Reader actually was correct? Now that would be hilarious 😆...
• I headcanon Reader is great with things like algebra and multiplication, just maybe not word questions in math or English
• Reader is good with drawing notes, charts, and diagrams/pictures for science, biology and anatomy classes. Scarily accurate, in a way, at least compared to the other teens closer to their age
• Reader has weaker arms, but really strong legs. They're a good defense on sports teams, so they're more likely to block someone or hit/kick/strike the ball to someone else (they accidentally kicked someone in the shin, hard enough for then to fall over in agony)
• Reader is good at baking/cooking. They tend to be okay with measurements, but struggle a bit when it comes to dry vs. wet ingredients and diffent oven temperatures
• I'm going to say the campus appears similar to a boarding school: Everyone lives there, basically
• Reader does not have a roommate; they are invited to stay over with others, though... or have a few platonic yans invite themselves to stay over with Reader in their room
• The town near the school (it's a few miles out) is pretty much like a ghost town, save for a few odd individuals... There are places to go for field trips, such as a science and history museum, an aquarium, an art museum, and some landmarks/environments such as a mountain range, the beach/coast, and a few forests...
• The Town has a few places to visit, for food or clothes or movies, it's just... really, really quiet... If it weren't for the few people living there, one would think they're in the middle of nowhere...
• Is there a uniform? Not exactly? Everyone has to wear a wristband that states their name and school number, but otherwise? There isn't much of a dress code
• The campus has dorms, it has a few built-in cafes and galleries, as well as an auditorium, gymnasium, pool, garden, library, and a few other places... (Don't look beneath the /&>=# &!))... )
• The students and teachers have their own living areas and recreational rooms. Sometimes the students throw large sleepovers in one or two of their rec rooms, because no one's room is big enough to hold everyone; Reader, once they join the school, is being invited to these sleepovers almost every time
• The students, the mutants ones, have their mutations. Sometimes they have to take a day or two off, due to them (namely those who have feral mutations and instincts, those with mind-reading or telepathy, those with specific needs where their mutation has to be controlled, ex. Rogue wearing gloves, Scott wearing glasses, etc.)
• Reader has a mutation, but for some unknown reason, it isn't showing or known to the students or teachers... They've had tests done and had the feral mutants see if they can scent the X-gene from them (it causes a distinct scent), and so far Reader has passed each test... It's confusing for a lot of them...
• There is a dark secret buried beneath everything, something pulling a few characters' strings and forcing paths and actions... But this secret keeps itself hidden and unknown... What I can say, without spoiling anything, is that it's not one person who's behind it... It's several...
And these are a few fun facts to know about the 📒Mutant High🧪 AU!
(Thank you, ❤ Anon, or Bee🐝!) (Or BeaBee🐝!)

What if (in the dark Dino squad Au) after they got this traumatized and sick and Victor is the only one who was actually able to help, Reader kind of falls into a sort of Stockholm syndrome(not-really-but-kinda) where they don’t want to leave Victor, like they still don’t want for all humans to die, but they’re now so scared and traumatized by what happened to them that they are actually rather happy/content staying with Victor who protects them, loves them and makes sure they’re always happy and healthy and taken care off. How would the others and Logan react? I’d assume Victor would be rather happy about that.
- 🐝 BeaBee
Okay! Good question, I haven't had anyone ask about Stockholm Syndrome-esque reaction from Reader! (I'm not sure if this is a path the au will take, but im happy to explore it here!)
The other teens woukd feel a bit weird. Let's explore their thoughts on it first:
Scott would feel a bit... guilty. Also a little freaked out. Because while yes, they teamed up with their enemy, who has only ever been worried over their health (obsessively enough that he feels freaked out being too close to him), this is still someone who hates humans, and plans to destroy them. He knows tbey agreed to this. He knows why they agreed to this. But it doesn't make him feel any less off about it... (He was the most reluctant to go to Victor for help)
Rogue would be similar, but she also realizes Reader is still having to recover, so it might not last... And even if this sense of gratefulness does last, they begrudingly owe him... She doesn't like most humans, and while she doesn't want them gone, she does want to get back at those who did this to Reader, so... if they're partnering with someone as mean as a tiger, then that's what they'll have to do (she was the second most reluctant, but less so than Scott)
Pietro doesn't like it. He really doesn't. But, facts are: Their new ally saved Reader's life, or at least is keeping them from dying; he's not torturing them or dissecting them or whatever evil scientists and doctors and geneticists do; he's feeding them while Logan is... not available...; and he plans to let them live. So technically speaking, this guy is okay. Look, he'll go along with what's going on until they have a reason not to. Plus, they get to figure out how some of this stuff woks, so if they want, they could try to at least mitigate some of the damage done in Victor's plans... or try to change things for the better... (He was in the middle on it, but leans more towards for their choice rather than against it)
Gambit... he doesn't like they had to make this choice, but... it was the lesser of two evils. And if this evil raptor can keep Reader alive and doesn't want them dead, then he's all for whatever plan he has. He doesn't want to change the environment to the prehistoric era one. He doesn't want to change certain animals or plants. He doesn't want to lose his friends, his family. And he won't. As long as they do this, then they have a say in what happens. It isn't easy, and it isn't pure, but it's what they have left. It was this, or let Reader die... And that simply wa.ant going to happen... (He is for the choice they made, albeit he discussed it with the others before they all decided on it)
Logan.. was against it. He only found out last minute, when the choice had already been made and the deal sealed. He thought it was a bad idea, because the last time he talked with brother, was hundreds, if not thousands, of years ago. And the brother he remembered hated humans with a passion. He was scared his brother would harm the kids if he ever found out they were human, or had been human... Then he wakes up, to find out he's being kept sedated, so he doesn't leave... He's not happy. But... when his brother is able to keep Reader from dying... He reluctantly accepts it. He doesn't like Reader liking his brother so much, but until they're fully healed or cured, they can't afford to leave...
And Victor has no complaints in the least. He has a nestling who is curled against him half the time, he has the other teens to care for, and he has his brother, all with him, alive, and as well as they can manage... So he's quite pleased with this new situation...

Sorry that I was a little absent the last day, I was busy sewing. But I read through all of the Dino Squad Au posts (which I loved btw) - I especially loved the reader is the smol dino and the others don’t know that they are the dino.
Now about you dark!dino au post? What exactly would that entail? I’d like some details.
Also I read the this could be paradise post and the lotus eater post and honestly I love it!!! and I’d actually not be opposed to eating that shit, because it sounds so peaceful. The question I have is this? What would happen if the reader was somehow immune to the thing that makes them all “pink”? Like if the food or the meds don’t work on them?
Also about the High school Au parent question: I think Charles is a good contestant, just because he has the headmaster vibe and the reader gives off giant favorite student vibes. Also Erik for the same reasons and because he seems like he’d be a strict and feared teacher, but a total simp for reader and he’d let them off with everything.
Also, while I’m at it, what would happen if in the dark!au, reader accidentally passes away while the four are on the run, because of the previous injuries they got when they were kidnapped and tortured, and the other three can’t handle it and the other mutants find the three around reader’s body, completely distraught. (If this is too angsty/Dark, I’m sorry)
- BeaBee 🐝
No worries, 🐝BeaBee! You take care of yourself first and foremost, okay? I can wait. It's no problem. We all have lives outside of Tumblr, and those have to be taken care of. So it's okay.😊
For the Dino Squad AU: Depending on which AU/post you read, Reader is either a Dakotahraptor or Compsagnathus, since you're referring to a small dino... There is also a post where they were a Spinosaurus, so if you want, you can check that out, too! The main AU has Reader, Scott, Rogue, Remy, and Pietro as the five Dino Squad members and Reader is a Dakotahraptor there, while a request someine asked for was if i could do the Brotherhood with a Compsagnathus Reader...
For the Dark Dino Squad AU: Something bad happens that makes Reader wounded or ill, this causing their teammates to turn to Victor (who takes the place of Veloci in the AU), and they kinda go to the dark side. So Reader is possibly on borrowed time or at the least wounded, trying to escape/talk sense into everyone (Logan is in the background, unhappily, as he did not agree to contact his crazy older brother) (This has a few ways it could go, but I'm deciding which path to ultimately take at the moment... it's a hard choice...)
For the Lotus Eater or This Could Be ParadiseAU (as I'm not sure if you meant just one of them or both of them): Huh... if Reader were immune... that might be a problem. Because now the platonic yan adults are trying to make some serum or drug from the flowers/fruits that WILL work, all while Reader plots their escape and has to play along... (and, well, yes! It is hard to say no to the flowers/fruits, and I know eating one doesn't sound so bad, if only to forget for a few small hours, if not awhile longer... and also tastes good, so, there's that going for it!)
For the Mutant High AU (the one you called Mutant Highschool!): So, Charles isn't the headmaster or the parent. If he were, that WOULD be fun! Buuuut in this one instance, he isn't. He IS however, their biology/human anatomy teacher, as well as a school doctor/nurse, because why not? If he were Reader's parent, that would be so sweet! He is a good father figure/adopted dad, but he isn't Reader's biological dad and they aren't his legally adopted child. Reader isn't related to anyone, but they are adopted (found family style) by everyone of the school who are not the (spoilers spoilers spoilers)... I will reveal what I can, but a hint to help you guess what's going on... Watch out for how Erik, Victor, Remy, and Hank act... They know something, but they aren't the problem... rather... they're the ones dealing with it in the shadows... (you are on fire with this AU! So, good job, 🐝BeaBee!!!)
Foe the Dark AU: If Reader actually died... well, you just reached the ultimate angst. The platonic yans would likely not handle it well. Scratch that, if they weren't crazy before (they were, by the way), well, they sure as fr*ck are now. If they had a way to bring Reader back from the dead, say, either a mutant who can do that or a science-y solution, they are doing it, no ifs, ands, or buts... And the other three teens who are with Reader? Remember, they watched Reader die the first time. If they had to go through it a second time? While still newly traumatized by surviving or being brought back from what happened to all four of them? What sanity they have would be on the thinnest sheet of ice. Press any harder, and it all cracks wide open...
(Thank you for asking your questions,🐝BeaBee! I am glad to answer them! If you want to ask anymore questions, feel free to do so! I hope I helped explain a bit about the AUs, and that I gave a few hints as to what's going to happen! Stay safe and take as many breaks as you need, okay?😊) (And I do like hearing from you, and everyone else, but we all have things to do; so no worries. Take whatever time you need. You all don't have to ask any questions. But if you WANT to, you can. Just don't pressure yourself, okay?)

Okay so about your parent question:
I also think Victor or Logan make sense because of the whole feral!thing, but honestly I think Raven is also such a solid choice.
Like she is a shapeshifter so her kid being a shapeshifter as well just a little to the left actually makes sense. Add to that that she loses both Kurt and Reader?!? The angst potential, but also the possible sibling fluff? I’m all for it.
- 🐝 BeaBee
Good points, 🐝BeaBee! Since Raven is a shapeshfiter too, it would make sense just as much if she were Reader's parent! And yeah, she'd also be going through it. Let's see...
I guess a list of which adults would end up attached to which kids would be in order, since it also helps figure out how angst-y it would be if they were the parent... Let's see:
Erik: Pietro, Reader
Hank: Kurt, Kitty, Reader
Charles: Kurt, Kitty, Reader, and possibly Pietro?
Logan: Kurt, Kitty, Reader
Victor: Reader, possibly Pietro, Kitty, and Kurt?
Ororo: Kurt, Kitty, Reader
Raven: Kurt, Reader, possibly Pietro
(So they all would have lost Reader, but would have likely lost one other kid they liked/saw as their's, if not caring deeply for all four... So they all have potential, its just a matter of figuring out which one fits Reader, their mutation, and possibly the angst of the story...)
Who are your top three favorites for Reader's possible parent, 🐝BeaBee?
(If you want to talk about the 🖤 Dark AU or the 📒Mutant High🧪 AU, I am all ears 🐝BeaBee!!)
