Silco's coat gives me vampire vibes....

That is probably a reason why I'm thinking about an AU where Silco is actually a vampire. Not from the begging but as a result of Singed saving his life after the murder attempt by Vander.🤔

Perhaps there was barely any chance of survival so Singed decided that introducing a very rare mutation (with low survival chances as well) on top of some version of shimmer won't change much but would give him some new info and maybe save Silco's life if he's lucky enough.

Silco survives and indeed becomes a vampire. Need for blood drinking and all. Food tastes like ash to him now but drinks are okay. Enhanced physical abilities, senses and regeneration is definitely a boon in his line of work. Strangely enough regeneration does not in fact affect his eye or the scar on his face. He also lost something he can't quite pinpoint. But that's probably expected for someone who died and was reborn.

When he takes Jinx in and she eventually finds out she's very insistent that he should turn her so she would become his "real" daughter. But Silco is adamantly against it because chances of surviving the transformation are extremely low. He does everything he can to assure her that she's enough the way she already is.

When he finds her barely alive on that bridge and rushes her to Singed he's willing to do anything for her to survive. So when apex shimmer proves not to be enough to save her Singed uses Silco's blood to try and turn her.

It works. She dies and comes back to life again changed. And this time Powder is really dead there's only Jinx left after all the new biochemistry rewired her brain. All ghosts gone. It's so strangely clear and quiet in her head. She feels she lost something but it's probably not that important in grand scheme of things? She's alive and Silco is happy that she is. And maybe now she could be even more useful for him and his cause...

And Vi? She left her again. Walked away with that enforcer girl. And she died again but not just figuratively this time to finally be completely reborn as Jinx.
