Technically speaking, because I multiclassed Stelle as a paladin/cleric, I dumped her str stat to focus on charisma and wisdom (I'm following a guide I don't know how to min-max things).

She's technically the same strength as Gale or slightly stronger. But I still like to imagine her as capable of lifting Gale up over her head even at 3ft tall - in my head she's still like a 15 str paladin

I don't think people are aware of the meta-ness of Sherlock Gnomes (2018).

The IMDb page for this film states that “Sherlock Gnomes was modelled after Basil Rathbone, who played Sherlock Holmes in fourteen movies between 1939 and 1946.” These films are of course eminent in the long line of Holmes adaptations, and it's no surprise that Rathbone and Bruce were used as models in contemporary adaptations. Their modelling goes beyond simply their appearances, however.

Paramount's film directly opposes the characterisation set up by the Rathbone saga, of their bumbling Bruce-Watson alongside the omnipotent Rathbone-Holmes (to say that these films are lacking in friendship would be quite false). Sherlock Gnomes takes this dynamic (while somewhat embellishing it) and directly opposes it, pleading justice for Watson's intelligence, while also bringing to light the character flaws in Doyle's Holmes. While I have nothing against Bruce-Watson personally, I agree it doesn't feel a spitting portrait of his source material, and so this film takes a perfectly fair stance in wanting to right the poor reputation Watson has received on screens.

And the only people who have any interest or appreciation for this film are Holmesians like us! God bless Sherlock Gnomes ♥ ♥

Thinking about a dunmesh stuck au but not even like the plot or anything im just thinking of how insane it must look to the island lord when an adventuring party of 12- including an ogre of wild strength, a werecat beastman, 2 piscine demihumans with expensive tastes, an elf with a chainsaw, a gnome who seems to actively resent how attune to spirits he is, a spirit-attuned tallman obsessed with collecting monster bones, a kobold clown bard, etc- all headed by a single foulmouthed extremely loud half foot who they all are completely loyal to somehow. everyones placing bets on how long until a power struggle destroys the party meanwhile if anything happened to karkat the other 11 would kill Everyone In The Dungeon And Then Each Other
